Hi! I'm Michelle. I'm 31 and am currently working as a property manager in the South Yarra. During the weeks I take it pretty easy, sometimes catching up with friends and going to the gym. On the weekends (if I'm not working) I like to occasionally go out to a bar or pub for a few drinks, catching up with family or just relaxing. I consider myself to be a really laid back person, friendly, social but I also like my own space every now and then. I'm a pretty clean and tidy person but not over the top about it. I currently live in another share house but my housemate is moving in with her boyfriend. The date I can move in can be flexible. I would love somewhere with my own bathroom. Parking is a must. If there isn't off street parking, I need to be able to park my car somewhere near by on the street. I currently pay $1100 a month and am looking to not pay too much more than that : )
My name is Felicity Campbell, I'm 23 years old and I'm heading back to uni next year to start my masters degree. I currently reside on the Mornington peninsula so I'm searching for a place closer to the city. When I'm not studying I'm working part time as a bartender in Richmond. I'm fun, I'm friendly and super easy going. I'm considerate and respectful of others and I know how to keep a house clean and tidy.
I'm clean, not a piss pot and do the dishes when I use them. I'm on the left of things and identify as a socialist, although I am not involved in any organisation at present. I like having political conversations if you want to, otherwise happy to discuss the tennis or your fave band. Always ready for a bit of fun but place high value on my chill time. Can cook, but sometimes the results are interesting.
Hi! I am a busy professional, GM of a company, so work long hours and travel a lot. I am very much a home body and like to chill when not working. I like privacy and will generally keep to myself, but also like a chat or relax watching tv. Cleanliness is important to me, as is respect for each other. Looking for a room with space, ensuite, and car spot. Prefer to live with just one flatmate. Looking to move just after Xmas 16.
I'm a bit of an arty farty chick who is currently studying Advertising at RMIT. I have a concerning obsession with Japanese food and Instagram. I also love a bit of banter and go crazy over art, music, food and photography. I'm originally from The Sunshine Coast (QLD) so I'm always very keen to meet new, like minded people!
Myself and my friend are coming to Melbourne on Jan 14. We both have completed engineering. We both are looking rooms at an affordable amount. We both are jovial and adaptable to any situation.
Hey! I'm a relaxed 20 y/o guy looking for a place to share with housemates who like to chill and have a drink every now and again but also like their personal space. I'm working 2 jobs part time at the moment, and when I'm not I'm usually out with friends as much as possible so you'll have the place to yourself! I also have an awesome 4-year-old Australian Terrier named Jedi and I've never met anyone who doesn't love him. My current lease is up in Jan but I can definitely figure stuff out if I find a good place :)
I am an easy going lucky, full time employed professional. I have recently moved to Melbourne for work and looking for a great place to call home. I have a beautiful, friendly black cat named Ninja.
I am a graphic designer, currently working as a receptionist. Got a new job in the city and need to move closer. I'm a happy bubbly person who likes socializing with like minded people. I can be found listening to music (quietly), reading a book, watching Netflix (happy to discuss tv shows in depth with a glass of wine), packing to go on mini road trips with friends, cooking/baking, and I don't mind cleaning.
Hi, I am full-time working professional , seeking a peaceful and friendly dwelling where everyone is warm and friendly at the same time like to maintain privacy. I am working mon to fri so will be hardly home and will be out during weekends to see my family and friends. I am a clean freak and can't stand mess in common areas. I am not looking for very crowded home just with one or two occupants. I am very friendly person and non smoker but enjoy some light drinks during weekends with housemates over dinner. Please text me back if you like my profile as i am seeking a place to move in asap
(Initial note: I am queer and sometimes gender-nonconforming/femme in my presentation and my partner is trans, if this is an issue don't bother messaging me) I am a friendly, tidy, and responsible 22yo social science/teaching student, I've also just picked up a part-time warehousing job that I'll be starting in the next fortnight. I am always up for a chat but unintrusive, much of the time I will either be out or studying but I'm open to both independent and more friendly share arrangements if we have similar interests/get along. I am vegetarian and prefer to organise my own food, although I enjoy cooking and don't mind sharing at times. I don't currently have any furniture, however I'll be able to source my own quickly (I have a blowup mattress I can use until I get a bed) and can supply my own kitchenware, other than an oven/hotplates. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere with a nice kitchen and a room that fits a double bed. I'm looking for at least a 4 month lease, somewhere longer (up to a year) is no problem either. My move date is pretty flexible.
Hi! I'm Mitch. I'm looking for a relatively longer arrangement. 6-12 months or longer. I'm single, non smoker, and have no pets. I work 9-5 for a small private health insurance company. My interests outside of work include seeing live music, enjoying a beverage or two with friends and family, taking iPhone photos of other people's doggos, scrolling through the movies and tv shows on Netflix and not watching a thing, and buying pot plants. I spend a fair few weekends hanging out with my family in country Vic too. I keep my living spaces clean and tidy. I'm chill with cooking my own food or sharing meals with people. I do sometimes go for the convenience of eating out or getting lite and easy delivered weekly. I'm really sociable but also like my own space. I'm all about home being free of confrontation and stress. That's what work is for! I've lived in a really big apartment for 5 years, so I'd like to live in a similar place. Somewhere new/renovated and clean with lots of light and lots of space. Looking for 2 or 3 bedroom apartments/houses/townhouses. I don't have a preference as to living with males or females. I'm also open to getting together a group of 3 or so, and looking at some apartments/houses/townhouses. Send me a message if you're interested! Cheers, Mitch :)
Hello! My name is Bec. I am 22 years old, from Geelong and looking to move to Melbourne before starting full time work as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist in January. I have lived in share houses for the last 3 years. I am very neat, clean and an easy going housemate. I enjoy making time to exercise, socialise, read, cook, go out with friends and have some chill time.
Im super easy going, love music, dancing and food. Into sustainability and nature. Kinda addicted to camping and sleeping on the beach. Vego 99% of the time and appreciate dry humour. Currently have a worm farm and would like to keep it as I move:)
I'm a nearly 19 year old female working part time and planning on working full time next year, I'm a clean person and I love music and baking. Looking to move in with someone/ a group around my age in the inner east. I'm looking for somewhere with no bond, however I am willing to pay rent in advance 4 weeks.
Hi! Im looking for professional males/females who are social and have previous shared living experience. I work a typical 9-5 job in the city, keep it pretty low key during the week, go to the gym most evenings etc. During the weekend I enjoy (to name a few) socialising with friends, the odd Sunday session, brunch and dinners out. I love cooking and baking (especially for people other than myself). Have to be out my current house by the start of feb (at the latest). I have found a property in Hawthorn on Barkers Road which I am interested in applying for. I will furnish everything (save for your bedroom and unless you have some furnishings you want to bring as well). $255 per week (for second bedroom). I have a car too and I'm not sure what the parking arrangements are (street etc). See below link and message me if you're interested. https://www.realestate.com.au/property-townhouse-vic-hawthorn-419924634 Cheers :)
Hi there, my name is Kat and I am a full-time student looking for a fun and clean place to move it. Myself I between my 2 part-time jobs and uni I like to socialise and swim. Shoot me a message if you think we would make a good team.
**Just wanted to point out before anyone msgs me I'm not looking to share a room with someone** I'm originally from Byron Bay but have called Melbourne my home for almost 3 years now. I'm searching for a tidy and quiet-ish share house with people in their early-mid 20's, flexible with the move in date slightly - could wait until early/mid Jan - really just looking for the right place. I am working part time at ANZ head office, as well as studying International relations at Deakin, Burwood, which keeps me pretty busy. Aside from all the usual stuff, like can pay rent and bills on time, housetrained, clean and respectful... I like to get to the beach the rare times the weather is just right, adventure to unknown places, attempt to care for my few plants, yoga, embarrassingly spend way too much time wondering the homeware isles of kmart and love a BYO dinner with friends. Also I'm the girl on the left. Thanks x
Two young professionals about to start their careers in healthcare! Both friendly, outgoing and most importantly clean housemates. Like to play netball, hockey and go to the gym. Both originally from country Victoria so we head back there every few weekends to catch up with family and friends. We enjoy catching up with friends on the weekends.
I am a PhD student who would love to have a clean, organised and quite place to study. Don't watch much TV but don't mind having movie nights, also enjoy a glass of wine and a nice dinner once in a while. I like socializing but at the same time, need my privacy and time alone. Love brunching on weekends. I'm into healthy lifestyle and would like to live with people who have the similar mindset! Just recently started meditation and very new to it. I prefer no dogs in the house. :)
Clean and quiet. Works full time. Not at home most of the time.
I’m an International student from the Swinburne University and I’m searching for an accommodation for my Semester abroad. I’m going to arrive in Melbourne abound the 20th of February and my semester ends in June. So I need an accommodation for around 4 month. My boyfriend will accompany me to Australia. He will arrive in March and we would like to share a room. So let me tell you something about myself and about us as a couple. I am a 22 year old student from Mainz Germany, I like to do yoga, I like cooking and I am a communicative and open-minded person. I come to Melbourne to continue my studies of communication design and get to know the city and the country. For living together I would imagine something uncomplicated, quiet but also communicative. Now to us as a couple. My friend is 23 years old and is studying economics. In Melbourne he plans to work and accompany me with a work and travel visa. We are already 3 years a couple and live also together in Germany. Our friends would describe us as a couple which is not annoying or intrusive by being a couple, but open and communicative towards others. My boyfriend and I already have wg experiences and are uncomplicated. We would be happy to hear from you! best regards Olivia Nigl & Meyssam Houshami
I'm English and looking for a furnished private room to stay in Melbourne while studying at Swinburne. I love music, especially my instruments (although I had to leave those in England) and although I'm not the best chef, I love trying new recipes! I can easily keep myself to myself or happily have a group meal and chill out in front of the tv.
I have been living out of home for 8 years now, I like to be social and also appreciate down time. I like to laugh as life should be enjoyed. I also enjoy heading to the local farmers market, be active, being near the beach. I'm a naturopath so can bring an alternative edge to the house. I am responsible, clean to live with and never have had any complaints. I'm moving back to Melbourne and ready to call my new place home. My start date is flexible as I have family I can stay with for a little while. Contact me if you think I would be a good fit
I'm a great sociable housemate. I can have a high energy or a very calming influence! A hairdresser by trade. Love to explore place I am living, or also relax and soak up the vibe. Clean and caring, i want to live in a nice environment !
Hello future housemate(s)! I am looking for a room, or hoping to start a new team-up in the South East suburbs of Melbourne at the start of the year. My days are pretty busy with full-time work, gym etc so I am not around the house too much. I am laid back and respect of peoples space and privacy, but like staying in a house/apartment that is social, clean and caring. I enjoy having a beer or bourbon over the weekends, but not into house parties anymore, unless they are at someone else's place ;) I am a globe trotter, having lived in too many places to count, but am calling Melbourne home for the near future. I love my work and hope to keep improving in my field. I kick-box for self care and try to scuba dive as often as I can (not enough). I enjoy all kinds of pets, but dont think I can be responsible for one just yet. I am LGBTQ friendly. I really enjoy cooking (and cooking for others), travelling and staying fit. I am quite an active person and usually try to do something fun over the weekends. I like people who are independent, but also enjoy adventuring and communal activities with housemates. I have a car and almost always willing to go for a drive/give a ride if I am not at work. I love a good coffee and hope to get to know you better over one. Any questions, let me know.
Hi folks :) I'm Avi, a 26 year old student and bartender. I'm friendly, get along with just about anyone, plenty of sharehouse experience, and always up to meet new people. Don't mind having a coupla on the weekend, or going to discover new spots in this wonderful city, but equally happy to kick back at home as well. Reading, tv shows, riding my bike, good conversations, food, discovering new places, all get thumbs up.
Annie, 20 years old, first time moving out. Hoping to relocate in order to find more suited work experience for my uni course. Also keen to make a change and gain a little more independence. I am pretty easy going and really do value being clean. I would love to meet some friendly housemates who don't mind having a laugh and a chat from time to time but of course I understand the importance of having your own space.
Hello there :) My names Jemima, I am 21 and studying Fine Arts at Monash Caulfield and are working as a Host at Nobu Melbourne. I love music, cooking, art and my indoor plants are my babies. I am a vego but don't mind if you're not. Of course I look forward to fun social times in the house but also am fully aware of the need for personal space. I am clean and responsible when it comes to house duties and the sharing of shared goods in the house. I have been living independently for 3 years of so now, but still have not managed to accumulate much stuff - I have my herbs in pots that I love that will be coming with me but apart from that I don't have many appliances (no washing machine, fridge, dishwasher, TV). If you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask me :)
Hi everyone! I will start my master degree in Rmit and looking for a comfy place for long term stay. 24 yo female from İstanbul. I'm easygoing and friendly, always up for sharing a dinner or drink. Enjoy spending time at home, watching movie but also enjoy going out at weekends. Looking for housemates that will become friends :) Don't have cats but looove them, so if you have it's np for me. Cheers!
Im a student looking for a cozy home. Im active and enjoy social time with friends. Im working part time, and looking to share a house with some like minded people.
I enjoy having flat dinners, very clean and always ensure shared space is tidy. I am a Physics PhD student at Swinburne University, I enjoy music (guitar and piano). I'm pretty relaxed and easy going.
Hi I'm Jess, I'm a uni student about to start my Honours at Swinburne. So I am looking for a relaxed environment where I can study. But I definitely do still like to have some fun and make new friends. I work part time as Personal Trainer so I will need to leave the house early in the morning but don't worry, I'm like a ninja. My partner Jack and I are both very understanding people and love to get out and explore all of the great food and events in Melbourne. Jack is an aspiring movie critic so he always has great film recommendations. ;) He is also at uni so we are both in and out a lot. We are tidy people and tend to do our own thing so we are great if you want no fuss roommates. We are also looking for a place where we can get a kitty! But this isn't a deal breaker. haha
I'm a primary school teacher (the blonde in the picture) who has just gotten back from teaching in the UK for the last two years. Starting at a new school in Melbourne in late January in Canterbury. I'm easy going, tidy, and enjoy cooking, fitness, wine, going out and socialising with friends...definitely not a home body. Want to live with people that I can share a drink or meal, but who also have their own social lives.
I'm a bubbly out-going and independant woman who is just trying to build her life and start fresh after some family tragedy. I have a beautiful dog Charlee and she is kelpie x husky, under 2yrs and is not a drama at all, just loves ppl too much! I like to do my own thing but am a very social person who loooooooovvveeess making new friends. I'm simple and straight up-what u see is what u get. =)
I'm going to be studying Health Sciences and Naturopathy, I am also a yoga instructor and a very laid back kind of person. I love all animals and get along with most people. I also love to cook and I think I'm pretty good at it. I have tattoos, I ride a motorcycle on nice days and I enjoy things like hiking, reading, card games. Of course I love getting together with mates to have a drink and hang out but I'll be in full on study mode all year so gatherings wont be frequent at home. I prefer to keep my home peaceful and am considerate of others personal space and privacy.
I'm a very considerate, easygoing, respectful and friendly person who respects your privacy and need for your own space, also would love to live with someone who I can share a few laughs and a couple of drinks once a while. Being a foodie helped me ace in cooking.

Hi there, I'm a 32 year old professional looking for a new place to stay! I work long hours but when I'm home I enjoy socialising but also enjoy the quiet times too. I like to hang out with friends, bars and pubs with some tunes, AFL (massive hawks fan) and go to the gym, cycle etc. I am a respectful, clean and considerate person and come from a 3 bedroom home, so have all furniture to utilise! I'm looking for someone who is similar in having a chat and a laugh, but also likes their downtime too. I have children, but they don't live with me. They generally stay one weekend per fortnight/month. Most of the time we aren't home and really come home to sleep and then up and about the next day. Can make alternate arrangements if required, but this has generally not been a problem in the past with housemates If you'd like to know any more, then let me know and I'll be happy to share!
I've been in Melbourne for 2 months for work and will be back from January-April next year. I help charities use technology well, mostly building databases and helping implement good processes to support them. My work is based in Malvern, so looking for something within about 25 minutes by transit to there, but that is also not too far from the city and the areas where all the cool Melbourne acrobatics are happening. (I am a budding acrobat!) When I'm not trying to do better handstands, I can be found reading, gaming (modern tabletop games mostly, with a bit of RPG), and drinking fine Tasmanian whiskey. My job is pretty demanding, so I like a quiet home I can curl up in, although I prefer to live with housemates who like a friendly chat and low-key hangouts in the common places (rather than a place where we all just live around each other, passing like ships in the night). I am queer (bi) and poly--obviously we can sort out what's okay in terms of having people stay over occasionally (unlikely for such a short stay though, honestly), but if someone's like, philosophically committed to being an asshat about either of those things just in general, we'd probably both be a lot happier living with other people. Oh, and I cook! Will keep the kitchen tidy if I'm just cooking for me, but I am generally always willing to feed people if they're happy to do the dishes Coming back around 8 January and staying through April. Also, $300 is getting to the top of my budget--ideally looking for something in the $175-$275 range.
Hello potential roommate! My name is Kyran, I've lived in Geelong for the last four years. I finished my bachelor in Architectural Technology this week and I'm looking to move back up to Melbourne now that I am done. Though I loathe the term, I am best defined as an entrepreneur. I'm starting up a retail power company. Other than that I fancy myself a bit of a chef. I'm into eating and living healthy. I practise martial arts, meditate and read. Comes fully house trained. I enjoy living in a clean house. That translates to things like; washing dishes nightly, packing up after finished, and general organisation. Other than that I've run a share house for the past 3 years. I am looking for a room big enough for a queen sized bed. I also use a fair bit of freezer space. I've got a few goodies that I would be bringing, all of which I'm happy to be communal. Things like a push button coffee machine, sous vide cooker, Olympic weights, fitness gear, and other bits and bobs. My ideal house mates are future friends. That tends to be people who are ambitious, enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and love a deep conversation.
Hello potential flatmates! My name is Bonnie, I am a 25 y.o Restaurant Manager working full-time in Richmond. I also study a Masters degree part-time. I am a friendly positive person who enjoys living in a clean home. I am pretty busy with work but I also enjoy keeping fit at the gym or going for walks. I enjoy a good cup of tea and eating brunch at cafes. Pretty laid back easy going person, good conversationalist but also respect privacy and alone time, especially after a long day at work! I am looking for a place to move into as soon as possible with a short-term agreement with the potential of extension.
Hi there, I'm Emily and I am in the process of re-locating from the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula to Melbourne in Jan 2017 - hoping to find a perfect place with great flat mates. I am 24 years old, working full time as an Occupational Therapist. I have a very friendly and well-behaved dog who lives/sleeps outdoors, therefore I would need to find a house with a suitable backyard/courtyard. I love the outdoors, socialising with friends, travelling, exercise and having a wine or two! I am neat and tidy and feel I am very easy to live with. Emily :)
Hello future housemates, Originally from Ocean Grove I am moving to Melbourne for work and listed the 10th of Jan as a potential move in date, however I am flexible. I like to think I'm a good all rounder. I love sport, particularly AFL but am hardly a mans man. I am pretty active but am easily convinced into eating whole family pizza, washed down with a few beers. I love the outdoors (am passionate about the environment) but am equally at home reading the paper (on my phone) in a cafe. I'm not very fussy and prefer to be accommodating rather than quarrelsome. I'm conscious and respectful of others, clean and tidy and definitely eager to make a positive contribution to a new household family. Most of all I am looking forward to meeting my new housemates!
Hey there! my name's Bianca. I'm a Tassie gal who is a uni graduate and I'm moving to the big smoke in late December/early January to do legal prac and then work as a baby lawyer. I have lived in share houses for 2 years now, and as a housemate I'm very chill, social, like to share the odd meal and have some banter in the house. At the same time, I'm good at respecting everyone's space and down time. I am clean, reliable, and always pay rent/bills on time. I'm not too keen on throwing ragers in the house every weekend but wouldn't say no to heading out for a few bevs. Other interests include wine and netflix, fashion and styling, pretending I'm on an episode of MasterChef and cooking up a storm in the kitchen, and keeping fit (or at least attempting to do so). As I will be new to the city I'll also be out exploring a lot when I'm not working. If I'm the type of housemate you're looking for, feel free to hit me up! x
