I am looking for a comfortable studio or similar to rent, starting January/February. I am looking in the suburbs surrounding Mt Gravatt East, where I work. I work full time in construction sales/construction management.
Hi guys, I am FIFO and am working out of the state most of my life. During my off swing I normally try and get away for holidays which means I am hardly ever home (depending on how social you are, that could be a good or bad thing I guess). I'm chilled out and easy going. Social, but I also know how to respect someone's privacy. I am renting out a home of my own where I come from so I understand the importance of respecting another's property! Plan is eventually to live in Brisbane, so I am after something short term (2-6 months maybe more) to give me enough time to get to know the greater Brisbane area and find a home of my own. Cheers guys ;)
Hi there, we're a couple that met while living in Whistler, BC (I'm Canadian). Once Ben finished his working holiday in Canada, I decided to do one in Ben's homeland of Aus. We will live for the year in Brisbane - Ben will be attending UQ and I'll be working full-time. We both enjoy sports, music, and having casual pints. We lived together with a large number of flatmates in Whistler, so we're experts at doing our part in a communal environment - cleaning up after ourselves, pitching in, paying rent and utilities on time, and enjoying some friendly banter with our flatmates! We look forward to meeting you!
Hey there! I’m a 23 year old bartender that generally works nights and weekends. It will basically be like I’m never at home because I’m either at work, at the gym, or spending my few days off with friends. I love people and living up the good life :)
Leah, 22 and coming towards the end of my current lease and looking to relocate! Im looking around south-east Brisbane e.g. West End/Southbank,Woolloongabba, Kangaroo point, the valley, New farm, Coorparoo, Camp hill, etc etc. A bit about me - I work full time in admin in an accountancy firm in the city! I love going to to dinner, watching movies and going out with friends on the weekend!
Am moving up to Brisbane to study at UQ. Will be kept busy enough with uni, sport and work to keep me occupied, but also love having a drink and socialising in my downtime. Very easy going, respectful of others space, organised, clean and tidy.
Hi! I've been living with three other wonderful housemates for almost 2 years now, with a big change of heading into university in 2018 I'm looking to downsize my living situation and also gain some quiet space. I'm super friendly, love to make people feel comfortable and I'm told I have great conversation skills - so if you've had a bad day I am all ears! During the week I work/will be attending uni and in my down time you can find me going for walks, going to gym, spending time with family and friends or just relaxing at home. Whilst I am looking for a place that is a bit quieter than where I am now, I am by all means still happy to kick back on a Friday afternoon with a wine and take way or to head out with some friends on the weekend for some drinks. I am very tidy, I believe things have a place rather than being thrown about here and there and I keep my share of bills up to date. I'd ideally like to live with someone like-minded :)
Hello potential future housemate!! My name is Niamh ( pronounced Neev,) I am 21 and work full time is drafting operations for a construction company. I am looking to move into a share house with some cool, courteous and fun young people in the coorparoo/norman park/camp hill/greenslopes area. I am a clean, respectful and courteous housemate. I enjoy having a few beers and some banter on the weekend but during the week I am usually quiet and keep to myself. I play AFL and go to the gym which takes up most of my week nights and weekends for games so I am very rarely home. I can get around family dinners and board game nights but am also very respectful of peoples personal space. Looking to live with other young professionals who like to have fun on the weekend but like to chill during the week :) Look forward to hearing from you!!
My name is Isabel, and I study engineering at the University of Queensland. I'm originally from Sydney, and have been living in Brisbane for the last year. I'm looking for a place where I can relax and make friends with my housemates, while respecting privacy and personal space. I'm not a particularly noisy person, and always keep my space tidy, but I don't mind others getting a bit louder on weekends (and enjoy having friends over when it's reasonable). My hobbies include cooking and bushwalking. I also have a pet dog, a 5 year old Border Collie named Jago. He's extremely friendly and well behaved, loves people of all ages, and is fully trained (house trained, currently lives with a cat, knows basic tricks, and heels off-leash). I walk him daily, and having him around is super important to me - so a fenced garden would be a requirement. He goes indoors at the moment, but has been a fully outdoor pet in the past.
Hey my name's Gabi, I'm 24 and currently studying my Diploma of Beauty Therapy and working as a Beauty Therapist at Endota Spa. The lease for my current place is ending soon, so I am looking for a new place to live. Sports, food, adventures, sneaky bevs and binge watching TV shows are my guilty pleasures. I enjoy socialising as I'm a pretty outgoing person, but also like my space sometimes. Cheers.
I am a new graduate veterinarian. I studied a B. Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney 2017. I am clean, responsible and social. I enjoy watching movies, binge watch tv shows, reading, yoga, baking and hiking. I have a first aid certificate and working with children's check WWCC. My achievements include eating 1kg of cheese, a whole cake and an entire pizza in one sitting. I will be starting a full-time job at Teneriffe/Woollongabba Vet Clinic in mid-Jan and I am happy to live in suburbs that are within a 20 minute drive to my workplace. ESSENTIAL: Will need a parking spot (off/on street/paid permit is fine). My partner lives in Sydney and I would like to know that it is okay (with all house mates) for him to stay for the weekend every 8 weeks. We alternate flying to Sydney and Brisbane every 4 weeks.
Hi! I'm currently looking to either team up with one or two other females to move into a townhouse or find a room in an existing house in the southern suburbs of Brisbane. I work full time and am very clean and easy to get along with, I'm happy to hang out and have a chat but I do also like doing my own thing. I have a 4 year old english staffy (Billy) who will be coming with me, he is mainly an outside dog :) Move date is flexible.
I am a clean and considerate person, I love to have fun but I am great a relaxing. I study Engineering and Business which takes up a lot of my time but i am also a competitive cheerleader and will be working part time hopefully. I am friendly and talkative, I love making new long lasting friendships and being able to hang out with my housemates.
Hi, I’m Anna! A friendly, relaxed and healthy 26 yo chick and am looking to be your roommate. i am looking for a furnished room, close to public transport, a covered car park and some good people 👍 I grew up in Brisbane but love meeting new people and am hoping you will enjoy my company and drop me a line. I currently work full time as a social worker. Before that, I studied in the U.S. for 6 years and love travel. I keep all shared spaces clean, am social and a good cook! Also, I am always up for an adventure, beach days, hikes, or a game of cards against humanity, and am quiet at home. I am all about equal opportunity. Shoot us a message 😀
Hey! I'm Lauren. I'm a positive, friendly and tidy person who works full time as a teacher. I'm looking for some great people to live with, not just a room. Must love dogs-I have a 6 year old dog, Maisy. Would be great if you also had a dog so she could have a pal! Not after a party house but love having friends over and socialising with a few drinks. I am a non-smoker and enjoy cleaning and gardening.
Not looking to move until the end of January 2018. I am a pretty open and honest person that's easy going and loves to have a laugh. I've been share housing for a few years, with friends or through flatmates.com and I think you only get better at sharing! I do like to develop a level of friendship with my housemates, its nice to come home and have a chat or a beverage together or watch a show you're all hooked on, as opposed to never speaking to one another and feeling like you're living with strangers who wouldn't know if you died in your room kind of thing. My room is usually in some state of mess but I have been improving on how long I keep it neat for, the rest of the shared area however is a different story and I always like to keep things tidy and not leave my shit everywhere (that's what my room is for right!). I try to think of the cleaning as just helping each other out and not a battle of whose done what how many times. I like clean space but am also not pedantic about it and get that sometimes we have periods we get busy or unmotivated and then we are back into taking care of the home more, that's life. I want to live in a fun, relaxed household that also respects each others space and the environment we live in. I don't mind friends or family coming over or if they need to crash for a weekend either. I find that I am out in the evenings a few times a week (pilates or catching up with a friend), and one or two nights i like to chill at home. Weekends I seem to be out a lot, every so often have a chill day at home. I have family down the gold coast so I sometimes go and stay with them. I seem to jet off for weekends to visit family or friends as well. I am a lover of travel and love to talk about travel ideas and people's experiences. I am looking for a room no more that $190 a week with bills included or no more than $180 a week without bills included, but may be able to reconsider this for the right place :-) I am looking to share with one to two people. My goal for 2018 is to save more, have a holiday, and get outdoors more and live a healthier lifestyle (but if you want to share a pizza Im also down for that). I enjoy watching sports with friends, some trash shows, as well as your documentaries and things that get you thinking. I work for government full-time, mon to fri 9-5 gig so I have no problems paying my bills. If you would like to know anything else feel free to ask :-)
Hi! I'm Olivia and looking for a team up for January 2018. I'm a 21-year-old Finn and starting to study business in January and staying in Brisbane atleast for 1,5 years. I'm kind, social and respectful and would like to have a flat on a high floor with views with my own bedroom and 1 or 3 female roomies. I will be working and studying a lot and I usually go to bed early and don't really party but like socializing and having a drink. I live a healthy lifestyle and like having a clean environment. I respect your space and value my own but it would be great to have roomie(s) with similar values to share a dinner every now and then :) Plus I'm always up for a coffee, tea, brunch or a workout! Feel free to message me if you'd like to know more and change contact details.
Hi, I'm Kirstin. 26 years old and working full-time as a graphic designer. I'm looking to move closer to work in the new year which would be the Paddington/Milton/Toowong area. I'm clean and considerate. I'm happy and social but also very much value my down/alone time. I enjoy a wine of a weekend and love movies/TV. Any other questions - just ask me! Thanks :)
I keep to myself most of the time. I own a 2 year old maltese x toy poodle who is fully house-trained and does not shed. She's very clingy to anyone who lets her and has the cutest personality. I am clean, and respectful of others' privacy and personal belongings and would hope to be shown the same courtesy. As I work 6 or so days a week in shift work I am rarely home on a regular basis (I am always finished work by 10pm though). I love going out on the weekends for a drink or two but also enjoy having a quiet night in watching Netflix.
hellooo! we’re 2 pals looking for someone/another 2 to team up with and find a house. we’re both super chill and respectful of space and clean. we love netflix and being social and would love someone who would enjoy our company as our friend too :)
Hey, my name's iesha and I'm currently looking for somewhere nice to move into! I work part time at rebel sport and am studying criminology and criminal justice next year at Griffith. I'm really clean, enjoy my own space but also love spending time with friends and housemates. Health and fitness is a strong value of mine and I spend a lot of time at the gym when I'm not working, so would love to live with people who are on the same page. I've got two ragdoll x kittens that would be moving with me, so please consider if that would be an issue :) I'm relatively flexible with move-in dates and could move in somewhere ASAP but don't see a problem in waiting for a place either. If I sound like a potential housemate, feel free to shoot me a message with any other questions. Look forward to hearing from you :)
