I'm clean, tidy, considerate and generally quiet. Love having tea, coffee, beer or wine and having a chat. Unfortunately not a party person anymore, more of a fan of drinks and conversation. I work in IT full time, 8AM to 5PM with some occasional overtime. I'm a passionate Formula 1 fan and spend the occasional late Sunday night watching the race. I've been in Canberra for the last 15+ years. I'm looking for a medium to long term room so I can have some financial stability, preferably 6 months or longer. I'm moving house because my current housemate/landlord of 3+ years is moving to Melbourne, so I need to find a new place. While she's been an absolutely lovely housemate, she's very quiet, so I'd ideally like a place where conversations are more the norm than the exception. I've listed suburbs in the city because I'd like to be able to walk to work, but I'm happy to look further abroad if there's a good bus service available. I've got a car but prefer to bus to work so I've got a good reason to leave on time.
Hi! We're three students studying at ANU for a year on an exchange from the Leeds, in the UK. All three of us have been living in university accommodation for the past few months and miss the comfort of living in a house. I'm Dan, 22, and I'm in my third year of four at university studying geology. I love keeping active and spend a lot of my spare time playing sport. Jacob is also 22 and studying for a degree in sustainability. Peter, 20, studies politics and is a fantastic chef! We're all clean individuals that enjoy a good chat but know how to respect each other's space. We're here until next July and would look to pick up a lease in early December in a perfect scenario! Cheers and I hope you'll consider us :-) Dan, Jacob and Peter
I'm moving to Canberra in January to begin work as a 2018 APS grad. Currently I'm finishing up my psychology degree in Newcastle, then will be travelling in Europe for a couple of months and moving down to Canberra after the new year. I start work on January 31 but happy to move in earlier than that and get settled into a place. Interested in meeting new people, getting to know Canberra, playing sports etc. I'm looking to a find a place within walking/cycling distance to Civic and ideally close to shops, restaurants. Prefer a place where everyone is clean and tidy, friendly, open for a chat and just generally laid back.

Can chat about almost anything but down with respectful and open minded people. Come with a Black German Shepherd, he is extremely well trained and difficult to not love. Looking for like minded group who don't mind a casual chat over wine every now and then but otherwise keep to myself. Move date flexible. Looking for 9 - 12 months
Hi! My name is Flavia. I'm open-minded, multicultural, love to cook, eat great cheese, drink a glass or two & chat with flatmates, bush-walk, watch documentaries, World Cup Soccer & independent cinema. PS - I'm a carnivore but some of my best friends are vegetarians/vegans...I'm responsible, tidy & sociable & looking for like-minded, interesting people to share with. I grew up in Sydney and have travelled extensively throughout Australia & overseas for my work in TV media production. Working outside Australia as a Video Journalist ( a one-woman roadshow as researcher, journalist & camerawoman), my specialities were making videos for humanitarian agencies. Now I'm moving to Canberra to take up a full-time job in a humanitarian agency in early Oct. I have a daughter but she'll be based in Sydney, with her Dad, for these months that I'll be sharing house. I'm looking, in the short-term, for share accommodation from Oct-Dec17.
I am an easy-going person. I respect other's privacy and I am clean and tidy. I am mostly at home working a freelance job online, or I will be out and about for a part time job elsewhere. I own an Abyssinian cat, 3 years old, she can be lazy and playful at the same time. She will take some time to get use to the environment and strangers, but once she is comfortable with you, she would be a good TV companion :) I am looking for a place that would accept cats. Other things about me : freelance editor/videographer, multimedia designer, adventurous, loves to travel, sporty, ambivert Feel free to contact me for team-ups or for room availability :)
I’m a friendly and clean working professional. I have a full time job and also work part time coaching and doing the marketing for a gym where I spend a fair bit of time (don’t worry I’m not one of those crazy fitness fanatics that judges everyone’s and eats kale for dinner ha!). I love good music and will often be listening to Aussie bands and triple J. I love going to gigs and any kind of markets around. Interested in teaming up as I have to move out of my apartment and have plenty of furniture. Also happy to sell said furniture for the right room in an already established sharehouse. Just want to be closer to shops, the city and my work. I respect your privacy but am more than happy to chat and have dinner too! Let me know if you wanna meet up for coffee..or ciders :)
I'm a 25 y/o female who's easy going, social and tidy to live with. I love the anything outdoors, active and/or health oriented. I'm not really a partier but am always up for activities and/or a glass of wine. I'll be relocating from Brisbane as I have just taken a job with AIHW. I have never spent much time in Canberra and know very few people so am looking for friendly and social housemate/s.
I'm Matt, from Newcastle/Sydney. I'm moving out of a sharehouse in Campbell and looking for something smaller and more modern. I am tidy, respectful and friendly as a housemate. I enjoy afternoon beers and playing pavarotti to my pasta sauce while it cooks. I work in the APS and love football (soccer).
I have been renting a private Granny Flat since 2012, sadly the property is going on the market to sell. I keep any where I live whether it be mine or rented clean & tidy, I am laid-back but not lazy, I am social as well as enjoy my own space & quiet times, I respect others space.
Very cleanly person and easy to get along with. Will do whatever needs to be done around the house and am very cooperative. Love pets and animals and am a very active person. I work at industry clothing 4-5 days a week and am also on the verge of completing a personal training course and beginning work in a gym!
From Melbourne, moving up in early 2018 to work in the Public Service. Clean, easygoing housemate. Will bingewatch almost anything. Can cook, but keen to broaden my repertoire. Fan of AFL, cricket. Love a good book. Also play the piano (but with headphones on when necessary!). Frequent purveyor of heavy sarcasm.
I'm originally from central NSW, moved to Wollongong for uni and then came to Canberra in 2015 for a job in the public sector. I'm a seasoned veteran of the sharehouse, I'm super tidy and respectful of others' spaces. I haven't had any conflicts with my previous housemates to date and while I'm probably a bit more inclined to do my own thing than most I'm by no means a social hermit. I'm happy to accommodate your friends if the sentiment can be returned. I love traveling (actually I'm returning from a trip to the USA at the moment, hence looking for a place), also enjoy cycling and motorcycling, reading, Netflix binges, craft beer appreciation sessions and stimulating conversations about history, politics, society or pretty much anything if you're knowledgeable and passionate about it. If you think you could live with me or you have any other questions, please don't be shy! Cheers
I'm from Tanzania, I will be visiting Australia and working for a hotel - Hotel Realm, Canberra. I will be working there as a front desk agent for 12 months. I'm very clean, easygoing, charismatic, always smiling

Intern at the Danish Embassy and will be here until February 2018. I like things nice and clean and I enjoy being social with other people, but respect a closed door as well. Being in Australia for four more months, I enjoy experiencing the culture of the country and travelling as well. However quite evenings are as well preferable in the weekdays. I'm pretty flexible with things and use to get along with all kinds of people :)
I'm a PhD student and research assistant at ANU research school of biology and CSIRO. Male, 29, quiet, from Newcastle Australia. My routine is mostly at the lab until late, including weekends. I rarely cook, don't party but I'm still social, also kind and considerate. My current accommodation is at a share apartment that is destined to be sold. Single, no pets, don't smoke and drink on social occasions only. I'm searching for a single room in walking distance to ANU. I one is available, I'm keen to meet, greet and get more details.
