Hi! I'm a happy and tidy kiwi, moved here 10 months ago from Wellington. Loving everything that Melbourne has to offer so far! I'm an early childhood teacher, so I'm quite patient and easy going. I love all things food, cooking, health & fitness (particularly yoga) and travel. I enjoy living an active and balanced lifestyle but always keen for a few drinks over the weekend. What makes me a good housemate? >clean & tidy but not OCD >will respect your privacy >can cook (almost everything) >enjoy a good chat & laugh >will bring a positive vibe I believe your vibe attracts your tribe, so I'd like to live with likeminded person/people. If you have any questions feel free to ask me, I look forward to talking to you soon. Cheers, Channa
Hey Flatmates! Jarrah is working full time in Dandenong as a research chemist; he enjoys photography and spending time on his family's farm near Warragul. Radha is finishing his final semester at Monash University before starting professional work, but is an avid snowboarder and amateur bass guitar player. We both lead active lives, are easy going and are looking for 1-2 other people that we can get along with and share a 3-4 bedroom house with. We have both had 1+ yr experience in shared houses and value housemates that are generally clean and respectful, but enjoy shared cooking and having a laugh. If you're interested, we'd be happy to have a chat and get to know you. Cheers, Jarrah and Radha
Hello, I'm Tika, 28. I'm coming to Melbourne to work full time for 6 months in Mount Waverley as a supporting teacher. I'm tidy, clean, fun, easy going, sociable, respectful, and quiet person. I've lived in a shared house for many years. I highly respect people privacy and space. But I'm always up for a chat and make friends. I like to go out every now and then for grabbing a drink, socializing, and dancing. I'm looking for an accommodation near train stations which have Glen Waverley line. But I don't mind to combine transportation (Tram and train). Furnished and private room is a must. I'm looking forward to hearing from you :)
Heya!! I have been studying in Melbourne for a year after moving down from Bega (yes where the cheese comes from). I am studying an Fine Arts degree at VCA. I am pretty quiet and like my own space, but I enjoy hanging out, and I like to bake desserts, so you can expect loads of Brownies, cakes, muffins ect. My hobbies are kinda geeky, I like anime, video games, magic the gathering, and of course art and art history. I have lived in large share houses (10 people), but really would prefer a smaller house. A lease or rental agreement is essential.
I’m Chloë and I'm 22 and studying nutrition science at Deakin in Burwood. I'm looking to move into a sharehouse and am easy going, tidy and respectful! I'm into health, fitness and food and enjoy cooking and filling my wardrobe with clothes I don't need.
Hi there! I am looking for a long-term accomondation (minimum 3 months) for a couple. Here is a bit information about us: * We are a young couple in our late 20s. Tina is a software engineer and works full time in the city. Summer is a full-time PhD researcher at Monash University --well, he prefers to be called as a PhD researcher rather than a PhD student as he is paid by the Uni for his research - fair enough ;-) And he works part-time for the Uni as Research Assistant & Teach Assistant. * Places near a train station and Monash University Clayton Campus will be perfect for us. Tina commutes to the City every weekday for her 9am-5pm work and she mainly relies on the trains. Summer usually drives but sometimes he cycles to Monash to catch up some exercises. * We need a clean and quiet place. We always enjoy living and chilling out with our housemates. We always clean after ourselves and would expect the same from our housemates. After daily work, Tina usually spends some time on Coursera or reading, so does Summer. * References are available upon request. All our housemates/house owners that we have lived with are happy give a reference. Please let me know if you need one. * We can move NOW. The current house owner allows us to stay as long as we need to find the next place. The reason why we are moving is that we need to give the bedroom to the little boy who started school last month and he wants "independence and privacy" :-D * We don't have kids or pets. But we are quite comfortable to live with kids or pets. Summer actually is a dog lover. * We are caring people and are keen to share chores in/around the place. We are keen to do gardening and cleaning jobs. Summer helped on renovation projects with our previous house owners before. He is comfortable with power tools and machinery - he even holds a forklift ticket... * Our budget is somewhere around $200 per week for a couple. We are open to negotiation. It definitely depends on the location and condition of the accommodation. Inspection and a chat with our housemates are necessary for us to make a decision. * We speak English and Chinese/Mandarin. Please feel free to shoot a message if need more info :-) Cheers, Tina & Summer

I'm an enthusiastic person who's keen to be a responsible flat-mate but also a fun and friendly one, too! I study part-time and work part-time. I study French and Spanish at Melbourne Uni and work as a waiter. I also volunteer at a community media organisation where I am a radio presenter on Australia's only national radio show for LGBTQIA+ youth, and I also write reviews! I try to live a fairly balanced lifestyle which includes socialising, study, exercising and just down time. I also play piano. I have a digital piano which I would like to have in my new place. I try to play a few times a week, but I am able to play with headphones in so it does not bother others. I grew up in Melbourne, and I am keen to live with like-minded people.
I’m from Thailand. I was a System Engineer for 5 years’ experience at IBM. I came to Melbourne for study IELTS/EAP to prepare for Master in the next coming year. I study in the morning and work part-time as a waitress. I'm a sociable person, keen to meet new friends as I am new in town. I consider my self easy going, neat and tidy and also down-to-earth. Openminded to learn international cultures and languages. I though I'd be your co-traveller, unless you want me to :) I like taking photograph, I probably give you pretty shots in return. I’m a sport lover. Enjoy yoga, tennis ,golf , long walk and even for outdoor activity. Can definitely have play time and catch up for a conversation during meals or my spare time. I like trying good food, good coffee and grab couple glasses of wine at bar. **PS. I'm looking for any room type in suburbs, 1 hr or less to the city by public-transport is preferable. It would be nice to have many people in house.
I am an easy going guy with a laid-back attitude. I love to have a conversation whenever possible but I also respect personal space. Not a cleanliness freak but I like to look after my home. I love beers and like meeting new people.
Tidy, quiet and friendly. I'm studying Osteopathy and in my final year. I also work part time at a retail store blowing up balloons. Most of the time I will be out working/studying but when I'm around I'm respectful of peoples space. I also am happy to help around the house and pick up my share of the chores. Ideally bills would be included in the rent. Happy to negotiate. :)

I am a working professional from Adelaide, who is moving to Melbourne permanently to start my career. I'm looking for a place near work and near the uni as I plan to continue with my masters. I graduated from Monash, having studied Biomedical Science and currently work as a Sleep Technician at Victorian Rehabilitation Centre. I am easy going and generally quiet but always up for a chat.
Hi I'm Jay, currently working as a Community Support Worker and studying nursing at university. I'm originally from Perth, but have moved to Melbourne to work and study. I am neat and quiet, and will be working/studying most of the time. Looking to find a place urgently.
I am currently studying full time at Swinburne University, when I'm stressed I love to cook, and listening to music to take my mind off things. I mostly keep to myself and love to just chill on the weekends. Since I came from a big family, I don't mind noises. I enjoy a good company with a couple of beers and just hang out with friends.
I love talking, reading and doing stuff! Work on lots of little projects from selling dog toys at markets, to learning Chinese, to building electronic hardware! Love the hipster lifestyle so coffee and brunch and all things inner city Melbourne are good.
