I'm 24-year-old girl from Finland and willing to stay in Brisbane six months. My job is to sell eyeglasses in an optical shop. I'm great to live with because am not only tidy, quiet and reliable but also funny, cute and small. On free time I like to go for run, socialize and go out for couple of drinks.
Clean and tidy, I have a clean as you go mentality. When sharing you need to be respectful of others. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates, and hope to find a place where you're not just people I share a house with but friends I share a home with. I do however spend a bit of time in my room and keep to myself so I'm not going to be in your face but happy to do dinners together (I can't cook, be prepared to eat raw unflavoured food, I apologise in advance) or casual drinks at home on the weekend. I'm a first year, first sem accounting student at QUT. I also have a border collie puppy so we need a pet friendly share house with a large fenced backyard (preferably tall fencing, as I think she's going to be an escape artist). Mia is currently 3 months old, she's a clever little monkey and wins everyone's hearts. It would actually be fantastic if there was another dog to share with too. A bit more about me... I'm Irish Filipino, grew up in PNG but have been in Brisbane for 18 years so technically I really grew up here! I go to the gym several times a week, I have been recovering from a few injuries lately so it's kept me at home. I'm the type of person that will push myself at the gym but later go home and eat an entire pizza.. I have no will power. If you eat clean, please show me your ways lol I'm single...I don't want to live with couples or single 40+year old men, nor families. Just like-minded people my age that are dog friendly would be amazing :)
Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. We are soon to be refugees as I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and we're in limbo until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. FAQ's So, Zeph, what do you do with your time? - Having worked in the coal mines for years, I'm now two years into a well-deserved sabbatical. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Waking up each day with a clean slate is pretty fun - highly recommend it. Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise or pretty much anywhere in Brisbane - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time! :)
Hi, I'm Stacey, 23 and working full-time in the city. I am pretty quiet to live with and will mostly keep to myself. Looking for something closer to the city. Need to be close to public transport - a train station. I don't have any pets, don't smoke and go out if I want to party. Not in a hurry to find something but flexible with timing. Ideally looking for own bathroom and a smaller number of roommates. If there is anything you want to know, please don't hesitate to contact me.
As of January I start my 1 year Graduates in Primary Education with the ultimate goal of teaching children all over the globe. My hobbies include hiking, travel and reading. I have a Bachelor's in Film and Television, amassing a small collection of DVDs perfect for "move nights." I'm looking for a fun and social flat where I can still put my head in the books over semester period. My greatest achievements include hiking a 700km 'Camino' across Spain and hitchhiking Central Eastern Europe from Poland to Romania; where I caught a ride with Czech Police, slept in a tent and spent a few days living with a family of Romani Gypsies.
We are both full time workers...we have a beautiful dog which we would like to keep with us....we have two motorcycles and a car...easy going people not home a lot...wanting somewhere for six months to save to buy a house
** I WILL NEED TO GIVE 4 WEEKS NOTICE TO MY CURRENT FLATMATES BEFORE I CAN MOVE OUT ** Hi Everyone! My name is Ashley and I am looking for a room in share house or to take on a house with someone :) I work full time in Morningside, I am a receptionist at a dry ingredient blending/protein company - Yes I have the protein hook ups ;) hah I work 7:30am - 4pm so I will not be home during these hours. In the weekend I alternate between my house and my partners house (male, 23) so the odd weekend I will have my partner over. I smoke occasionally but am in the process of giving up and I am a social drinker but I don't drink much. I'm friendly, respectable and clean. I enjoy my own space but I am not a snob. I currently do not have a car so I need to be near some type of public transport. If the house/room is great then I can compromise as I do get picked up & dropped off for work. In regards to furniture I only have my own bedroom furniture but am happy to go halves, or whatever with furniture. If you would like to know more feel free to get message me. Thank you, Ashley
Clean & tidy. Easy going. Secure monthly income. Love a chat(at same time respectful of people's space), a drink or 2, cooking, keeping fit. Can operate a lawn mower and a vacuum cleaner. Pay my bills on time and rent 4wks in advance. Have a beautiful 7yr old female Kelpie-Jess, who's personality is quite infectious. Not too much phases or surprises us.
easy going, full time professional.... working full time and studying, so keep fairly quiet... clean and tidy and respectful of others
Hello, we are a friendly and matured couple from Japan and Norway (29 - 31 years old). Since one of us will be graduating at the end of this year, we are looking for a clean and quiet place to live in a long term due to the expiry of current student accommodation contract. One of us is doing a first-year PhD and another is aiming to have a full-time job in Brisbane after graduation (will be applying for a TR visa). If we could rent two separate bedrooms at the same property, or a large ensuite master room where has direct bus access to the Griffith University Nathan campus, it would be ideal for us :)
Clean and considerate. Working full time. Love to cook. Shift worker in health sector. Enjoy socialising, but also like quite time, as I also study part time.
My name is Elka and I'm 20 years old. I'm currently a casual employee for the Australian Taxation Office, however I work guaranteed full-time/part-time hours. I am a creative, I make art, play music and sing. I write, too. I enjoy a glass of wine or a beer pretty much every evening, love being out and about, love making nice breakfasts at home and I also like to keep fit and active. I love talking to and getting to know people, roadtrips, going to little gigs and I don't mind a house party here and there but am definitely not a clubber. I start uni in February 2017 as well so I really will barely be home. I'm single but looking so might have a few dates over but I definitely maintain and respect privacy. Would love to find some housemates to have a drink with, actually be friends with, go on random drives with - just nice people who can actually contribute to a good lifestyle! I am looking for a reasonably sized bedroom with AIR-CONDITIONING and the rent MUST be bills included (as I can't handle unforeseeable costs.) A pool would be a plus! Curse these Australian summers.
We are part time students at the University of the Sunshine Coast and part time chefs in Brisbane. We will be working long hours, 5 days a week in Brisbane over the summer break at Westfield Garden City and need a place to sleep, shower, store our (minimal) luggage and a clean kitchen to make food in. We are very friendly and easy-going, but we mostly keep to ourselves and like to relax watching Netflix and playing Playstation in our spare time. We cook, clean and are very tidy and considerate. Ideally we'd like a room that also comes with a private bathroom (ensuite not necessary) and is within 10kms of Westfield Garden City. We are looking forward to being closer to work and making new friends in our temporary home. Please contact us if you feel that you can provide what we are looking for or if you're interested in teaming up to share a short term rental.
I am quiet and keep to myself, but love to have a wine and chat on a day off. I have 4 awesome animals! 2 very smoochy cats and 2 small puppies. I am a neonatal intensive care nurse, and study very hard for my job.
Hi, My name is Nerissa and I am a single female, turning 40 in November and a smoker attempting to cut down and quit slow. I am an easy going, friendly person who likes to get along well with everyone at all times. I always clean up after myself and once organised I pride myself on my clean and beautiful surroundings. I am looking for a long term residence with a room I can call home within a secure environment and I would love to meet you please. If possible, may I also meet at the same time any other tenants I would be sharing your house with, while viewing the room you have available. Kind Regards, ✨Nerissa✨
What I'm looking for: A room within a sharehouse with 1 other person, with my own private bathroom. It will be a fairly quiet, clean place that respects my privacy and sleep. The accommodation needs to be near transport that can easily access Westfield Carindale (either walkable distance, or has a direct bus). Cleaning up after yourself is a must-have trait. Bit about me: Female, early 30's, clean, tidy, and quiet. I work full-time (in graphic design and beauty industries); I work Saturday and Sunday during the day (my weekend is midweek Wednesday and Thursday) so you'd have the place to yourself during weekend days. I'm very considerate and respectful of others privacy. I'm friendly and social, but I do like a lot of my own space and privacy. I enjoy gardening, and have some herbs and tomato plants, enjoy daily exercise, along with drawing and playing guitar.
Half British half French I'm very open (British side) and I'm a great cook (French side)!
Hi, I'm Issak! I'm busy but fun 20 year old. I'm a full time student and work part time in retail I'm openly gay and tend to socialise best with females but I'm fine living with guys or gals When I'm not busy during the week I enjoy being social and going out over the weekends (getting LIT) I am clean and well organised and would like to live with someone like-minded I have lived in the Toowong area for the last 18 months and would like to stay in the area but I'm open to ideas on other suburbs provided they're still close to the CBD and public transport My lease doesn't end until early January but I'll be out of town for Christmas so I want to be organised and have a new place lined up before mid-December, lease commencing late December or early January If you're interested in living with me don't hesitate to contact, I'm fun and don't bite and would love a brunch or something to see if we're a good fit :-)
What makes us great to live with?! We both love wine! Actually, we're reasonably clean (not a clean freak though), work a lot and in general awesome company. Aaron's a Student. And I run a small web dev company in the Valley! We're both pretty fun guys, keep to ourselves, and to all reasonable extent... normal (with the exception that I like maths, which isn't *that* normal)
Im 19 and will be attending uni later next year as well as juggling a job so ill be pretty tired and anti social during the week however the little party girl thats within might come out every now and again during the weekends / uni breaks. I am very relaxed, respectable, clean and always down for a wine/ beer.
Hello, everyone! I am a 32 years old Brazilian studying International Trade and currently working at a Mantra hotel. I am preferably looking for a private room with easy access to the city, as I study on Adelaide St. I am a very quiet and tidy person, that likes to cook my own meals, listen to music and read. :) Please, be in touch if you think you can help me. Thanks!
Ronan and I are easy going and friendly people. We enjoy other peoples company however are also happy to keep to ourselves. We are both full time uni students. We have lived in Brisbane for the past 2 years but sometimes spend our weekends in Tweed Heads, NSW. In our spare time, we like to hang out, visit dog parks and go to the beach. We are looking for a room mate/s to move into a new house with us. We own our own furniture including a lounge, TV, washing machine, fridge and dining table so you will only need your bedroom furniture!
I'm super easy going and friendly. I can keep to myself a bit however don't mind being social sometimes as well. I'm considerate and reliable with bills and rent. In my spare time I enjoy watching netflix, going for walks, hanging out with friends and reading. I work part time in retail as a supervisor.
Extremely clean and tidy professional Engineer moving to Brisbane due to starting a new role. My new role includes international travel so there will be periods where I won't be there. I'm from the Sunshine Coast and enjoy an active lifestyle. I'm a quiet person but also enjoy social drinks.
Hello, My name is Jennifer and I am looking to move asap. I'm looking for a room which is air-conditioned, has a good size as I study and sew (my hobby) generally from my room. I have my own bed and bedroom furniture. I am currently studying, I am also involved with volunteer work at my Church. I am a Christian and would prefer a Christian home and environment, or at least one that is not antagonistic toward Christian faith. I am diligent, clean and tidy, I have studied Public Health at Griffith University (undergrad). I can't be around cats (allergy), drugs. I don't drink alcohol and don't smoke. I'm pretty quiet in my own space, but with that, I have a great sense of humour and sense of fun and enjoy communication with those around me, but totally respect and expect the need for privacy. I love to do my own thing and am completely independent. I have a vehicle and would appreciate off-street parking if that is available, under-cover even better :) I don't mind sharing with male or female, or the age group. The price I have quoted would possibly include bills and use of unlimited wifi? Independent air-con in room is essential for which I can contribute a reasonable amount more per-week for elec if required. Being summer, a pool at the premises (house or town-house) would be a happy bonus! Do I sound like a fit, or close fit for your place? If so, please contact me at your earliest. Thank you, Jennifer :)
Currently living with a couple of girls in Morningside, but the girl that owns the house wants to move overseas. I love riding motorbikes and staying fit. I love cooking and socialising, but often crave a day to sit on the couch and do nothing. I'm in sales for construction and travel away sometimes for work to the other capital cities. Overall, I'm not stressed by much and am pretty upfront.
Hey everyone, I'm looking at moving to Brisbane in a couple weeks from Ayr. I have just left my job in childcare, for a new start and new adventures in Brisbane. I haven't found a job in Brisbane yet but am currently looking for bar, cafe, nanny or Childcare work. I also do a bit of part time modelling for Tamblyns. I am easy going, open minded, friendly, clean, respectful and love to make the most of my weekends. I enjoy my own space but am interested in meeting new people and new adventures. Also love any chance I get to head to the beach.
Hello! I'm an international student from Japan and currently study at Griffith uni! I'm easygoing, love to talk with people, and I'd like to have flatsmats or roommates I can spend time with as a good friend :) Since I'm an international student who currently arrived here 2weeks ago, my English isn't perfect. But! I'm trying really hard to improve my speaking and also I don't have a big language problem in daily life. Actually if you are interested in Japan or another country's culture I will be a best flat mate/ roommate.
Moved to Brisbane from Ireland before that lived in Melbourne for 4yrs, Enjoy meeting new people and going to sports events etc, very clean and laid back housemate. Get on with anyone. Just looking for somewhere until maybe next feb or that could extend.
I'm a very easy going bloke, tidy and clean. I've had a rather diverse life experience: born and raised in Cairns, studied a Bachelor of Science (Ecology and Conservation Biology) in Brisbane, worked in Singapore for my first professional job in the landscaping industry at age 21. I moved from Singapore to Sydney to work as a Bush Regenerator in the Western Sydney region. I've recently been offered a full time position in Brisbane in a scientific company as a Natural Areas Technician. I'm a well spoken individual who recognises boundaries and avoids contention. My ideal place has wooden features (esp. Floors), space, a nice kitchen, natural light and either a veg. patch or community garden nearby. Known for my chefery and humour, I love plants, gardening and animals. Exploring natural landmarks, food and just hanging out on the weekend/down time.

Looking for social easy going people who are respectful and clean, some where i can call home preferably with air-con. Hey everybody, I am Lucrezia I'm 17 and I'm actually studying here in Brisbane city since few months. I will frequent the last year of school next year and I'm planning to return in Australia to do that, after coming back to my country,Italy, in December. I really enjoyed the Aussie lifestyle and my course of studies here. I study economics, accounting, law and history, and I hope to take an economics uni course here in Australia for a while. My stay here has been incredible and I met amazing people on my way that completely changed my life, and I hope that so did I. I believe in sharing, good friendships and kindness between every relation and in treating each other with the maximum respect. Besides that, I'm a lot of fun and im very easy to get along with and to build a good friendship with, that I hope will last further my stay! I have great cooking skills and, yes, I make a fantastic pizza and I'm always up to throw a pizza party for everyone who wants it. I am very sportive and pretty much into discovering new places and camping whenever there is the chance! If I find an accommodation for my plan to return here next year, the dates would be from the end of January 2017 to the end of November 2017. Hit me up if you want to know more about me and if you're interest have me as flat mate!
Hey all! Im returning from India on November 16 and need a new place to stay short term. Long story short, I'll be moving to Melbourne in January some time for university! If you wondering, yes I have the capacity to support myself, pay bond and Rent until this time. I'll also be looking for some casual work to fill my time and save some money for Woodford Folk Festival! Of course you are welcome to join! A bit about myself, I'm an ex banker who left earlier this year to pursue tertiary studies and live a new dream. I'm 23 (male) and have lived in Brisbane since 2011 and have had numerous leases under my name with no problems in the past. I can give you my most recent reference if you need. I am flexible with any household arrangements that might include chores and bills. I only ask that there be good internet! I love to cook vegetarian meals, and am a bit of a yogi (who likes to party every now and again). I know everyone says it, but I do mean it when I say Im clean! But, not over excessively; many house shares has taught me how to love dirty dishes that aren't mine! Anyway, if you want to know more please email me or, like I said, I return to Aus on the 16th and can meet and inspect after this date! Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers Zach ps I'm looking for south side residence, but obviously can be swayed if you think we will get along and you have a killer pad ;)
I am a very genuine, down to earth person who enjoys a chat and is social but also respects the privacy and needs of others. I am super clean, friendly and looking for a home with a good vibe and relaxed housemates. I'm really into climbing, fitness and generally an active lifestyle and would like to live with non smokers. I'm studying interior design (part time) and also work in retail and looking for a clean place that I can call home where I can relax with housemates as well as focussing on finishing my studies. If I sound like someone you would be interested in living with, please say hello. :)
My boyfriend and I are currently on exchange for one semester of university in Canada. However we are back at the end of January and will need somewhere to live. We are easy going people who like our own space. We both work and have jobs waiting for us when we get back to Brisbane. We also study at Griffith University Nathan

Starting a new job in Brisbane and need to make the move up from the Gold Coast. I am mostly looking to team up and rent fresh with someone as I own a lot of furniture myself. I'm easy going and always up for a chat. I have a girlfriend although she does not live with me, usually spend the weekend with her at her place or she spends with at mine. Prefer to be looking at places within 20mins of the city and with a garage for my car. Message me if interested :)
I am looking for 1 or 2 people to share a house with. My move date, budget and length of stay are flexible for the right place / people. Must love dogs. I have 2 border collies a boy and a girl they are both super friendly. They will accept head pats and tummy rubs free of charge. I would need a house with a bit of fenced yard for them. Always keen for BBQ and beers on the weekend. You won't see much of me during the week sometimes. I'm not really bothered male or female, just no couples. If you think we would be a good fit drop me a line.
I'm caring and super considerate. I keep to myself, enjoy my own company. I work in a busy café so when I get home I don't like to mingle much. I'm vegan and very clean and tidy. A lot of the time I'm not home because I'm out on nature adventures and exploring over the weekend.
I'm a registered nurse. Tidy, quiet and friendly. I work shift work so I'll need the house to be quiet during the day so I can sleep for night shift about 3 times a month. Always happy to hang out and have a chat, but I'm respectful of boundaries. I would also require room mates to be 420 friendly.

I always clean up after myself, I'm very easy to get along with and have a very cute dog that I clean up after also. I'm respectful of other people's items and space so just give me the rules and I will stick with them. I work casually and study also, however the study term is almost over so I will be working a little more. I do exercise and go to the gym, but this is limited to only 1 hour a day. I'm quite the homebody and enjoy being at home more than being out partying.
I am currently working full time as a jeweller, I'm looking to move a bit closer to my job in Muarrarie. I'm pretty quiet and I'm not home a lot of the time. Equally happy hanging out having a chat or enjoying my own company. I'm very respectful and clean. I do have a little parrot named Calvin, he is able to live outside and doesn't make a huge amount of noise. When I get some spare time I am usually either gardening or heading to the beach. I am looking for a house with a garage or some space where I can set up my workbench where I make jewellery.
Hey there, I'm relocating to Brisbane at the start of November for work and will need a place to stay. I will be a bit of a ghost throughout the working weeks as the office demands long hours, but am looking for a relaxed place to stay - preferrably partial to a drink or two on the weekends. My work will be in Morningside so ideally looking within 10min drive from there.
Hi there! I'm super keen to make a new start, moving to Brisbane to study! I come from Toowoomba, I am an outgoing and honest person. I like things super tidy and am a very clean person. I'm willing to take a share in all household jobs. I am seeking my own room, preferably not furnished, and fairly roomy, as i will need to set up a work desk for study. I would love a built-in robe, but if not, its completely fine. Possibly modern. I am willing to pay up to $190 a week for rent, that including bills. Thankyou, just contact me if you have any questions.

I'm a 26yo software engineer working full time in east brisbane. I'm a sport and outdoor activities enthusiast. I do rock climbing with UQ sometimes in kangaroo point and sometimes indoor. I also started doing Muy Thai recently. So during the week i'm usually out till 7 or 8pm. I'm reasonably social and house trained, and i'm mainly looking for a place to call home where people are willing to communicate and maybe share a meal or drink whilst respecting each others privacy at the same time when it's needed. I'm into music and play guitar sometimes (I got my awesome headphone that i use when i wanna play, so you don't need to worry about the noise if it bothers you). Preferably looking or a place in West End with an undercover garage, but that's not a must.
22 year old single male, just recently moving to Brisbane from the sunshine coast. Looking for a room/place in the southern suburbs. I work full-time, I also have a weekend job back on the coast so I wont be home most weekends. I'm a student. I don't smoke, I barely drink, I'm exceptionally clean, and really easy going. I have a perfect rental history. I don't have pets or children but I do love both. Preferrably looking for a place by the 30/10 but can work around an earlier or later date
Hey there. I'm a 31 year old Queenslander looking for a new place. I'm looking to move in with a friendly girl who has their own life but likes to hang out together as well on occasion, and share a glass of wine after a long work day! I don't smoke (ever) and am ridiculously neat and tidy! I work full time in Newstead in recruitment. Have lived in share houses before so I know the drill. Hope to hear from you, Lauren.
I'm a down to earth, easy-going 25 year old guy who wants to meet some new people. I currently work for the council, full-time on the Gold Coast. I would love to find housemates I can get along with and have a good chat just as anyone does, but also enjoy the quiet times that I get to myself to just chill out. I'm looking in any suburb that's within the South Brisbane region. In my spare time I love to have a good laugh with mates, play games (video or board games, you name it) and sport (mainly volleyball). If you have a single room available above a bowling alley, and below another bowling alley, you have me sold since you are a Simpsons fan and we will get along just fine.
