Hello I'm an international student, 32 years old, ex-graphic designer, now getting into early childhood education. Easy going, working and studying, quite busy, tidy and organized, love to learn about everything, movies, comics, respectful with personal spaces looking for a private room.
Hi there, I am Daniel, a 27 yr old Civil Engineer. I have moved from Brisbane to Melbourne, and am looking to join an existing sharehouse or apartment. I am a friendly, respectful and tidy person with previous house sharing experience. I am not a party animal, and prefer socializing with house mates over a meal and drink. Hobbies include seeing live music, playing social sports and acoustic guitar. Please message me if I seem like a good fit for your place. Cheers, Daniel.
Im a paramedic student, currently living in Heidelberg. I work at a pub in Fitzroy north. I'm easy going, get along with anyone, always up for having fun and trying new things. I'm a tiny bit OCD (nothing bad) so I like to keep things tidy and I don't mind cleaning. In my spare time I like to get outdoors, go on adventures, exercise, catch up with friends and all the usual stuff. Currently living at home but very keen to take that step and move out. I would preferably like to live with female housemates but I'm still open to other arrangements with the right people Don't hesitate to message if you think we'd work well together
I work as a Data Analyst (standard office hours) and spend my weekends surreptitiously plotting world domination and/or sleeping in - whichever comes first. I try to keep myself fit and healthy, but not in a gym-junkie or detox-fanatic kinda way. Weekdays after work, if I'm not training or dining out with friends, then you'll usually find me just having a chilled-out evening in front of the TV. I generally keep to myself, but I'd rather share a place with a compatible person than be roommates with strangers. If you enjoy a quiet glass of wine in the evenings and David Attenborough documentaries, we'll get along fine.
Hey roomies. I clean up after myself and I am generally tidy. I respect others privacy and space and I am happy to do my part with chores. I usually keep to myself being a fairly quite person and I rarely party or go clubbing, but I do enjoy sociallising and getting out and about. Throughout the week I will be studying, going to gym and working part time. I love animals so pets are not a problem for me. All this aside I am pretty easy going and not much bothers me haha. Feel free to message me! Thanks
I'm student at Deakin uni public health and health promotion and I have been to Australia for 2 years .I'm extremely friendly and outgoing, I love food and socialise with people, also I'm fery easy to get along with. I do smoke but not heavy smoker and also I prefer to smoke outside
My name is Alix. Originally from France, I am 22 years old and working full time as a Receptionist. I am easy going and friendly. Respectful and mindfull of peoples own space, and most importantly very clean. I am not a party animal and usually love keeping things quiet during the week and weekend. Although I do enjoy going for brunch or getting out of the house for abit on the weekend. I do have my own furniture (Bed and other room furniture) so and unfurnished room is perfect. I am looking for somewhere to share preferably with a girl! I would enjoy making a new friend, and hanging out when the time is right.
Hi! I am currently looking for a new place to call home in Melbourne. I have spent the last couple of months travelling all around Europe and am pretty keen to get settled and move back to Melbs. I am a fun, easy going and friendly guy who loves sport, keeping fit and tipping back the occasional beer or 2. I respect privacy, personal space and am neat and tidy. I am a professional with constant work on the go so there is no worries what so ever when it comes to rent and bills etc. I would like to find a house with nice, social people. If you have a place to offer feel free to send me a message as id love to hear from you! I am also interested in teaming up with people and finding a new place of our own! Cheers
I am a fun, motivated and positive individual works full-time at a dealership near Collingwood. ( mid 20s) Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything you would like to ask me. cheers. :)
I just started work down here in Melbourne and work all through the weekend so I'm mostly looking for a place that is neat and tidy that I can leisurely sleep in when I get home from work and on my off days, something cozy with laid back people that are clean, polite and respectful of others as I try to be - definitely not looking for any kind of party house or anything of the like. I'm almost 19, I work a lot, sleep, love to cook good food and workout in my off time when I'm not too tired. Though I am bubbly and love a good chat I'll often be silently resigned to my own room enjoying my own company, multiple naps or researching things online. Though I'm young I'm very mature and would like mature, preferrably older housemates whom like a chat here and there but prefer to keep to themselves.
I am a clean person especially in shared areas, I love to cook and I like to share what I cook (for a gold coin donation). I paint and am quite a recluse. I like to watch horrible tv shows and listen to indie music and chill. I like some wine and a movie. I am not a party animal, or a smoker. I keep to myself but I do like to have a chat and a giggle with my house mates when I'm home. However university and work keep me quite busy so I only really have one day off a week. I would potentially like to get a cat. As a side note though i am looking for a large room. Preferably around 4x4ish. Thanks for reading.
Dan, 29, dj, nightclub manager, chippie..Work mainly in the CBD, so looking to move city way not about the 4 hour round trip every time I head to work, so time to move...Always super busy on weekends and some nights mid week..Carpentry work with a mate during the week doing our own thing, so super busy 24/7...Social but definitely a fan of quiet time after being around nightclubs all weekend..Clean freak and fairly quiet most of the time..apart from the music ;) Like to think I'm considered polite, neat, respectful & chilled out ..Fairly rushed intro, but feel free to ask away if there's anything I missed! ;)
Hi there, Its Azam (Aaaaaa-zam), an international student who came all the way from Pakistan in order to pursue a post-graduation degree at Deakin University, Buwood. It has been 9 months now since i got here and currently studying in 2nd semester. I am looking for a FURNISHED ROOM either in a shared house or apartment with friendly, laid-back and tidy housemates but it would be highly considered if the place is close to Uni. Feel free to contact me and help me find a best and reasonable accommodation, Thanks.
I am on a pension and have physical disability. I am independent. I need assistance with cooking. I love travelling and I am full time missionary which I do voluntarily in Kenya. I will be going back on the 1st Feb. I love music, movies and socialising.
Hi, I'm sociable which is probably why I'm studying to kick start my radio career, I also enjoy some of the finer things in life, finding a nice bar and chatting over headbanging and sweating in a club for example. I get along well with pets for some reason, I joke that it's my animal magnetism but I'm more humble than that. I'm here to study, work and see some of the great things that Melbournites brag about. So far I've not been disappointed. I do like to game but I'm not a screamer or carry on like the media make you believe. I also like to dabble in the kitchen and somehow became a very clean cook :O I hail from the Blue Mountains of NSW and have many stories so far in my life, which I didn't realise until I started being introduced to many people in Melbourne.
Hey future flatmate! I'm moving to Melbourne early December from WA and would love to have a home lined up before I arrive. I have a car so parking is a must for me. I'm friendly and always up for a chat, although I respect others privacy, I will keep common areas clean and tidy, and pay my bills on time. I'm a pretty social person, on weekends I'll be out and about either at cafes, bars having a few bevs or at the footy. Weekdays I like to keep low-key and enjoy nice dinners and chill out! If you think this could work send me a message on here or mobile and we can arrange a Skype/Facetime meet :) Hoping to hear from you soon! Christen
Hi all, My name is Alex and I am currently studying at Deakin university majoring in anthropology. I guess you could say I'm a social person, I love to have lovely chats over a glass of wine or a trip to the river/beach with friends and of course a BBQ in the backyard. I love music and whilst I am not a fan of television I love films. I am clean, I love to have things slightly orderly, otherwise I find it hard to think, and as I have been living in a student shared environment for the past year I am looking forward to having my own space but am still able to communicate and get along with most people, which is why I believe shared accommodation would be perfect for me. That is a small compilation of my basic characteristics.
Hi, We are a couple of Professionals, looking for a place to sleep closer to the city to ease our current 3 hour a day commute. We are an Architect and an Interior Designer working full time and studying our trade at night. We are looking for super clean, neat and respectful flatmates. We are not looking for a party house or a house as we are way past this stage. This is a short term 6 month at max run for us as we are looking to purchase our first property by June 2017. We would be happy to house sit for shorter periods or quietly reside in a granny flat or the like. We enjoy being active running, bike riding and picnics when not working 40+ hours per week.
Relaxed individual looking for a fun loving home to retreat and escape to after work. .... Somewhere clean and peaceful with a bit of a view/ pretty to look at.
Easygoing yet like to keep the house clean. Very friendly, social but respectful of privacy. Work 9-5pm in payroll for government, enjoy the outdoors, beach, cinema and catching up with friends. Not to mention overseas travel once in a while :) Through the working week i'm pretty quiet but will get out and about on weekends. I have lived in share houses for 10 years so very house trained :)
Hi, I'm Sean, an easy going and dependable marketing professional from Adelaide, that enjoys sports, cooking and binging on Netflix. I'll be moving to Melbourne in 2017 for a new job and I am looking for a place close to the CBD as its easier for me to get to work. My position is a permanent contract and I will be living in Melbourne for the foreseeable future. I am friendly and always happy to socialise, but I also understand the importance of privacy and respecting others space. Furthermore, I appreciate a clean and tidy home and I am more than willing to do my fair share of the housework. I am also a non-smoker. Don't mind what age, gender or nationality my flatmates are, just looking to live with clean, friendly and reliable people. P.S. I am also interested in team-ups, so if I sound like the kind of person you'd like as a flatmate don't hesitate to get in touch as well.
We are both two friendly students currently studying at Deakin and Swinburne Universities. We both work part- time. We are easy to get a long with and very clean therefore no problems living with us! We are looking for two furnished bedrooms around the camberwell area to live in for the next year or so!
I'm fun and bubbly with a great personality and I'm easy to be around. I'm all for doing things together but I also know how to respect others' personal space and when it time to do things seperately. I'm neat and tidy and will not cause any trouble :)
I'm from Italy and I'm studying at the Australian College of Dance while I'm working in camberwell as a waitress. My boyfriend Rhys is from Australia and he's a bartender. We are a very outgoing couple, very respectful for the other's space and we like to take some times for ourselves. We are very clean and tidy. We like sometimes to have a drink and relax.
I'm Kristen! (On the left) I am 23 and from Bathurst NSW. Looking to move to Melbourne start to mid Jan as I am graduating uni and have a full time job waiting!! I am a country gal at heart who enjoys a day at the races and a couple of beverages! Also love the gym, working out and clean eating! I am an extremely tidy person looking for a room in a house with people that know their way around a vacuum cleaner plus help me explore Melbourne! No idea what my schedule will be like yet but always down for dinner and binge watching Suits. Somewhere close to public transport would be also be fab!
Hi..! We're a couple looking for a room plus ensuite to rent for at least a year or more. There is my partner Ray.. who is working full time in the financial industry, and myself, Jess, I am a student studying photography. We're looking for a laid back household with housemates who are up for a chat every now and then.. maybe over a glass of red! We love our coffee and always have fresh beans in the house. We're into traveling, hiking, food and having a good conversation.
Leaving the Army and starting a new job in Melbourne with the State Revenue Office, looking for somewhere to shack up. Easy going fella, enjoys a beer or two and love my footy and cricket. Avid gym goer and timely bill paying enthusiast.
I'm a single 40 year old female who works full time. I'm looking to share with preferably a female so we can hang out together sometimes. I have a 3 year old cavalier dog. She is well behaved, good natured and house trained. I'm outgoing and friendly, not into parties but like to chill with a glass of wine after a busy week. I'm very clean and am happy to contribute to keep the house tidy. I've shared with people before so am used to getting along with others. Looking for a place as close to the city as possible but most importantly near a train/tram line. Happy to drive up to half an hour to either. Pretty flexible when it comes to location. Happy to take on a long-term lease.
My name is Elle, 26yo and work full time in the city at a law firm. I'm easy going, clean and tidy and prompt with payment of bills and rent. I enjoy socialising and am generally catching up with friends on the weekends and like to keep things pretty chilled out during the week. I play netball once a week, and enjoy checking out new restaurants or bars in Richmond and going to football and tennis. Would be interested in sharing the occasional drinks or dinner with housemate/s. Looking forward to meeting you!
I am friendly, relaxed and easygoing and feel it's important to live in a 'home' not just a 'house' with respect for one another in all areas of living and sharing including cleanliness, prompt payment of rent and bills and privacy. I run my own Business and not home a lot but when I am, I enjoy chilling out with a glass of wine (or2) whilst cooking up a storm, engaging in one of my art projects, listening to some tunes, watching a good movie, or catching up with friends.
Hi I'm Jovell, a Healthcare professional who works shift hours in Richmond. I enjoy running, travelling, hiking, swimming, hanging out with friends, reading and a good cuppa. I'm pretty easy going, laid back, clean and tidy, respectful to each others space and enjoy good conversation. Most importantly, I pay rent on time. :)
Hey! I'm Yasmjne but everyone calls me Yas, unless I've done something terribly wrong. I'm currently working part time until I can start studying again next year. I find myself to not only be more of the silent type when pottering around but be more of a person to not be seen much but I will do a lot of cleaning normally and some cooking; so in that regard you'll see a lot of me, otherwise you won't see much of me. I like to believe (and from others) that I'm a nice down to earth person. Working part time as a bartender and nanny my hours are insane, hence my silence and not being around often, but according to those whom I have lived with previously, they don't even hear me come in in the mornings. I like dogs (I have a puppa myself who lives elsewhere but I constantly vist), books, cartoons / anime, travel and cups of tea. I'm not sure what else to say, besides I do talk a lot when you do catch me and I'm a fairly open book. Some of this stuff is super corny and cheesy, but I guess that's just who I am :) On a side note I'd trade a puppy for a kid any day, I love kids, that's why I nanny, but I'm more fond of puppies. So if you have a dog that's an extra bonus, I'll love it like there's no tomorrow. My ex's cat tried to kill me 3 times in one night, so, cats aren't my thing but I'll try love your cat if you have one.
A country girl who's just moved to the city, about to start working in fashion retail and looking to meet new people! I'm very cruisey and consider myself very easy to get along with. I like to be social and have a drink and a good time but also enjoy time to myself! Keen to live with more than 1 other person :) looking for something from mid November, as my job will start at the end of November!
Hi I'm ash, I'm 21 years old and work full time at Bunnings northland, non smoker, no pets. Easy to get along with and mostly keep to myself :) would prefer bills included for this price and preferably no, or little bond, hit me up if this suits you thanks! Ash
I'm clean and tidy very social. I'm currently studying at deakin university and next year will be my 3rd and final year. I am looking for a room or a team up. I'm fun, outgoing but also very respectful of other people's privacy within the house.
Mature and well rounded, social, love a chat over a drink when it arises and very clean with a great sense of awareness to others. I'm full-time employed in the events and catering industry and sometimes work crazy hours, but do enjoy good downtime and being social.
Hi everyone, Moving interstate in late November. I'm hoping to have nothing but my bed, car and my 6 month old cat Trevor (fully house trained and pretty cool) I've been in share houses before and haven't had the best experiences from the other people. I'm tidy, go to sleep early, enjoy a wine and a chat after work, but I'll be at the gym or at Crossfit before I come home for the afternoon. If someone wants to find a place they are happy to come home to and reckon they'll gel well with me and help me get to know Melbourne then let me know! :)
I need to get out of home for my mental health. I am in treatment for anorexia but it is unsafe for me to live with my parents. I'm unemployed but have savings and I receive money from my parents. I will also be applying for the disability pension as I am too unwell to work. I am extremely neat and clean and I am casual and friendly and a non smoker. I really need accommodation soon so that I can begin outpatient treatment asap.
We are Jenalle and Sou, two full-time PhD students, 25 and 26, looking for an awesome housemate to join us! As we are both grad students (PhD is actually more like a job) we are pretty busy but also tend to have flexible schedules/work into the wee hours of the morning. An ideal housemate would be female, employed full-time/graduate student, around 24-30, housetrained (previous rental experience!), respectful of shared spaces/noise levels/visitors etc., independent, but also willing to share a wine/two/three occasionally. While we enjoy a good time and going out, we definitely aren't a party house. We also come with a pet rabbit called Harley. He is a house bunny but lives in my (Jenalle's) room so shouldn't be an issue to anyone else.
I'm 22 and I'm working as a Sales Consultant and a Barista at a cafe. I study a Bachelors degree part time, but am currently on "summer holidays". My personal interests include, fitness, , music(making music), self development, reading, gaming, skating, and hanging out with friends. But also love to have fun, road-trips, adventures, chills, whatever. I'm looking for a nice room in Kew, Hawthorn, Camberwell or Richmond and other nearby suburbs My budget is 250 PW excluding bills and I'm ready to move A$AP furnished or unfurnished. I have a stable income, lifestyle and always maintain a clean physical environment. .I probably won't be at the house a heap, and would like to live with no more than 4 people. Making new friends along the way is always a bonus. Send through a message, and we can arrange a meet! :)
Im a quality flatmate as I am easy going, enjoy some socialising with flatmates and time to myself, tidy, polite and friendly. I like bike riding/racing in my spare time and try to keep relatively fit/healthy. Do enjoy a nice glass of wine in the evening though. So I'm balanced! I also have a small boston terrier, who is house trained, does not bark and is generally inconspicuous.
Easy going, mature, responsible, tidy couple working full time. Sam is a plumber and I work in hospitality. We pay bills on time and can get along with anyone that are nice human beings like ourselves! We keep to ourselves mostly so won't get in the way!
Hey :) 25 YO; GERMAN; TIDY; FUNNY; EXCHANGE STUDENT; DEAKIN UNIVERSITY My name is Yannik and I am a 25-year-old exchange student at Deakin University. After finishing school in 2011 I moved to Münster in a flatshare with two other people and started to study business. But to be honest I don’t see myself as a typical “finance business suited management person” and maybe this is why a friend I get to know in Sydney asked me, if I would really study business? :D During my Bachelor degree I did a semester abroad in San Diego, USA. I spent most of the time with my four roommates. This time was one of my best in my life and this is why I decided to do another semester abroad later on during my Master studies. After finishing my Bachelor studies I did a gap year, moved to Munich and did an internship at the Walt Disney Company for 6 months. After that I travelled through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia for 3 months. Then I started my Master studies with the major in Marketing in October 2015 that I will continue after this semester abroad in April 2017. Besides I would describe myself as an open-minded person. Traveling really helps to think outside the box! and I think I am an over-average tidy person. I don’t really like chaos. I am really interested in sports in general, but especially in football. I am a fan of Borussia Dortmund, so maybe you have heard about the “Yellow Wall” ;). I also have played football at the football club in my hometown, but I also like playing volleyball, basketball and tennis and I try to go skiing once a year in the Alpes. The last 6 months I did CrossFit. Furthermore I am into tv series and movies (e.g. Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Walking Dead…). I watch a lot of Tv series with my flatmates. Last time we finished GoT the second time ;) I also like having a few beers with friends and mostly we go clubbing once a week. Last but not least I am not someone who locks himself in his room. My room door is always open and I don’t know why but in every flat I have lived in, my room evolved into a second living room :D I want to stay in Melbourne for four months (end of February). I would love to hear from you :) Cheers! Or Prost (German)! Yannik
We're both very clean and tidy, outgoing, interested in music, surfing etc. I'm a photographer and he is doing his pHd in marine biology. Good food, great wine, arts... Much love :)
Hi my name is David and I'm a 25 year old Canadian who has been in Melbourne for the past 2 and a half years. I currently working full-time in property in the city and I'm also completing my masters at RMIT. I am currently in Prahran, ideally I am hoping to find somewhere already furnished, as I only own my bedroom furniture and somewhere near transport which allows me to get to work with no drama. My lease is up in the middle of November so would be looking at moving any time in the next few weeks. I am easy going and love the outdoors. Not too fussed about living in either a share house or with just one other person, preferably someone around a similar age. Own bathroom would be amazing but not essential. I love dogs (who doesn't), I'm a non-smoker and like to keep fit and healthy but also love a night out now and then.
Hi, I'm Elya! I've been in Melbourne for almost 3 years, originally from Malaysia. I'm currently an Arts student and will be graduating soon. Looking for a place to stay over the summer (but hopefully longer!) while I figure out what's next. Dates are sort of flexible. For potential roommates: I'm clean and tidy, still learning how to cook, not much into parties, here to listen to you vent over a glass of wine after a long day, and always up to binge watch tv shows. That being said, I will definitely respect your privacy and if you want to keep to yourself, that's cool too. If you're interested / want to know anything else, feel free to contact me! Bonus points if you have a cat.
I've lived out of home for the most part of 2 years now, and after living with females that whole time I have gained a very healthy habit of keeping everything clean, respecting privacy and being willing to get out there and meet new people. I have 2 pet whippets at my parents house but they haven't been with me for the past year or so, so this isn't essential. I currently work 35+ hours each week at first choice in Tooronga village, Hawthorn east and I enjoy nothing more than going to the footy when I have time and having a few beers whilst I unwind at home
I am a young professional who is seeking a room at a house somewhere in the eastern suburbs. I consider myself to be a quiet, independent person who is easy to live with. I like to keep active during the week and play various sports on the weekends, but I still like some downtime to relax and have a beer or two. If you feel as if I am the right fit for your household please don't hesitate to contact me. Hope to speak soon!
