I'm a young adult from Adelaide searching for a place to call home for the next 5 years in Melbourne! The reason for my move is because I'll be working part-time in Glen Iris while studying my Masters at Monash. Although self-proclaimed, I'd like to think I'm a great listener! Am very respectful of others' space, likes to keep things tidy and clean while being easy to get along with. In my free time you'd most likely find me watching movies, reading, baking or heading out to a yoga session or finding my next favourite dessert place or jazz bar!
Disclaimer: Willing to pay 250 and below each. Pictured: Vince & Payton (Christians face couldn't fit 😂) We're a fun group of friends from different backgrounds that have known each other for a long time. We get along super well and enjoy hanging out or just chilling. We're an easy going bunch and making friends isn't a problem for us. For fun, we generally enjoy watching movies and going out to eat. The boys like playing ball and gaming (LoL) and as for me (Payton) I'm lowkey obsessed with K-Pop & K-Dramas but I do enjoy reading. We all love music and Christian and I were in our VCE band playing the drums and keyboard. Other than that, we have a pretty mature mindset when it comes to taking care of ourselves as well as others and we respect that everyone has their own needs and we wish to adhere to them. Coming from fairly strict backgrounds, we are raised by our parents to be independent and responsible people so this is our chance to grow on our own and away from the birds nest. We've had experience cooking and cleaning for a large group of people (our big families) so if the occassion arises, we can provide! We're also first year undergraduate uni students looking for accommodation to make the 2hr+ commute to and from Uni a lighter burden on us. Payton - Bachelor of Arts, Deakin University (Majoring in Criminology/Media Studies) Vince - Bachelor of Science, Monash University (Majoring in Biochemistry, Japanese elective) Christian - Bachelor of Music, Undetermined
I'm a Sports Management student at Deakin University and I'll be moving to Melbourne in the second week of Feb from Bangalore, India. I like keeping my living and working spaces tidy. Honestly, I'm not a great cook but I'll be more than happy to take care of my share of the dishes and chores. Also willing to barter chores for surfing lessons! Looking forward to exploring the local action and motor sports scene, although I play hockey and football and do a fair bit of cycling and running too.
I'm a 34 year old designer moving to Melbourne on Feb 2018. I consider myself an enjoyable and open-minded person, in my space I'm a tidy and clean guy but not obsessive in the common area
I’m a 28 yo American gal, here on a Work and Holiday Visa. I'm currently working part-time at a restaurant in Collingwood. I’m quiet, respectful, tidy, and I always pay my bills on time. Love a good quiet night in watching Netflix solo, but also enjoy chilling with housemates over a nice meal and/or glass of wine. My favorite activities include rock climbing, reading, eating delicious food, drinking cappuccinos, watching movies, and dancing (the crazy jump around like no one is watching type).
We are moving from Canberra to Melbourne and looking for somewhere to stay until we find our feet. We are an easy going couple. Enjoy making new friends. We love to be out an about eating and drinking red wine but also love to chill out play games and watch movies. Both clean and tidy and can cook well! :)
Brit currently living in Melbourne. Working full time as a Business Manager in the food production business. I am a pretty chilled out guy that loves keeping active, usually by pounding the tarmac on my road bike , practising BJJ or playing sport. A little geek at heart, enjoy shows like Rick & Morty, Mr Robot and Bojack Horseman. I am looking for a relaxed quiet house, with working professionals, no more than 3 occupants. I'll be working relatively long days in the week and will look to relax with a wine or beer in the evenings while watching something on tv. On the weekends I will mainly be out and about exploring and searching for a little bit of an adventure. I also need a spot for my car so off-street parking is ideal. Ideally the accommodation will have access to parking either on / off street as I will have a car. I have had 2 family dogs and will happily live with pets. 28th Feb is my ideal move date, however this can be earlier in feb as well.
We are all Deakin University students all doing business courses. We have a lot of fun, like to know new people. We are pretty chill people but want to live in a clean environment. We love to play board games and are into sports as well.
I am cleanly, responsible, honest, and kind. I plan to be out of the house most of the day, and in the evenings will likely be found cooking a healthy meal and retiring to my room to read. I enjoy being out in nature, exercise, art, coffee, and travel. I just moved to Melbourne and am hoping to find a nice spot to rent for about 3 months, potentially longer.
Hi! my name is Kyle and i currently work as an accountant in The CBD. Looking to move into a new house any time from the start of Feb. Just finished my first year of Masters in Teaching at unimelb -one more year to go. I work in Albert park, teaching music, two days a week and I will be at uni in the city most week days throughout the day. I also have regular performances and rehearsals throughout the year that keep me busy some nights. Looking for a quiet household, not big into the party scene but do enjoy a quiet drink on the weekends. I do like a clean and tidy house to relax in and don't mind doing my bit for the house. If you have dogs, thats a bonus!
I work full time in the music industry. Outside of working hours, I'm a photographer and community radio volunteer. Happy to chill, or socialise. Whatever suits the vibe of the homestead!
Hey!! I’m Kerry! Me and my partner Melody are moving down from Brisbane to lovely Melbourne over the Australia Day weekend. I start my new job on the 29th of Jan. However our original apartment we had planned has fallen through and we currently have no where to stay :( I’m 27 and Melody is 23 and have been dating for 4 years now. We have a lot in common, she really likes me and I like me too :p We are pretty easy going and get along with most people. Please help us out and offer a room for us to move into!!
I'm a working professional who loves to travel and do beach hopping when weather permits. I also cook and bake goodies when I'm craving for one and wouldn't mind sharing the calories to flatmates and friends. I'm very clean, organized, friendly, respectful, a non-smoker, pays the rent and bills ahead of time, and not a party person. I'm looking for a spacious room in a house within 10Km from CBD and has convenient access to public transport, particularly the Metro. ideal move-in date is sometime in Feb but I'm quite flexible and would also consider moving-in on March.
Hi All! Im a friendly, easygoing 19 year old moving to Melbourne from Newcastle to become a student at SAE doing a Bachelor of Film. I'm into art, fashion, Drama, Film, music, basically anything creative :) I'm a people person, I'm tidy and well kept and I love a good chat. When I start studying I'll be at uni three days a week, and the other days I will be doing barista work or waitressing. I'm always up for fun and having few drinks every now and then, but at the same time I like my down time watching Netflix and painting or cooking. Im looking to move into a place any time from the 26th, the day I fly to Melbourne, and I'm hoping to find friendly, like minded people and a relaxed, chill environment. Thanks for taking the time to check me out! :)
I'm pretty introverted and I don't drink. I spend a lot of time reading, so if you want a quiet housemate, I'm your man. I'm taking some time off from work this autumn to pick up a few new skills. I can pay my rent on time, and I'll pick up my share of the housework. I don't drive because I'm epileptic, though, so I'd much prefer to live near public transport.
Hello We have moved to Melbourne from the Sunshine Coast and will be looking for a place to call home. friendly, easy going couple:) We recently returned from living in London and traveling about. Lead a pretty Busy lifestyle but always up for a chat and cup of tea. very practised at living in lots of lovely share houses over the years in Australia and overseas!
Hi to all who see this, My name is Jenny. I'm 24 years old Vietnamese girl. I would love to fine an accommodation that shared with other female friend who has responsibility to the house. I'm clean, tidy, and quite. Also, i'm studying about two to three days per week and work part-time for three to four days per week too. Therefore, i'm going out most of the time. I also love to cook and bake.
Hiya! I'm on the lookout for a long term room for rent in the inner northern suburbs, anywhere around Fitzroy, Carlton, Abbotsford, Collingwood etc. Just wondering if anyone has anything available at the moment? I'm looking to move between now and early Feb, my price range is anything between $600-$800 pcm (including or excluding bills). Now just the usual little bit about me; I'm super easy going, clean and tidy, easy to get along with and like to hang out. I also really enjoy just a good laugh! I'm not fussy and just want a fun place to live. I have a steady job and this year I'll be studying Biomedicine at Latrobe University. I know I'm a young chicken, although you wouldn't pick it at all. I have experience in share houses, I'm very respectable and low key. Definitely not your usual early 20's party person. I can provide references, payslips, etc. Shoot through a message if you have any questions or think you may have a room. Look forward to hearing from you! Many thanks! Lola

Hey there! I've just moved to Melbourne from Sydney, and I'm looking for a room in a groovy share house. I'm currently job hunting, however I will be studying science from July onwards. I'm tidy, clean and a non-smoker. I enjoy sitting around chewing the fat and communal cooking, but I also like having time to sit quietly recharging while reading, watching a movie, or playing guitar. I also love surfing, bike riding, and coffee.
