Hey! I am Will, I have lived in Brisbane all my life. I am a professional, working full time for a University and studying post-grad on the side. I am incredibly clean, slightly OCD with my space and love minimalist living. I am looking for a place to share with someone, but I'm not in a rush - finding a beautiful space with the right type of person is key, so I would like to catch up for coffee with any potential flatmates before making that decision. I'm into fitness, the coast and beach lifestyle, great coffee and bottomless mimosa breakfasts.
I'm a relaxed, friendly and (i think) pretty funny guy from Sydney, moving up to Brisbane for work on Feb 18th (unfortunately still in Sydney until this date!). I'm really into music, I love going to gigs and i make electronic music as a hobby. I enjoy watching sports and (for lack of a better term) Mind-fuckey movies. I like to stay pretty healthy (exercise regularly, eat reasonably cleanly) and I will clean up after myself. Reasons to pick me: 1. You'll have a New South Welshman handy to make fun of when QLD inevitably wins another origin 2. Pretty much always down for a beer 3. Tall, will be able to reach high places and condescendingly pat you on the head 4. Cooks a decent spag bol
Hi, I'm a town planning / law graduate and am 25 yrs old. I grew up on the Northern NSW Coast and in Brisbane. I got back from overseas about a 3 months ago and have just got a new job as a consultant (property) and am looking for a new place. I am an easy going, relaxed, clean and respectful person. I enjoy a beer and a laugh on the weekend with friends and am quite sociable. I like to stay active, and enjoy the outdoors, particularly the beach. I like to live a healthy lifestyle. Thanks, Lachie
Hiyaaaa I'm currently looking for a new place to move into around February preferably in the Southbank/City/West End area. I'm an audio engineering/music production student at JMC so I'm real keen to move somewhere in close vicinity to there! I've literally just come back to Australia after being overseas for a couple months and came home to clean/move out of my old sharehouse the night I arrived back (woooo what a way to come home after 30+ hours of travelling!) I'm a very relaxed and easy going roomie who enjoys socializing and having a drink or hang with the roomies but I also do enjoy my own time and privacy! I'm hoping to get a place with maybe 1 or 2 other people, but could be open to living in a bigger household- my last place was with 5 others and whilst I loved them all and we fun lil times, it did sometimes take a toll hahah. I'm reeeeeaal into my music so would be ideal to live with people who share that love and enjoy going along to gigs and what not during the week. If any of this sparked your interest, hit me up! Bree
Hello my name is Benjamin though I go by Ben I'm from Tulsa Oklahoma in America. Am a recent college graduate. Am on a work holiday visa. Will be in Brisbane in March and need a place to stay.
Hi there I'm a 30 year old working professional relocating from Canada to work for Virgin mid February. I'm super outgoing and social but also love a quiet night at home with a nice bottle of wine. Because I'm relocating and will not have a car, I'm looking to live in a neighbourhood that is very accessible by public transit.
This is where I need to list all my qualities to make myself as awesome as possible right? Well, let’s be honest then... because that’s where it starts. I’m looking for a room yes but not just.. a place i call home 🙂 I think that you have to feel comfortable with the people you live with, you need to have things in commun because going home should be something you look forward to. It has to be your little safe place. That’s why i’d like to meet with people before I commit. I am working in hospitality which takes most of my time. I’m very respectful of others’s privacy as i’d like them to be. I love quality time and this means a bit of piece & quiet but also sharing time with others. I’m tidy in my own space but respect that others might not be as much 😄. I’m not vegetarian and i might have a smoke from time to time but never at home. I’m not judgmental. I like to listen to music, a lot, I like to be out and try new things, I like to be a part of a community and share things with others. During my days off I would either sleep in or be out, try to learn surf, go out, have a drink, meet with people, go to the beach or anything outside! I’m a very passionate person and very honest too. I can say that i’m a pretty cool person to live with yes 🙂 Easy going and understanding. Good listener and can chat a lot too sometimes ahah I looooove animals even tho I don’t have any. I value a lot of things in life and if we don’t agree on everything it does not mean we can’t live together, it is call acceptation. Peaceful and happy person, I need to be surrounded by good vibes & drama free people! I will be moving from Brisbane beginning of Feb and will work close to the Lighthouse. No car & long days so looking for a place not too far. But consider further north or south because planning to buy a car.
Hi! I'm Jess 😊 I work full-time in the city as a graduate chemical engineer doing customer eexperience in a tech startup. I'm pretty flexible on location, but if you're located in an inner city suburb, hit me up! I am looking for a private, unfurnished room with either on or off street parking for my car. I'm super clean and easy going, love to go to the beach, ride horses or anything outdoorsy. I love to walk to work whenever possible, go to the gym and be social on weekends!
Howdy! I am looking to move out of home. I'm 23-years-old, friendly, respecful and looking to experience independance. Feel free to message me if you want to know more, as im eager to move out!
Hey guys, my names Jess and as of next month (mid Feb) I will be moving to Byron Bay & i'm super excited :) I am looking for a share house accommodation within 20km's approx. of Byron so happy to live as far out as Ocean Shores. A bit about me - i'm 28 and have been working/living in Melbourne for the last year. I will be studying my yoga teacher training in Byron for a year part time and will be working too. I'm a very easy going/chilled, love all things wine, cheese, cooking, reading, watching weird documentaries and love to be social with gigs, dinner out and outdoorsy adventures when I can! I'm a big traveler at heart but with my year in Byron I hope to explore much more of the area. I love sharing with like minded people and hope to make some good friends from my housemates. Anything more about me - please just ask away.... :)
Hey there, I'm currently studying at UQ while working part-time and am looking to move in with a bunch of friendly 20-somethings around the end of January/beginning of February. Very easy to live with! I'm a clean and tidy type of person. I also love to bake - so if you like brownies you're in for a treat!
Easy going, open-minded guy, always up for a surf, outdoor activities, good laugh and couple of drinks. Clean and tidy, well-organised. Been living down under for over 4 years, always sharing the place with others so always trying to be the most respectful and friendly as possible.
Hi! I'm currently seeking to rent an unfurnished room close to the city, with parking (essential). Looking at a 6 month lease just in case we don't work together but would be more than happy to stay longer if we do :) I'll be starting a post graduate certificate in business at QUT (Gardens Point) in the new year so I will be partly studying and working. I'm looking to move in with people who are around a similar age to me, students or not but no couples, sorry! As a roommate I enjoy a balance between having my own time and also getting to know my roommates, over drinks, movie nights etc :) *I can also provide unlimited internet if needed
I'm a 3rd Year engineering student at QUT with a small part time job on the side. I mostly work and study during the weeks but I like to hang out and adventure on the weekends, trying out new bars, and recently started getting into sport. I clean up after myself, and I am considerate of noise and of other peoples spaces.
I'm an empath with strong boundaries, mindful and open minded, and love people in general. My 3 children (2 boys aged 15 and 12 and a girl aged 13) are wiser than their years, having been exposed to the deprivations of living in a 3rd world country and are in general respectful of others' sensitivities. We have 2 tabby cats that are well behaved and love able. We are looking to either share or have an affordable living arrangement with house sitting tasks, while I complete an important research and development project (which at this stage doesn't earn me a lot of money! but gives me a great sense of satisfaction in terms of providing service to others).
I work remotely as a full time project manager for a start up, so I have a stable income and I can be around during the day to receive your packages and grocery deliveries so you don't have to visit the post office or Coles. I have recently returned to Brisbane after living overseas in Cambodia, Nepal and Kenya for several years so I have many entertaining stories to tell. I'm house trained and I make a delicious hedgehog slice. My hobbies include boozy brunches, free concerts and sitting under a tree and reading.
Hi, I am a 23 year old Biomedical Science Student studying at QUT. I also work part time for the Blood Service, so I am often leaving the house early and coming home late. I like spending time at the beach, seeing live music, trying new cafes, and I love animals. I'm looking for a tidy, comfortable, and safe place that I could share with someone who is easy going and considerate. A great room mate is top of my list! But I would love air-con and maybe my own bathroom
I recently started my full-time job as a radiographer at a hospital in Chermside (I graduated from QUT at the end of 2017). I'm 21 and from Toowoomba originally (but have rented in Brisbane for the last 4 years). I'm looking for a 2-3 bedroom place with friendly housemates, that’s easy to maintain and keep tidy (probably preferably a townhouse or apartment). I will be doing a lot of shift work (late nights, weekends and on call) throughout the year and so would like a place with 1-2 girls/boys who are also are studying/working, would be keen to occasionally chill/ have a drink but also enjoy time alone to unwind and are cool with me being out of the house a lot. I'd be keen to move into an existing sharehouse or find somewhere new with you (I have a fridge, couches, dryer, etc I could bring to the place). Feel free to shoot me a message if you're interested (my current lease ends 30 Jan, hoping to find somewhere before then). Thanks!
I like living in an environment that is inspiring and inviting. I can cook, having worked in kitchens during and following High School for a few years. These handy skills prove their worth. My cleaning skills are above par, also. The kitchen when I have finished looks as good as it can... Kitchenhand skills... I like Gardens...and well-kept external areas...and am more than happy to assist with yard maintenance. ...I like researching topics of interest to the extent that I become quite versed on specifics, even before I have stepped out my front door. This goes for most things of great interest to me, which includes Travel... For over 4 Years I have been teaching myself the art of Financial Markets Trading. As a 'Chartist' - (Technical Analyst), I identify signals, trends (reversals and continuations) within the scope of the market... This includes timeframes from minutes...to days, weeks and months...This is something for my personal time. I will be taking this to the next level in the coming months. I started in Shares...and migrated to other financial instruments following 6 months of concerted effort. My journey continues... 2018 represents a 'coming together' on several levels for me personally...and professionally. My return to Brisbane will take place as part of a Greater Plan. Upon my return I will commence immediately with a Finance Company as a Broker / Assistant to Director. I will be working with a former associate on a 'Start Up'. This business will take up all of my working week, including some evenings for related meetings, et cetera. All of this means I will be diligently involved with personal and professional pursuits that shall allow me to confidently commit to a share house experience for a time that is suitable and beneficial to us both. (I would prefer a place with just one other resident) I Shall place great value on the undertaking of such pursuits as required - both professional and personal. And, when time is available for reflection on the hard work endured to successfully complete the week, I will most likely be the first to turn off...and, tune out!
