I'm very social (but know how to respect boundaries and personal space) and would love to develop a good relationship with any flatmates! I think of myself as quite easy going, but I think the main factor here is that I AM VERY CLEAN. Working well together is a major plus. As someone who is a recent high school graduate and is moving out for the first time, I know this is a completely new way of life for me and am willing to adapt too!
Im laid back and pretty chill, i always clean up after myself. I'm a book ethusiast and watch netflix, plus play the xbox when I'm not working or go see bands like amity and Bring me the Horizon. currently getting back into fitness, and living a heathy life style.
Hey guys! I'm Tahlia! I'm currently living in a share house on the north side of Brisbane but I'd love to move out and get closer to the city. I'm 21, turning 22 soon. I'm a very quiet and reserved person but I love to have a laugh. On one hand I'm quite the hermit, I'll happily sit at home and do a Netflix Marathon all day but on the other hand I love to be outside and exploring new places or going to the beach. I'm a non smoker and rare drinker, I don't like to party and I go to bed early. I'm a musician and a beginner pole dancer. I love food, books, photography and videography and if there's an animal around, there's a 100% chance I'll talk to it rather than any humans nearby. I have a pet - you'll need to be open minded because she's a rat. I know I know, a rat definitely wasn't my first choice of pet either but she was so darn cute I couldn't resist! She IS strictly an outside pet though but she comes inside for cuddles. I also have a gorgeous cat called Turtle who lives with my parents - I would love to bring her up to live with me if it's at all possible but it depends on the living situation. I need to move into a place where I can put my car under cover or in a shed and I have a jewellers bench that I also need to put somewhere - a shed is ideal for that too. I would love to live much closer to the city, 15 minutes or under would be amazing. Travelling to work from where I live now is getting super expensive! I'd also prefer to move in with just one person. I also ask that my new roommate doesn't smoke please! If i sound like someone you would like to live with, feel free to contact me and we can meet up for coffee and chat sometime!
I'm from California and just graduated from UQ. I'm returning from holiday and would like a temporary place to stay near my work as I look for full time. I'm VERY clean, non smoker, rarely cook and keep to myself. Although I'm not completely anti-social. I enjoy girls nights in but also having a beer with the boys and watching tv. If you'd like to know more, just ask! :)
Hey guys! Looking to find a place to ideally share with another couple. I'm 21 a registered nurse and Sam also 21 is currently completing an electrical apprenticeship - both work full time. We do have a small English Staffy (Bear) who adores humans & other dogs. We are both clean & respectful people but do like to socialize on the weekends every now and then! As I am a shift worker we need people who can be respectful of my odd sleeping hours. In our spare time you'll find us playing with Bear, at the beach, shopping, cooking/eating, playing computer games and probably watching Netflix 😊 Message for more info!
Hi :) Im 25 work full time as a nurse. Im friendly and easy to get along with. Im respectful of peoples privacy, clean, don't go out and party a lot.
Full time worker seeks new lodgings for himself and his altogether more adorable greyhound, Gretel. I am housetrained, friendly, financially stable and easy to get along with. I also have a house full of furniture which I bring to this equation. Pretty chill about who I live with so long as you're easy enough to get on with and not a serial killer. I've been living and working in Ipswich for a few years, but a work promotion sees me needing to work out of South Brisbane daily. Thus, a move back to the big smoke is called for. Happy to move into an existing place or to set up a new one with one or two others.
Hello 😊 i am a very happy easy going person ...i have a 4 yr old son i see once a fortnight...im clean and tidy and i work very hard..im very kind and not judmental..im also a musician ..i have alot of respect for people
We are two Brisbane based university students seeking accommodation as of roughly the 10th of February. We are friendly, clean and relaxed occupants who spend most of our time working part-time and studying. Although we are alwayd down for a chat or a few beers or even the occasionally household taco fiesta night. We own two lovely tame rats who sleep most of the day and are very cuddly and easy to maintain. Rental references are available upon request and we look forward to hearing from you :)
I work full-time as an accountant in the valley. I'm originally from South Africa but have lived in Aus long enough to be considered true blue. Aside from bean-counting I like playing a bit of music and keeping active (I play indoor soccer and like to do a bit of running/cycling).
We are looking for a large bedroom and some storage space, easy to live with , clean and quiet both of us love riding our bikes 🚴. Holly will away on placement to finish her Uni degree most of the time and I work full time but when we are around just like to relax and cook.
18 year old UQ student with a part time job. I'm clean and tidy, friendly and all for socialising if fellow housemates are up for it! I like to cook when I can, and I spend most of my free time playing sport/exercising/eating (lol) and hanging with friends. Every few weekends or so I go down the coast for a mini getaway. I love dogs. Happy to do a team-up, although I only have furniture for my bedroom, and a massive dinner table. I'd chip in to buy secondhand stuff though 👍 Also I'd prefer a house over a townhouse/flat.
Hi I'm Hannah, I am 19 but mature for my age. I am going into my third year of Interior Design at QUT. I have a car so a parking space is necessary and would ideally like to be located near a train station. I have lived in a share house for the past 2 years so know how to live peacefully and understand and respect other people's privacy and property. I have always paid everything on time. I am neat and tidy and pretty social - love a good chat, movie nights or afternoon bevos. I am always down to do something like suss out new cafes or going for walks. Please swing me a message if you're keen to team up!
Clean and tidy, I have a clean as you go mentality. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates, and hope to find a place where you're not just people I share a house with but friends I share a home with. I do however spend a bit of time in my room and keep to myself so I'm not going to be in your face but happy to do dinners together (I can't cook, be prepared to eat raw unflavoured food, I apologise in advance) or casual drinks at home on the weekend. I'm a first year accounting student at QUT, so public transport nearby would be fantastic. I do have a car though, so I need undercover parking whether that be a garage or carport. I also have a border collie puppy so we need a pet friendly share house with a large fenced backyard (preferably tall fencing, as I think she's going to be an escape artist). It would actually be fantastic if there was another dog to share with too. A bit more about me... I'm Irish Filipino, grew up in PNG but have been in Brisbane for 18 years so technically I really grew up here! I go to the gym several times a week, I have been recovering from a few injuries lately so it's kept me at home. I'm the type of person that will push myself at the gym but later go home and eat an entire pizza.. I have no will power. If you eat clean, please show me your ways lol I'm single...I don't want to live with couples or single 40+year old men, nor families. Just like-minded people my age that are dog friendly would be amazing :)
Friends since high school, lived in Brisbane 3yrs, if your house is close to public transport we are interested. If you have a cat we are VERY interested. Not a couple. We are looking for two private rooms
Both Steven and myself are very tidy and currently live in seperate share houses, He is 24, works fulltime with the Redland City Council, surfs in his spare time, we both live quite fit and healthy lifestyles. I'm 19, I'm a second year apprentice electrician, also work part time at McDonalds, in my spare time I love to go on small adventures, draw and also game, so we both keep busy! We're happy to keep to ourselves but don't mind a chat as we are friendly and respectful people, but understand personal space and boundaries, living in share houses we both know common sense when it comes to cleaning and other people's belongings. Neither of us smoke and only occasionally have a few drinks but not party people. If there's anything else you would like to know just ask!
I am an easy going, laid back and am told that I am easy to live with. I like to spend my spare time at the beach or bush walking when I am not working, and a great fan of going out for lunches or dinners with friends. I am sociable and friendly and would like to share with someone who doesn't mind chewing the fat over a glass of wine at home occasionally. I love animals, so would not mind if animals were at the property. I work at UQ in a professional capacity and really enjoy my job. I'm a happy positive person and like to surround myself with like minded people. My ideal would be to find a place with a pool, a space with off road parking and a fairly big room with built ins and own bathroom. I don't have very much furniture, however I do have a desk that I like to work from when home, so would like to have space for that.
I'm a positive and fun-loving girl, easy to get along with, and quite clean. I am a full-time student studying BusMan/BIHTM at UQ, and currently work as a casual/part-time waitress. I'm from Brisbane but want to get out of the Redlands and move closer to the city. I enjoy hanging out with friends, attending live music events, going to the beach and going on little adventures. I also love to travel, and am always planning my next trip well ahead of time.
I'm tidy, respectful, hygienic, honest and self reliant. I'm a qualified sparkie with a reliable job, I like 4x4ing and riding moto, I've always lived at home but I'm more then eager to move out and experience living with other people aside from friends and family. I like socializing but can also respect boundaries and can analyse situations quite well. I have no debt meaning I can pay rent on time every time, I don't smoke and am out most weekends. I'm a team player and can get along with almost anyone. I hope to find a genuine group of people with the same attitude as myself. I am keen to move out sooner than said date if need be. Feel free to msg me, I'm pretty easy going.
Hi I'm Zoey, I'm 28. I'm a freelance Graphic Designer and Photographer (work from home). I live a creative life so I do enjoy my time alone but I also like to be social as well – love a glass of wine...or two! I also like to get out to see live music when I can. I'm friendly and tidy and enjoy reading, music and going to the beach. I'm looking for a nice place in a good location with my own bathroom :)
Hi guys, I am a german international student and I have been living in Aus on and off for almost three years now. I am studying a Master in Accounting and am working in Retail and Accounting. Previously I have shared a unit with my partner, but unfortunately he is moving away for work next year. Hence I am on the hunt for my next place. I am fairly easy to live with, quite and clean. My ideal place would be quite and kept clean with people who prefer a nice drink and a chat over a big party too. I am pretty open to the area, as I work in Murarrie and Indro, but go to uni at Griffith Nathan, so I am a bit all over the place anyways. Looking forward to hearing from you. Laura
I'm uncomplicated and love to laugh. I had a own flat in germany, lived the last year before I came to Asutalia in a shared flat with 4 other people, lived in a working containercamp on a Farm in Mataranka NT for 4 month with 80 other people from all over the world and did practice couchsurfing. In my free time I like to go in a nice bar, have a cold beer and a nice chat, go dancing till the sun comes out or just lay on the couch with a pizza and a good movie. I love to have people around me but I also need and enjoy time alone. Easy going! :) I'm in Brisbane since th 13th January and now I'm searching a job and a nice place to live. -close to the city - only furnitured rooms - no shared room, please-
Hi, I'm Caitlin, moving back to Brisbane from the UK. I will be working on eagle st pier. Im super fun but clean and tidy of course. Am looking for a friendly person or persons to move in with or search for a property together. Message me if your interested
My name is Ayla and I am a nursing students not my second semester and also working in high care disability support. I am not a typical 21 year old I don't drink or smoke, I go out bowling, camping for fun and spend a lot of time out with friends when I'm not studying or working. I love to lay around my room and relax on my days off.
Easy going 22 year old female studying full time (diploma of education art and media studies). Keen to find a place before university starts. In my spare time I enjoy reading, film making, painting, music and playing sport (basketball, surfing etc). I am clean though not OCD tidy. I'd like to live preferably not too close to the city, though I am open to suggestions.
Hi, I am looking to find someone who also needs to find a new place to stay. I want to move back to the east side of brisbane to be closer to my family, preferably Hawthorne so that I can catch the City Cat to work. I already have a large amount of furniture - dining table, couch, tv, entertainment unit, fridge, washing machine - so would be great if I could team up with someone to find a place together. I am a lawyer, so I generally work long hours and I am fairly quiet and tidy.
Hi I'm a respectful and super clean and tidy guy, transitioning between selling and buying my next house (should be move ready in April, possibly sooner). Looking for potential team ups in advance. I'm friendly and active, I play Tennis, go running and gym. Love a nice weekend coffee and breakfast out, cooking. Hoping to team up with someone similar, would love to meet new friends out of the experience also.
We're a couple. I'm working full time in state government, Alyssa casually in graphic design. We're both studying when we can as well. We have a beautiful 1yo Chihuahua X named Rosie who is the loveliest puppy you will meet. We can't wait to meet you. :)
Quiet, respectful and mindful of others when needed however very social especially if we get along well. Love spending nights in watching either sport or netflix but love going out for a drink. Lover of breakfast foods and burgers so if you want to try a new cafe or burger joint count me in. Night shift worker away from the city so need a car space (secured or free street parking is fine) and need housemates to be okay with said shift - usual arrival time home from work would be roughly 5-6am. Very understanding that there may be noise around while I sleep during the day and will not make this an issue. Looking for a private room (ensuite or own bathroom preferred but not a deal breaker) where I can walk and explore the Valley and inner city lifestyle and enjoy a drink at live gigs without needing a $60 cab or be a short uber ride away (eg Morningside) Also interested in starting a teamup possibly with one or two others and have seen plenty properties online around Morningside and also some closer to the Valley. Very respectful and clean in shared areas and always open to conversations about how we are able to improve or keep our living situations running well. Feel free to message me whenever. Most likely to reply after 2pm due to sleeping during the day.
I'm an easy going, social and friendly person. I like to think I've got a good sense of humour and enjoy banter with my friends, family and hopefully with my future housemate. I love sport, particularly soccer/football. I'm reliable and punctual as well as being house trained/domesticated. I enjoy cooking if I have the time to fit it in.
Hey I'm looking for a furnished room close to or good transport to Murarrie as that's where I'll be working. Looking for around $160 ish for rent and bills per week. I'm very tidy and considerate. I love cooking, watching TV shows, health and fitness. I'm very sociable and make friends easily. Hoping to move around the 27th of Jan and hopefully stay 6 months. If you have something available please contact me.
Hi there, I am a 22 year old female (turning 23). I have completed all my studies and now working full time in teaching (primary). I am respectful, clean and easy going. Love the occasional wine and socialise but also like my downtime as well. I live what I like to think an active and healthy lifestyle. I am looking for like minded people. Ideally, I'm looking at places that are more on the modern/newer side and my own bathroom. My current lease is due to run out on March 16th but may find someone to fill my current room earlier. If you think I'll be interested in your listing or would like to team up, please feel free to contact me. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you. Annie
Hi :-) I am a 19 year old student at QUT looking for a place to call home :-) I am in my final year of study and also work two jobs. I am incredibly financially stable and mature and am looking for a flatmate who also has those traits. I like to keep my space clean and tidy. I work long hours across my jobs and am often out of the house. I enjoy cooking and baking in my spare time. I do not have any pets but would love to get a dog if the circumstances allowed. I enjoy going to the gym and hanging out with friends and want someone who is okay with having friends around the house. Ideally, I am looking for an apartment with air conditioning. If you are looking for the same things, please let me know and we can get apartment hunting together! :-)
Hi, we're Caitie and Eddy! Eddy works as an engineer full time and may be sent away for weeks/months for work. Caitie is in her last semester of studying accounting. We’re out most weekends and our job/study means we’re pretty quiet people through the week, although we don't mind a chat, we're looking for similar person/s. We also have a 4 year old cocker spaniel called Pippa (toilet trained, friendly, sleeps all day) Ideally we’re after a newer place with a small yard or courtyard for Pippa.
Have lived in shared accommodation for many years, in Brisbane and UK & Canada. I'm quiet and considerate. Well travelled. Enjoy sharing a bottle of wine. I work 8-5 M-F at South Brisbane. Enjoy dogs & cats, no pets of my own. Wish list: Covered parking space/garage Prefer own bathroom but not a deal breaker Ceiling fan or aircon and fly screens in bedroom Dishwasher Budget 200/wk or 225-250/wk bills included
Hi everyone! My name is Rebecca, commonly known as Bec. I'm a full time forensic student (yes a little dark). I'm friendly, considerate and tidy. I'd love to get into a house with other students/professionals, friendly and easy going folks who are keen to have the odd glass )or bottle) of wine and a laugh. I enjoy cooking from time to time and I like going out for dinner and socialising on the weekends, catching up with friends and family etc. I'm fairly easy going and enjoy some quiet nights in with a DVD marathon or a Netflix session or board games with friends.
I'm a conscientious housemate and full time student in my last year at UQ, studying film and writing. I've lived in share houses before. Looking for a comfortable room on the south side with a decent internet connection, not too far from a major supermarket or public transport to UQ, and ideally some other 20ish people to chat with or share a movie. I keep things clean and rent paid on time. Don't mind if you smoke, toke, or have pets (as long as you treat them well of course).
We are currently relocating from North Lakes to the Southside of Brisbane. We are looking for a like minded couple to sign a joint lease with. We are both working full time at the same workplace. We love to cook (but don't mind some KFC when we feel lazy), and we absolutely love dogs (we don't have one at the moment but it's really important for us to be able to get one). We would be considerate and conscious of anyone we lived with, and keeping the residence clean and tidy would be important to us. We are both easy going and social and would consider ourselves respectful housemates!
Hi All I am an independent 29 year old working full time in construction management based in Lutwyche. I am a very clean, respectful and punctual person. I am social and don't mind at all the occasional get togethers, but I do respect your privacy and my own at the same time. I am an advert exercise junkie and it is a big part of my weekly routine. I also have a 7 year old English blue staffy who if really need be can be accommodated by my family. I am looking for a room or sharehouse with like minded very down to earth characters who are easy to get along with and enjoy being a social. Thanks!
I'm a mature responsible person with a fantastic sense of humor who loves to laugh. I have full time employment. I have two jack russells who are both extremely well behaved and friendly.
I love socialising and meeting new people but I'm also happy to keep to myself. Im clean in shared areas (my bedroom may be a different story at times haha) but I'm also respectful of people's property and belongings. I have Netflix and Stan and a serious love for dogs 😍!!! Message me if you are interested :)
Hey I'm Maddie! I'm a full time hairdresser in the city. I'm super fun, tidy and respectful. I'm really social but also love my down time. I work a lot, so enjoy my time when I'm not. Hope to hear from you if I sound like your kind of gal! Maddie xx
Two Irish lads, both working and studying looking for a place to stay from February. Preferably a three bedroom place where another person can stay us. Into keeping fit and socialising also. Studying a masters while also studying full time so will need to be a quiet place and have air con.
Hello! We're best friends looking to start a share house in the areas we've listed, so we don't have to move home. We are great at chit chat and can party when required, but it's not often that we do. I am currently studying Nursing and working part time and Jade works full time as a travel agent. X
I am a 23 yr old girl living in Brisbane, working full time. I will never go to the gym with you but I am always down for an adventure. Pretty independent and happy to chill in my room but also pay for Stan and make a mean cheese board if you want to hang out. Can cook, can clean, can't resist a wine. Not in a gang, no crazy ex, and if you do meet my friends I promise you get used to them :)
25 yo full time working professional Genuine Honest Personal space and privacy respected Happy to have a chat at the end of the day and/or wine in the evening to chill I lead an active lifestyle and maybe you do aswell? Maybe something we have in common. Hope to team up with like minded individuals on a longer term lease preferable. Hope to hear from you soon Cheers
Not sure what to say here haha, but I guess I'll start with, I am a student working on becoming a Physiotherapist. I would consider myself to be a cheerful, honest and loyal person that is very easy to get along with. Have moved to Brisbane from a country town called Dalby nearly 3 years ago where I used to work at my parents motorbike shop for 10yrs. Moved here so I could be closer to workshops and my sponsors while I was racing cars and so I could blaze my own trail, so to speak. After a lot of unfortunate events and bad luck, I decided to give up on the race car dream and work on my other passion, being health and fitness. Hoping to one day be able to incorporate my personal training qualifications within the realm of Physio so that I can do something to help others and not myself, as I believe helping others is one of the primary keys to happiness. Anyway, that ought to be deep enough for now haha. :P So looking for a place that can accommodate a king size bed, a somewhat large study desk and some free weight gym equipment that I'm happy for all to use. My own bathroom would be nice, however, is not a requirement given the right house mate/s & price. The "right housemates" would also be of similar nature to myself, with a friendly and open minded nature. Cheers :)
Hi there! My name is Lauren, I am working full time in capalaba and will begin studying as well at the end of January. I am looking to team up with others as finding a place as a single is pretty difficult. I am clean, friendly and excited to meet new people as I am new to Brisbane! I enjoy; going out now and then, exercise after work, shopping, coffee and trips to the beach on my days off. I'm hoping to move in to a new place ideally around coorparoo or south side in February but I can start paying before then if it means I get a room 😊 I look forward to hearing from you!
4 Mid-20s from the UK! Love all kinds of chilling out: watching TV and Films, enjoying nice food, enjoying nice trips out, quiet nights in, Pizza! Everything really :) We're respectful, tidy and thoughtful flatmates. Easy to get on with and enjoy a laugh with, mature but still not too mature!! :) Looking for somewhere to call home for the next 4 months whilst in Brisbane :) Please get in touch if you have 2 rooms available for us! :) :) Looking forward to hearing from you
Hey Guys, I'm Luke and I'm looking for a couple of people to move in with, whether a team up or in an existing place! I'm currently doing a masters at UQ and work part time during the week, i like to spend my weekend relaxing at home, exploring or heading to the coast for a beach day. Im respectful, neat and tidy and I enjoy meeting new people. I'm a non-smoker and am more than happy to evenly split bills and contribute to keeping the place nice and tidy. I'm sociable and would get along with people that would enjoy hanging out or an occasional drink with but also respects each others space when needed.
