Hi I'm Jon I'm a student at ANU, studying law/commerce and have a year left of my degree. I'll be coming back to Canberra after 8 months in Europe and am looking for a share house! I'm pretty easy going, clean, respectful and social. I'm looking for a share house where we can respect each other and also chill together over dinner/drinks etc. I'm working part-time in the Canberra Centre and have lived in share houses in Canberra for the past 3 years. My hobbies include: yoga, running, basketball, reading, cooking and relaxing. Feel free to get in touch if you have any more questions!
I like to play games. Tennis, cricket and Overwatch to name a few. I'm a pretty basic cook but I enjoy the times I do. I'm a social being if there's something on but am happy to live independently if I have to. I also have a solid part time job when I'm not studying, and I bring a very small car with me - but don't need a carport or garage. The closer to the ANU the better. Preferably within cycling distance. HMU if you like what you read. Am keen for a place asap. Furnished is a bonus.
Hey there! I am Can Metan. I'll start my PhD in Computer Science soon and I'm looking for a place to call home. I am a very clean and trust-worthy guy. I quite enjoy cooking healthy meals and I'm quite sociable in general. While we can share a glass of wine every now and then, I don't drink every week and I certainly don't smoke. I will be working a lot this year (likely to get a job besides PhD) and I would love to have a roomie that can pull his / her own weight. Looking forward to hear from you!
My name is Astrid and I will start an internship in Canberra on the 30th of august for the period of 3 months. I am looking for a room in a house with other 20-30 year olds who like to spend time with each other, but also respect each others privacy.

Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days a week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously.
I moved to Canberra from Perth earlier this year to work for the public service. My current lease runs out at the end of July so I'm looking for a nice, homely apartment, townhouse or unit within 15 minutes of the city. Looking for a place with 1 or 2 housemates who are clean and respectful of privacy, but like to cook, watch movies, and hang out together sometimes! Please contact me if you are looking for someone to move in from mid July :)

Cheers Anthony.

I am not a clean freak but can adult pretty well. I pay my rent on time. I’m accepting and quite open minded. I’m looking for somewhere closer to the city than I currently am, preferably with its own bathroom. I consider myself to be clean, honest, considerate, courteous, responsible, capable, non judgemental and mature for my age. I get on well and feel comfortable with people of all ages and from all walks of life. I enjoy both my own time to rest and recharge as well as socialising when possible. I have been fortunate enough to secure an apprenticeship at the place I wished to work at near the Kingston foreshore. My job and its location are excellent as are my co-workers. We get on very well and like to get together and socialise occasionally. So I am happy, content, easy going and focused on my job and future. I just need to be able to find a place to share with like minded people, much closer to work, as soon as possible, in order to avoid the 3hr per day commute that has plagued me for the last 11 months (and my life would be almost perfect).
Hi, I'm a female in my early 20's who want to move closer into town. I currently live on a property out of town. I work full time as a school provisional psychologist. I have a little dog called 'Jatz' that will come with me, I would like him to be inside when I am there. I am pretty easy going, clean and happy to be social or on my own. I have lived in share houses for the last 5 years, so know what it is all about. I moved to Canberra at the start of last year from North Queensland for work. Not looking for a place until July but would be great to have something organised by then.
I'm a 46 year old professional from Sydney and will be joining a company in Braddon on 5/6/2017. I'm planning to stay in Canberra only 4 week nights (from Monday to Thursday) as I will be travelling to back to Sydney for the weekend. Occasionally I might stay for the weekend. Also I'm looking for a furnished room with an ensuite or separate bathroom (not a shared bathroom). Rent per week - $250 to $275 depending on the location..
I'm a 30 year old woman from Slovenia. I am moving to Canberra to work as an astronomer at the observatory. I am looking for a private room in a shared house, preferably with a garden, from mid June. Heating in the room during the winter time is essential. I like to spend my time outside - hiking, cycling, snorkeling, whale watching, stargazing etc. but I also like to read in the garden, play cello (a silent one!), take photos and enjoy interesting conversations. I would very much like to live with people who would not only be my flatmates but also friends who would join me on my adventures, share a meal and go out together now and then.
i am a 22years old student from China, pretty friendly and easy-going. i'm really into playing sports,like ping-pong,billards etc,even though i am not good at any of them,lol..... I will study language courses for almost 2 months in ANU ,so my english skills are not quiet good, i am really looking forward to improve my english when i get there .

Hi, I'm going into my final semester of uni and work part time. I have previous share house experience and am friendly, clean and considerate. I enjoy socialising while also being respectful of people's space, and I'm clean & quiet :) Looking to move in mid July when our current lease ends. Hobbies include writing, reading, and both going out with friends and staying in with Netflix and a warm blanket!
Hey everyone, I'm looking for a place to stay. Preferably close to town as work is in the city. I'm 25, have no pets and work full time. Am sport orientated and don't mind the odd drink every now and again. Very low key and reliable, would also be keen to team up.
Hey there guys! Im coming back to Canberra from Melbourne for work, I recently graduated from ANU. I'm a relaxed person, always keep my surroundings clean. I will be away for most of the day at work and like to relax at other times. I am also studying for CPA at the moment. I play soccer on the weekends and like to hang out with friends. Please get in touch if you have any rooms to rent.
~~~New to Canberra; young professional; have a Netflix account; cook; clean; good at tasks like setting up internet modems & routers & AV equipment; not good at tasks like uploading photos to flatesmates.com; laugh at jokes; make jokes~~~
I am a friendly and adventurous person who prefers quiet Friday nights at home. I like to keep spaces, especially common areas, clean and presentable. I am respectful of others' privacy, the way I like mine to be treated, but am also up for chats over dinner and hanging out. :) I've recently moved from Sydney to Canberra for work and I'm quite enjoying liking it here in Canberra! I love being out in nature, hiking and exploring new places. I have a huge soft spot for food, so I like trying out new and different cafes. I also enjoy spending time with friends and getting to know people. In my own time, I like to write, read, play music, and watch TV shows :)
I am from India and I will be interning at ANU for 2 months weeks. I am quite adjusting and have minimal needs; used to sharing rooms and would not create any kind of disturbances. I love to have a chat over dinner and hang-out in my downtime. I just need a place to work and sleep. I would be the best guest you ever had ;)
I'm a very vivacious and active person who is looking for a quiet place to live with my older sister. I am the assistant manager at an outdoor adventure store and my sister is a very busy bike mechanic who also cycles professionally. We are very friendly and responsible adults who enjoy the outdoors and travelling. We are hoping to find a granny flat for the two of us in a more central suburb as our jobs are located in both the north and south of Canberra.
