Hey there! I'm Jill- I'm originally from Brisbane so you'll have to excuse the accent but have lived in Canberra for 4 years! I have a couple of subjects left in my degree at ANU but at present am a young professional working full-time! I am looking to live with people who also work/study but are keen for a glass of wine and cheese platter! I've got an outgoing personality, am super clean and love to cook! In my spare time I'm not fussed between going out or staying in and watching RuPaul!
Hi! We are Jeanette and Pontus a couple from Sweden, 23y/o, looking for a place to stay from August to mid/end of November. We are coming down to Canberra because Pontus will be studying at the University in Bruce for a couple of months while I will be working as a professional chef. We are both calm, tidy and social, non smokers.
I come from a big family so have always been comfortable around new people. I take great pride in where I live and like to create inviting, warm spaces. I'm known for having good food and great wine on hand and for throwing fun dinner parties !
Jens and I are 23 and 22 years old, both from Germany and both studying Physics. Jens has graduated already and is going to start his PhD in Astrophysics at ANU. Therefore he will be living in Canberra for at least a few years. I am doing my Masters in Physics and I will come to Canberra to write my Masters thesis in a research group at ANU for about six months. We both like sports and the outdoors a lot and love to go mountainbiking, hiking, skiing, swimming, surfing,... Both of us have lived in shared flats before and like to consider ourselves as pretty uncomplicated as well as clean and tidy. Of course we are always up for a chat or sharing a meal with our flatmates :)
Hi, I'm Amy. Recently returned to Canberra after 15 months travelling, working at a cheesery in Tas, and doing a bit of this and that around Aus and Asia. I like cooking, gardening, gigs, art, whiskey, and cheese. I also come with an adorable mini border collie named Cookie. I'm keen to find a social household with eclectic interests (but who pay the rent on time and are opposed to mould and mice in the house). Hit me up!
Hello! I have just moved from Sydney from a dream sharehouse for a public service gig and looking to replicate similar level of happiness. Previous housemates may describe me as having good banter, social and organised. Also appreciate my down time too. On the lookout for housemates who are easygoing, fun and woke in a place with a good vibe!
Hey my name is Monique. I'm an international student moving to Canberra at the end of July to study at UC for a year. Looking for a furnished room (or not) somewhere close by. I've shared apartments before so I know how it goes. And no, my dog isn't coming with me sadly. Would love to share a place with someone who has dogs.
Hey so I'm Josie and am currently living in Macgregor. I am currently part time at plush in Fyshwick and will start study again at UC in August. I am very clean and tidy, I respect others, I don't party but I normally will have one friend at a time coming and going from hanging out. I would prefer someone who is clean as I don't need to clean up after other as I normally did when living at home. I love Netflix, play Xbox, draw and enjoy camping even tho I haven't gone in a bit.
I'm friendly, quiet and clean. I enjoy hiking, running, snowboarding & hanging out with my dog Remi. I come from Melbourne and am moving to Canberra to work full time as a public servant and am also studying my masters of International Relations. I would enjoy having a chat or a beer with you but am also happy to have alone time.
My name is Shekh, pronounced like milkshake, only without the oil money or an Etihad firstclass cabin full of falcons. Perhaps one day a Jetstar supersaver bundle of pigeons. I'm a 27 year old ex-Canadian part-time shift-working junior doctor. My sleep and work schedule are erratic but I've lived with some more clockwork oranges and it's been a nonissue. I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, or fall in love, but regularly rock out to music that glamorizes these things (...all music?). I don't know what else to say to convince you I'm not a delinquent while simultaneously repelling delinquents. I'm just trying to save on overhead and split some bills with another human being without having to marry them, in a spot with heating/cooling, a washer/dryer, quality internet, enough space for my sit-to-stand desk, mutual respect, and firm shower pressure.
Scottish gal in Auz looking for some cool people to live with in a clean comfortable home : ) Been in Auz for over 2 years and recently moved from Sydney for work and also because Canberra is cool and has no Sydney traffic : D I'm a laid back chick who loves good food n wine, health n fitness, travel, music, art and hanging out with like minded people with good energy n awsome stories to share x I am clean n tidy, a tea genie and can cook a mean omlette and tasty crepes 😋 my crepe pan goes everywhere with me. I'm a working professional in optics and work isn't my life but take passion in everything I do. I am currently working in the Belconnen mall and will prefer to live walking distance or city bus to and from work. Looking for short to mid term stay in a furnished room and if people and a place are right for each other then let's meet. Contact me here if I sound like Ur cup of tea. Available for viewings asap and most evenings. X
I like my home to be a sanctuary - a bit of a retreat space from a busy life. I like my own space for reading and listening to music, but also I'm quite sociable so its nice to have people around for chats and a meal. I love to cook for other people - it's much more enjoyable than cooking for myself. I love animals and I wish I could have my own dog but thats not realistic at the moment.
Hi, My name is Gabby. I am going to be moving to back to Canberra very soon from Melbourne I have just got a job and will move up in August-September. I am a complete whovian and so have lots of Who related stuff. I am a big geek and love being so. Interested in many things arts, politics, culture and love to talk. I have a pretty good friendship group in Canberra and am looking forward to moving back. I am quiet and considerate having lived in a few long term sharehouses. I do have furniture but I don't have to bring it with me as I am renting out my apartment here in Melbourne. I hope what I have written has piqued your interest in meeting me. Cheers, Gabby :)
Hi, I'm moving from Sydney to Canberra in 1st week of August, and I am looking for a furnished room in a share house of maximum 3-4 people. I just finished my masters and soon would start internship (3 days a week) at an IT company in Sydney CBD. So I would spend 3 days a week in Sydney and rest 4 days in Canberra. I would work part-time at Jamison coles (I would do night shifts between 7pm-1am). I'm extremely neat and tidy, and I like to keep house neat and clean all the time. I used to stay at UC Village with 4 other people, I understand meaning of sharing the apartment/house :) I would take online lecture during the day (around 1 hour), so I would like it quiet. I'm not party animal at all, but would like to catch up on drinks occasionally. In my spare time I love to workout and explore new places around the city. Plz text me if you think you got a place for me. Cheers :)
I am a 20 year old female working full time in the city. I am desperate for a place to live long term as the place I am currently residing at, the lease ends on the 9th of August. I have lived out of home plenty of times and am very reliable with rent. Happy to provide proof of paying rent at my previous rental places. :) please message me on here or on my mobile on Thank you!!
G'day there. Easy going Aussie guy with an awesome half sized kelpie (2 yr old) billy. He grew up and lived me in a pub that I was running recently so awesome around homes and people. I'm a rugby nut, Australias first openly gay 1st grade premiership coach . Moving from perth over to ACT to be back close to family and friends and to give the Canberra lifestyle a go. Will be working in hospitality and involved in rugby so won't be around much! Usually up most mornings to take Billy for a run and try to get out and about at some other time during the day so he (and I) get plenty of exercise. Love going for a few beers/dinner or just chilling at home over a bottle of red (don't mind cooking the odd meal for my roomies if we are all home and keen to catch up every now and then as well).
