I am a 25 year old Marine Science graduate from Sydney and recently landed a position in AFMA. I am really easy-going, get along with pretty much everyone and enjoy a good laugh and chat after work with my housemates. My interests include Snowboarding (I will be down at Thredbo most weekends in the winter), Water Skiing, Soccer, Music Production and SCUBA Diving. I also like things to be clean and tidy and the places I have rented previously I have kept my room and the general house in order. I am relocating from Sydney and I need to have things in order before I commence in Feb. Ideally I would like to be moved in and settled between the 15th - 30th Jan. Looking for a place to rent in Braddon Canberra or surrounding suburbs for ~1 year. I am keen to join a share house or team up! Open to a chat if you would like to hear more about myself :)
HELLO EVERYONE!! My name is Emily, I currently work as a nurses assistant for Calvary but start a new government job in Jan, located Belconnen. I'm easy-going, reliable, sociable, considerate and respectful of the privacy of others. I enjoy cooking, health and fitness. Looking to find someone with simular interests to mine, preferably wanting to rent a room in the Belconnen area, walking distance to my new job. No specifications on gender, looking for a friend as well as housemate :)
Hey! I'm Sandhya. I'm moving to Canberra from Perth, WA to start full-time work with the Australian Public Service next year. I love a good cup of coffee (but I swear I’m not a coffee addict), enjoy watching soccer (and playing it) and am always up for a game of monopoly, cranium or any other boardgame. Looking for a housemate that I can share an occasional meal with when we’re both home or chats over wine. Most importantly, I’m tidy (with a love of on point design aesthetics), respectful of personal space and down time, and can contribute top notch baking skills.
I am a 25 year old public servant and I am currently looking for somewhere central, inner north / south, Inner Belconnen reigon or central Gungahlin. I am a fun, friendly and easy going person. I’m generally pretty busy during the week with work and on weekends I tend to spend time with family and friends but I do enjoy hanging out at home just to relax and do nothing. I’m not a massive party person but I enjoy being social! So I’m always keen for a chat and to hangout :) I love to cook and watch Netflix, that’s basically me in a bubble. Food + Netflix. Looking for some like minded people to live with! Happy to go anywhere between 6 - 12 months (even longer if possible) I also come with a queen sized bed that I’m not willing too part with (it’s too amazing haha) so the room would need to be able to fit that and storage for my clothing or come with built in robes. Also, I am unfortunately super allergic to cats so I wouldn’t be able to live with them. *sad face* but dogs are completely fine or any other pets :) I do have a boyfriend (who is currently on a volleyball contract in Germany but will be back april) and he normally stays over a few nights a week, if you aren’t okay with this then I’m probably not the right fit for you sorry! I was originally looking to move ASAP but now I’m hoping to move out end of Jan / Feb 2018. If you think I suit what you are looking for fee free to shoot me a message!
I'm probably one of the most considerate housemate you'll ever meet! Easy going and clean and tidy. I keep busy with my hobbies which include photography, dancing, yoga, travel, walking my dog and bush walking. I'm always up for adventures and on weekends you'll find me out on my SUP, mountain bike riding or swimming at the cotter. I don't watch TV but can often be found watching SBS catch up, netflix or stan as a way to chill out and switch off. I'm not a party animal or have guests over very often as I like my space to be a place of refuge and zen, but I will have the occasional night out with friends every once in a while. I work full time in the public service and have been employed in the same department for the past 8 years which pays the bills, but my dream job would be a national geographic photographer travelling the world. I have a dog who likes to sleep in the sun all day and when she has humans around, she just loves attention and cuddles. She's both an inside and outside dog but happy to work around this if needs be. I'm looking for a place I can chill that's kept clean and tidy and have equally considerate housemates who are happy to have a drink and chat every now and again. Thanks!
Hi, I am jamie, I am starting work in Canberra early 2018, and am looking for a share house in or around the cbd/ Kingston areas. I don’t drink, and I work a lot. Weekends, I am off and out trying to find new and wonderful cliffs to do rock climbing. My work will see me travelling 30-40% of the time. Would like to share with a happy group of people who respect people’s space, as well as being fun at the same time. I am happy to discuss any opportunities available. Would want to start early jan 2018. Would be really impressed if could find someone who is into rock climbing also (I have plenty of gear, and would love someone who would love to join me) I have been working as an L&D consultant for the past 18months, spending a lot of time in the uk, uae, Ireland france and Indonesia.
Hello! I am a Belgian student who is going on an adventure in Australia. This adventure consists mostly of fulfilling an internship at the Belgian Embassy in Canberra, which means I will be at the embassy during the week. I was hoping to find some fun roommates to share this experience with. I am a very sociable person, enthusiastic, energetic and on top of that I am tidy with a good sense of Belgian humor.
New to Canberra and looking for a flat with a good social vibe but tidy and respectful flatmates. I'm working full time, on that 9 to 5 office grind, so nothing too crazy. I'm a relaxed kiwi who enjoys cooking, sports, gaming and good conversation. Happy with the counter-culture rebels or urbane elites as long as you are friendly and put your dishes away!
I'm a 22yo female student about to commence a 9 month radiography placement. I am a clean and tidy person and considerate of others in shared living spaces. I am easy going, enjoy an active lifestyle and socialising with friends. The 9 months needed for accommodation could be indefinite if work is offered to me upon completion of my placement.
I'm a friendly, outgoing person. I like to keep my spaces clean and organised. One of my biggest strengths as a housemate is my flexibility, I'm always open to sort out stuff as a group. I'm currently studying a double degree at the ANU which I'm enjoying very much. I'm dedicated to my studies and it's my main focus. I'm very relaxed, not much of a party person, but I enjoy chill evenings with friends and am always up for a chat.
I am currently 22 years old and have just graduated from university. I currently work in hospitality, but am looking for a job, that uses my degree. I currently work in hospitality. I am clean and quiet, but am open to social drinks and shy, but will open up once I get to know people
Im career orientated and an animal lover. I like to go out and socialise but also like the other end of the spectrum and have my time. I have two beagles and I would be lying if I said they are well behaved however they are well loved. I am an easy going person and always willing to help out around the house! Because of my animal situation I am happy to pay more on rent then others in the house. The location in canberra does not bother me as I move around in canberra for my work. Look forward to making some new friends!
Hi there! I am a boy from China that currently study Psychology in the second yr at ANU. I am very friendly and happy to chat with anyone. In addition, I am good at some Chinese cuisine and pretty excited to share it with my mates. I have very adaptive living habits, clean and quiet at nights, but if someone loves party I could join you as well! Hobbies are sporting, cooking and socialising. Prefer sharing the house with either boys, girls or anyone. Cheers guys!
Hi! I'm 23 years old I work full-time at the Crawford School of Public Policy as a research analyst, and I work as a TA at the Political Science/International Relations Department. I currently share-house with some amazing friends in Turner, however after 2 years here I'm looking for a larger bedroom! I work A LOT, usually travel on weekends, and my spare time I like to run/gym and go out to dinner with friends - not home much! Looking inner-north and city (Braddon, Turner, O'connor, City, New Acton, Reid) with preferably one other person! Please contact me if my dates (move in - December/Jan - very flexible!) and location might be of interest to you! I'm easy-going, extremely reliable, clean and I make great coffee.
I'm working and studying at the University of Canberra. My career is in the IT industry so I am handy to have when the devices stop working. I love to binge on Netflix shows and am happy to do that with others or in my room when people want their privacy.
Looking for a place with similarly mellow flatmates who are up for exploring or having a chat, but also respect downtime and privacy. I have a car so a car space would be great. I work full-time in the public service, am a non-smoker and I don't have any kids or pets. I'm a pretty easygoing guy and am often keen to hang out with mates, grab a drink or hit up a gig - Spilt Milk and Sia coming up! At the same time, love quiet time and movies and tv shows, but above all I love the beach (I'm from Sydney originally).
Hello, my name is Michael. I am a international student from China studying at UC. I put most of the time in part-time working and studying as well. During the spare time, I like playing basketball or going to the gym, or just reading books at home.
Hey, I'm looking for a room in Braddon, Turner, Acton, Reid, or Civic. Ideally, I’d like to find a place with a decent sized bedroom, my own bathroom and car park. But even more important is finding fun, friendly and sociable housemate(s)! I'm pretty flexible with move-in dates. A bit about me: I moved to Canberra from Perth at the start of this year for a grad position in the APS. Next year I’ll be in the same department and I’m also considering doing a Master’s part-time at ANU. I’m 24, a non-smoker, pet-free, I don’t take drugs, etc. I’m also very neat - I’m happy to send a photo of my current place! I’ve lived in a number of share houses over the years (with guys and girls), so I’m pretty sociable and easy to live with. I’m a big fan of social sport, cooking, casual drinks, music (I come with headphones), and solid TV series (think Game of Thrones, House of Cards and Veep). Let me know if you think I’d be a good fit! Sam :)
Super outgoing, approachable and enjoy long random conversations. I'm a pretty good cook and very tidy. Things I like to do is to go out a lot such as shopping and clubbing after a busy week. And if not I'll probably be studying for hours or sleeping. I'm planning to commerce my undergraduate studies at university and find a part time job as well. I'm looking for flat mates who are around my age or early 20's. Someone that is good at socialising and pretty chilled to be around and friendly
I have a very balanced lifestyle. Between working full-time in a hotel and hanging out/walking my dog, I also love to cook, watch TV series and going out with friends. I am able to give my housemate as much space as they like but also enjoy a chat or maybe a beer together once every week or 2. I am extremely clean and tidy and although I like to hang out with friends I tend to do that outside of the home, and keep the home I am living in quite quiet and comfortable. I own a lot of my own furniture already and am happy to share what I already own. My dog is beautiful to live with, I take him out for walks everyday as to keep him happy and calm, but he does love a cuddle. Currently sleeps inside but I can arrange a kennel for him outside if needed.
Melbournian moving to Canberra for work Dec/ Jan(flexible) in the public service. Relaxed, tidy and independent. Can be social, but also really enjoy my down time. Reading/Binge watching TV shows/etc. Looking to live somewhere fairly central. Given I've spent my whole life in Melbourne, the people i know in Canberra can be counted on one hand...and if i lost a few fingers in an accident, they could still be counted. Friends are nice. Feel free to shoot me a message with any important questions that might make or break this partnership.
