I'm Meg, a 32 y/o textile designer. Just moved back from London after two years away. My weekends are usually pretty busy spending time with friends, family etc but keep it quiet mid week. Have lived in share houses for years so I know the drill. Would prefer to live with social people who also have their own thing going on. Move in date is flexible
Hey everyone, Steve and me are a german couple and we're gonna move to Melbourne in January. We'll be on our second working holiday visa then. We're going to look for a full time employment for at least 6 months. Steve is a chef and I am a hospitality specialist. That's why we've choosen Melbourne, to make some experience and improve our CVs ;) We're very relaxed and neat. Due to our jobs, we're very clean. On our days off, we like to go to the cinema, meet friends, cook together or just spend the time on the couch. We are no party animals but love to have a few beers or wine with our house mates ;) So, if your looking for a relaxed couple, with some great cooking skills, feel free to contact us!
I'm moving to Melbourne to start university next year at VCA in Southbank, and am looking for any nice and affordable place to live. I'm somewhat introverted and quiet but easygoing and up for socialising, and I'm easy to get along with. I am a photographer and love art, music, films, games, and pretty much anything creative. I'm also vegan and an animal lover, and great with pets.

Hi future flatmate! I'm Rob, I work full time in digital marketing corporate sales growing small to medium sized businesses and start-ups but stay in touch with my artistic roots. I value intellect and creativity. I'm always interested in learning something new from a genuine character. Ps, I'm a Kiwi! but no I do not want a chup. I'm counting macros. I'm pretty easy going and balanced. I get along with people who are also. I value creativity, authenticity, communication, humor, fitness, music, and I like to network. I'm tidy and clean but not OCD by any means. I'm big on personal development with some pretty challenging goals I'm excited about in the pipeline but I'm equally as excited to hear about yours and maybe even help if you like. I have some side projects I've been working on for a few years that do occupy my attention from time to time so I only ask you don't worry where I am if I'm busy working on them but I'm just going to put it out there casually... I'm fun. I look forward to hearing from you. Rob
I am moving to Melbourne from Adelaide to study post grad pharmacy. I will be pretty busy with study and like my own space but i still like to have a chat and hang out etc. I am preferably looking to live in a shared townhouse with other females somewhere 20-30minutes from CBD and near a train line (i dont really know suburbs of melbs so the ones ive put in are kind've random). Clean and respectful, have lived in a shared house before.
Easy-going kiwi who moved over almost 3 years ago, currently working full time and often out with mates outside this. I'm looking for a friendly flat where people are happy to hang out sometimes at home but also like their private time. Being able to have mates over sometimes is essential but I respect being able to come home to a quiet place to relax as well. I usually spend my leisure time watching tv, hanging out with mates, playing pool, etc Send me a message if you think I'd fit with your flat!
Ideally looking to start a sharehouse with someone nice. Currently, working part time and completing my law degree in another 6 months time. I am Aussie citizen but my background is Indian. I am respectful, friendly and considerate. I appreciate the fact that people need space and I expect the same from the other person. However, I am also a friendly and caring person and very happy lend some company. I like clean environments though. Especially, toilets and kitchen. So, please be mindful of that. :-)
Hello, We are Linda and Carl from Sweden. We have a room for the moment but only til January, so we are hoping to find a place from January to mid/end of March to share with people similar to us! Carl works as a chef on Acland St and I as a waitress. We are tidy people who enjoy food, gym, travel and outdoor life. We're sociable and friendly but are not looking for a party house.
I'm very easy going and easy to talk to, and get along well with others... I'm very respectful and very tidy. I love to cook and I like to eat on the healthy side of things as well, and I don't mind cooking for others.. I'm very responsible, and make my payments on time , actually I've always been early lol... I don't drive, so with that being said, I do go on the good faith of pictures and descriptions give, and thus far haven't had an issue, so inspections aren't needed, but maybe a phone call to chat would be something I can do.
I am looking at sharing a house as am over living by myself. Currently live in a 1 Bdrm apartment in Richmond. I work in Banking/Finance and love what I do. In my spare time I love socialising with friends, I play tennis and ride my motorcycle on weekends. Hi! I'm Mitch. I'm looking for a relatively longer arrangement. 6-12 months or longer. I'm single, non smoker, and have no pets. I work 9-5 for a small private health insurance company. My interests outside of work include seeing live music, enjoying a beverage or two with friends and family, taking iPhone photos of other people's doggos, scrolling through the movies and tv shows on Netflix and not watching a thing, and buying pot plants. I spend a fair few weekends hanging out with my family in country Vic too. I keep my living spaces clean and tidy. I'm chill with cooking my own food or sharing meals with people. I do sometimes go for the convenience of eating out or getting lite and easy delivered weekly. I'm really sociable but also like my own space. I'm all about home being free of confrontation and stress. That's what work is for! I've lived in a really big apartment for 5 years, so I'd like to live in a similar place. Somewhere new/renovated and clean with lots of light and lots of space. Looking for 2 or 3 bedroom apartments/houses/townhouses. I don't have a preference as to living with males or females. I'm also open to getting together a group of 3 or so, and looking at some apartments/houses/townhouses. Send me a message if you're interested! Cheers, Mitch :)

My name is Adriel, I am from Indonesia. I finished my master degree and currently looking for shared accomodation to stay. I currently live in shared housing so I already used to the environment. I intended to stay minimum 4-6 months (or even more depending on where I get my job).
Looking to create a new share or join an existing share with other positive, balanced, responsible flatmates who can cook a little, garden a little, are clean and dont take themselves too seriously. Cashed up as I work five days a week and also have a scholarship which funds my postgrad studies. Enjoy living in a decent home environment where everyone has their own lives and interests, and sharing an occasional meal together. This time around I'd like to live with people who are interested in creating a home environment and who also have a community outside of the home. I want to live somewhere with people who have their act together and expect a pleasant home environment together with mutual respect. After a larger unfurnished bedroom for QS Bed, plus a desk OR to bring furnishings into the living spaces if creating a NEW SHARE. Fridge washer microwave etc- most of the basics. Alternatively could look at storage if joining an existing share. Cat owner so after a place with an enclosed yard, not in a busy street and would prefer some room to grow us all veggies or at least a few potted herbs. Both myself and The Furry One would need a long term standard lease agreement. Bond and references available. Fitzroy North, Clifton Hill, Carlton North, Northcote, Ivanhoe East, Elwood, Elsternwick, Bentleigh, Brighton, Hampton preferably, but within about 20mins of the CBD.

Just moved here from the UK but lived in Melbourne for a while a few years back. My job (news editor for a tech/finance website) means I can travel a lot - was in Chicago for a while a couple of years ago - and so I'm staying here over the summer. Looking for somewhere for a few months with sound, relaxed people who wouldn't mind a beer in front of the TV every now and there. As for me, I try to be the goldilocks housemate - neat but not obsessive, friendly but not pushy, sociable but I'm not about to drag strangers back at 2am for a party. No fuss, no muss. Interests include books, films, music (I worked at a record shop last time I was here) and coffee, if that counts. Respectful of people regardless of colour, gender or sexuality.
I'm a nearly 19 year old female working part time and planning on working full time next year, I'm a clean person and I love music and baking. Looking to move in with someone/ a group around my age in the inner east. I'm looking for somewhere with no bond, however I am willing to pay rent in advance 4 weeks.
Hi, my name is Ben. I am currently studying International Relations at La Trobe, but work full-time during the holidays (and part time during the school semester). I am pretty relaxed and easy to get along with, and am hoping to live with people who are keen to build a friendship, and enjoy having a beer or wine every so often. I do my best to live green by being energy conscious and sorting my recyclables. I like to keep my own area tidy but am respectful to those who enjoy living a little messier, and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty when it comes to chores around the house-hold. I like to socialise on weekends but keep pretty quiet during the weeks, as I work 5- 6 days a week or am studying. I am also supportive of an environment where issues and grievances within the house-hold can be discussed openly but respectfully so there is no tension between house-mates. I am looking for accommodation that is long term for the foreseeable future as I continue my tuition. I enjoy reading, movies, video games, skating and meeting new people.
Hey, We're Bella and Liam, a really friendly couple who are respectful, friendly and easy to get along with. We're desperately looking to move in ASAP, as we need somewhere to commute from to go to work. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks so much, Bella
We are a friendly genuine Christian (married) couple who are loving, kind and understanding. We are easy going and relaxed. Wife loves cooking and we both love to share. However we have Christian standards and won't tolerate certain activity in the house. We love and accept everyone though, but will only live with those willing to live the same way as us. We love Jesus and go to a local church, and are looking for other God fearing friends. If you enjoy the sound of worship music and talking about God, send us a message :) Also with locations we aren't quite familiar with Melbourne as we only moved down here from Queensland mid November, so anywhere less than 50 or so mins from the city by tram is fine.
I am a yuppie, live and work within Melbourne CBD. I think the qualities that make me great to live with anyone are so many that they cannot even fit in this space... really? I think my past and current flat mates can tell you for sure that I am considerate, respectful and easygoing. You would find me caring and willing to help whenever it is required. I know the house rules well since I have been living in shared houses for almost 4 years. Currently, I am based on the corner of Flinder/Spencer Street and looking for a good location within CBD, preferably for 6 month. I already own all the necessities including white goods, appliances, crockery, furniture etc. so would prefer an unfurnished place that I could share with someone. Feel free to whisper or shout if you want to know more or just want to say HELLO :) Enough about me.... it is your turn now! Ball is in your court... hope to talk with my future flatmate soon. Cheers, Yasir
I'm your standard "I can totally hang out with you in the flat and watch movies with wine together or I can totally give you your space because I'm super in touch with the needs of others" type of flatmate. I love cooking, baking, wine, biking, watching videos of dogs, tequila, board games, uber eats, and my air popper. I'm a good roommate and I'm good for my rent money, so yay live with me!
Hey everyone! I'm studying law at Monash in Clayton, and also work part-time. I've got 4 years of rental experience, and have never missed a payment, and have never had any dramas at each of the places I've lived. I'm sometimes pretty busy, but I'm always friendly, clean and chill, and am looking for a decently social or friendly place. Major hobbies are language learning (Italian, Japanese and Malayalam) and travelling (I try and do a day trip whenever I can). Would prefer something between my uni in Clayton and the city, or maybe in the city.
Hi! I'm Bas, 26 and living that full time working dream in consulting. From all accounts I'm nice and friendly, like to stay active, enjoy cooking and while I may not make my bed everyday I nonetheless consider myself a clean person! Like everyone, I'm a big fan of a drink or two with friends, though am equally comfortable in my own company. Apart from a misguided blonde afro in my teens, I've very few skeletons in the closet and am looking for some like minded housemates to move in with for 2017.
Hi guys, we are a German couple driving into Melbourne one of these days. This year, we have set out for the great adventure of traveling the world. So far we have been exploring and enjoying Israel, South East Asia, including Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia, and now Australia. Upon arrival in Perth we bought our Mitsubishi Van and have since traveled through the Nullarbor, across the Great Ocean Road and hopefully soon into Melbourne. Before traveling we have been living in Berlin, Germany, and have come to get used to the many perks of living in a multicultural, young, creative and ever moving city. Some of the things we enjoy are live music, great food, festivals, sports, going dancing and meeting new people. We are social people, yet we respect other peoples' privacy. We are outgoing, but also enjoy a quiet night on the couch. We work hard, and therefore find that we are entitled to a little bit of fun after. We like the place clean, but don't fuss about a pan not cleaned. We believe that you should treat each others the way you want to be treated yourself. Therefore, if you feel like we would be a good addition to your shared house, you can expect us to treat you and your house with respect and consideration. We have both worked in hospitality and are going to look for that kind of work in Melbourne, too. We still have some savings, so we chose to look for an apartment first and then find something close by to be able to enjoy the many things to do in a city as big and vibrant as Melbourne. If you have any questions or concerns, please just give us a call and we'll be happy to answer them all! Cheers, Verena and Zeno :)
Hi guys! Manami is from Japan and I am originally from France. We used to live in Tokyo and work there as a financial accountant (her) and a public high school teacher (me) but we decided to take a break away from Japan and to move to Melbourne to live and work there for about a year. We are very clean, tidy, always eager to help if you need anything and we are a very friendly and sociable couple. We have no problem living in our own space and doing our own things but we are always more than happy to spend some time chatting, sharing beers or a bottle of wine or going out for dinner. We love to cook (especially French and Japanese food), watch TV shows (if you're looking for people to watch the next season of Game of Thrones with, you just found them!), go out to try new restaurants, bike around the city or just relax. If possible, we would like to leave in a central area of Melbourne so we can ride our bicycles anywhere from there. Our ideal budget would be 300 AUD but if your place is really nice and well located, we are ready to go up to 370 AUD (bills/internet included). We would like to move in this month but we are flexible with dates. If you would like us to be your new roommates or if you have any question, please feel free to contact us. Cheers! Manami and Vince
Hi! My name is Patricia, I am an 18 year old currently looking for a place to live close to the city. I work in Melbourne Central, and am hoping to go to Melbourne University to study a Bachelor of Arts in 2017. I'm artistic; I like to sing, write, paint and am currently learning to play the guitar. I'm organised and put together, but I'm also just really easy going. I spend most of my time at my part-time job, doing some volunteer work, and will be out of the house a fair bit. I'm really easy to make friends with, up for a good movie night/party/drinks/whatever from time to time. Personally not a smoker, but don't mind living with people who are.
