Hi there, I'm 24 years old, LGBT+ friendly, nerd and looking for a room to rent as I am moving to the ACT to work. I am fairly social but mostly like to keep to myself. I am clean and I prefer quiet drinks, going to national parks hiking/camping or gaming over partying. I love all animals and will happily help out with your pets :) If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
Clean and tidy, quiet and keep to myself mostly. I work full time in the public service. I enjoy a drink or two down at the pub and going out to watch local bands. Looking for a simple, no fuss living situation.
Hi, moving to Canberra from the country for a lifestyle change. Professionally i am in the Electrical and Instrumentation trades, and have secured a job in Canberra, but just need a place to hang my hat to learn the city, trial the job and if all goes well, move up with my family. Outside of work, i am an avid musician and play in a working band (Based out of Cooma with gigs in Canberra and other country areas), playing guitar and piano. My real passion lies here, and another huge part of why id like to be closer or in a city! I am pretty easy to get along with, i am quiet, conscientious and clean up after myself - no problems helping out around the place if need be. Most of the time outside of work hours, if i am not studying or practicing (unplugged) music, i will be out exploring the city, or heading back home for the weekend
I’m quiet clean and respect the people around me. I’m a 23 year old with a shoodle named Xavier. His an inside dog who’s toilet trained. I’m studying and working part time at a childcare at the Woden hospital. I’m incredibly quite, shy and I guess if you were to ask people to describe me it would be; nerdy, too kind and bubbly. It takes a bit for me to warm up to people but when I do it’s like you’ve known me for years. I’ve only ever share houses once and it was a nightmare so I’m looking for someone who is clean, respects privacy and hopefully I can form a great friendship with. I’m creative and love a good tv series (game of thrones, Rick and morty, the Orville, Brooklyn nine nine) just to name a few. For fun I like to draw, Netflix, play with my dog, or go get a massage. I only have a few friends and keep to myself. I love to travel and will be heading to Africa in July.
Hi, my name is Ngaihung and i am looking for a share house in Canberra. I am working part time in construction. I am looking for a quiet, clean, respectful and friendly place. I always pay rent on time and always take pride in keeping my room tidy.
I am a quiet and tidy mother of a teenager and we need a place to live in peace. We don't own animals, although we love them and we are focused on our goals. My son, Samuel, is in year 10 right now and he will be going to Erindale college next year because he is passionate about sports and health. I am working in childcare because I enjoy being around children and I am passionate about literacy and education. As a single mum, with no support, I need a place I can afford. I will be very grateful to hear from you, Kind regards, Virginia Moreno.
I want to take a lease and co-rent a share house, preferably in Conder, Banks or Gordon. I'm a news journalist, pool lifeguard and swimming instructor. I want to share a house with one or more compatible people where I can also host my 17-year old twins a few nights a week as they tackle their final year of school studies - Year 12. I'm very sociable but well versed in the sensitivities and courtesies of communal living, love a laugh (especially current affairs satire) and the occasional quiet drink. Plus outdoor adventure sports and my South Coast beach haven... but this year is mostly about being in Canberra to help my wonderful kids steer their way to their best options for the future.
I have share housed in many places before, I like cooking don’t mind bogging into a group cook up. I clean up after myself and I am focused on my studies so and my own business so I’m quiet.
Hi, My name is Elise. I currently live in Melbourne, however I am looking to move to Canberra in the near future as I've met some new friends there and generally find the peacefulness of the capital appealing. To tell you a bit about myself, I'll start off by saying that I'm a 22 year old MtF transgender woman, meaning I am looking for housemates who are accepting of the LGBTQIA+ community. For work, I currently run a home IT business that makes me a reliable income for living in Melbourne. Upon moving to Canberra however, my first priority will be to get a job as I am not sure of the reliability of the income from my current job once the location has shifted. For the time period in which I will be looking for work, I have $5,000 saved up which would go towards paying rent and any bills until I have a steady income again. My hobbies include gaming, cooking, music and being around friends. Since I'm naturally a quiet person, I don’t think that anyone would have any issues with me being too loud around the house. Preferably my room would have space for a desk in addition to a double bed so that I could game from my bedroom, therefore not disturbing anyone else. I wouldn’t be a troublemaker in any sense of the word; I avoid drama and do not have any bad habits such as taking drugs or smoking. Due to past experiences, I would prefer to live with people who identify as female as I am not quite as comfortable around males. Due to the nature of my work and hobbies, houses that have NBN would be great, but it's not a necessity! I'm also happy to help cook for the house; especially if the kitchen is pleasant to be in. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask! Thank you for your time, Elise
I am tidy & like to keep to myself. I like to have none - minimal mess and always clean up after myself. I’m open minded and easy to get along and talk with. I am reliable, trustworth and pay all my bills on time. I love animals so I have no issues if you have pets, I like a good chat but also respect space and privacy.
1x female, 1x sphynx, 1x alexandrine parrot, & 1x cockatiel looking for a new housemate. All four of us are pretty well housetrained and the animals are strictly indoors. I am a homebody. looking for big bedroom with built in wardrobe, my own bathroom and my own secure car spot. Living with a sphynx, and birds is spending a lot of time making sure you shut the door behind you so they cant get outside. Ideally I am looking for someone able to comply with this one requirement. I am really easy going otherwise. Currently living in a 3brm townhouse on our own which is nice but we are on the move because the house is for sale.
I am a full time professional , non smoker, and non alcoholic and friendly , peaceful. looking for temporary share house from 21/02 to 21/04, so it's for 2 months only. I would love to interact with people occasionally, and want my own personal space as well. Early morning to 5 or 6 or 7 pm I will be busy at work. In the evening I might cook a meal, or meal for two, three times. I would be respecting your privacy and give your share of space as well. Ideally, looking for furnished/unfurnished bedrooms in Tuggeranong. Budget is $150 to $180 , depending on how a deal is described. I am not willing to pay bonds as it's only temporary accomodation.
Hey, my name is Jamie and I'll be studying in Canberra. I'm easygoing and more than happy to help around the house. I enjoy cooking, photography, and working out. I like going out but prefer Netflix and a heavy doona most nights. So far this is sounding very cliche so I may as well double-down and cover all my bases by stating that I'm looking for a fun but relaxed; open but cosy; quiet but adventurous place to live. To be honest, I'm quiet and respectful and I'm looking for a place that matches.
Hello there potential future housemate/s. My name is Jake and I am looking for a room to move into in a friendly and welcoming house. I work part time at a nursing home and soon will be studying part time as well so I will be out of the house a fair bit. I have many interests, I enjoy cooking, sports, cartoons, games, movies, books, animals, arts, gardening, fashion, music and bike riding. I love animals and I have one dog who I want to live with me. I know this means that my options will be limited because most places don't allow dogs but I'm willing to wait until I find the right place because my dogs means a lot to me. If you have a room in a place where a dog would be acceptable or you are interested in looking for a place like together, I would love to hear from you!

I’m a very kind, friendly person. I’m very clean and very quiet. I’m a makeup artist in the city. Love to go on hikes and walks, hang out with friends, dance and being creative. I’m just looking for a room to rent, a house to rent within Canberra.
I'm a friendly open-minded vegetarian/ non-smoking mature aged full time Uni student studying music. I'll also be looking at getting some work. I'm originally from Canberra, I mostly just do music. Looking for a secure place with reliable unlimited internet (as I study online).
Highly educated, great communicator, respectful, considerate, easy going, tidy and clean, love fitness and coffee. I believe that one of the best things about living in a share-home is the people you meet and the new experiences you are exposed to. Cheers!
