Irish male moving to Canberra for a PhD at the Australian Institute of Sport. When not busy studying or doing research, like to have fun by watching most sports and always up for a laugh. Non smoker and enjoy cooking.
Hello, I am Mengchen a 23 year old graduate from ANU. I am working full time as Software Engineer now. I want to look for a shared house with a single room myself. I hope the Internet in the room is good and there is a at least off-street car park for my car.
- Moving to Canberra from Newcastle to study at UC - 27yo, lived in share house environments for the past 7 years - Reliable (rent + bills paid on time), respectful, clean, tidy, laidback, good for a laugh - As I'm moving to a new city, I will be looking for casual/part time work to commence as soon as I can - Worked in the health & fitness industry for the past 4 years so living an active, healthy, #fitlife pretty much sums me up - Enjoy getting outdoors, exploring and adventuring, experiencing good quality food as well as hanging out with family and friends - I get along with all animals (dogs in particuarly) so no problem there if the house has pets - I'm a non-smoker, not a big party animal but don't made the occasional drink here and there - Would be looking to move in the weekend of 05/08/17 - As I live in Newcastle, NSW, coming to view/inspect the room is a bit of an issue but as mentioned above I'm quite laidback so I'm sure whatever photos you provide will suffice - If you'd like to have a chat and get to know me more I'm happy to talk on the phone or via skype Cheers, Toddy
I'm from the mid north coast and David is from Sydney. We are moving down as we are both about to study at UC. I play professional cricket and I'm down here for the season to play and train. We are both outdoorsy and love camping. We are both really active. We are into crossfit, go mountain biking, play golf and David has recently taken up archery. We are tidy af, super easy going and fun to be around... and we can cook up a mean feast!
Hello future flatmates! I'm a final year Arts/Law student and I work full time at a publishing firm at Parliament House. After deferring uni last semester to undertake an internship in Berlin, I'm looking for a new place to call home as soon as possible! You’ll find me to be an upbeat, uncomplicated, tidy and considerate housemate. I really love to cook and I enjoy a good chat (with or without a glass of red wine). When I’m not baking or cooking up a storm for friends and loved ones (housemates included!), I’m either volunteering, reading books, watching foreign films, learning new languages, trying out new restaurants, at the gym, going out for walks (and purposely getting lost to find cool stuff!) or travelling. While I’m just as happy to be alone doing any of the aforementioned things, I’m always happy to have company too. Looking forward to hearing from you and creating Canberra's most fabulous sharehouse!
I'm friendly, easy-going, conscientious, neat and tidy and pretty quiet. I work full time as a vet nurse, a job I absolutely love. In my spare time you'll find me relaxing, watching a movie or TV show, going to markets, out for dinner or walking my dog. I'm in no way a party animal, though I'm not opposed to a glass of wine or two. I like to keep a clean house and nothing annoys me more than people who can't clean up after themselves. I really have no huge preference to suburbs in Canberra. So yes, I have a dog. I also have two cats. Tommy is a 6yr old DSH who does nothing but sleep. Maxie is about 1.5yrs, also DSH. She's very sweet and a bit of a homebody. Roy is a small poodle mix, 7kg, about 1yr old, quite timid when he first meets people but a real character once he's happy and comfortable. The cats are outside during the day, inside at night and, being a vet nurse, I'm lucky enough to be able to take Roy with me to work every day! Both cats are litter trained and Roy is house trained. All three are up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatment. Can provide referees.
My partner and I are looking for a place while we work full-time in Belconnen. We are both 18 and new to Canberra having move up from Ulladulla. Preferably we are looking for a 6 month lease around Gungahlin or Belconnen areas.
I am a PhD student from Paris, visiting ANU until August 22. I like cooking and sharing a meal with my mates, exchanging on what they do, but also on arts, philosophy and music. Love to hang out with my mates, discovering new places with them (like museums but also in the beautiful nature that you have around the city). As usual, I go early to the office like 8-9, and come back for evening time
I am a female 20 yrs old non smoker looking for somewhere to move into as I only have 4 weeks left in my house (government housing) due to living with a family member who recently passed I am unable to stay here because I'm not on the lease. I work full time in hospitality in the city so money is not an issue, preferably looking for a place that has bills included with what I pay so it's easier for me. :) also have my own bed and a few other little things. Please message me on here or alternatively feel free to send me a message!
I am a 4th year student at UC. I will be returning from 8 months overseas on July 29. I am looking for a place within walking distance to Uni of Canberra or a short drive away. I am very friendly and am looking for a house or apartment that has a great vibe as I want to live with roommates who I can hang out with, have drinks with and movie nights with. I am a student so I prefer to live with other students, or young professionals in their early to mid twenties. I love to cook, go out for drinks, travel, swim in rivers etc and am easy going, clean and pretty easy to live with!
Hey there, I am Thomas. I grew up in Paris and studied Earth Sciences in both Paris and Zürich (five months). For the next three to four years I will be studying at the Research School of Earth Sciences of the ANU as a PhD candidate. I am definitely easy-going, love listening to music, enjoy meeting up and partying with friends as well as watching movies or playing games. Not the best cook, expect me to try, but success is not always there ! Most importantly I would say, always paying attention to others and ready to give a hand !

Hey I'm from India.Coming to Australia for my Masters, searching for a place which is in the Proximity of ANU. I am a very organised person and I love cleanliness . I Love to travel and party. Hope to find a nice place for myself.
Hey there! I'm looking to make the move to the ACT in late August - mid September from the NSW south coast for work and to begin my studies. I'd say I'm a great, easy person to live with as I like to keep things clean and tidy, am a reliable person when it comes to paying the rent and do respect the privacy of others. I do keep to myself most of the time and do appreciate my quiet time to recharge, but am always up for a stimulating conversation with a few good laughs thrown in over a good meal or a coffee as well as getting the opportunity to meet new people and develop friendships. I'm an active person - in my free time I enjoy keeping fit by going for long walks, the gym and have been involved in sport and fitness most of my life. I also enjoy getting out of the house and going for nice long roadtrips and stopping off to new places to explore.
Hi, I'm Amy. Recently returned to Canberra after 15 months travelling, working at a cheesery in Tas, and doing a bit of this and that around Aus and Asia. I like cooking, gardening, gigs, art, whiskey, and cheese. I also come with an adorable mini border collie named Cookie and a super friendly (normal sized) border collie, Pippen. I'm keen to find a social household with eclectic interests (but who pay the rent on time and are opposed to mould and mice in the house). Hit me up!
Hey im a full time student at UC looking for a shared house or room. Im a student so i prefer to live with students or fun people. Im always up for any interesting activities. I dont mind smoker because i smoke too sometime but I can smoke outside for people who doesnt like it. I am pet friendly, cannot cook but I can try.
Hi, I'm Gillian! I've been in Canberra for 6 months, originally from Melbourne and working full-time in the APS. I'm very easy to live with, clean and respectful. Happy to have the odd drink or meal with housemates, but equally happy doing my own thing. Food (or perhaps eating) is my calling - I love finding new places to eat, enjoy reading in my spare time, attempting to grow plants and spending the odd pyjama day on the couch binging on trashy tv. Ideally I'd like to live with someone like minded, but am pretty flexible in who that or they may be. I don't have much furniture wise (other than for my room), but have plenty of handy bits and pieces for around the house.
A little about myself: I'm a 21 year old arts student in the final year of my bachelors at ANU. I consider myself pretty easygoing and uncomplicated; I'm not a neatfreak but I'm tidy and know how to clean up after myself. Happy contribute to keeping common areas in a good state too. My interests float all over the place, but at the moment I'm into photography, reading, philosophy, film, and the outdoors. I like to cook vegetarian food, and love sharing a good meal and a chinwag. Equally, I'm happy doing my own thing and enjoying a stimulating read, or singing and strumming (quietly!) about on my acoustic guitar. I'm a pretty sociable person, and enjoy an occasional beer or glass of wine.I cycle basically everywhere and have learned a thing or two about basic bicycle maintenance, if ever there is a need. I've previously lived in shared accommodation of varying sizes. While I'm studying, I work casually to support myself. I have few other expenses, so my financial situation is pretty steady. I'm looking for a lease of atleast 6 months, until I graduate from my bachelors. After that, I'm not entirely sure what my plans are. I will likely stick around in Canberra and do a few internships or continue studying. Ideally looking for somewhere in the Inner North, but I'm flexible provided it's within cycling distance of the ANU! Cheers :)
I like books, camping, composing, interesting chats and funny people. I'm a part time piano teacher, and full time student entering my final semester of Politics Philosophy and Economics / BMus. In my free time I love to jam. Last year I was Woroni's International sub-editor, this year I am focusing more on study. I'm overseas right now but ask for my Skype, and shoot by any questions. I don't bite :)
I'm a graduate engineer moving up to Canberra for a six-month rotation in August. I'm an easy-going sort of guy and I always clean up after myself. I like to hang out for a chat if people are keen but otherwise I'm happy to respect everyone's privacy. I like to keep active, play sport socially and just generally be outside. Photography is also a big hobby of mine.
My name is Rifa, female, early 20s, currently looking for a room to move in as soon as possible. A little bit about myself, I’m a full time international student from Indonesia doing post-grad study at ANU. I also work casual in Peppers in Acton. I'm tidy and respectful but also keen on hanging out with friends and hitting the town occasionally. I have been sharing houses and apartments before. Rifa
