Hey, I’m Jess! I moved out of home and into one sharehouse years ago, and now need to find a new place to live. I’m a full time student at Deakin, so I want to live somewhere close to it, and I work part time as a pharmacy assistant. I want to live with people who I can be friends with. The plan is that each time I come home I feel free in my choices to go hang out in my room or to hang out with people in common areas, ideally with some times where we are all choosing to be together. I’m a pretty simple person to live with—I read, I watch movies and tv, I like music but don’t have any instruments to subject you to, I like having desserts to share with people. Here’s hoping that we’re able to live together!
Hello my name is Sammy, I am 20 years old and am currently living in Forest Hill. I work part time at Best and Less in Southland, and will be in my third year of university studying Psychology this year. I also go to a Japanese language school as I am fascinated in the Japanese culture. I am looking for a place: -that is preferable furnished. -that has parking for a car -that is clean and well kept. -has welcoming, respectful and comfortable flats mates.
Heya! I'm Callum. I'm moving from Canberra to Melbourne to study Journalism at Deakin University. I just returned from 6 months travelling around South America, North America and Europe staying in hostels so I'm pretty adaptable to any personalities. I love podcasts, video and boards games and going out dancing with friends. If you want a reliable, chill and friendly housemate I'm your dude.
I’m currently studying full time at Rmit and working Part time. I’m clean, quiet and respectful of all my housemates and there belongings. Usually away most weekends. Always up for a chat and good time, but understand the need for privacy. Looking for a house with like minded friendly people :)
I am a vivacious person who loves music, cooking and meeting new people. I am working in hospitality and will be studying nursing this year. I am looking to share a place with someone with similar interests, hopefully with a pet or two for me to cuddle!
Just an environmental science student from Deakin looking for somewhere to live. Moving from Sydney to Melbourne. Im not very loud and i respect the people i share a space with. I'll be working casually at nights and wont be around the house much except when studying.

We are looking for someone that loves animals and dosent mind being around very loving cats and rabbits. Please don't hesitate to message me if you have a place that would suit us or if you have any questions. Thank you!!
I'm a tidy, considerate and friendly guy, who loves his videogames and a good chat.
hi, we're two best friends who moved accidentally into the same house back in 2017. We have both been living out of home with six housemates for two years and are going into our third years of study at Deakin. Em; originally from Phillip Island has a very chill and laid back personality and is always up for long Netflix binges or impromptu adventures anywhere. She is currently studying a bachelor of Exercise Science and works part-time as a gym receptionist. Riy; originally from Traralgon is going into her third year of a bachelor of Criminology and loves her fair share of Netflix binges, puzzles and books. She currently works part-time in retail in Chadstone. We're definitely a package deal and love going to gigs and exploring beaches watching glorious sunsets and hanging out with our housemates. However, we do love our own space and are very respectful of our fellow housemates. Currently looking to hopefully fill a four bedroom house, so would love to team up! We also have a third friend; Liv, who is our environmentally savvy world wanderer friend jumping in with us! She's very chill, definitely loves her adventures and gigs.
I have been living on my own for last year in a very small apartment looking for a bigger place. I have had experience renting have a perfect rental history with paying rent and cleanliness looking for a roommate to share a nice apartment.
I'm a friendly person that can have a good chat. I love my sport & music & love my family/friends. I'm organised and like to keep busy, but also like my alone time. I work casually at AFL games, and with EWG, working at events. I will be studying at Holmesglen this year, studying a degree of sports media. I’d love roommates that are trusting and caring, and have a good sense of humor. This will be my first time living away from home so might take me a little while to get used to that. Would prefer having just 1 roommate, or 2 at max, but would be okay with a family.
I'm a 25 year old Psychology Postgraduate student. I am an Australian and Italian citizen, so I fluently speak both English and Italian. I am friendly and easy going as well as organised and trustworthy. When I am not studying, I enjoy either relaxing at home by reading, listening to music, cooking or doing yoga; otherwise I enjoy having a fun night out. I am looking for a cozy place I can temporarily call home and some housemates I can with time call friends!
Hello! My name is Ciara and I was born and raised in Alaska. I will be moving to Melbourne on March 4th with my boyfriend Sam (two years) who is from there. We are looking for a place for one year as he will be finishing his last year at Deakin and I am on a work and travel visa. In the summer, we like to hike and camp. Sam plays tennis and coaches. In the winter, we like to ice skate and snowboard. We enjoy drinking, cooking, and just hanging out. I like photography. Sam is 21 years old and I am 23. Sam has a car and will need a parking spot. I do not have a car so it would be nice to be close to public transportation. I would like a full kitchen with a dishwasher. We love dogs and can care for them. We are looking to pay $150-200 each or $300-400 for both of us per week.
Hi, I'm Alex, currently looking for a chill and tidy place to move into or even teamups but prefer no more than 4 people max ( inc. myself ). I keep everything clean, quiet if everyone wants their privacy and can have some fun together if called for. Cat lover, so I'm totally cool with pets ( yes, dogs too ), don't smoke, not loud, don't care about gender or sexuality of mates, am a little shy but not scared to socialise. Lastly, I am a lover of bantering.
Hi, I am Meru, a 22y.o. Kazakh nomad girl roaming around the world =D Currently I am doing my Master's in Europe and as a part of studies I will visit Deakin University for 3 months at the beginning of 2019. Australia was a dream destination from my childhood, therefore I am too excited about my stay there. I like exploring everything new - places, people, knowledge, skills, etc. I am pretty easy-going person and can adapt for all life conditions :) I appreciate cleanliness(read tidiness) of my flatmates and respect interests of everyone. I don't have bad habits(no smoking, no alcohol) Too much to say, but in short if you are talkative, open, hangout type of person then yeah I can talk with you non-stop for hours and hours and join to go out, but if you are not so social and prefer quiet flatmates, well I will respect it as well. Oh yeah sometimes I immerse to studies and become almost invisible =D Thats pretty much it. The remaining we can always discuss!
hello I am an undergraduate studying at Deakin university. looking for a clean and tidy place. would enjoy the company for few flatmates who are fun as well respect each other and their privacy. Hoping to find a place within close proximity to the university.
Hi ! I’m a french business student coming in Melbourne for an exchange semester at Deakin University. Will arrive on 1st February 2019. I’m easy-going, respectful and clean. I really like sports and I enjoy going out with friends. I plan to travel to discover Australia during the 6 months I’ll spend there.
Hi there! I am currently seeking a medium term share house. Ideally I would like to rent a place by myself, but I don't yet have the required start up funds, so I am seeking a share situation for approximately 4-6 months as an interim solution. I don’t own a car, so public transport options are important, particularly train lines (faster than trams!). Over the Christmas break I have been inbetween jobs, but come late January/February I will be doing a combination of work, study, music rehearsals & other activities - so I will be occupied & with income - always a bonus! When I am at home I mostly like to relax and rejuvenate. I love cooking, baking, board/card games, pool, music, theatre, culture, reading, sleeping, parklands, crime dramas, and animals. I would be keen to live with people who share similar interests. Not too fussed on age and I am totally accepting of different lifestyles. I drink very rarely - I am not opposed to living with someone who drinks just not heavily. I would prefer a non-smoking household as well. I always pay rent/bills on time and I am extremely clean and tidy. I have lived in share houses for over 10yrs, so I understand the importance of respect and communication. References are available.
