Hey, I have been living in Sydney for almost 1 year and still would like to know new people. I always keep things clean and tidy and I'm also friendly. Would love to find a place with great atmosphere and always happy to have a chat and do things with other housemates. If you need your own time, I will stay out of your way. I work full time Monday to Friday so I'll be hardly home. Would prefer to find a place that has airconditioning and is close to the train station or buses that come regularly. I also have a car and need street parking.
I am a normal Aussie guy who gets along with most people, young and old. I respect other people's privacy and property. I enjoy a quiet drink on occasion and as with most people I love to have a laugh. I can also adapt quite easily so if I live in a quiet house, I can respect other people's preferences.
Hello ! My name is Visalakshi. I'm 21 years old and I come from India. I'll be starting my masters in Macquarie University next month. I'm a friendly, clean and fun person. It will be convenient if I find a place near the university. Thanks in advance.
My names Justice, I’m originally from Canada, but within the last four years have lived and worked in Melbourne and the United Kingdom. I have been working in the film industry for 13 years and am currently working for a film production company. Although my work in film and video is diverse, my specialty preference is music visuals and documentaries. I have work experience in all aspects of music video production, album promotions covering artists with Warner Brother Records, BBC Radio and Atlantic Records. My documentary experiences are focused on third world awareness. Covering refugee crisis’ in Africa, Asia, as well as across Europe documenting the Calais ‘J jungle’ in France has provided me with many opportunities to learn, grow and travel. Wether I’m on a music tour, or doing a documentary I have to be good at, not just tolerating, but enjoying the company of the people I’m living with. I’ve worked in 19 countries and 5 continents so I have learned to be flexible, adaptable and helpful in a wide spectrum of roommate arrangements. In Sydney I already have contract in place with TV channel and I will be working full time. I will be arriving in Sydney January 20th, so I won’t have and Australian number until then. As a person, I work a lot, I tend to be home late. I’m young in the industry but I work very hard to keep pushing myself, I’m hoping to stay in Sydney long term. I don’t drink or smoke, nor am I into the party scene. I’m really chill and I make friends easily.
Hey! My name is Emily I'm from Sydney but currently living in Glenhaven (near castle hill). I'm currently living at my boyfriends grandparents house and I'm super desperate to get out and live in a share house again! (Boyfriend wouldn't move with me) I work in a hair salon at knights bridge so I have weekly income as well as government payment so I won't miss a bill. I normally go out with friends for fun, attend gigs or play with make up and hair. I'm clean and clean up after myself, I'm friendly and always happy to meet new people. I respect people's privacy and don't get in their personal bubble. I also respect when people need their quiet time or are sleeping, I'm not a loud person.
Easy to get along with, down to earth, incredibly considerate and responsible. Work in the healthcare industry on the Northern Beaches. Enjoy an active lifestyle where home is mostly a sanctuary. Love music, a nice breakfast, lunch or dinner, the beach and time with family and friends!

Hello There! We will be moving to Sydney from Brisbane mid-late January and will be looking for a furnished room in a share house or granny flat. We would prefer our own bathroom but are happy to share in the right place. A bit about us ... Rowan is an environmental consultant and I am a (newly graduated) urban planner, we are moving because I have been lucky enough to get a graduate job. We have both lived in share houses for 6+ years so are completely used to pitching in with cleaning. We are friendly, social people who are happy to chill out but also like time to ourselves. We also have two pets, an indoor 4yr old cat, who is very chilled and affectionate. And a 5yr old golden retriever who is very well trained and very lazy, he is used to a fairly small yard and after his morning walk generally sleeps/eats all day. I am willing to pay a pet bond if required - but if you can not allow pets we have arranged for our fur babies to stay with family. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you would be interested in us as roomies :-).
We are father/daughter. I am a sustainable engineer going into politics and she's still at high school with musical talents. We are clean/tidy, follow routines, into Asian fusion meals, animals don't faze us and for fun very outdoorsy people into hiking, canyoning, caving, rock climbing etc happy you join us. We cycle everywhere, no car atm. Looking for a home with other like minded happy, positive people.

I don't know a lot of people in Sydney so if there is some social house mates willing to show me around the city that would be a bonus. I'm a home owner myself and handy with maintenance etc. Currently living in a Perth sharehouse with 3 under 24's and have lived in many share houses in the past. Flying to Sydney on the 1st Feb and looking for accommodation as close to this date as possible. I'm a car guy and usually have 2 cars so need somewhere that can accommodate that. Chow. this is the bump line with useless information used to bump me to the top of searches :)

I am currently pursuing a Master degree at Macquarie University. I am fun to hang out with or explore new places as we get to know each other better. On the other hand, I respect other's privacy as I also want that in return. During break-time, I like to explore Sydney to cherish and memorize this wonderful opportunity. I enjoy cooking for myself, so I always keep everything clean for my roommates to experience the same. I am also a pet lover because I have 6 dogs at home (Vietnam). I don't smoke.

We are very easy going and quite social so we enjoy a good chat and a casual drink (or a few) every now and then :) we are respectful of privacy and are both tidy and don't like to leave dirty dishes in the kitchen sink.

Hey I'm Julius! Recently moved up from Melbourne. Manager for Woolworths...generally involves working 12hr days so I wont be home much! Most of my family/friends live in Melbourne so I fly down there quite often too. I would describe myself as friendly, respectful and easygoing. I've had housemates in the past and have never had any issues. I'm clean, quite and considerate too! Not a big party person as I tend to be exhausted coming home. Although I will definitely pull my weight around the house in relation to chores!! Hopefully hear from you soon...

Hello. I am currently looking for a place. I am unemployed but on a Disability Pension so I have some money coming in because I am unable to work. I have a sweet little black domestic short-haired cat named Delphine who I require to stay with me for mental health reasons. I am very quiet at first but when I get to know people I will open up. I generally spend my days listening to music, painting, reading and learning languages so I mostly keep to myself. I have my own furniture due to the fact I am moving out of a house I was renting previously. :)
I am starting work in Pymble so looking for a room in surrounding areas. I am a quiet female who enjoys my own space and also likes to socialize with others. I am clean and respectful and am well organized and take pride in my surroundings. I will be working full time and will be away from the place for the majority of the day when my full time work starts. I am from Ireland and moved to Australia 5 years ago. I also have my own bedroom furniture which includes a queen bed and other furnishings so looking for an unfurnished room
Reason for the move: I'm going to be starting a new job in Pennant Hills on the construction of the underground tunnel in 4 weeks. I'm moving over from Perth. I have quite a bit of furniture. Big 65" TV, all bedroom furniture (queen size bed and 2x chest draws), few pots and pans etc. I have a car and will require a car space or street parking is fine (hopefully no added expense) About me: I'm 33, single, and work in the mines FIFO. I'm looking for a change and back into my career of digital records management. This happens to be in Sydney. I'm looking for a place that is neat and tidy. I don't drink, and am pescatarian. Love to cook. Enjoy going to the gym, keeping active and spending time at the beach. I also like to watch Netflix and chill on weekends. Not looking for a party share house although I do love to go out and watch live music and hit up gigs and pubs. I like drinking cups of tea and chilling out most nights. I'm living in a share house now (I'm the owner), I'm very respectful of rules and quirks of the household. I'm looking for a pet friendly house. The other housemate: I have a beautiful pug Bee Bee. He is 5yo and is very house trained. Pugs suffer in the heat so he would be an inside pooch for the most part, hope that is ok. Super friendly, great with kids and other animals. Can bring my own portable dog door so he can come and go in the house to outside. The dog is my responsibility and I take full care of him. He may greet you with unsuspecting slobbery and cuddles as he is a friendly little guy. I'm a pretty normal person moving over to start a new career for the next 2 years. If I sound like someone you might be able to live with hit me up :)

Moving to Sydney for work. I'm tidy, reliable and a decent cook (if I do say so myself). Looking for housemates with an apartment or meeting other people who'd like to team-up to get an apartment. Guys/girls, it doesn't matter - as long as you're friendly and fun to live with.

Hi there, I currently live in Canberra but I work in Sydney. I will most likely travel to Sydney on Sunday afternoons and return to Canberra on Thursday evenings, but it will vary depending on my work schedule. Occasionally, I will spend the weekend in Sydney. I have lived in Sydney for the last 10 years in Toongabbie, Baulkham Hills and Wentworthville, however moved to Canberra for a more relaxed lifestyle. Currently looking for a place in Parramatta, the Hills district or Lane Cove areas. I enjoy gym, crossfit and squash. I play a little bit of guitar and piano in my spare time. Looking forward to hearing from you. Steve
I'm friendly and get on with most people, but a little bit introverted. Tidy up after myself and have a clean room. Love the beach, like to cook and don't mind sharing. would like to move in with people I can be friends with. I work a lot so will be in and out the house. I have some furniture that takes up space like a fridge, chair & futon, outside table and some little things like glasses & mugs I've been collecting. I also have a car so at least need street parking. Looking to move out in March/April
We are two friends who are after two double rooms in the Hills district. We are an electrician and hairdresser into health and fitness who both work 5-6 day weeks and live busy lifestyles. We are mature, super friendly and easy going, reliable, punctual, tidy and highly respectful. Whilst we like time to ourselves, we are also up for chilling out casually, but will not throw parties. Looking for a place to rent with like-minded house mates!
Hi! We are moving to Sydney in February and are looking for one or two housemates to join us in starting a new share house. I have recently graduated from Uni and am starting a job in media and Dave studies nursing and works as a bartender. We are both easy going individuals, very clean and enjoy a good chat as well as time to ourselves. I will be working full-time and Dave will be working part-time whilst studying. Just a bit about myself: I love exercise and the outdoors, I love hiking/bushwalking, I have a horse (don’t worry he won’t be living with us), I enjoy cooking, I enjoy a good cheese plate and a glass of wine, I enjoy traveling and I enjoy history. We are looking in areas such as Parramatta, Rydalmere, Ryde, Epping and surrounding suburbs. We are looking to pay up to $300-400 between the two of us. We are looking for a place that is in close proximity to public transport for convenience to Sydney CBD. We have two cars so street parking, a carport or a garage is a must. If we sound like the type of people that you would like to live with, get in touch! Feel free to send me a message
I am 23, currently working full-time as a customer relations coordinator at RFG in Castle Hill, Work as a casual on weekends behind the bar. Very easy going , outgoing and tidy , Currently keeping my eye out for accommodation. Something in between Castle Hill and North Sydney City.
I'm a 21 year old fashion photographer looking to for a room or a team-up. I work full time in the City 5-6 days a week. I am very friendly, sociable, tidy and I don't mind having an odd drink or two on the weekend. I am looking for long term accomodation with like minded professionals who are clean, tidy and can pull their own weight in the house.
Hullo all, I'm Pat, I'm from New Zealand and I like tea, cheesecake, mountain biking and Bob Dylan. Moving to Sydney in January for a job, working full time in a consultancy (engineering geology) in North Ryde. I'm brand new to Sydney and looking to find a relaxed, mature and friendly household to fit into somewhere on the north shore. I'm outdoorsie and generally pretty active (hiking, mtb, snowboarding) , although I also really enjoy my time at home with a book, movies or gardening. I don't drink or smoke, and prefer a non-partying household. I'm clean and responsible, skilled in taking care of a sink of dishes or on the vacuum cleaner. Looking forward to the move to the big smoke. Can provide references. cheers :)
Hi, My name is Chelsea, I'm 24 years old & I'd classify myself as an extroverted introvert. I am a full time beauty therapist in North Rocks. I love animals, although I have no pets of my own. Ideally I'm hoping to find a suitable place to move into by April 2017, there's not a huge rush at the moment. Max $200 - $270 rent + bills. Not interested in shared rooms. I'd like to live with people aged between 20- 30 years old.
I'm a 22 years old Indonesian and a master student candidate of Macquarie University. I love many things especially music and foods. I'm also a musician, I played Piano and some wind instruments. I'm not a fan of sharp smells (especially cigarette smokes) and loud noises at the night. I'm an easy-going person and easy to approach, kinda talkative but also a bit introverted. I'm not sure about this, but my friend told me that I'm quite comforting to talk to. I love dogs, so I don't really mind if you have pets anyway, as long as it doesn't rip all of my clothes. My current problem is I'm still in Indonesia right now and my arrival in Sydney is on 11th February
Jonty works as a bartender, Meg works in retail and studies at Macquarie Uni. We are looking for a share house/apartment that has easy access to public transport. Meg has an interest in screen production and enjoys watching films, divulging in new foods whether it be cooking of eating out, taking part in outdoor activity and is first up for a dance or karaoke sesh (at home or otherwise)! Jonty also shares an interest in food, spends time gaming, listening to music and playing guitar. He continuously looks for good burger joints and craft beer (without the attitude). Both enjoy having friends over for the occasional BBQ, going out or just a night of Netflix. All in all, we are down to earth very sociable, outgoing people capable of keeping both personal and mutual living spaces tidy and respecting the need for privacy.
Born and raised in Sydney, I grew up in the area and studied at Macquarie Uni for my undergrad. I enjoy playing/watching football or any sport for that matter, travelling, gaming, and enjoying a yarn about life over coffee or beer/wine. I have been relocated by work from full-time in the CBD to Norwest so M2 is my daily commute and I figure a nice townhouse behind Macquarie would suit me perfectly as it is fairly central to Sydney with plenty of transport options. I have a couple of months up my sleeve on my current lease so am looking to play the market and find a modern place with a good bush view (no cheap student housing, but nothing over the top). Looking to meet someone who thinks they may want to share my new home for at least 6 months. I work in the home entertainment industry so if you like movies, games, or pay tv, I have that covered lol. Ideal candidate would be 23-30, work or study full-time, eats relatively well and enjoys watching or playing sport too. A healthy knowledge of housesharing etiquette would be great too. Send me a message on this site and lets chat if you think we'd be a good fit :) Hooroo, Luke
