We are a young couple who both work full time - Morgan works shift work in hotel reception & Chris is a carpenter. We are both net & tidy, friendly and relaxed & easy going people.
I'm starting work at the Cairns Hospital in February 2017, and have a year-long contract. I'm looking for a chill house to call home where I can get away from the hustle and bustle of the hospital at the end of the day. During my time off, I'm really keen to make the most of what nature has to offer while I'm here. Other hobbies include music (will practise my viola in my room from time to time, and a house with other musicians is an instant plus), board games, Magic The Gathering, going to see live bands, or Netflix and junk food. I will do my bit to keep public spaces clean. Not one to bring in the loud parties, but would be down to join in if one is already happening! Part of my work will involve nights and shiftwork, so more than happy to respect and work around a fellow shift worker.
I am a shift worker at RAAF Base Townsville so I would be home & away at weird times. I go away from locality every now and then for work but am always excited to get back home. I am a non-smoker & am very respectful of other peoples privacy, belongings etc. Always keen for a beer though :)
I am a New Zealander moving to Cairns at the start of February! I am looking for accommodation, ideally a flatting situation. I am a marine biologist so I will spend a fair amount of time diving and fishing. I am clean and easy going and would like to live with some fun people who want to get out and do things!
Moving in feb to Cairns, will be living with family until i get a steady job to move out with, have been employed my whole life, super bubbly. usually at the gym, or listening to music, not a smoker. not much of a party girl but i'm very respectful, i love to listen to music and explore! pets are no issue i love them. only desired thing is off street parking and furnished room as i have a brand new car and i'm moving from SA with no furniture!
Clean, neat and tidy, friendly, easy to get along with. Lived in cairns since birth so know the area well. 26. Don't mind a cocktail and quite social at times 😝 During the week is busy for me so probably don't want someone who parties 7 nights a week. Work full time at a Bank. Would prefer to find somewhere in town and not too far out. I normally like to dec my places out with nicely so if you're ok with that then great 😁 I have some furniture but have left some behind so will need to buy more. Would prefer a unit but house is fine.
Hello! I am from California and here in Australia on a Work and Holiday Visa. I just recently arrived to Cairnd from Bondi Beach and will be seeking a furnished room to move into asap. I'm clean, responsible and always respectful of other roommates. I am not interested in moving into a party house, but I am always keen for chill nights in with a few drinks. I am also looking to move into an all female-flat, however I would be open to one that is mixed.
Hi There! I am a solo lady traveler who is coming to Cairns to work as a scuba instructor for the summer. I am almost 28 years old and very well versed in manners/ tidiness/ respect and am also a great friend. I love animals, all of them but especially dogs, and I am a very active, outdoorsy person and plan on spending most of my time diving the beautiful Barrier Reef, hiking up through the rainforests, or just simple hanging on the beach. I am looking for a quiet, furnished private room with a maximum of 2 other flatmates as I like a chill home environment. I get along great with guys and girls and hope to make a friend out of my flatmate(s)!
Hey, I'm a full time Barista in town. Looking to move closer for work. I like to keep busy when I'm not working by going on day trips, coffee shops, beaching and more. I've lived in share houses before and I'm always conscientious towards my flat mates.
My name is Olivia, I am 23 years old and will be studying paramedics and working. I live a healthy life style (don't smoke, take drugs) but do not frown upon a party. I am very easy going and social but know when to respect my own and other peoples personal space. I tend to try to steer clear of any drama or cattiness. I always clean up after myself and respect other peoples belongings - I have lived out of home for 4 years now. I would be looking to move at the start of February - please contact me if you think I'm your kind of person. I love all animals and am always up for a beer and chat.

Hi! I'm moving to Cairns for work from Feb 6 and looking for a place to live. I'm from Adelaide originally but am currently living in Brisbane. I'm a friendly and tidy person who respects privacy and people's space, and like to live with people who are occasionally up for a chat! I'll be working full time largely during weekdays. Please send me a message if you're looking for someone.
I'm a relaxed individual, I study a lot so I'm usually at school, up castle hill, swimming at the strand or kayaking along the river. Love being healthy but equally well joy the sinful days bring bad too. Ha!! I'm really flexible and enjoy a glass of wine with my house mates but understand privacy .. I don't party but enjoy having friends around sometimes ... 😊
Hi, I'm a full time member of the Air Force, 28 years of age, I'm clean, quiet and don't cause much fuss, I like my sport, fitness, reading, travel and being outdoors. Enjoy a social drink, although nothing excessive. I'm also a non smoker. I'd be looking for at least 6 months stay with potential to stay on. Interested in this location being so close to town offering the beach lifestyle. Thank you in advance, Edward.
Cairns local for 18 years and starting my first year at JCU studying environmental science full-time after finishing a gap year working for Biosecurity Queensland. I try and spend my free time outdoors either on my bike, hiking, fishing, camping or anything that gets me out under the sun. I don't smoke or drink and I'm keen to find a place where everyone respects common cleaning etiquette. I'm more than happy to help out in the garden and general home maintenance and I'm not half bad at cooking. I don't have any strict daily routines so I'm quite flexible outside of study/work hours and early rising housemates would be a bonus. I enjoy doing my own thing both in and out of the house but I'm quite sociable and enjoy learning from other people's experiences and skills which I often find invaluable and rewarding.
Hey there! I'm Laura from Germany and starting to study my masters in marine biology at JCU in February. I am an easy going, tidy and open minded person and lived already in shared flats in Germany and Brazil. I love the outdoors, food, water sports and hanging out with friends. But I also like evenings at home with a good book or a glass of wine with my flatmates. I prefer living together and sharing some time (in between studying or working of course) instead of just living next to each other. Also I would need a furnished room and the closer to uni the better :) I enjoy cooking (and eating!) and can teach you some German or Portuguese if you like ;) I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi! I'm moving to Australia for a year from the UK this January! I'm looking forward to a bit of sunshine. I'll be working full time at Townsville hospital and am looking for somewhere within easy walking/ cycling distance and preferably furnished. I'm a happy and fun person. I love the outdoors and in my spare time I will be looking to explore the area. I've always lived with flatmates and I'm tidy and clean to live with - happy to help around the house.
Hello! I am a health professional from Brisbane coming to Cairns for a full-time contract until June 2017 at Cairns Hospital. Looking for something walking distance from the hospital as I will not have a car. Friendly, easy-going and neat/tidy. Enjoy being outdoors, exploring and dancing.
I am a full time shift worker who just received my posting to Townsville, I am very tidy and neat and would like to rent with people who are the same. I'm pretty Social and get along with mostly everyone. Don't have any pets , don't smoke ,
Me and my boyfriend are looking for an accommodation. We will be in working holiday, but most in working than in holiday during our stay in Cairns. Then we want to do a roadtrip. We are out going and open to opportunities and discovering new things. We are easy to live with and are a carefree couple (in positive way of course we are not careless at all). Currently my boyfriend is waiter, and I'm an art student. Finally I forgot to tell that we are french, but we are able to speak english without problem!
My name is Joshua Veale and I have recently finished school and currentley undergoing a traineeship in the cairns CBD and looking for a room that I can live in throughout this traineeship and hopefully through university in the following years.
Please note before reading that there must be good working Internet available from the room you are letting, or the ability for me to get broadband connected! This is because I work from home as a social media consultant and online marketer. I am currently looking for a place to live in Port Douglas. I am self employed and work from home as a social media manager. I am quiet and respectful of other peoples space. I am also bubbly and love people, but I do spend a great deal of time working and studying. I am looking for: * A place I can call home :) * A place where I can work from home...mainly from my bedroom (though I do like finding good cafes to work from :) * Good working internet from my bedroom (this is really important as its my livelihood) * A home which is quiet and respectful, but also friendly * In a quiet and safe area (no noisy neighbours) * Friendly person (people) to share with who likes a conversation but respect each others space (I do spend a lot of time to myself due to my work) * Prefer to live with females...or at least one female within the household (or a respectful male) * A drama free household. I am really not into heavy drinking, parties or late nights, although I do enjoy socialising in Port. I love to cook veggie food and make raw foods, so I nice kitchen would be great. I also love nature, walks, the beach, creating art and enjoying the small things in life. :)
What makes me great to live with? maybe the fact that I don't want to tell you what does!! I always keep an open mind, treating everyone I with whom I cross paths, with the same respect that I'll treat the next. I've spent most of my years in the ocean, but as of the past two years I've mangled the structure of my shoulder, to the point that I can no longer surf -- so I'm filling my time instead with things that might keep my mind off that TERRIBLE, GUT-WRENCHING, TRAGIC HINDRANCE! I'm from the south west and Perth region(s) of WA and ever since I can recall, I've strived to become the most relaxed, self-motivated guy that I know. I spent some time in Perth for university, but upon completion of my first year of physiotherapy, discovered that my passion was elsewhere, and that I had weaved myself into far too many social circles on that odd little coastal plain. Hence, I've upped stakes, sold what I owned, wriggled my way into an environmental science course at JCU, and am now about a third of the way up the eastern coastline, continuing to expand my bank of experience and preparing myself for a three or four year stretch at uni... P.S. I bring with me guitars and other (pleasant!) noises that I want to start taking seriously, so you need only to let me know, should a separate rehearsal space be required. Underlying all this, I just wanna end each day with a smile on my face, and having made a positive contribution to the restoration of global nation! P.P.S., I'm actually pretty tidy, I've often surprised myself with the occasional show of culinary finesse, and I'm always conscious of what I consume.
I have never lived with anyone before and I am just wanting a clean and comfortable place to live but cannot afford this on my own. I work full time 5 days a week and mainly just bake and watch tv shows in my spare time. Looking for someone clean, nice and reasonable. Happy to move into a share house preferably not over 3 people total. Or find an amazing person and find our own place to live.
My lease runs out in January and would really prefer to live very close to The CBD. I work 48 hours a week so I like to let loose on weekends and go out and socialise. Mostly keep to my own room but have no problems socialising with room mates. Have shared apartments with people from similar sites for the last year so I know what it's about. I also like a nice clean living space but am not a clean freak by any means. If you don't mind a social drink on the weekend we will get along well.
I will be moving states soon (from Adelaide) to begin my first full-time job after studying. I arrive on the 22nd of February. I am in the health care industry, so will be doing shift work. Im clean, tidy and organised. Im pretty relaxed, and generally keep to myself, although don't mind a chat! Either looking for a short-term room to rent until I can find my feet and figure out a place to live, or if it works well something more long term.
