Hey I'm Mitch. Im a musician and have just finished my music degree at UON. I work two jobs in retail and usually my knights and weekends are spent at either a rehearsal or a gig. I play clarinet/sax/trombone and a bit of piano - I don't practice at night so don't stress haha. I am a neat person and like to keep a clean house - though i do like the odd social night here and there with a few wines and food or a BBQ. I can cook and do pull off a mean fried rice and decent scrambled eggs. Bit of a gamer and happy to spend time binge watching a series or two. Down for adventures when possible or lazing at the beach. Looking to get to know new people as well. :) (the date is in there just so I could post - no rush to move but open to anything that comes up)
Hi 😁 I am a nice 30 yr old guy who is very respectful of boundaries and space. I am a mathematician that works out near Kurri Kurri, so would very much be interested in anywhere there was somewhere that I could park my car. I am a fairly social person who enjoys the outdoors and activities like sailing, kayaking, mountain biking, camping, fishing etc... I am also a huge sportsfan, so would love to live with anyone into their footy (any kind ;) So let me know if you'd be interested in meeting up sometime for a chat. I am looking forward to an active, healthy and fun sharehouse in the future :) Thanks, Ash
Hello! My name is Claudia and I am a 24 year old Speech Pathologist currently living in Newcastle. I am looking for an unfurnished room in a share-house. I am a pretty social person, but also like my own down time to relax. I am really looking forward to meeting new people and hopefully becoming friends with the people I live with!
Short term stay in Newcastle due to business expansion. Looking for somewhere to stay for 3 months possibly more. I own my home and live in Brisbane but will be working in Newcastle for a while until the work is completed. Need somewhere to stay whilst in Newcastle. Looking for somewhere with reliable internet so I can use the laptop to work whilst home. In my free time I catch up with friends in Newy or hit the gym, the rest of my time is work. I am very busy and focused on my job, I own and run the business so it takes up a lot of my time. I am social with everyone, don't mind casual beers and interacting but am respectful of everybody's own space and privacy. Very tidy. Not after a party house
I'm a 23 year old scientist working at the University (9-5 everyday). I'm half Thai and love to cook so I do make some great Thai food but in saying that I am always up for a good pub dinner. I also really love to dance and drink tea. I'm looking for a place that I can live in until I finish my candidature so 1 year leases are perfect but I do not mind if they 6 month. I can move in as soon as is suitable for you so please don't hesitate to contact me :)
Friendly, easy going and clean. Often working alot, fairly quiet and sociable. Looking to find a place with my friend Vanessa. We would love someone to team up with us to find a home. As far as pets go we have a cat and a bird, and would ideally be looking for a male to team up with :)
I'm not your typical 16 year old, I've been living by my self for a while and am an independent and outgoing person. I am also a fairly tidy housemate and will always clean up behind myself. My main interest and hobby is music as I am currently enrolled at TAFE studying sound production and music performance, I'm a singer/songwriter and guitarist.
Originally from country then moved here stayed with family and now time to move out again. First home buyer watching the market, so renting in the mean time and possibly longtime see how it goes.. animal lover although own non. Very active. Looking for a respectful housemate as I have a full house of furniture. Ask me more. Looking close to town but not in town. Seeking non smoker.
I’m a tidy person who is happy to keep to myself or hang out, whatever really! I have a female cat who’s desexed and very lovely. I’m working mostly afternoon/ nights at the moment as I work in a bar. I have a heap of furniture if needed too.
I’m very easy going, however I like things neat and tidy. I’m sociable yet like to enjoy movies and nights in. I just got a fulltime job in sales near cardiff hence trying to move somewhere closeby. I also work security weekend nights so you’ll have time to yourself too :)
Hey, I'm doing fifo up in Qld working a week on week off roster. I have two awesome teenage daughters in the area and we want our own place for when I'm home. I'm looking for situational appropriate, fun, down to earth, professional people who could benefit from teaming up for a nicer, larger rental. You will have the place to yourself every second week. A house with a nice entertaining area and gardens to enjoy fine food and vino with friends is a must. I'm a clean, fun, responsible no drama guy. If anyone has their interest sparked, drop me a line.
I am quiet and sociable at the same time. I am flexible and looking for a friendly environment to live in. I am clean and care about cleaning. However, I am not obsessed with cleaning. I like to agree on cleaning rules with other mates. I do not smoke, drink (I drink very occasionally), do not have a pet. Please feel free to ask any question or more information.
Hi ! I’m John Bay. I’m moving from NZ to Australia and settling in Newcastle on the 21st of this month. I will be staying with my partner for the holiday until mid January or until I find a nice place to call home. I will be starting work as a steal fixer around the same time also, whilst looking for a job in the I.T industry. I’ve been independent for a while now so I’m use to picking up after myself and keeping my area clean/ tidy. I'm a great person to talk to and can relate to anything! I’m pretty chill and laid back, and love my own space. I’m into NRL, Pool Table, RnB Music, socialising etc!
My name is Dinuk, I am 22 years old and I am from Melbourne, where I've lived my whole life up until now. I am to start my course in physiotherapy at the University of Newcastle as of February 26th. I am someone who is friendly and sociable but also someone who respects personal space and boundaries. I have previously lived in a shared accommodation in Melbourne so i know what it's like living with others in regards to hygiene and cleanliness. I can also be quiet diligent with studying so you may see notice that I might study till late. I very much love to cook, and would be happy to have cook ups or just spend time with others. I also like watching tv shows, reading, and going for walks and spending time with friends. I am also easy going and very approachable. I hope you may take this all into consideration, thanks.
I'm a Friendly, easy going person who enjoys the outdoors. I'm moving to Newcastle from Perth for full-time work and to also explore what NSW has to offer. I get along with people from all backgrounds and I would like to find a place with flatmates who are keen to explore the city as much as I am.

I am 21 years old, love cricket, golf, playing guitar and I work at Hunter Valley Aqua Golf in Pokolbin. My girlfriend is 18 years old and works at Salinas in Belmont, she absolutely adores all animals especially dogs although we do not have any of our own. We are very clean and have lived out of home before, and would both like to consider ourselves as friendly and easy to get along with. :)

My name is Amelia, I’m 20 years old, currently living at home with my Mother on the Central Coast, looking to move out as I work full time in Newcastle. I’ve been paying board since I had my first job :) I’m super easy going and have a great sense of humour, friendly, love socialising however I respect other people’s privacy, very reliable when it comes to bills. Not a party person, but don’t mind a cheeky drink or two. I work in sales and marketing and have been in the business for almost a year now, love what I do. Play netball here and there :) Sincerely, Amelia
Hey! We are both currently studying to become teachers and both work part time/casual. We are into anything outdoors, beach, walks/adventures but are also happy to lounge around the house on the odd lazy/rainy day and play some board games or settle in for some A+ Netflix show with some drinks and snacks. Neat and tidy and respect others privacy as we do enjoy ours. We are keen to find someone/a couple to find a space with so send me a message if this sounds like it suits what you are after :).
My name is Lauri and i'm in my last year of my dietetics degree at UON. Born and raised in Sydney suburbia, i'm a respectful, very clean and tidy, easy going person. I like getting up early in the mornings to exercise before work, then coming home to chill out with house mates before getting an early night. Looking for some like-minded people to live with. In my spare time I enjoy going for runs and walks in any nature-filled area, be it the beach, greenery or hiking up a mountain. I also enjoy going to the beach, movies, and hanging with friends I'm looking for 2.5 months of accomodation between March and May whilst I complete my last (full-time) placement of my degree. Looking forward to coming back to Newy!
So unfortunately my landlord has decided to sell (living on Darby street and love it). So a little about myself. I'm accountant working full time for a firm in the CBD. Will be finishing my CA this year (two semesters). Before this I spent the last two years travelling Europe. And will be off again this year for four weeks to the Russia World Cup. If you enjoy travelling and/or the NRL we will most likely get along. Into my league and having a beer come Friday. Definitely not after a party house, but enjoy hanging out with the people I live with. I also have a bit of furniture from prior to going overseas - BBQ, TV, TV cabinet, lounges, outdoor setting, table and chairs, fridge, washing machine, mower, Xbox, Nintendo 64 etc. I also have a small dog currently with the parents, that I would ideally like to bring with me if it works out. Hope to hear from you soon!!
Hello! I'm a 25 year old female PhD student at the University of Newcastle, working at HMRI/John Hunter Hospital. I'm a hardcore science nerd who is also a huge fan of baking. I'm currently living at home and looking to move out. Ideally, it would be in a house of people with whom i could be friends. I will be in Newcastle for the foreseeable future so longer term stays would be preferable. I have a scholarship until march 2019 so reasonable rent isn't an issue. I'm looking to spend $250 (including bills and internet) maximum and preferably with a private bathroom but not a necessity. I have a car so somewhere to park would also be lovely. I'm not a party person, a chill night with wine and netflix suits me fine and I'm happy to keep to myself. If I sound like someone you might want to rent a room to (or you have a property in which I could live), please message me!
Hi I’m Zaelee, I’m hoping to find a place with a social vibe, not a full on party house although it wouldn’t hurt occasionally. I’ve been living out of home for a few years now and would like to think that I’m a rather tidy, respectful, super friendly and easy going housemate. I try to avoid being home as much as I can, I love to be out and about and find myself happiest living a busy lifestyle but I won’t turn down a quiet wine or two with some friends at home!
30 female, newly single, love my fitness and also a sneaky wine with some good banter. I'm clean, want to live with someone who will feel like family and like to chat and hang out but also likes space too. :)
I'm a 22 year old recently graduated graphic designer, about to start a full time job. I am on the move to Newcastle from across the ditch from lil' old Christchurch! In previous flats I have been known to cook the best nachos and banana pancakes, and turn every dishwashing session into a karaoke night. I'm a keen soccer player and budding surfer and I'm always up for a good laugh or spontaneous dance party! Not too fussed on location at the moment, just looking for a friendly home with like minded people! Flick me a message if you reckon I would be the perfect fit for your flat, or even if you want to team up! (Bonus points if you have a dog)
Looking for a place that feels like home. Clean, neat and tidy person and would like the house members be respectful and tidy up after using the common facilities. Full-time student, therefore wouldn't prefer a party house.
We have currently been together for almost 2 years and been living together for about 6 months. Kyle is a kitchen staff at Hogs breathe cafe and loves to cook. Emma is a 2nd year apprentice hairdresser but taking a break and working for Guzman Y Gomez. We have 2 very cuddly rabbits that we love very much. We love socialising and would love to live in a house with people with similar personalities and get along well with.
Bubbly, Explorer, Honest (written by my friends). Short info: Sensible and considerate. Believer of healthy, non-passive aggressive communication. *Laying it out early to facilitate mutual understanding 🙈: I dislike cluttered/dirty shared environment with items often misplaced (e.g., kitchen, living area). I’m sure we all want to live in a liveable home with considerate members. I don’t mind performing occasional acts of service, but unless the relationship greatly makes up for that, I’d honestly be disappointed and upset if I have to repeatedly clean up after someone. Detailed info: I'm a smiley introvert—albeit an energetic one—who grew up in a small island (country) called Singapore. I'm pretty 'flexible' in the sense where I have a huge range of interests. I love cozying up on the couch or a café with a good book; I'm really outdoorsy at the same time— I love taking walks and I do boxing. I spread my time between outdoor activities, fitness, culinary and my bachelor degree (psych; UoN, honours year). I have high empathy level (ps. I know how to read the atmosphere ;)), and I'm absolutely passionate about spreading love, smiles and joy. I love being the tiny ball of concentrated sunshine amongst my friends even though I'm an introvert and that means my battery does go flat sometimes. But it fills up my heart knowing that I've made someone feel more pleasant— even if it's just for a second! It's all worth it. You may have realized by now after reading all that I've typed that I'm an open book 😊 Hit me up if you think that you’d be happy (not just ‘okay’) living with me!
