Hello future housemate! I'm Gel, 29, and currently studying at Box Hill (Lilydale campus) and used to live in a homestay at Surrey Hills but i'm currently on vacation. My friend, Maw, just came this January to study at Deakin (Burwood campus) and we agreed to join together in a shared house/flat when I get back this coming Feb. 20 to keep each other company. We are studying in different directions that's why we'd like to choose somewhere convenient for us to get to our school/work locations. We prefer an accommodation nearby Box Hill Central Station, maybe 5-7mins. walk max. We are both Filipinos. We are friendly, fun, enjoy outdoors and very sociable. We are very considerate and love to keep things neat and organized. We also highly respect each other's privacy. We've been friends since high school, with degrees from different universities, worked for a couple of years with non profit organisations and decided to study again abroad. We are looking for a shared house ideal for students and prefer to stay in separate rooms (fully furnished). If not available, we can share a big room for two with separate beds and enough space for study (study table and chairs). However, we are on a tight budget- 700/per month/per person (inc. bills and internet). We soooo love dogs and cats!! and we do have pets back home!!!! So if you have 1 or more, they'll be a delight to us. If we like your place, we might even choose to stay and live longer. Pls. send me a message if your listing fits our description and pls. include price per week including the bills (gas, water, internet, electricity). :-) Gel
Currently working in Kew as a bartender and a flower delivery girl for a well known florist which gives me some interesting stories to tell at the end of my work days and come with their own perks. Im also studying Entertainment Journalism with a bit of film this year, hoping to make some legendary doccos someday. In my down-time i love to cook and watch movies/tv series. (currently making my way through a never-ending list to watch.) Love going out for movies/food/drinks and having a good night out but i also like a quiet night in with homemade fajitas and a good movie or 3. I work some late nights but i also work most of the day so i keep really busy. I play hockey for Kew/Box hill Brumbies which is always fun to watch. Im into my fitness, traveling, food and always up for adventures!
I am easygoing clean and tidy person.i dont drink or smoke and i am looking to find a room for rent preferably with women
Hi there! I'm Alex, 23, and I'm moving back to Melbourne after a few years abroad to begin my Masters at Melbourne Uni. I'm friendly, tidy and sociable, I've been living in house shares for the past five years so I'm very well house trained. I'm looking for a private room in a share house within 30-40mins of the city. I lived in Melbourne a few years back so I am pretty familiar with the city. I will be studying full-time and will be looking for part-time work once I find a place in Melbourne. I'm happy to live with anyone of any age or background. I'm always up for a chat or a drink, but I do enjoy my own space and I'm very respectful of that of others. My budget is somewhat flexible, around $200 p/w, and that would ideally included some furnishings and bills. Feel free to send me a message or give me a call at any time. Thanks! :)
Just arrived from Brisbane to study Film and Television! I'm looking for something -not too expensive- and as close to the city as I possibly can and would like somewhere for 3 months or more... I've lived with other people before, I know how to keep shared spaces clean and respect the house I live in. I'm quite a chill person who's always down for adventuring the city or laying in bed watching movies/listening to music. I am on call all week, so please feel free to contact my number (text is the fastest/best way to contact me)
Hi there, I am looking to move in Feb 3rd. I work full time in the CBD in sales. I am from the New York City area, I am fluent in French, am in an A Capella group, and an Ultimate Frisbee league. I love cooking and am incredibly handy at fixing/installing/building! I am clean and always take care of my home. I am here on the working holiday visa, and have a bachelors. I am looking for a private furnished room, and will be going back to the States in June. I can't wait to see the location, please reach out!
Hello! I'm studying my 2nd year of Engineering at Monash University. Having lived in a share house, I'm respectful and considerate of people's privacy and space. I also enjoy chatting and having a laugh with my housemates whenever I can! I'm a sociable, independent and clean person who enjoys quality banter with friends, video and board games, Netflix, and doing film photography in my spare time! I'm also pet friendly as I've grown up with animals :) I'm looking for 2 rooms as my Friend Pauline who is studying Science at Monash University is also interested to rent. Feel free to message me as we'd love to meet and get to know you :)
HI! I'm Laura and I'm moving to Melbourne for work in late January. I am social and love having fun but I also require some quite to do work at home in the evening and weekends. I love dance, especially ballet and latin (salsa, bachata etc) and I enjoy cooking, going for walks and being active. I am friendly, respectful and clean and expect the same from my housemates. I am allergic to cats sorry! I'll be working in Box Hill so I'm looking either nearby or along the lilydale/belgrave train line as I don't have a car.
I'm an American, from Michigan that has been living in Wellington for the last 6 months and before moving here I Thru-hiked Te Araroa, which is 3000km from the bottom of NZ to the top. So I'm always keen on a weekend in the bush. Although I have worked in Hospo/Bars for the last 5 years, I'm doing an alcohol free year and will be looking for a non-hospo job so I'll have normal hours. I'm pretty easy going, game a decent amount, but always keen for convo over tea or coffee! I'm Christian, but the loving, Non-judgmental, LGBT friendly type. :D
Student, looking for a place to live for a year in Melbourne (suburbs), either a house shared with others - preferably under 30yo's or an apartment. Maximum budget $150 per person per week. Non smokers, tidy, organised, relocating from the country. Respectful of others, tidy up after myself. Looking for a housemate who is easygoing like me. Male or Female - preferably female. Would be great if I could find someone who would be up for the occasional shared dinner during the week, the odd drink with friends now and again and loves to have a good laugh.
I'm a 22 yr old graduate chemical engineer from Brisbane. Looking for a place to live that's clean, modern and comfortable. I am a clean person who's sociable and easy to get along with but also quiet and respectful of personal space at other times. I enjoy going out for food, playing basketball and always down for a few drinks with friends. Thanks!
I've been lucky to travel to a few places and you learn that you don't need much to be truly happy. I enjoy the outdoors, keep a healthy routine every week. But I enjoy an afternoon bevvo or a glass of wine. Enjoy my photography and have a few stories to share. Now, in Melbourne, moved for a new job as an engineer, so need a place that is closer to work.
I am clean and responsible, social but also enjoy down time. Working as a lifeguard while studying. I have a passion for journalism, good food and sport. I love to meet new people and would love to become friends with the person I'm living with, but also understand the importance of down time and privacy. I love a good book, TV series, gym session or weekend trip. Despite my younger age, I'm certainly not one to go clubbing each weekend or host them, but enjoy some quiet drinks with friends every now and then. Please send me a message if you think you would be a good fit, looking forward to finding the right place.
I work part time in hospo and I’m a student . I’m clean and private, but also like to hang out and have a drink & a chat. I love cooking and would be more than happy to cook you a meal (I’m a proud vegan and will make you love vegan food whoever you are).
Ill be moving to Melbourne early February from Perth. I'm a registered nurse and will be starting my masters in Monash. Looking for a room to rent with laid back and chill housemates.
Hi I'm Steph and my little old pup is Boogy, I am moving back to Melbourne for my last year of uni. I work as a barista while I am finishing my finance studies at RMIT. I am pretty active and love to get Boog out for a walk every day, I also love me some wine and delicious food. I am a very tidy person and like my down time when I can get it. Boogy is 14 years old and loves cuddles and attention, he does have heart problems which slow him down a little but he is a happy little pup that I have had his whole life. We would love to find other dog lovers to live with and share some wine!
Dan and I are both very friendly, easy going people. We are not party-animals but will enjoy the occasional drink. We often spend our friday nights binging netflix. We are both clean and respectful. We have one very cute foster cat who comes with our package deal. She is shy and will mostly hang out in our bedroom. Dan works full time in the CBD and I am a full time student in my third year at Deakin in Burwood, studying arts/secondary teaching. We are both vegetarians but aren't bothered about our housemates preferred diet :-)
I am a pretty chilled guy who loves drinking coffee, listening to music and hanging out with friends. I'd like to think I am pretty open minded and so I am always up for chats about anything (including any problems in the house). I've just moved to Melbourne from Sydney for study and I'm looking for a place to stay long term. I have just finished up a job in Sydney at a pathology lab but I am hoping to pick up part-time work here pretty quickly. Whilst I'll spend a bit of time studying, I am always keen for a few beers here and there and I enjoy heading out for a good boogie. If I seem like someone you could live with I'd love to meet you for an interview!

I am looking for a quiet place but full of energy...I am looking for more than a room, a place that can be my home, to share with my housemates or flatmates in harmony and have good conversations and laughs is very important to me :) I looking to live whit a girl o two, to share good moment and the room must be furnished please ;) Cheers
Looking for somewhere where I have space to study but also to live with someone who doesn't mind the occasional chat and drink. I coach gymnastics part time and studying aviation management full time at Swinburne.
I am an IT professional working Monday to Friday 9 to 5 and looking for a new house to have my quiet evenings. I like to chat and get to know my housemate(s) but also respect personal space and like to keep the house and kitchen clean but not a clean freak.
I'm pretty introverted and I don't drink. I spend a lot of time reading, so if you want a quiet housemate, I'm your man. I'm taking some time off from work this autumn to pick up a few new skills. I can pay my rent on time, and I'll pick up my share of the housework. I don't drive because I'm epileptic, though, so I'd much prefer to live near public transport.
