Hi there! I'm an civil engineering professional moving from Sydney to Canberra for work. I'm friendly and easygoing, most of my previous roommates in Sydney have became friends of mine and we are still in touch. Generally speaking I'm very quite and love reading, working, watching movies and play games by myself, but I also enjoy spending time with roommates and friends to cook, play or simply grab a drink and chat from time to time. I'm currently looking for a long term place to stay. Even though I put my preferred stay length as 3 month, I would stay for 1 year or longer is the place and roommates are suitable. Feel free to call or message me, txt msg is preferred. Many thanks!
Hi I'm Matilda. I'm an easy going, clean and friendly 20 year old who works at a bar on the weekends and at a golf club during the week. Wanting a place to call home. I have my own bed so don't need furnisher. I don't have a car, but if you are near any bus stops that would be very handy. Like a to have a chat, but am respectful of peoples space as well.
Hi, my name is John, 33yrs old, single male with a military background. I enjoy exercising, listening to music, going to the movies, fishing, mountain biking, running round the lake, having a drink at the weekend, and astrophotography. My story: I grew up in Scotland and joined the military when I was 20 yrs old. After serving in Afghan, I worked in maritime security (Indian Ocean), then I moved to Australia to follow my then girlfriend. The move to Aus was easy as my mother was born here but moved back to scotland at a young age. This has allowed me to hold an Aussie passport from birth. Once I arrived here, I did the typical tourist thing and bought a van (from Kings Cross) to tour the east coast; Sydney to Cairns. The van broke down on the first hill out of Sydney (true story) which was a bummer but all part of life’s rich tapestry I imagine. After travelling, I picked up work with a commercial bomb disposal company. I now work as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician and travel around Australia/Asia Pacific clearing sites. I work away from home 2-4 months of the year. Lastly, the disclaimers; I am tidy, respectful of others privacy and accomodating of others needs. I am always willing to help where I can as your flatmate.
Hi! My name's Liska, I'm 22, and studying Classical Chinese and translation at ANU. Looking for a place to stay for a few months in Canberra until I finish my degree. I keep my space tidy and am always keen to plan and cooperate over chores. I enjoy chatting with housemates when we're in the kitchen or lounge together, would be open to cooking together too (although I'm vegetarian)! I can make you very good margaritas and I keep a stock of ingredients. I spend my free time listening to music, seeing friends, writing and playing video games. I usually head up to Newcastle once or twice a month to see my girlfriend and family for a few nights. I'm looking for a room with easy biking to ANU, ideally sharing with one to three other people. Let me know if your place sounds like a match!
Hello! I have relocated from Brisbane for a grad role here in Canberra. I'm 22 and like to live a pretty routine lifestyle throughout the week, but love to get out and about, and away for the weekends. I am hoping for easy going and social housemates, who can appreciate clean and tidy shared living spaces. Looking to team up with some like minded people to create a happy, home away from home.
I am a 21 year old fourth-year Law and Economics student at the ANU, and very clean, tidy and respectful. I currently work 3 part time jobs, as a contract paralegal to a government department, in after school care, and an extra in television and film, along with being a sub-editor for ANU’s student paper, so I am generally very busy and barely at home! Apart from that I am usually studying or at the gym. When I am home I like to relax, socialise a bit, and catch up with my favourite shows on Netflix. I’ve been sharehousing for the past two years and always pay my rent and bills on time, and I have never had any rental disputes. I can provide rental references upon request. I'm looking only in the inner north location at the moment, close to ANU and Civic, as I rely on my bike for transport. Let me know if you have anything suitable :)

I've just moved to Canberra from Sydney to start an APS Grad job. I'm always up for a chat but also respect other people's privacy and space. I'm easy going, I clean up after myself and I keep common areas tidy. I enjoy cooking, hiking and unwinding with a glass of wine. I'm flexible with move-in dates but would prefer between the 17th and 30th of April.
Understands priorities, ie rent/bills above all else. Responsible pet owner, my feline is very important to me. Social but also pretty quiet due to study(teaching degree) Musician, dont stress, rehearsals are at the studio. Likes to cook. Not looking for a party house. I'm easy going, clean and neat, sociable and respectful of other roomies' privacy. I've lived in house shares for a year now am a fully "trained" housemate. I'm a professional therapist, working part-time and relatively new to Canberra. I have a Jack Russell female dog who is equally chilled. I'm here in Canberra for a year or two while I update my degree in psychology. If my dog is an issue, I'm prepared to home her with a friend.
Hey I’m max I moved out of an abusive environment when I was 16 and never looked back, I really want to finish yr 12 at dickson colledge but won’t be able to unless I can find long term accommodation. I’m trying not to stress but i only have 3 days to move out and nobody is replying which means I will end up homeless again. I was staying with some really nice people but they are moving out of state in two weeks so house has become unavailable, so as soon as a place is available I would move in immediately. I have a job at a wearhouse and work as much as I can. I’m a clean, consider others and hope you can look past the fact I’m 17.
Hi there! I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne and am looking for a room for around 3-6 months, preferably beginning within the next 2 - 6 weeks, and in the $100-150 range. Pretty flexible with location (north, south, etc) and not fussed if furnished or unfurnished. Am a tidy, clean person, good with animals and generally quiet but more than happy to chill out with housemates :) Willing to split bills and obviously do my share of housework. I enjoy gaming or heading out for coffee/movies/casual drinks in my free time. Let me know if you're interested!
Hi! I have recently moved up here for work. As I work full time down in Tuggeranong, I am looking to share a house on the south side, however, depending on the house/price etc, I could live anywhere that's close to transport. I have a car as well so some form of parking is a must. I have all the usual qualities you would expect from a flatmate - reliable w/ rent and bills, clean, respectful, sociable. I play music (piano and a bit of drums) but keep the noise between business hours ;) I am looking to pay a max of approx. $220 per week, but can be flexible. Please get in touch if you have any questions or offers. Looking to move by mid April at the latest! Ta Owen
Hi there, I'm Desmond, I am a digital designer working full-time at a graphic design studio in the north side. I have been in Canberra for a while now after spending time studying in Melbourne and looking to make the next move into another place. I know how to cook, clean and pay bills so if these are your focal points then don't worry, I have that covered. When I am not at home I like to go for a cycle, play the guitar (bass, if you want to learn I can help you out), do some cooking go for a walk. I can only write so much in this description, so it is better to talk in person over a coffee or tea... Just give me a call to arrange a time! **I'm interested in teaming up to rent a place as well. Just give me a message**
