Hi, I'm Jess :) I will be moving from Brisbane to Canberra at the start of 2018 to work as an APS Graduate (so my move date is flexible- anytime around the new year). I will most likely be working at the airport offices and I don't drive so I would like too live somewhere close to public transport. I am have just finished my Civil Engineering degree and I have two kitties, Bean and Sprout, who love each other more than they love me. I am happy to share with a couple, as long as the two of you are already living together harmoniously. Mainly looking for a "teamup" where we can all decide on a lovely place to live. Other APS grads would be ideal :)
I’m moving off UniLodge and need a place to stay next year! I'm a second-year law/political science student at the ANU. I'm pretty easygoing but love to have fun sometimes. Most of the time I'll be either studying or working, so I won't really bother you, but I'm happy to chat over some wine as well!
Hi everyone, I'm looking at moving to Canberra by the end of this year from Melbourne. I am moving with work on my current full time salaried contract until I commence my studies at ANU in 2018; and will drop to part time work/an arrangement more reasonable while I study. Location wise - I've never been to Canberra and thus am not overly picky on suburbs. However am leaning towards something relatively close to Canberra CBD for accessibility and convenience to ANU and work. I am looking for a private room (furnished if possible). Ideally I would like to confirm somewhere prior to moving to Canberra so I don't have to arrange temporary accommodation as well. If this suits you, I am more than happy to Skype/call/etc to have a chat or two so we feel at ease/comfortable/etc. Please don't hesitate to get in touch, I will appreciate it. Maddi
Hi! My name is Sarah. I'm a recent graduate from Sydney, about to start an APS job in 2018. I'm tidy, considerate and easy to get along with. I'm looking for a place to live for the coming year, preferably in Reid, Braddon, Turner, Campbell or Kingston.
I'm an 23 year old bachelor graduated in hospitality management. I have been living in Sydney for 4 years and now moving to Canberra for a full time restaurant supervisor position. So if I can find a place in kingston it would be the best as I don't have a car at the moment. I'm gonna work 5-6 days a week and pretty busy with work but I like maintaining a social life. I always pay rent on time and keep thing tidy, wouldn't mind share the house cleaning with others :) I'm easy going and love to socialize with people. Won't hesitate for a chat and have a good time together but I also respect people privacy. I love music and movie and a pet lovers as well.
Hey! I'm joining the Treasury Graduate Program in Feb 2018. I'm coming from Sydney, and I'm very excited about being able to potentially walk/cycle to work. I am outgoing & neat, love cooking & baking, have great TV/movie/book recommendations, a tea snob, definitely not an alcohol snob, and love travelling. I'm low-key savage, but also a bit of a grandma, so it balances out.
I'm a friendly, positive, laid back personality who respects others personal space. At the same time I'm great company. Love sport and don't mind watching it on the tv. I like to wind down with the occasional drink after work and am happy for company and a chat from time to time. I like a clean, tidy house. When you use it put it back regime. While I work in finance, I'm studying my Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
Hey, I'm Jackie from Sydney! I'm moving to Canberra in January 2018 to start a graduate role with the APS. I studied economics at USYD, am a bit a nerd but also love meeting new people and being active. I'm clean and organised, love to cook, easy-going, and happy to share the workload for household chores. I am hoping to find housemates who are happy to hang out and socialise but I also respect one's own space.
I'm a New Zealanders and I'm moving to Australia to study a Master's in Environmental Science at ANU. I love travelling - I grew up in Uzbekistan, Georgia, and Armenia and I'm currently spending the "summer" interning in northern California. Hobbies - cooking, reading, tramping and hiking, fitness, Netflix. I've flatted for 5 years so I'm very tolerant and respectful, and I'm tidy and pretty quiet.
I am currently working full time in the public service and will be going into the final year of my university degree at the University of Canberra in 2018. To balance work and uni I take mostly evening classes which leads to one or two long days. As a result, I tend to be quite quiet during the week, but appreciate the occasional group dinner or glass of wine and a chat. I love enjoy the occasional Netflix binge or being social on the weekends. I don't really party, however I do have the occasional night out and enjoy catching up with friends and being social during the weekends.
Hi, I am professional male originally from Perth. An opportunity to advance in my career has seen me moving to Canberra. Enjoy having a chat but also like my down time & privacy. Looking for some housemates with similar interests and enjoy a quiet coffee or beer.
Hi I’m Hannah, a 24yo originally from Melbourne and will be new to Canberra at the end of January to start a public service position. I am looking to lease a room in a share house with people also working/studying full time. I am a quiet and considerate housemate, respectful of personal space and tidy up after myself. I enjoy socialising (incl. wine and cheese dinners/beers on a Friday), being active and am looking forward to getting to know Canberra. I'll be moving from Darwin so won’t have much furniture initially, however am also interested to team up for a new place and contribute to the set up etc. I’m keen to live somewhere within bike riding distance to the centre of town. If you’re looking for more information about me or think I’d be a good fit for your place, please send a message through the site and we can connect through social media etc. Cheers, Hannah
Hi, I am a 29 year old professional on a full time adventure with the APS. Considerate and respectful of your space and privacy. Originally from Perth. I enjoy basketball, photography, long distance running, cycling and generally being outdoors, carefully balanced with binge watching Netflix and playing Nintendo! Happy to chat if you want to know more. :)
Professional city worker. Enjoy my work but also making time for social activities. Originally from mid-north coast NSW. Previously living in Sydney and Melbourne. Now settled in Canberra and enjoying the slower pace and how easy the city is. I like to think I am clean, responsible and considerate of others. Easy going. Enjoy staying fit, gym, cycling, exploring the outdoors and a bit of social dancing. Family and friends in Canberra so I do like to spend time catching up with them. I miss having a dog, so if you have a dog thats a plus. Looking for share accommodation in and around the city. Preferably within a bike ride to work.
I'm originally from Melbourne but have lived in Canberra for a couple years. Currently studying Actuarial Studies at ANU and working as a financial analyst. I'm super chill and very easy going. I'm a very social guy who loves playing sport and spending time outdoors. Will be happy to hangout with housemates from time to time and share a meal or have a drink. Also understand and value the importance of giving everyone their own personal space. I clean up after myself and will pull my fair share of the household chores.
Originally from Newcastle I've moved to Canberra to study Actuarial Science at ANU. I'm carefree, easy to live with and love a drink!
Hi I am Mel from Melbourne, I graduated law school this year and am making the move to Canberra in January 2018 to work for the Department of Finance. I've been off and on studying and working overseas for the past few years in Canada, Switzerland and England. I love cooking and good glass of wine. Looking forward to meeting some cool people to live with. Shoot me a message!
Hi there, I am 24 years old and have just got back from a two month holiday to canada, USA and Mexico. I am looking to move into a place sometime in the new year. Ideally I would like to live in the south Canberra area (Kingston, manuka, Barton and so on) my budget is $250pw not including bills. I enjoy being active and I will be starting a part time degree at UC in 2018 and working full-time. I am an active person who likes to socialize. I work in IT so can help with any internet issues that arrise 😅 Looking forward to seeing where this leads.
I have taken up a fantastic opportunity managing growing luxury retail store in Canberra Centre. I am well spoken, polite, educated & importantly very easy to get along with, my friends would say I'm the perfect ice breaker. In saying that. I enjoy my privacy and mutually respect yours. A peaceful preferably furnished bedroom with ensuite, clean and tidy.. a place to call home, free from any anxiety or unexpected surprises is what i am after As much as i enjoy a wine on the occasion i am not here to be clubbing, pulling all nighters, or bringing random unknown strangers home around the clock.. In saying that, your life is your business and so long as i can get my sleep we will get along just fine. I am not loud, arrogant and think it's extremely important for you to meet me and make that judgement for yourself. Being able to connect with people of all ages is something i seem to do naturally and without judging based by a number. Be genuine, honest, reliable and have a sense of humour at the best of times! i am very much straight forward and open to any questions you may have to ask or want to know, so please don't hesitate. I have worked in retail and specifically luxury cosmetic retail, with a diploma in beauty therapy, also qualified as a Allied health professional. This will be my first time living away from Melbourne initially i was seeking to take up accommodation by myself, however after much thought; it would be nice to know i am not completely alone, in saying that its just knowing that there is someone else under the same roof every now and again. Some important things to be noted, no one likes hidden surprises, i do smoke cigarettes however i have always smoked outside and am very conscious/respectful as to where i do so and how i dispose of butts, (living with a non smoker currently) In my line of work it is something i am constantly mindful of and assure you wont be bothered by. Jordan.
I'm a recent graduate moving into full-time work for the ACT Government. I'm looking for a room for a short-term lease whilst I complete my job-specific training. I am clean, neat, and respectful, but I love to chat over a coffee or a glass of wine, cook dinner for my friends/flatmates, and am flexible with living arrangements. I have a passion for learning languages and keeping fit. I will be overseas for an internship until late Feb, but if I sound like a person you'd like to live with, let me know!
I am about to start my APS career in Canberra, and am a recent Economics graduate originally from Wollongong. I am sociable, easy going and very considerate! I am an active person who loves hiking and getting outside! I am constantly in search of an excellent cup of coffee and absolutely adore a nice glass of wine every now and then!
Hi all, Social and considerate 32 y/o with plenty of share housing experience. I don’t smoke, work full time in a science roll for the public service and throw a bit of study in occasionally. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, cooking good food for myself and others, travel, movies, playing sport(professional social sport ring in) and running trails. Looking to move somewhere from November but very flexible
Hello potential housemates! I've just moved home from London after a few years and I'm moving to Canberra for work. I'm looking for a comfortable flat with excellent housemates. I like living in a friendly home, but i'm the first to recognise the importance of having time to yourself. I'm easy to live with, I like things clean and tidy, and I have terrific taste in Netflix. Get in touch!
