Hey! I'm moving to Canberra from Adelaide in Feb 2019 to start as an APS Graduate (I know that's still a long time away but I thought I might try and get a jump on the crowds..) I'm looking for a share house of people who are easy going, who enjoy sharing a meal and a few drinks, but who are also respectful of the need to have time alone. I've lived in share houses for the last few years and have loved it - I'm friendly, very relaxed and more than happy to pull my weight with cleaning, cooking etc etc all that fun stuff. A little more about myself... I love hiking, camping and getting outdoors, I try to ride my bike wherever I can, and I try to live sustainably. I enjoy cooking (especially Mexican nights and Taco Tuesdays) and Netflix binging in my free time. If you think we'd get along and you might have a free room around the start of 2019 please let me know! Cheers :)
Hi, I am moving to Canberra for a new job. I am a professional and have a well behaved kelpie dog. I am easy going, respectful, clean and enjoy socialising and also my own space. Looking forward to meeting some like-minded people as I am new to the city. My interests include outdoor activities, sport and learning new things.
Just a normal guy. I am really only interested in living with one other person although i might consider more than one in a big enough house. Someone easy going and not to fussy. I like a clean house but i can leave a plate in the sink too. I can be social yet i also enjoy alone time and need some privacy to an extent. I am a Chef and i love cooking. I enjoy all kinds of food. I don't really care about your diet Eg: vegan or whatever, but i can't stand being lectured on mine!! Food is awesome, enjoy it!! I have a few hobbies and would love a veggy garden or a herb garden at least and i also want to grow mushrooms. All legal and legit of course hehe. I have been wanting a work shop or space for some time so that would be a huge plus for me.
Hey, I’m looking to find a place around Braddon. With a Lease of 3 months or long term if I like the place. I’m 37, work in hospitality and look for a place to stay asap. I’ve been living in shared places the last couple of years and see myself as a easy-going, clean and respectful person. I’m happy by my own but don’t mind to hang out for a drink and chat, game. I’m new to Canberra and look forward to explore new things. interested in comedy events, movies, golf, fencing, archery, free diving and soccer. Look for a place where I can have a parking spot or garage.
Hey there! I'm Eryn and I'm quite the dynamite gal. I've just completed my Cert IV in Musical Theatre but will not serenade you with broadway songs if you do not wish for me to do so. I'm a pretty arty person and love to draw/get my art on and obviously perform. I'm currently working 3 jobs in children's entertaining/educating and customer experience. I'm a fully grown child and love to watch anything disney (classic and pixar), however, I do respect that some people need the living room to study or to remain quiet for other reasons so I will hide in my room until one of us is ready to have a study break/wants social time. As a theatre girl, I would consider myself outgoing (but not whack job crazy) and unlike a lot of theatre stereotypes, I'm not at all judgemental and am super welcoming (even if I'm the one being welcomed). Let me know if you have any more questions about me and if you're interested in having me as your new roomy!
Hi there, I'm Freya! I'm from Melbourne and I'm moving to Canberra for work! I've recently graduated from Uni and am looking for an awesome roommate/s to have the occasional Netflix and wine night with (or Stan, whatever floats your boat)! I'm a very social and friendly person who is super keen to meet people in Canberra, but I also totally value my alone time to recharge. I like to keep super active, and you'll probably find me out jogging or exploring on the weekend. Hit me up if you think we'd be a good fit!
I am a 25 year old incoming graduate student at ANU and I'm from the Philippines. I'm doing my Masters in International Development and Economics. I like to read, surf, run and travel. I love pets but won't be bringing any of my own. I've been working as a banker for the past 5 years which means I am a very exciting and fun-loving person. I'm pretty outgoing but also enjoy my alone time. I can also mix cocktails but I'm not a very able cook.
I am a 22 year old full-time public servant that moved from Queensland to Canberra in January last year. I am easy-going, but respectful of shared and personal space. Most nights you’d find me in bed before 10, so I’m definitely not a night owl. I enjoy socialising over dinner or a glass of wine, but I’m just as happy to leave a housemate/s be.
I'm a full time professional looking for a tidy share with friendly housemate(s), preferably a master/large bedroom. I drive, gym, cook, read, movie nights, socialize etc. I'm considerate to live with and easy going. I have a bed, desk etc to bring, Happy to share a meal and drink or chat.
I am graduating from uni soon and starting a full time position with the public service. I am friendly, funny, clean and quiet and can be flexible with moving dates. I'm always up for a glass of wine and a cheese platter! I enjoy having my own space but also love going out for dinner or watching a movie on the couch. I'm hoping to have my cat live with me eventually, she currently lives in Sydney and is very well behaved. Hope to talk to you soon!
Max, 25 years old, from Toulouse (South of France) and moved to Canberra in Feb 2018 working for Airbus Defence and Space as a Business Developer. I would describe myself as an aerospace enthusiast that loves to travel around the world and broaden my horizons in much subjects like foreign cultures, nature, photography, basketball, hiking or scuba diving to name but a few. I easily get friendly with people, respect their own space and being involved at home keeping the place clean. House-trained for some time now I can get you references from people in France and Australia but also from my workplace. (actual and previous) I am working full-time in Brindabella Business Park (Canberra Airport) but happy to share some time afterwork. I am not Paul Bocuse but I really enjoy cooking meals/baking. At home I enjoy TV shows, listening to music (vinyl records), reading books, taking care of plants, also love all types of animals and spending as much time as I can outdoor (love going to the coast, skiing in the snowy mountains...) Actually staying in Canberra I will be glad to meet you if you may seem interested in my profile.
Hey....I am really cool and flexible. I am single, working full time, from India and not having any pets. I am a person who appreciate cleanliness and keeping the places near and tidy! I enjoy my leisure by watching movie in my lap, hearing music and exploring places. I am sure I will be an excellent addition!
I'm originally from Canberra and just moved back from Bathurst to start a job with Parks and Conservation. I will spend most of my time during the week at work and sports training, on the weekends I tend to get outside. When I'm at home, I love to cook, clean and relax! I'm easy going, always up for a chat, but like to wind down pretty early most nights.
My name is Daniel, I am 19 years old, currently studying in CIT Reid, working part - time. I am really clean, like to meet new people and respectful of each other space. I love pets, yet I do not have one. I am interested in any locations not too far from the city.
Hello, I am a working professional moving to Canberra for a new job in the public sector. As a friendly, clean, respectable and helpful father of 2 who also live in Canberra, I hope to find accommodation alone or with just one other to share. I enjoy visiting art galleries, museums, classical music, wine tasting and walks.
I'm an Honours chemistry student at ANU who has a graduate job lined up from mid-2019 onward. I'm very friendly, clean and easygoing. I like the outdoors and staying fit, and spending time with friends. I travel when I can, and love trying new things. As a housemate, I'm independent, respectful and reliable. My current contract ends in November but I can move in October.
Hi =] I'm taking on a new graduate position as a public servant and recently graduated from my masters and am looking to move from Melbourne. I think most people would describe me as friendly, approachable with a dry/sarcastic sense of humour (sarcasm is like my second language). I'm pretty chilled, enjoy a drink here and there on the weekends and make a really awesome mushroom sauce (best with steak or any pasta). I enjoy cooking (I find it almost therapeutic - so you have to be willing to be my guinea pig on new recipes) and smacking a few golf balls at the driving ranges. I'm more than happy to sit there on the couch and listen to you vent and giving you advice on all matters to do with life (I did a double major in law and psychology so I feel semi qualified to give you some advice LOL) and I'm pretty OCD with cleanliness and hate to burden others with my own mess as a matter of principle. Message me if you think we'd get along as housemates/friends/heck I may even be your long lost sister from another mister who knows =]
