Hello! We are a couple in our mid-twenties from Sydney who will be moving to Newcastle/Hunter Region. I am studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science in Sydney and work part-time, will be transferring to the University of Newcastle, Callaghan campus. My partner currently works full-time, and enjoys the outdoors, but likes his down time as well. We are quiet people, neat and tidy, we won't mind sharing the house chores or having a chat :). Our preferred accommodation would be in a flat or house sharing with 1 or 2 others preferably in a quiet household, a 1 bedroom granny flat, unit or the like.
My name is Adam, 28 and full time worker as a carpenter. I’d say I’m great to live with because I’m a tidy person (not OCD or anything) I’m never home much as I work full time, train 4-5 days a week and also study part time and am respectful of others space. But when I am home I don’t mind checking out a new Netflix series, or few casual drinks on the weekend. I’m a pretty chilled easy going person, no pets, don’t smoke and no children. Look forward to hearing from you 😊✌🏼
Hey guys I am looking for a new place to live from basically anytime soon, but do not need to rush out urgently. Bit about me... from Germany but moved around quite a bit, since half a year living in Newy. I am doing my PhD at the UoN, so am called a student but not really feeling like one - apart from being poor ;) thereofe i would prefer not living in a student accom as i basically work fulltime. Non-smoker, easy going, pretty tidy, love to head to the gym or lie around and and tan. Would love to live with not too many people who are easy going and up for a chat or drink sometimes. Love to be around people but also need me-time and just chill in my room with netflix. Hit me up if you feel like we could get along and you got a room to rent :)
Hi, My name is Marissa and my partner Matt and I are looking at moving in together from mid-August. We both currently live in separate share houses. We are looking at the possibility of renting a three-bedroom house and sharing with another person. We are looking for a person who may be interested in sharing with us and becoming a future flatmate and hopefully friends. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Laws/Communication at the University of Newcastle and am in my fourth year at university. I work part-time as a youth support worker in Out of Home Care. I enjoy living an active lifestyle, am outgoing and make friends easily. I'm a hard worker and like to keep myself busy. I go to the gym four times a week and enjoy the beach and visiting my parents on the Central Coast and in Sydney when I have free weekends as well as camping. I enjoy reading and watching movies and will be in Europe from mid-June to mid-August this year travelling. I've lived out of home since starting university, spending two years on college and the last 18 months in a share house with friends. I'd love a workout or study buddy, I'm very close friends with my current housemate! That being said also happy with someone who is content sucking to themselves! Matt works full time as a fence installer; his hours are between 5:30am-5:30pm Monday - Friday so he is not home much during the week. Whilst he is up early he is extremely quiet and rarely hear him leave. He is currently also living in a share house. On weekends he enjoys motorbike riding, fishing and a quiet beer or two. We are a laid back couple who rarely argue and get along well with each other as well as everyone else. We have our own friends outside our relationship and don't mind doing our own thing. Whilst a couple we have different interests and aren't joined at the hip. We don't go out a lot other than for the occasional dinner. It wouldn't be a party house but we wouldn't mind having friends around for a BBQ or dinner and a few drinks. We’re always up for a movie night! We are both mature, clean and courteous and looking for someone who is similar. As well as someone who cleans up after themselves we'd be also looking for a person who is willing to participate in general cleaning of the house on a regular basis to keep things clean, tidy and hygienic. This would include basics such as cleaning of bathrooms, mopping, dusting and vacuuming of other common areas etc. We'd each be responsible for our own rooms. Matt is a keen gardener and mower so it's unlikely we'd have to worry about outside. In the share house I live in we currently have a roster but happy to discuss different options. It would be the perfect place for someone studying or working fulltime who has possibly lived out of home before, wants to be social and likes some company but also to do their own thing. We'd like someone with a steady job or secure means to pay rent and bills. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in please contact us! I'd be looking to set one of the rooms up as a study/guest room so we are happy to split whatever the rent is three ways. Matt goes to bed early due to work and I often either finish work late or study late so will need a separate space. Matt and I both have savings and a stable income to purchase furniture and appliances so you'd only have to worry about furnishing your own room. Bills would additionally be split three ways - we'd like someone who is conscious when it comes to electricity as nobody likes seeing money wasted. Our max budget for a house overall would be an approx $510 - $170 each. We would prefer no pets not because we don't like animals but it makes finding a rental extremely difficult. We're happy to provide references of what we are like to live with! If this sounds like something you may be interested in please contact us to discuss further the possibility further!
Hi there, I'm Alison 38, my daughter Isabelle is 9 and our dog bolt ( Chihuahua x Foxy) is 8. We are wanting to move around the Warners Bay area and require accommodation for at least 6 months while we get settled. Im currently living in Nelson Bay but wanting to move down to Newcastle to be closer to University. We are quiet and clean and don't make mess. I study full time at university by distance learning. I'm friendly and bubbly I don't smoke and I'm a social drinker on occasions. I love the outdoors, the beach, movies, reading, catching up with family and friends and bbqs. I am considerate and will pitch in with cleaning etc. Anything you want to know please ask.
Im Hannah, 25. Im Easy going and friendly. In my free time i like to go bike riding in the bush and fishing. I am looking for accomodation where i can come and go whenever i please without any issues as i frequently go fishing late at night and dont return til early in the morning so somewhere with my own entrance would be awesome so i dont wake people up ad i go about my adventures. I also have a rescue dog and cat which is making it really difficult to get a place anywhere on the planet. My dog gabby is an old girl medium size with an amazing personality. She is very quiet and likes to spend her days resting outside in the sunshine. My cat Lily is also an old lady who hardly ever shows her face other than to eat and is fully house trained so wont scratch or damage property at all. Swing me a message if you have a room that would be suitable. thanks.
Hi there, Nice to meet you. I have created this ad to see if we can find a suitable place for us via flatmates.com.au before going down the real estate rental option. Lucie and I are looking for a spacious clean and quiet place to call home, long term. We would prefer to share with only one other person, own bathroom would be great too. I work full-time on the Central Coast, while Lucie studies part-time in Sydney and works casual jobs in Newcastle. We are both very friendly and respectful people. We always clean up after ourselves, make little noise, not big party animals but don't mind a few beverages, more outdoorsy people! We need to be as close as possible to a train station. If your place is not within walking distance to a train station, from WIckham Interchange to Fassifern; it is not a possible option for us, sorry. Please feel free to message us. Cheers
I’m a 26 year old Youth Worker who loves to surf, play soccer, make art, read, go on adventure and just have a good time. Tidy and responsible but friendly and fun.
I'm a friendly, 22 year old female student (graduating at the end of 2018) from Melbourne. Early next year I will be starting work in NSW around Warner's Bay. I am very social, love getting to know new people, I love cooking as well and I'm into healthier foods so I generally try to eat healthy but definitely have many cheat days! I love getting outdoors, whether that is to go to the beach, for a walk, hike or out later for a drink but also love curling up in front of the TV to watch a good movie or TV show. I am looking for house mates 20-30 years of age that are friendly, tidy, nice, sociable, easy-going, open to making friends and going out to explore as I will be new to the area and will not know anyone.
Hi, I'm a registered nurse doing night shift and looking for a team up. I'm easy, just want to chill on my days off and sleep a lot lol I like to go out as well..like movies or just chill somewhere nice with a relaxing view :)
Hi there! I'm 25, work part time and I am brand new to Newcastle. People seem to like me because I am polite, and I'm rarely late ;) Conceited at first, but definitely become more outgoing after getting a couple drinks in me. Currently working afternoon shifts on weekdays so I'll be out of the way for most of the evening. Currently without a car so walking to distance to shops and public transport is ideal. Hopefully wish to find a place in or near the CBD. Looking to move in ASAP so feel free to shoot me a message whenever :)
I'm Gibs, an international student, working par-time. Looking for a place to live, having a nice atmosphere and standard facilities where i can have my own space as well as a place for social mingling. Thanks

Hey guys, recently got a transfer with work to Newcastle and will be moving within the next month. I work in retail so my shifts can vary from day-night, but I still love to make time for myself and socialising, going out for a drink or just chilling at home with friends and a wine :) I'm from England originally and have lived in Tamworth NSW for almost 7 years. Love meeting new people and making new friends, I'm a fairly outgoing and fun person and definitely love having a drink or two. Ideally looking for a place I can move into fairly quickly (furnished is a preference but not set in stone), with some laid back, friendly housemates like myself. Thanks guys and hope to hear from you soon!
Hi! I'm a full time Bio-med student and work part time as a waitress. I'm an easy going individual looking for some like minded people to potentially live with! I'm a clean and sociable person who enjoys having a chat. I'm not a huge drinker/partier but don't mind enjoying a few on weekends, I love heading to the beach and gym around my semi-hectic uni/work schedule.
Hi, I’m Hayley and I’m a 29 year old Primary School teacher. I’m an easy going, fun and relaxed person who also likes to be organised, clean and tidy! I’m looking for a house that will be a home where we all get along and can socialise but also respect each other’s space when needed. ☺️
I’m a trainee assistant pharmacist and will be attending UON in 2019 to study pharmacy. I’m neat and tidy and don’t have a problem with helping out around the place with cooking or cleaning. I’m friendly and get along with everyone especially if you like greys anatomy, Harry Potter and dogs 👍 I’m not a party animal but love a girls night in and am always down to go out for coffee ☕️

My usual routine is starting work in the arvo / night, I finish and get home in the early hours of the morning anywhere from 1:30 to 4 but I’m a very respectful person I wouldn’t make noise when I do get home! I’m on top of my tidiness & cleanliness!! I’m not a fan of mess lol, non smoker but doesn’t bother me if I live with smokers. When I’m not working I’m either usually catching up on my sleep and watch a bit of Netflix or being social catching up with mates for a feed and a beer or similar. I have a easy going attitude friendly and genuine person.
We both work in the care sector and study within similar fields. We are both clean and tidy people and are generally in bed at an early hour. We're both social people and are easy to get along with, we enjoy an active and adventurous lifestyle.
Hi :) I have been living in share houses for 6 years now, and I'm really sick of having my stuff stolen and damaged so I'd really love my own place, or even to share with just one other like-minded and lovely lady. I work in medical administration and I am in between studying different medical degrees. I am creative and would love some space to paint but that's not the biggest necessity. I'm friendly and social but also keep to myself a lot and love my sleep. Won't lie, I'm a huge nerd and also a huge environmentalist. I just really care about a lot of things aha. I'm generally really quiet and polite and clean and I like to keep things relaxed. I have been professionally renting through real estate for over 2 years now, at 2 different locations, so I have a good rental history, and I know how to look after a property and respect other people and their belongings. I'm really aiming to get my own place, but I definitely want out of where I'm currently living by the end of the lease in October so I am open to moving into an already established house. I'd only like to live with one other person though and I'd love for us to get along well and have a lovely homey environment. If you have a full property, granny flat, or just a spare room in a nice house I'd love to hear from you :)
House is getting demolished in 3 weeks! Time to find domestic bliss with a new crew. Hospitality worker so i do unusual hours every now and again. that said, I cook, I clean and i live relatively quietly for most of the week... looking for some absolute units to induct me into, or create another super-tight and friendly household Thanks
My name is Gem and I'm a final year uni student, studying International Relations + Journalism. I'm currently an editorial intern at White Magazine, as well as a nanny. I'm a quiet individual who likes her alone time, but I'm also friendly and would love to make friends with the people I live with. I enjoy cooking, going to the gym, travelling, music and netflix binges.
21 year old moving to the Newcastle area. Looking for a room to rent at a maximum price of $200 including bills and maybe wifi until I get more settled in, also a room with no furniture as I have my own. Only looking at a maximum 6 months. A bit about - I’m easy going, enjoy spending time with friends and also love going to the beach as I am from the country. I love meeting new people and going out now and again. I like things clean and tidy. I’m a non smoker and can’t really live with pets inside especially cats as i am allergic to some animal furs (massive pain in the butt as I do love animals). If you would like to know anything else or think I would suit your home, let me know.
I like to keep to myself. I work in Hospitality so I am often not home of an evening. And I play music, so I inject an element of creativity where I chose to live. I am open minded about other peoples lifestyles and sexualities, and I make a pretty damned good indian curry from scratch
I'm a 32 year old single male, neat and tidy, respectful and quiet. I have a great sense of humour, easy going, love to cook (I think I'm a Masterchef), love to have a beer with mates. I am an accomplished animal portrait artist and have had my work published. I specialise in equine portraits but get to draw a lot of dogs as well. i am also a very amateur novelist in the fantasy genre. by the time I'm fifty id say id have at least 3 chapters of a best seller.
