Originally from Melbourne, I'm a public servant looking for a homey share house close to work. As a housemate, I'm generally reserved but like to chat and have friends over occasionally. Our idea of fun is board games over coffee. In the week I tend to stay out and keep busy in the evenings, and I usually spend weekends at home doing chores. I might make a bit of noise with my acoustic guitar occasionally, other hobbies are soccer, reading and (surprise) Netflix (not a surprise). I value house etiquette and when everyone shares the load with cleaning and house management. Indeed, I'm at a stage in my life where a pile of dirty dishes bother me. Looking for 6 months or longer, the longer the better I suppose. Happy to answer queries, can be flexible for inspection times :)
If you’re looking for a housemate who is considerate, gets along with anyone and fun to be around- then that’s me! I work in the entertainment industry (lighting/sound) and are looking for a place to stay while i work full time in Canberra. I am very easy-going and practical person who enjoys cooking, keeping fit, gaming, Netflix and music. Love socialising with housemates but also like to have my own space every now and then. So Hi, im Tristan. Feel free to message for anything
hi im jessie, dog person (i dont know why but cats beat me sometimes) just moved to canberra a week ago after post graduated. i had lived in the same shared house for years and keep a nice relationship with (almost) everyone there. im clean and tidy, not cook much, vacuum my room every week and sometimes the public area (depending on the length of the wire). btw I’m in my late 20s, become less mouthy these years. it took me days to finish this description. my budget goes 280 in city or 250 for kingston around.
Hello. My name is Daniel, I'm 22, and I am looking for a place to live. I'm current in my last semester of studying part time at UC and I also work full time in retail (the dream). I like musical theatre, reading, gaming, weekends away, napping, and binge watching tv watching shows in my downtime. I work most weekends, but I am always happy to have a chat over a drink/dinner or whatever every now and then when I am home. I would say I am a relaxed but reliable, and tidy person who is respectful of other people and their personal space. I’m looking for somewhere close to the City/Belconnen/Gungahlin areas, but I would be chill with anywhere close to a bus stop with access to the City. If you want to know more just ask! I can provide rental references for the last few years. I’m also open to team ups. :)
Sydneysider turned Canberran. I'm a young professional who works at Parliament House and in Barton. I love making the most of the outdoors, and incredible food scene. I travel a lot and enjoy coming home to a glass of wine and netflix.
Hi, I’m a 27 year old female looking to find a room in share house. I work full time as a nurse here in Canberra. I don’t have pets or children. Please let me know if you have a room that you’d like to show me 🙂
Looking to move to Canberra when I return from overseas. I’m 24 and have lived with housemates for years. Been back packing since January and need somewhere to live when I get home. Currently applying for jobs in Canberra. I am a qualified forensic scientist and criminologist, looking to start my career. Plan on getting a casual job as soon as possible, once I move. I’m tidy but not a neat freak. Currently know nobody in Canberra, so I won’t have parties! Looking for a friendly but fairly quiet house to live in.
I’m 37 yrs old male, working for DHS in Greenway. I play video games or watch Netflix most of the time when at home. I also like to cook when I have time. Easy to get along with, respects people’s privacy, and do my share of chores. Also, I go to Melbourne every other weekend.
Hi! My name is James, I'm British, 29 and moving to Canberra next week to start a full-time job on 30/04 which I'm pretty excited about! I've never been to Canberra before but I'm sure it's as fantastic as everyone says it is! I see myself as a fairly easy-going / outgoing person who is looking to settle into Canberra life quickly and it would be nice if I could achieve this with a little help from living with some interesting people. Not essential but would be an added bonus! I'll probably be arriving in Canberra around the 24th April so I'll only be able to have a viewing after this point but I wanted to register my interest anyway. I'm interested in short term lets or something longer term if it's a good fit. No real preference on area, as long as it's not too far from the central part where I will be working. I'd like to ride my bicycle to work so up to 10km away would be the rough limit. Get in touch if you can help, please! Thanks James
Hi everyone, My name is John, I'm a 28 years old professional who works full time (and then some), just got sponsored by my company (really happy about that). I had been living in Sydney for the past 4 and a half years. Newish to Canberra. I'm a respectful and friendly guy who finds it very easy to get along with pretty much anyone, mostly keep it to myself, but am more than happy to socialize, share a meal, a beer (or a couple). I also take pride in living in a clean and organized home (wherever home might be) so will always be a positive influence in leaving the place looking nice, like to clean often, have my own portable vacuum etc. I have shared houses, flats plenty of times before and made some of the best of friends while doing so. I like sports, going to the gym, the outdoors, road trips, surfing, camping etc. Would need a parking spot big enough for a 4x4. It would be a big plus for me if the place had a dog as I love animals (cats, dogs, parrots you name it) All the best, Cheers
My partner and I are responsible young adults looking to move out for the first time. We are both recent graduates from Lake Tuggeranong College. Ben has a full time job and I am currently studying at CIT 4 days a week. We are tidy, non-smokers and we are more than happy to be social with flatmates. I don’t tend to login to this website very much and I don’t pay for it so if you’d like to team up and start a new sharehouse or if you think you have the perfect house for Ben and I, please message me and I'll give you my number. Thanks everyone!
My name is olivia who come from China, living in Melbourne right now.I’ve been Australia for five years. I will be study at JP international college in May， so I'm looking for a single room to live. I’m a quiet and friendly person, and I never made one English speaker friend, I always prefer to hang out with Chinese，which makes me feel more comfortable， because I was too shy to talking with English and have no confidence，but I decided to change, I wish to make local friends to share different culture, for example， I can teach you mandarin if you are interested, and you can teach me or correct my English pronounciation，we could shopping together and hang out together, that'll be very cool Please feel free to contact me if you are a friendly person with a room available for me. Please text me with information of your place and price. This file will always be valid until I delete it. Thank you very much!

Hi I’m a hard working single male. I work full-time. I don’t drink do drugs or are a party person. I’m happy to chill out after work having a chat, watching tv or relaxing in my room. I probably won’t be around on weekends much as I like to go fishing, 4WDing or go for a ride on my bike. I’m pretty easy going and get along with pretty much anyone and I also respect other people’s boundaries and privacy. I’m looking for something ASAP as I’m currently on a mates lounge and it’s a bit uncomfortable lol.

Hi :) I am Faisal. I have just moved from Brisbane to Canberra for work. I am pretty chilled, social and tidy. I like outdoors, love going to the beach, hikes and scuba. A normal week is a mix of work and gym. I believe mutual respect is very important to have a good environment at home. I am very considerate and like to relax over good music and some drinks.
Hi, I am a 25 year old from the Central Coast. I have recently relocated to work full time for the Southern Local Health District as a Finance Officer. I am in my last year of studying Bachelor of Accounting. I am reliable and easy to live with, happy to do my own thing but also happy to hang out and have a chat. I like to keep my self and my room tidy, and am happy to help out around the house. I am interested in sports, movies, gaming, eating out, travelling and am looking to travel to the snow to learn to snow board. I will be commuting often back to the Central Coast to see family on some weekends.
Looking to move to Canberra with work shortly (looks like June at the moment). I work M-F, 9-5ish. Pretty easy to get along with, non-smoker, clean and respectful, and don't mind a quiet drink or two occasionally. I like my home to be tidy and clean, and I'm respectful of other flatmate's space and possessions. I'd like to share with someone similar, friendly, and respectful. I tend to keep quiet through the week, and get out and about on the weekend. Looking forward to exploring Canberra and what it has to offer. At home I generally like my down time on week nights as work and I start my day early. I'm not looking for a party house. I'm a fairly social guy, friendly, but I can sometimes need some alone time too. I'll have little belongings with me it'll be in storage back home. Looking for a place close to transport. I reckon I've covered most bases. If you want to know anything further, please don't hesitate to message me.
