Hey! Searching for a place somewhere reasonably near the city centre, preferably inner-South. Originally from the Gold Coast, I am currently a public servant who has been living in Canberra for a year. Relaxed, tidy and a self-proclaimed exceptional cook - anything else just ask :) If you are looking for a flatmate or know of anyone please let me know! Locations and move dates negotiable. Tom.
Pretty chill, just as happy doing my own thing as hanging out with others. Moving to Canberra to study postgraduate clinical measurement science with full time placement at the hospital. I've been living in a share house for the last three years so I know whats what. I treat everything as if its my own (in a good way) and I'm respectful of other people. I like things neat and tidy but between study and placement I don't think I'll be home often enough to cause a mess.
We love to keep our spaces clean and if you choose to team up with us, you will be coming back to a clean and fresh common space everyday. Basic hygiene will be well taken care of. You might even be in for home cooked food (baked, grilled and steamed) and the occasional pan-fried. Socially, we can be both self-contained and sociable, depending on your preference. I am into social sector and will be actively volunteering in Canberra. David has a background in writing, IT and policy and will be reentering the Australia workforce.
I'm a easy going, clean and fun professional. Looking for location to work, close to great night life like Braddon, Barton or Kingston. I work long hours and study and like to just kick back when i'm at home. One of the few canberra born and bred. I like good food and trying to enjoy some me time after a long bout of past heavy work and relationship commitments.
I am clean and tidy. I am friendly but like to have some alone time as well. During the week I am often at work or at volleyball training/competition. I have been working in Canberra for 3 years but am originally from Gold Coast. I usually go back to Gold Coast once a month for the weekend.
Hi there, My name's Prue and I'm currently taking a gap year. I'm 18 years old and live out near Yass with my family while working full time in Canberra to earn money to go traveling at the end of the year. As you can imagine, it's a bit hard to drive in everyday so I'm looking for a place to live with fun, chilled and friendly people for the next 6-7 months. I'm a very easy going person and love all kinds of sports. I row down at Canberra Rowing Club a few times a week and am a really outdoorsy type of person. After living in a boarding house for 4 years I completely understand the meaning of personal space but am also always up for a chat. I'm more than happy to help out with cooking, cleaning and all house hold chores and am a really friendly and outgoing person!
Hello future housemate, I'm a 27 year old Canberra native, returning to my home town after a 9 year absence. I work in consulting and am studying part time. I love to cook, am an avid runner and have been known to enjoy a whisky or two. I have a soft spot for 80s music, political dramas and foreign food. I'm an experienced housemate who likes to ensure that common areas are clean and tidy. I also have most things required to set up a house, but am happy to put these into storage if they aren't required. If you're looking for an easy-going, respectful and sociable housemate who occasionally likes to boogie, get in touch! Cheers Dave
Hi, My name is Navina and I work at the ANU :) I'm looking for a room ASAP (but flexible with move in date), am friendly, easy going but also respect people's privacy. Big animal lover (but don't have pets). Navina
Hello, I am a 27 year old female looking for a place to rent on my own. I have been living out of home for a number of years and am quiet, clean, responsible and friendly. I work full time in the public service. I enjoy keeping fit by going to the gym, reading and travelling.
My name is Hao. I was born in China and have lived in Sydney in shared apartments for the past 10 years. I recently got a project coordinator job in Canberra so I'm looking for a place to live for at least 6 months. I'm an easy going person in my late 20s. I like trail running, martial arts (Kendo!!!!!) and motorcycles. I respect personal space but would fancy a chat or share a meal or drink from time to time. I like to keep my living environment clean and tidy but not OCD about it.
I've just moved from Sydney to Canberra to study at ANU this year, and am currently staying with family while I look for accommodation. I'm ready to move now but am flexible with my moving date. I'm a pretty mature individual, and I keep everything (but my sock drawer) tidy. I'm easy to get along with and I'm always up for a chat/being social, but am happy to keep to myself in the house if that's the go. I love sports, particularly netball, and am always up to attend live games/watch matches on telly. I'm open to different locations, though as a Sydneysider who has spent her life traveling and commuting to everything - I'd love to take advantage of the size of Canberra and live somewhere central.
I am moving over to canberra to join the APS . I am always happy to have a chat, enjoy a drink and share a meal . I am fairly easy going and am more than willing to pull me weight around the house.
I am a hardworking professional who is clean and social. In my spare time I enjoy chatting with others with a glass of wine in hand, watching TV or trying to motivate myself to complete my Masters degree. Due to Personal circumstances, I will only be around a few days a week.
I'm a PhD student in plant sciences at CSIRO Black Mountain Innovation Park (Near to ANU). Always fascinated to know about different life styles and cultures. I also enjoy reading, listening music, watching movies, painting and travelling to new places. I value physical and mental fitness and believe in having all-round persona. I would like to live in a healthy social house. I am a good cook and can cook almost all type of Indian vegetarian food.
Hola! :-D A little bit about me: I'm a super kind and easy going person! Clean and tidy! Social! You can find me me at yoga most week nights, or strolling around the 'burbs/lake. On weekends I love to breaky/brunch out and explore walking trails, finishing the day with drinks at bars with friends. I love to paint, read, cook/bake, currently learning to play the guitar! I love a good movie/tv show marathon on occasion. I vibe and get along with everyone :-)
Very laid back, considerate, friendly and open to the occasional drink and conversation. Avid traveller planning my next big trip. Also love to cook and given I already travel alot for work, prob won't be around much during the week.
Hey there! My name is Andy and I'm moving up to Canberra in April 2017 to take a role with the Federal Circuit Court. I'm a quiet, friendly, lefty 27 year old whose interests include playing music, riding bikes and other similar generic recreational activities. I'm looking for some cool, like-minded housemates who are willing to share their hard-earned Canberra-local knowledge with me!
Hi everyone! I'm a full-time health professional with the APS and part-time masters student looking for an unfurnished room in a share house, preferably a master bedroom with an ensuite but I can be flexible. I'm looking for a clean and tidy place that I can come home from work and relax in, with housemates who are friendly and quiet- definitely not a party house! I've lived in share houses all through and post uni and consider myself 'share house trained' in sharing cleaning responsibilities and paying bills on time. I'm always down for a chat, love fitness and health, and Netflix binging. If you've got a place send me a message :)
I've recently finished Uni in Melbourne and I'm starting a graduate position in environmental science in early March. The job is based in Canberra but also includes travel overseas and around Australia for short periods of time. I've lived in a share house for the last 4 years and I'm tidy and respectful of communal areas. I enjoy sports, music, movies and most outdoor activities. If you think I would be suitable to live with it would be great if you could get in touch with me.
Hi I'm Tash and I've just moved to Canberra, all the way from Cairns in sunny Nth QLD. I'm 25 years old, and I'll be commencing an APS graduate program this year. I'm very organised and tidy. I enjoy both spending time at the gym and spending time chilled out watching movies/reading on the couch. I like some alone time, but would also love roommates who are happy to chill out and enjoy and chat or movie night in the evenings.
Fresh grad, used to live in Melbourne and just got a job in Canberra which starts in a week or so. Hence, I need a place ASAP. I am pretty clean and chilled. Enjoy late night wine and chill sessions. I also like to do outdoorsy stuffs. Prefer a furnished bedroom and all females unit.
