I am a hard-working and responsible individual working towards a degree in High School Teaching in Ancient History, Geography and Society & Culture at the University of Sydney. I am clean, tidy, quiet, respectful, sociable, and financially secure. I work teaching children from years K-6 English and Maths (Monday, Tuesday and Friday), and I have also been given the privilege for a one-year contract to study a topic in Philosophy at Macquarie University. I am a strong Christian. I attend SeeChange Community Church, Jannali.

I have completed a year of Law at Wollongong Uni and am now studying Secondary Education. I am a relaxed person who enjoys going to the gym and hanging with friends. I also work twice a week at a bar.
Hey! My name is Amy and I'm a 20 year old university student. I am studying international studies at UNSW and work two jobs in the city. I am properly house trained meaning I know how to clean up after myself. Can't wait to hear from you :)

I'm a 25 year old bloke, born and raised in Belgium. While I love my home country, I've done my studies in the Netherlands (it's great, they've got the best wishes) and I'm currently getting my master's degree in Physics. I'll be doing an internship at UNSW from March until the end of May. People say I'm easy going, positive-minded and enthusiastic. I'm a strong believer that food brings people together so I love to cook at home and share drinks in the evenings. I'm addicted to caffeine and snoozing and I'm madly in love with gin and spicy food. I'm also a big fan of music and like to dance and have the occasional party.
I'm a 25 y/o Australian working full time as a software developer in the CBD 9-5. I'm looking for a place with friendly people who like to hang out occasionally, but are also willing to give each other some space. Everyone should be willing to clean up after themselves and be considerate of the other housemates. I'm a quiet easy-going guy, I'm reasonably clean / tidy and I occasionally cook. I enjoy a drink or two with a few friends. I love films, rock climbing and sailing.
I am Inez, I have recently moved up to Sydney from Melbourne for a work project. I am a 21 year old working full time in Darlinghurst and would like to find a place closer to the city for the commute to be a little shorter since I work long hours. I am a friendly and bubbly person who attempts to win people over with cooking gigantic amounts of food and terribly delivered dad jokes. I am a very social person, and I would adore being in a social house where we could share a drink or a meal on occasion. However, I also understand and respect personal space and can be quiet and respectful. I do not drive so accessible public transport is a high priority of mine. I have been meaning to explore more of Sydney and so far I have been going to a lot of gigs, bookstores, I read a lot, as well as lots of art galleries and finding solace in a good beer garden. I would hope that I can move in as soon as possible and if anyone would want to have this groovy lady as a housemate feel free to shoot me a message. I also promise to make you cups of tea and sing alternating vocals of Bohemian Rhapsody with you if you ever need it, or just having a bad day :)
I'm starting uni at USYD and looking to live in a sharehouse with other students or people around my age, also keen to join up to start a new share house. I'm looking around the inner west, not fussy about the condition of the place but just want somewhere chilled out & social.
Hi. I'm currently working full time as an electrician in the city but the travel is killing me thus i would like to move closer, I'm very neat and tidy and and i also have a perfect rental history. Call or text me Kind Regards Thomas
Hello Sydney I'm Andrew & my partner is Michelle, we are a very respectful, responsible and domesticated Aussie couple looking for a home not a party pad. We are really easy going, friendly and helpful. Both working, so quality home time is valued and needed. Great cooks and gardeners (I'm a horticulturist & Michelle is a Chef/ Barista/ Bartender) so we can enjoy small social gathering if they happen. We are quite self contained and don't spread ourselves all over the home. We have have lived in many shared places and get along with all ages- except those who require a mummy or daddy.
HI, I am at student at UTS pursuing my master's degree in Human resource management. I am going to start with my 2nd semester and need an accommodation. I am currently on vacation in India, I'll be flying back on the 16th march. I love to meet new people and have a conversation over a cup of coffee or beer. I can cook awesome Indian food as well.
Relaxed and easy going, a clean and respectful housemate. I enjoy a beer or wine, friendly and like to socialise. On the weekends I like to get outdoors and explore, heading to the beach or keeping fit with a good walk or run. I also love to travel. Recently returned from living and working overseas. Looking for a share house with easy going room mates and to call a place home. Work full-time in Sydney in IT.
Hearing alternative opinions to my own is a wonderful thing. I love listening, and also providing my own perspective if it is wanted. I appreciate both company and solitude. I love cooking, eating, and sharing healthy and tasty food. A clean kitchen is something I adore. I beatbox, play didgeridoo, religiously frisbee, football, and communicate. I don't drink much, but embrace a cheeky beverage or two when the time is right. I like providing and receiving positivity, although I am more than willing to give ears to a negative perspective. A nice balance of meaningful and playful conversation is something I enjoy.
Hello, I'm a 30 years old guy finishing my medical studies in france and completing an internship in medical research in sydney. I really enjoy meeting new people and sharing good talk and time out but I need to live in a clean place with respectful people as well.
Hi potential housemates! I'm a easy going young professional, down to earth individual who is about to make the move up to SYD for work. A non-smoker, super friendly, clean and tidy, optimistic and a fantastic spider-handler if the need arises! Besides myself, I have a handsome, super-chill, 7 year old husky boy and Gigi the kitten, who will be joining me on the move up so pets allowed is a must. Looking forward to hearing from you if you think we fit what you're after.
Hi there, The lease ended at my last house and I'm currently looking for a new place to call home. I'm looking either for a room to rent or looking to start a little group and search for a place together. I love to live with people I can call friends and people I can share a cooked dinner and drink or two with during the week. I'm very easy going, tidy up after myself, love to cook and feed others and enjoy a boogie here and there. I have a flexible move in date and I am looking for something more long term but can easily work with short term. If this is something similar to what you're looking for! Shoot me a message! Jen
Hi all, I am currently working full time close to the heart of the city so I am keen to move in a little closer at least for the next 3 to 6 months while I look at plans to make the move a little more permanent. I am easy going, respectful and clean and prefer to relax with a book, Netflix or gaming and prefer a relaxed/chill atmosphere. I am keen to find a social household to help open up my social circles a little and certainly wouldn't say no to doing things as a household or trips down to the pub. 3-4 people total in the household seems like a comfortable amount. While I am a smoker, it is more of a social thing and something I tend not to do on a day to day basis or while at home. I am also able to move ASAP, but there is no rush in needing to move.
I'm a comedian and filmmaker completing my final year at Sydney Film School. I host trivia, do stand up and act where I can to pay the bills. I'm polite, easy going, sociable, respectful and always clean up after myself. I know basic rules of thumb like rinse out your recycling before leaving it in the bin in the kitchen, and don't eat or drink other people's things without asking.
French easy-going working couple, looking for a room in a flatshare in a neighbourhood not far from the center of Sydney (Close to work). We both work in hospitality, Sarah is sommelier in a gastronomic restaurant, Hugo is currently casual job waiter applying in luxury hotels for supervisor. We would be delighted to live with english speaking flatmates, respectful and whilling to share a social moment from time to time. We love food/cooking, wine, cultural stuff, simply enjoying days-off.
I'm looking for just the right person to start a 2 bed house/flat share with. There's really some decent stuff out there to rent and I'm keen to make a new home that works for both of us. A bit about me: I'm a 27 yr old female from Cape Town, South Africa, here doing my phd in algae research. I like doing a lot of regular things: cooking, going to LGBT events, pretending to read books, actually watching Netflix, and painting. The painting part is important, because I'd like to live with someone who enjoys the idea of having someone painting in the living room as apposed to disturbed by it. (I paint quite large canvases). Rest assured I keep it all pretty tidy. Fresh. A great flat mate will be like-minded (up for the odd drunken philosophical discussion), be happy to do equal portions of cleaning, have a job, and be down with said arts and crafts activities. The perfect flatmate would have furniture for the place! This is a big stretch and I will certainly not rule out people who don't come furnished and frilled. We can figure that out later/get a furnished/semi furnished place. Looking forward to finding you my flatmate friend!
My name is Lucy, I'm a friendly and tidy flatmate. I'm currently working in Martin Place for a catering company and volunteering at Greenpeace on their Digital Engagement team. I just got back from a European tour and am residing in The Blue Mountains at the moment, I want to move to the inner-west because I want to live closer to where I work. Added to this I love the culture and friendly community the inner-west has to offer.
Hi, I'm Malthe, 23 yrs old international student out of Denmark who's going to attend The University of Sydney during semester 1, 2017. I've barely arrived and I already enjoy my stay immensely - now I hope to find a nice place to call my home for the semester (i.e. from ASAP to late Juli/early August). Preferably fairly close yo USyd, but a bit of distance won't be a problem to me. I'm a likeable and outgoing person and I have my feet securely planted on the ground, to put it short I'm easy-going and flexible when it comes to how much contact to have with flatmates. I like being social, cooking together or the like, but I do respect a closed door, as I myself from time to time need some alone time. I'm orderly and neat, having lived with my girlfriend and other flatmates away from home for three years I'm used to taking care of a household, though I'm by far not a prune. I like going out for drinks once in a while but I respect it if my flatmates need a quiet evening. Btw I cook a mean curry! All in all, I'm the kind of person who can pretty much blend into any household. Back home I study full-time at Aarhus University. I study Digital Design and I'm really interested in the way so-called digital artifacts shape our reality, and how designers should be concerned with finding a sweet-spot between aesthetic quality and pragmatic usability (I like to call this 'technopoetic design'), but I figure we'll talk a lot more about that once we meet in real life ;)
Hey guys! I'm currently working full-time on the South Coast and looking to move to Sydney around late Feb - early March. I'm an easy going, pretty chilled quiet guy although I love getting to know new people and can pretty much get along with anyone! I love cooking, going out on the occasional weekend for a few drinks with friends but also love quiet nights during the week and relaxing after work, so if you think we'd get along just shoot me a message! :)
I'm a Canberra born and bred pharmacy student at the University of Sydney who's ready to leave the nest that is student accommodation! I love to keep common areas and my room tidy and clean, but I'm far from being OCD. I love to go out on the weekends, but always feel the need to be on top of my uni work during the week. I love having a chat and chill, but appreciate alone time every now and again. I'm vegan, but not the annoying kind (yes, we exist!). If you're part of a pet-friendly household, I also have a particularly gorgeous ragdoll I'm waiting to have move up to Sydney with me at some point. If this doesn't suit, it's absolutely no issue. I also work at a pharmacy on King St every Saturday. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or just want to get to know me a little better!
Hello, My name is Sireshen. I have been living in Sydney for 1 year, after being 16 years in New Zealand. I am a nursing student, and I have just being offered a job in mental health. I believe I am compassionate, clean, honest, tidy, non-judgemental, reliable, friendly, and trustworthy. I am looking to share a home with a person/s who share similar values! I am relatively quiet, and my interests are mainly to do with philosophy, psychology, and listening to music. I don't use social media! Thank you.
Hey dudes, my name's René. I'm 23 which is old as for a student these days. I'm starting my masters in Sydney next year, and this particular flavour of masters focuses on radiation physics in medical context. So like cancer treatment, imaging technology and whatnot. I been out of uni two years now, did the BSc at the University of Auckland and finished up there end of 2014. Since then I've worked a number of different jobs saving those coins. So that's sorta where I'm coming from on the academic side of things. As for me personally I'm pretty relaxed on just about everything. Or think I am at least. I've grown up a wee bit since undergrad and I can't really be bothered partying hard like I used to. I'd rather get stuff done ya know? A few cheeky beers every now and then doesn't go amiss though. I'll probably be out of the house most of the time I guess, between coursework and sporting commitments, some kind of employment and whatever other social opportunities crop up. So if unobtrusive flatmates are your thing I'm your guy. My sport of choice is weightlifting so I got decent at cooking since one of the things we in the community like to do is eat a lot. One-pot wonders are a specialty and a couple of them I have whittled down to an art form. Feel free to ask me about anything else I may have missed in this very general summary!
I'm a professional single female. Working full time and studying my Master degree. I'm not a party animal, and and friendly and helpful but enjoy my privacy and respecting yours. I'm clean, responsible and know how to "adult". Ideally want to share with one person, professional and respectful.
My Name is Julia, I am 20 years old and from Germany. I am searching for a room in a flat not too far from Sydney CBD (max. 30 min drive) with young people. I think I am a nice person to live with because I am not loud, tidy, helpful and friendly. I like to be by myself sometimes to relax, but I would be more than happy to have some friendly, open minded flatmates to hang out with sometimes. When it comes to leisure time, I am really open to many things: I like to go shopping in the city; chill at Darling Harbour, Hyde Park or the beaches; go to bars to have a drink, play games, sing Karaoke; eat Asian food; enjoy the city at night and generally get to know all of Sydney with all its beaches and suburbs. Generally I love to spend a lot of time outside, but I love a stay-at-home-night-watching-movies too.
Looking for a furnished place to move into ASAP for six months plus. Would prefer my own bathroom (or shared with one other). Non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. Animal lover (especially cats) but not bringing any with me. Would prefer an all female flat, or a mix of girls and guys. Please don't contact me for shared rooms, living rooms or rooms split with dividers. I'm 27 years old, working in digital advertising full time and just finished my masters last year. I work in Pyrmont so ideally looking for something within walking distance or close to the light rail or a train station (would consider paying more if I could walk to work). I'm very chilled and sociable, but also like my downtime and respect other's space. I like quiet nights in watching a movie, drawing or learning a new language (I speak six). I also enjoy swimming and trying new cuisines. Bonuses include that I'm first aid certified and am also trained in mental health first aid as I used to be an RA, so I'm great if you need a shoulder to lean on. Things I appreciate in a flatmate are cleanliness, respectful in regard to noise levels and just generally friendly. I've lived in a variety of situations including on my own, in a number of flats with singles and with couples and in a dormitory. Happy to provide references from previous places if requested.
I cook I like a clean house especially the kitchen, though not a clean freak. I am also happy to do garden chores (even a vege' patch) I work as a Sydney Harbour Tallships "Pirate actor" (I have been doing a pirate show for the last three years) Also as a tour guide with Tallships. I love the smell of Real Coffee anytime of the day ..... Sport interested and active. I sometimes do cosplay - medieval re-enacting in the winter months. I have some of my own furniture, and some baggage too .... O well. Into education, currently studying eco/sustainability with Inner West Councils.
Hey everyone! My name is Stefan, i'm currently studying at the University of Sydney for an exchange semester and i am looking for a place to stay for 6 months! I am from Geneva Switzerland, and i speak french english and a little bit of spanish. I am a person organize, relax, respectful, and clean, i always do the dishes after using them, no joking! I am also a person pretty chill, i love to hang out and chill, chill is the major activity in my life. Back in Geneva i study international relations and global studies. I also do a lot of skateboarding, since 13 years old, and i play rugby since 4 years. I am also always up for a little challenge game in Fifa17! My preferences for a type of housing go to a flatshare, i like more the community than the solitary life, but i am open to any other type of housing. So if you have the kindness to host me, i will be very grateful, and i think i can bring a new mood to your flat! Cheers!
Hi! I've just moved to Sydney and looking for a room ASAP. I'm from Perth - and have been living in the UK for the last 3 years, so would love to move in some other friendly, likeminded people of a similar age. New to Sydney so would love to share with people I can be friends with as well as housemates :) I work in marketing and am pretty chilled through the week, keen to get out and explore Sydney a bit more over the weekends! No shared rooms please! Any questions just pop me a message.
Hi! I'm Michelle. I'm a PhD candidate at Sydney Uni. My PhD’s full-time (it's a paid position), but I also work regular hours as a research assistant and do some casual teaching. I'm looking for a large unfurnished room in a clean, quiet and harmonious home close to the Uni. I'm hoping to find somewhere that I can love and take pride in, so would be sure to pay on time, clean up after myself, pitch in etc. I don’t smoke, am not a big drinker, and am more of a dinner-with-friends socialiser than a big party person. My idea of fun is a yoga class, a SUP lesson, a picnic at the beach or an evening in discussing life and politics. And perhaps the odd night out dancing. I'm fairly independent, but would like to have a warm and comfortable relationship with my new housemates. It would be great if we got along and could share the occasional meal or chat. Anyway, let me know if you have a room and think there’s potential. I’m hoping to move in early April and stay until at least the end of the year. Budget is around $300, ideally including utilities. Sadly I'm allergic to cats.
Hi Jan! My name is Jorge (George), I'm a Spanish guy who will spend one year studying and working in Sydney.
I am a responsible, respectful, mindful, neat & tidy, social person. I am aware of giving people their private space too. I am independent and I moved to Sydney from Byron Bay for work. I am a professional working in the Humanatarian sector, located in the CBD. (Normal working hours). I am into health and fitness, yoga, walking, love my coffee, dinning out and travelling. As you would expect there is a lot more about me, send me a message, as I am very approachable, down to earth and have a sense of humour! (Non smoker/Not a party animal).
I do homebrewing and bicycling. I have LPs and comic books and a library. I've lived long term in Darlington - Redfern for 15 years and want to stay in my neighbourhood with people I get on with. I'm degreed with postgraduate work but work as a bicycle courier full time 50-70 hours. I'm mostly interested in sharing a house over a flat due to bicycle storage and loving terrace architecture.
Irish couple living in Australia for the past 6 months. Both fairly chilled out. We are usually pretty quiet during the working week but are up for a bit of fun at the weekends. Clean and friendly to live with.
I am easy to get along with, considerate and tidy. I have respect for people's privacy and freedom and consider myself to be a quiet person to live with. I am good with chores and household responsibilities and am organised. I do not have irregular hobbies and do not have a large amount of personal things (no need for any extra storage outside of my room). However I do need street parking for my car. My job is in a small engineering company in Gladesville.
Hey there potential roomies! My name is Kris, 22 years old and working for a recruitment agency in the CBD full time. I am a responsible, neat, quirky, kind person who is looking to share a home with like minded individuals. I love people and am interested in everything from deep political discussions, pondering the state of the universe to where you got those dope shoes from, Im flexible, open minded and 100% down with peeps from different social backgrounds, cultures, LGBQT, Children, Animals, Aliens, Fairies and misc. I have a cat Zizi Tops, she is fully house trained and awesome (She was raised with dogs so she has developed a bizarre personality) but you don't have to take my word for it, I have references from everyone I live with in regards to her temperament, I actually think people like her more than me.. I also drink wine and play guitar and would love to meet you!.. K.
Hey I am Kat and I'm a 25y/o from London. I have been living in Sydney for about 6 months now and am working as contracts administrator for pharmaceutical company. Hey! I'm a 19 year old Londoner doing a semester abroad at Uni of Sydney, I'm studying philosophy and interested in all things literary and cultural, love to go see exhibitions and stroll around the city! I'm told to be quite easy-going, generally a chilled-out person, I keep myself pretty tidy but i'm no clean freak. I enjoy watching movies, having conversations around a bottle of wine and going out to bars/clubs. I like to sing and play guitar and that's maybe the only nuisance i'll bring to your home (if it is one) I've lived in a flatshare for the past year and it has gone brilliantly! Hope to meet you soon ;) Anna Lisa
I'm an Aussie-asian born and from Perth. Recently moved to Sydney and looking for long term stay with my bf, Andrew. Im a person with cultural upbringing meaning I'm all about being clean and fairly neat. I will make it easy and save you from reading a essay; I describe myself being creative & social as well as interest into yoga, fitness and outdoor activities. Andrew, bloke from Geelong, is a graphic designer. He's not a strong character so you will never get sick of him :). Think of him as a chilled aussie, barely complains and not fussy. We are looking for a private room in a shared house/flat with mates who enjoys casual drinks over dinner, sociable, clean and easy going. Staying 9 months plus further extension.
Hi, I'm a Swedish boy who moved to Sydney to study in USYD. I love to meet new people and explore new places and things. I have no problem with partying and alcohol but at the same time am I really reliable and trustworthy.

I'm a social policy person who's just starting a Phd at University of Syd so it's time to tighten the belt! I work part-time with clients including Monash University in Melbourne. I have some beautiful furniture and a lovely aesthetic, and enjoy good food, wine, design, conversation. Apart from working and studying, I do yoga regularly at a warehouse studio in Surry Hills, walk, swim, eat out and travel. I really enjoy a clean, light-filled, beautiful home to chill out in and would be happy to share the costs of a cleaner. I really like people who are generous, creative, respectful, fun and intelligent. Prefer to live with just one other person.

Hi! My name is Livia. I am from Japan but worked in Austria for last 7 years. I am a professonal shoemaker and going to start work from April in Sydney. I am always very positiv, easy going, creative and respectful for other people. I am clean and very easy to live with. I am used to living with people for long time and I had always good experience with flatmates! I LOVE cooking, traveling, exploring, gardening and meet new people. I wish to find a place where to spend my grate Australian time with nice people! ;-)
I'm from London, have worked in Sydney for just 3 months now and am looking for a nice friendly house share. I'm relaxed, respectful, enjoy a glass of wine after work but also going out and exploring the city. My lease is up 14 March so looking to move to a new place by then.
My partner Andrew and I have just moved to Sydney. He is Australian and I'm on a working holiday visa from Canada. We are both friendly and outgoing. We are tidy but laid back. We are exited to explore the city and it's beaches! I am working in administration for a construction company in Rosebery and Andrew is a chef. We are looking forward to sharing a flat with fun and outgoing people, who like to have a good time on the weekend, but who are more quiet during the week. We are thinking about spending the winter at Thredbo, so for now, we are only looking for a room up until June, or anything shorter.
Hello! We are three full-time health professionals (2 of which will be sharing a room) looking for at least 2 other relaxed and tidy people to go house hunting with in the inner west. The rough plan is to be finding a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom place together for a late March or early April move, where you would be on the lease along with a very cute dog and cat. The upper end of our group budget is around the $1200 mark which will initially divvy up to at least $300 each, less when I (Nadia) move in after finishing up a contract in Newcastle in July, and even less if we find another couple (so, couples very welcome!) We are a chilled bunch, prone to the odd drink after work but never obtrusive or lazy with common area cleaning. Expect the house to be quiet a bit of the time as 2 of your housemates are shift workers. We would love to meet anyone who thinks they would suit the vibe of the house, and get started organizing inspections over the coming month! P.S, as we haven't nabbed a house yet, the costs of each room hasn't been set. Happy to negotiate this further for couples once we start looking for houses :)
Hi, I'm a french student and I'm 19. I'm coming to Sydney for a year. I study modern languages so I speak pretty well english and italian (+learning russian) Looking for cool flatmates to be part of my adventure, discover the country and its culture!! I'm very respectful and openminded, can enjoy a quiet moment with a book as much as a night at a pub. I can be discreet at first, just let me a moment to adapt.
We are USYD students, clean and tidy, living a regular life, and we are both easygoing and independent girl, for most of the time, we'll study in Uni or in Research Center , so won't bother others too much. We prefer live in a Double Room or a Master Room which is close to our Uni. If you are looking for tidy, clean and nice flatmates, please do not hesitate to contact me:) Thanks!
Hey ! I'm a french student starting her second semester at UTS. I travel a lot and I'm ready to share a lot of stories with my future flatmates ! I'm a chill person, easy to live with, and I respect people's privacy. I'm also quite clean and I can cook french specialities :) !

Hi, I am Rhiannon and I have just moved to Sydney from Adelaide to take on a new role for work. I am looking for a private room for rent at the end of APRIL. The room would need to be big enough to fit my queen bed, beside tables and dresser and with a built in wardrobe. I would prefer own bathroom but am not bothered to share with another person either. I am an honest, tidy and trustworthy person with a good sense of humour/cheeky personality at times. Once you get to know me I am a social person that can adapt to a lot of different personalities but do also enjoy my quiet time by myself. I work Full Time and generally work Tuesday to Saturday. I am happy to share with Male or Females, preferably ages 25-40. I do not smoke but can tolerate smoking if it's done outside and away from me. When I'm not working I do like to go out to dinner to many different places, go on walks/hikes and have a drink or to when socialising. If your room or property meets most of my criteria and I am the kind of house mate you are looking for please feel free to message me with pics of the room and apartment available and any questions you may have. Thanks Rhi
