Hi! I'm moving to Canberra for a job and looking for a place to live. I'm clean, tidy and a non-smoker. Happy to hang out with my roommates, but also respect the need for privacy. I'm also happy to share meals and do my share of the cleaning. I look forward to hearing from you. Shelley
I am a friendly, easy going person. I enjoy meeting new people and would love to have some flatmates who like to share a drink and chat in the evenings. I do tend to be more of an introverted personality so am also happy to give people some space. I am tidy (some may say a 'neat freak!') and respectful of shared space. I've been doing alot of housesitting lately, and people often joke their house is cleaner when I leave than when I arrived! I work full time as a Dietitian at Canberra Hospital. I love my job and it keeps me very busy, both with hours at the hospital and I am involved in many extra events within the profession. I spend most of my free time catching up with friends and family, but also enjoy going for walks around the lake, cooking and baking, and reading or binging on netflix. I've also recently joined a social netball team!
A fun and respectful Asian guy Just moved from Melbourne and I'll be working full-time at Kokomo's. Full-time chef and Part-time Snowboard racer. Clean, tidy and organised but not crazy. Will have to be in Canberra for at least 2 years. And I'll need a parking spot. :)
Hi! I am a friendly, easy going Primary School Teacher who likes to keep living spaces relaxed, clean and uncluttered. Already living locally, looking for somewhere closer to my job, but not under any pressure to move. I am also pretty flexible regarding rental time period. For fun, I like to be outdoors, do yoga, dance and watch movies.
Sporty fun guy who loves to camp and travel. Moving up to Canberra for work (unsure when, expecting mid/end year 2017). Looking for a clean, relaxed, friendly room mate who wouldn't mind showing me around Canberra and introducing me to some people. I'm the typical 20 year old male, don't mind a beer, outdoors, adventure, a surf and a bloody good parma. Just finished a three year degree in nursing and will be working pretty heavily over the next couple years to work my way up the ranks. Ahh I don't know what else to write so hit me up if you think we would get along or just keen to catch up when I move up there anyway.
Hi, I am currently studying at Canberra Makeup Academy. I am from Batlow NSW and travelling to Canberra each week for my course so looking to move asap so I don't have to travel all the time. I also work part time. I like being social and hanging out on the weekends but stay pretty quiet during the week. I am friendly and easy to get along with so would like to live with people the same. I really love travelling, going on adventures and doing new things. :) I am new to Canberra so would love to make some new friends.
31 years old, non-smoker, non-drinker, introvert, quiet, respectful of boundaries, responsible, mature, financially stable, and trying to find a place to live with my little kitten.
Hi, I'm David 21 living in Sydney. I'm looking at relocating to Canberra for work. I'm very easy to get along with and can hold a genuine conversation. Hard working and always keep my space clean and tidy up after myself. I can cook (basic). Very light smoker and have the occasional drink. Prefer to stay home and relax watching tv or a movie.
Fun and sociable, clean and considerate. Love to meet new people! I study history part-time at ANU and work in hospitality. I enjoy cooking, all types of fitness, reading and going to art galleries! Looking to move closer to my work and uni life as well as live in a fun, friendly household
Am an easy-going, fairly quiet, professional guy. Recently relocated from Sydney to start a new role in Canberra. Looking for a furnished room for 4-6 months. I am tidy, respectful, considerate and personable.
Passionate, bubbly, fun and super clean, I'm from WA relocating for full-time work in the youth sector, which I am also studying. Ill be bringing my furniture with me as it cost a lot of money and isn't even a year old yet, so a full house set up isn't a problem apart from your own bedroom furnishings. I have a 7 month old maremma pup who comes with me nearly everywhere, she is super friendly, well behaved, trained and has a great personality. Im looking at teaming up in any suburb around canberra for the first week of may which is definitely pet friendly.
On a short secondment for 2 months in Canberra until end of June. Looking for a place that is ideally furnished for short term rent. I work full time during the week and most weekends I'm out. Have lived in share houses before and have a real estate reference.
A little bit about me: I work mostly full time as an Administration and Research Officer while finishing up my PhD part time, and moved here for work opportunities (my thesis is in federal politics so it's kind of the place to be for that!). I've lived in a few different share houses so I'm used to being mindful of others and sharing common areas. I like to have a glass of wine here and there, enjoy grabbing brunch out and just generally exploring what Canberra has to offer!
My name is Latifa. I have a full time job working in the Defense sector and need a place to share for min 6-9 months. I am clean, tidy and quiet and respectful of others. Non smoker. I like to cook and tend to eat at home on weeknights. Happy to share house hold chores to keep the place tidy. I own property in Perth and my family lives in Perth. I am relocating to Canberra 2nd week of May. Looking for a room to share where parking is a possibility (Okay with off-street parking, as long as there is no time limit on parking) and with easy access to public transport to Russell Offices. I have temporary accommodation sorted, so looking for a share house with long term potential. Happy to provide character references from colleagues and friends in Perth as well as a work colleague from Canberra.
Hello ! I'm Chloë, i'm a french student and i'm here for 3 months for an internship in a research lab at the ANU. I'm just a little bit tidy because my english isn't very good (i'm just arrived 2 weeks ago), but i love cooking, talking with other and share with other. It's very complicated to find a place for short term AND clean. Thank you
Hey, my name's Daniel! I'm a 2015 psychology graduate currently working full-time in the public service. I'm looking for a place close to the city, or somewhere near a bus stop. I've got furniture for my room, but can also offer an iron and ironing board, digital piano, and a chest freezer. The place I'm looking for would ideally have a covered parking space, dishwasher, washing machine, and a reasonably-sized bedroom. I am looking to rent for a period of 6-12 months, with a fairly flexible move in date. My ideal housemate/s would be friendly, sociable (but also understanding of personal space), tidy, and of either gender. I believe it's important to have a coffee/beer/dinner every now and then so we wouldn't be complete strangers to each other, but I completely understand if you want your space! Let me know if you're looking for a housemate and I'd be more than happy to have a chat!
Hey :). I work in the Public Service and currently living in my own 1 bedroom fully furnished apartment. I would like to either team up or move into an existing shared fully furniahed accomodation. I am very laidback and quiet person. I am a self confessed workaholic so i often work early to late most days. If youd like to chat more and discuss ideas, please message me :).
