I am a 32 year old Public Servant who is originally from Sydney but moved to Canberra 5 years ago for work. I have previously lived in shared houses and am well-trained :) I am really easygoing and in my spare time like to go to the Gym, locate new venues for weekend brunch, go hiking or play board games. I am also a bit of a history buff :) Looking to move closer to work in the city—ideally looking for inner north suburbs of Canberra and a 6-12 month lease
Hey! My name is Leah and I'm a second year student at the ANU. I've lived independently for a year now so I know the etiquette of a sharehouse quite well, I've always paid my rent on time and generally a very busy reliable person. I love having people over but I will definitely respect privacy and the needs of others if I am sharing a house. In my weekly schedule, I am volunteering, working part time and studying full time so I won't be around too much.
I'm moving to Canberra from rural NSW but have been living in Sydney for the last few years. I'm about to start a job in real estate at the end of Jan. I'm looking for flatmates to share in a nice, friendly house that respect privacy but are also willing to socialise, I am very easy going, clean and am used to living with others. Message me if you're interested!
Hullo! My name is Allan and I'm the Publisher of local entertainment guide BMA Magazine, so I'm happy to share information and tickets with potential flatmates. I'm a second generation Canberran yet spent eight formative years in England in my youth, so have a slight British twang to my accent. I love pina coladas and getting caught in the rain... Actually that's a lie. I prefer being safe and dry, comedy, board games, films, reading, and Other Stuff Humans Do. I can lend a sympathetic ear/shoulder, or give people their space, and have been told my sense of humour is passable.
Moved to Canberra last year and in need of a new place to live 😊 I love getting outdoors and going on adventures or hanging out with friends. As most people are here in Canberra, I work in the APS I am clean and friendly and always up for hanging out with my housemates but like most people I sometimes need some space haha.
Hi, I’m Ashleigh and I’m 26. I work full time at KPMG and will be studying part time this year. I like to keep fit and active. I enjoy hiking, walking around the lake, and I play baseball socially. On the weekends I’m usually down the coast camping/fishing somewhere with friends. I grew up in Canberra, I’m a local, and have some family here too. I’m easy going and friendly. I do enjoy some down time, with a glass of wine and occasionally watch a Netflix TV series. I also enjoying cooking, every now and then! My current flatmate is moving overseas, so I need to find a new place by Feb.
Hi, I am an Italian man and I am going to start an internship at the Italian Embassy in Canberra. I kindly ask you if is possible to rent the room for a period of 3 month. From January to April. I am friendly, clean and tidy. I cook well and it could be the chance to taste some good italian food ;) I am willing to pay up to 200 AUD pw. From the first of February to the first of March my girlfriend will come to visit and we can pay more in that period. Thank you for your time. Antonio Vigilante
Hi there! I am a student moving to Canberra for 1 year to work while completing a postgraduate degree. I love animals but sadly will be leaving my dog at home. I am typically a quiet person when at home who prefers to relax by going outside or watching videos/movies. I clean up after myself and enjoy gardening and adding some green touches! I prefer to cook my own meals at home most of the time but do enjoy going out to try new places to eat. I will have a busy schedule so wish to find a place that is calm and quiet. Hope to be in touch soon!
I am about to start a full time grad position within the public service and am leaving Brisbane to move to Canberra. I've lived in share accommodation for the past six years and so am very easygoing and clean! I'm always up for a chat but respect people's privacy if they're in the mood to hibernate. I enjoy exploring new places, reading a good book and having a glass of vino!
I am a swimmer, trail runner, hiker, skier, cyclist, reader of chinese/japanese/english stories, keen to watch theatre and attend concerts, fan of classical/disco tech/bonnie iver... Coming to Canberra to work at the ANU in economic policy/research project coordination. In the home, I'm easy going, listening to music, like to have dinner parties sometimes and also enjoy lone reflection and reading. I think homes is a place where you should be comfortable and can be yourself. For me, a basic level of tidiness is important. My ideal housemate/s should like what at least some of the above. Look forward to finding out more about you! I'm coming to Canberra at the end of the month but looking to move somewhere more permanent in February
Hello, im Deniz from Germany. Im still looking for a short term about 2 months in the whole canberra area. I don't wanna lease anything. I'm moving to Canberra from Sydney at the beginning of February to start a job with the Department of Social Services and am looking for a room in a friendly share house. I'm 24 and have lived in share houses for the past 4 years, so I am used to living with others and sharing responsibilities and costs. I'm super easy going and can get along with all types of people. I love being able to hang out with my housemates, and share meals or watch TV together, but also value my own space and respect that of others. I'm moving to Canberra on the 2nd Feb and have booked a hotel for the first 3 weeks, so am hoping to find a room to move into in that time. I am also free to travel to Canberra to check out potential rooms throughout January. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or think I could be a good fit for your home :)
I've recently relocated to Canberra for a role in the public service. I'm looking for a decent sized room in an established share house in the city or inner northern suburbs. I'm very tidy and friendly, and I like to run and cook. I have bedroom furniture in storage and am ready to move in in late Jan or early Feb.
Me and Dawn met in college and quickly became good friends due to mutual interests in artsy stuff. She does embroidery and I write. We love Thai food and Chatime. Chill people who literally do picnics for fun and skateboard on uni carparks in winter at 3am. We decided to live together because she loves my cooking and I couldn't have survived without her memory on assignment due dates and responsibility towards anything and everything. We hope to find a new empty place or meet new housemates and form a sharehouse. Regardless, just a couple of students looking for accommodation. Currently both of us are overseas (Singapore and Malaysia) so my number isn't Australian but I am reachable by whatsapp, just in case.
Hi I’m Hannah, a 24yo originally from Melbourne and will be new to Canberra at the end of January to start a public service position. I’m keen to find a room in an established house, ideally somewhere within bike riding distance to the centre of the city. I have shared houses for a few years and am a quiet and considerate housemate, respectful of personal space and like to tidy up after myself. After hours, I enjoy wine and cheese dinners and beers on a Friday, but I am also looking forward to getting out and about in Canberra! To balance out the fun, I also try to be reasonably active in my down time (incl. social sport, running, bike rides and gymming). I won’t have much furniture initially, except for my bedroom set up and a few kitchen items, though I am also interested to team up for a new place etc. If you’re looking for more information about me or think I’d be a good fit for your place, please send a message and we can connect through social media etc. Cheers, Hannah

I’m moving to Canberra in February to start full time work within the APS. I’m a typical Melbourne girl who loves sport, brunch, Netflix and travelling. I’d love to find an existing sharehouse or create one that is really socially active and keen to explore Canberra with me.
