Hi guys! I´m Joanna and just moved to Brisbane. I was living in shared appartments basically my whole life and already miss it, so I really want to share my new home with cool and nice people, who can show me around the city (or we can go explore together). I´m easy going, like to go out, like to meet friends, but also enjoy Netflix and lying in bed all day.
I’m a non-smoking, no-pets, no kids, middle-aged and young-at-heart, Canadian/Australian female, tidy, responsible, friendly/sociable yet also respectful of others’ living space. I've lived in a lot of sharehouses in multiple countries and value easy-going, open communication. I'm a long-term Brisbane resident who's relocated back from Melbourne. Have worked professionally in the public and corporate sectors in QLD and overseas - currently on break from my part-time Master of Environment studies. My interests include yoga, swimming, cooking healthy meals, easy cycling/hiking, arthouse films, sustainability and community volunteering. Seeking a non-smoking, pet-free household to share with 1 or 2 people (couples OK). Unfortunately although I love dogs and cats, I'm allergic to both. I have a car so would need either on-street parking or parking spot, if available. Prefer a relatively quiet household but I'm up for friendly chats, sharing an occasional meal/cuppa with housemates or watching TV (e.g. news, docco or The Simpsons). I don’t drink alcohol but am fine with my flatmates having the occasional drink. Move-in date flexible. References available.
Hi All, My name is Reece, I'm 27 and looking for a new place in Brisbane. I just finished living in London for 2 years and moving back to Brisbane. At the moment I'm most likely looking for shorter term accommodation as I'm also still looking for work. However for the moment just being close to some kind of public transport will be fine. I've also got enough savings to pay rent until starting work. I like going to see concerts, hanging with friends and hiking in the outside world and generally playing games/binge watching shows when I'm home. I've been living in shared accom for the last 2.5 years so I'm used to keeping tiding and living with a group of people. Preferably looking for something furnished or just with a bed at minimum and internet connection would be great too! Move in date also flexible Cheers!
Hey new housemate! all the boring stuff is below but to put it into a couple of sentences we are just looking for somewhere nice with housemates that we can enjoy time with whether its having a drink at night or watching a movie or having dinner, maybe even sneak in a game of monopoly! (without the destroying friendship part of it) look forward to hearing from you. We are a couple that has been together for over 2 years both from Brisbane, our current flatmate has had to move back home and our lease runs out on the 30th so we are looking to find a new place and new housemates pretty quickly. I (Sean) am a second year mechanical engineering student at UQ interested in cars and I do gardening for work every now and then, i am not a fan of cats at all but love pretty much any dog. Amy works as a nanny and a cleaner 6 days a week likes going to yoga when she can make it and enjoys lying down and reading books (she has about 3 storage containers full and more on the bookshelf), we also have 4 mice dont worry they dont stink as we clean them pretty regularly. Most nights i will cook dinner and we will watch some tv shows or movies. we like going out for breakfast or dinner about once a week and try to do something new that gets us out of the house on the weekend. Not really to sure what else to say but hope we are looking forward to meeting our new housemates cheers.
Hi there, My name is Samantha and I’m looking for a double room in a friendly share-house in the Woolloongaba or Paddington area. I’m a laid back person who works as a graphic designer for film and TV industry. In my spare time I meet up with friends to see a comedy and other gigs (apparently my own jokes are not funny enough!) or organise myself a day trip along the coast. I like to socialize and share a drink or two but I also respect others’ privacy. If you think we could match, please drop me a message! Best, Sam
Hey there! I'm a full-time student and a part-time worker. Prefer a home than a house. Looking to move IMMEDIATELY or as soon as possible! I'm very sociable and as curious about different cultures and backgrounds as i am respectful. I prefer to live with mentally mature and stable people. (Please!) And no, that does not translate to boring and dull people. Don't get me wrong, i like to have fun and love to joke around when appropriate. Heck, i might even be one of the quirkiest people you'll ever come across. Well, enough about that, moving on to more of my wonderful qualities. (Just kidding) The ideal housemate when it comes to privacy, cleaning up after myself and keeping noise to a minimum. I'm into hiking, cycling, movies, having a good chat and spirituality among a bunch of other things. Cheers!

Hi there, I'm Chris from Berlin, Germany. I will move to Brisbane in the End of July as an exchange student at the QUT. I'm an open minded and communicative person, so I'm used to cook, having a beer (German stereotype - check! ;), go out dancing, doing sports or just hang out, together with my flatmates. But I also totally understand if someone wants to be alone or just needs some rest. I'm also a clean and tidy person and I like animals, so if you have a pet, this shouldn't be a problem, except it is something creepy! :D Some more about me? For the last 6 years i used to work as an event manager (in full-time) for the cultural department of one district office of Berlin. Next to my job I studied in the evenings for the last 2 years. But now I quitted my job to be able to study abroad at the QUT for one semester and go on traveling afterwards. I saved enough money and I will also try to get a job in bar or sth. similar, so no worries, I will be able to pay my rent easily (even without the job)! If you have any questions, just hit me up! Cheers Chris
I'm a fun 20 year old, I love to socialise but also love to have my quiet time. I'm very clean and respectful of others. I'm currently working on Fraser Island but am moving to Brisbane mid July where I have a full time job lined up in the city.
Boring Disclaimer: 150 per week is my absolute maximum, and it must include bills and internet. I am on Youth Allowance. If you can see this listing, I still need a home :) Basic Requirements: I am looking for a place with easy access to public transport, particularly between QUT Kelvin Grove and the Gabba/Annerley. No pets that shed, it seems to make my allergies worse. No smokers, no 420. Room needs to be mostly unfurnished, and be able to comfortably fit a double bed, desk, and room for clothes storage containers. Better things: I am studying a Master's Degree in Public Health. In my spare time, I go to a weekly D&D session, and also like to hang out with friends and play board games (cooler than Monopoly) . I also love watching stuff on Netflix, or streaming things like Archer, Rick and Morty, American Gods, Brooklyn 99 etc. I can knit and crochet, and sometimes I like to invite friends over to watch things while crafting. Looking for a house where I can hang out with my housemates and have fun, but also have my own space when I need to study. I keep late hours, but try to make sure that I keep the noise down.
Student in last semester. Work 4 to 5 days a week and keep myself quite busy throughout the week. Very relaxed and considerate of others as that's how I prefer to be treated myself. Up for the odd drink or social activity every now and then.

From not so sunny England currently in Australia chasing the sun on a working holiday visa. I'd like to stay in Brisbane for 3 months whilst I save more money. I would say I'm lovely & polite, I clean and tidy up after myself and don't like messy/dirty places. I think I'm pretty easy to live with. It would be so nice to call somewhere home for a little bit. I'm sociable and into hiking & exploring aswell as nights out and nights in. It would be so awesome to meet some like minded people to have fun with! Also looking for team ups for the time I'm here, would be awesome to have a little gang! Get in touch! xo

Hey I'm 24 studying Psychology full time at Griffith and working part time. I've been living on the Gold Coast my whole life about to move to Brisbane for a change. I'm very easy going, laid back, clean, considerate and not a massive party animal. I do like my own privacy and space but I definitely prefer to be friends not strangers with who I live with. Would ideally like to live with people around the same age as me :)
I am moving from Townsville. I work week on week off so I ll be away half the year. Love my NRL and sports in general. Very clean to live with. Easy to get along with. Moving for a change in life style and scenery. Need a place with somewhere to put my car, preferable an unfurnished room ,close to the city, easy going people around the same age.
I am very very clean and like to live with people who are also very clean! I love to have fun but also enjoy quiet alone time. I work full time Tues-Sat and have a boyfriend, so I can be a ghost in your home or I can be a bff :)
A writing student nearing the end of his poor life choice of getting a writing degree. Extraordinarily quiet for the most part, you could probably go the entire day without seeing me if you check your corners correctly. But that's most likely the result of me trying to be considerate and not cause any fuss. If you need to talk to me about anything, I'm almost definitely going to be happy to do so. I consider myself a kitchen ghost. Meaning, if I do things right, you won't even know I've been there. I like to clean as I go, and anything I leave out will be gone as soon as I'm finished with it. I love my computer like most people love their limbs. I take him everywhere, and he is unfortunately forced to come with me everywhere even though he could almost definitely do better. Looking to move as soon as possible, but the real final day I have is 18th of July before my current lease ends, which is convenient for this site's whole '30 day plan', so if you're in no hurry, I'm not really in a huge one either, although I do like jumping on things sooner rather than later. I'm not sure what else to say here, honestly. Last housemates I've had have had pretty much no bad experiences with me. You can talk to them if you really want. I mean, I won't leave their numbers here in this box, but if you want them you can totally have them. I know I have at least one of them still. I like video games sometimes. Movies are pretty cool, I guess. These are very general mediums that everyone likes, so I don't know why I'm mentioning them. Just gonna stop talking now. You have yourself a super good day. Additional comments regarding the profile picture: I'm a writer, not a photographer.
I'm almost always laughing and down for a pizza night any day of the week. I'd love to live with someone who can show me around the surf breaks.
