My name is Annaliese and I just finished being a fulltime student at RMIT (for the past 4 years) studying the Bachelor of Fashion Design Honours course. I work in the city, so I'm looking for a place with great public transport. I am looking to be put on a lease and to move into a new place asap. I am currently living in Brunswick. I am quite a homebody and enjoy sewing, a few wines, and a Netflix marathon or two. I own an industrial sewing machine which I need space for, (I own a Juki machine mounted on a table), along with a double bed, bedside draws and chest of draws. I also own several cube units, a kitchen bench, an outdoor setting and a fridge, but I can put those into storage if needed. Please get into contact if you think I might work in your house/apartment! I'll be looking at places all week.
Hi! My name is Isabelle, I am a 20 year old Lighting/Audiovisual Technician. I recently graduated from RMITs Live Production Diploma course and now I'm looking to move closer to the city so I can commit to more work. I will contribute to cleaning up shared living spaces of the house and cooking meals/buying groceries. But privacy and respect of one anothers rooms and selves is my main rule. Don't get me wrong though, because I love to hangout and chill with a couple of beers. I am a pretty relaxed person who thinks honesty is the best policy. I work consistently with two companies plus freelance work on the side.
Hi my name is Nicole and I'm 25. I'm a recent Textile Design graduate who just got a full time job in Dandenong. I'm moving from Geelong so looking for somewhere near the city close to the M1 for easy travel to work. Looking to move early-mid Jan 2017. I'm clean and respectful and easy to get along with. I'm very active, love fitness and the outdoors. Love to explore, travel, and socialise with friends (whether that be out for drinks or movie nights in). Nicole :)
I am a tree doctor and musician/ artist that is currently looking for a place to collaborate with my two best friends. Make music make art and then explore the world and its treasures. In the hope of sharing our too.
Hey there! My name is Shivani and I am moving to Melbourne in early 2017. Originally from Sydney, I am looking for a change of scenery in Melbourne. I work full-time for a think tank. I am sociable, active, clean and love to travel. I am always happy to have a chat and share a meal or a drink, but completely understand that everyone needs their privacy and space. Looking for like-minded people to share a home with.
We are desperately looking for a place to stay in Melbourne. We arrive the 19th and want to stay for almost two months. We are two backpackers from Belgium, both 18 years old and we want to see Australia (everything) in 8 months. We both graduated from college and decided to see a bit of the world. We are very flexible and everything will do, as long as we'll have a roof above our heads. Kind regards Gust & Yasuni
I'm moving to Melbourne to start university next year at VCA in Southbank, and am looking for any nice and affordable place to live. I'm introverted and quiet but easygoing and up for socialising, and I'm easy to get along with. I am a photographer and love art, music, films, games, and pretty much anything creative. I'm also vegan and an animal lover, and great with pets.
My boyfriend and I are currently looking to rent a room from the 21st of jan! Willing to pay around $300 a week for a room. We both work during the week, I work at a primary school and My boyfriend is an accountant. We do like to go out clubbing every now and again but will be respectful of others and will keep it quiet. We are both very clean and always clean up after ourselves. We are very easy going people and like meeting new people but we are also very quiet too. Thanks in advance!
Recently took a semester off to travel - now that I'm back I'm looking for somewhere to call home! I'm an engineering student by trade (completing a diploma of beauty therapy on the side). Respectful, tidy, and house trained. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, trying to jog, eating, playing board games, exploring the city, and binging on Netflix. I tend to keep quite busy but am also the type to be down for a glass of wine on occasion. I would prefer someplace in the inner city suburbs either close to a train station or a few tram lines (mostly because I'm still yet to get my P's!). P.S. I can cook - sort of P.P.S I can also come with an xbox one with kinect and apple TV
Currently, I am working as a freelancer doing many projects, dependent on the client. So, I do spend a lot of time at home, most of which I will spend in my room/office space. My cat Mackerel is both an indoor and outdoor cat and is extremely well-behaved and toilet trained. You might find him lounging around wherever is the comfiest spot. In a home, I most definitely am looking for housemates that are respectful and people I can have good conversations with. I work from home, so it definitely is important to me to have housemates who are independent and respectful. Cannot live in party houses or "half-way" houses -- I prefer and will only live with adults, who are respectful and understanding. Good taste in music, literature and films are also a whopping huge bonus. In terms of a physical home, just somewhere cosy that feels like home -- a sanctuary, not necessarily a palace. Gardens are extremely favourable.
Hi I'm Zizi, And I would love to be your roommate! I'm looking for somewhere to live while studying my Graduate Diploma of Journalism at Melbourne Uni. What I lack in cooking skills I make up for in tidiness and good conversation. I'm in Sydney at the moment but I would love to Skype anyone interested in a new roommate!
Hey there, I'm Dave Montgomery I'm working full time currently at Brighton Toyota. I'm needed a new place to move too early 2017. I've lived in Melbourne for 5 years. I'm originally from New Zealand. I'm a single fun loving guy, I'm a hard worker, I love socialising. Looking for a great place for the next year.
Hello world! My name is Millie, I'm a student at Monash Clayton and I also work in retail ~3 days a week so that I can spend money on things that make me happy like tea and going camping. I am a bit of a nature junkie, so I'm always on the look out for buddies to take on hiking trips or spontenous bushwalks. I'm currently on exchange in Copenhagen but I will be returning to Australian soil at the end of Feb. I'm Tassie born and bred, and I fly home once every month or two to visit the fam. I love having friends around for coffees or cozy little dinner parties every now and then, and I am always down for a beer and a good laugh in the evenings. I try to take my studies seriously (ha) so I do tend to be a little quiet during the week. I've been travelling and moving around quite a bit over the past year, so I'm looking to put my roots down somewhere nice and start building a proper nest - I'm happy to reconsider the budget if it is the perfect place! Hit me up if you think I sound semi-bearable and if you've got a place available from the end of Feb!
Hey, I'm Matthew. I'm from Sydney originally, where I worked for Apple. Moved to Melbourne at the start of 2015 for an Acting school which I've now graduated from. I work as courier on the side now which lets me pay bills and keep active. Outside of that I've started Calisthenics training, as well as Dance and Piano lessons. I've lived in share houses since I was 18 and have been privy to good housemates and bad, so you can be sure I'll make a good housemate for you. I clean up immediately after cooking. I'm quiet at home and enjoy my rest and peace. I'm consciencious of the sound I make and my influence on the living space for my housemates. No smokes/drinks/drugs. Not a racist. No prejudices. I'm a grown up. Financially responsible | I will always have rent paid on time. I'm honest. If I break it, I'll tell you and repair/replace it. Cool with any pets. Friendly. I'm Vegan | I don't sweat what you eat or how you live. Not thrown by any sights or smells. Grown up.
Hey I'm Naomi. I moved to Melbourne recently from London and I am looking for somewhere long term to live 6 - 12 months ish. I'm laid back and friendly, looking for somewhere a bit homely where we can occasionally hang out/go for drinks but equally like my own space. I enjoy eating out, coffee, yoga, exercise, travel and exploring. Flexible about when I move too. Staying in Windsor at the moment.
Hello potentials, Easy going, clean, respectful, socialable lad . I work in hotel management and as a barber as well. Hi , I'm Duygu cheerful girl , from Turkey. I will come to Melbourne as a student for 2 months maybe 3. I am tidied up and neat. I always clean things after me, so that's not gonna be a problem. Not a neat freak. Pets are ok for me, if you have. I love any kind of animal especially cats and dogs ! I can take the dog out for a walk and feed the cat all the time <3 no prob. I am friendly, outgoing, open-minded, cheerful. I like partying (outside of course) , movie nights, watching tv series, grabbing a glass of wine sometimes..Not a 24 hours party animal but I like meeting with new people, chatting, sharing thoughts, funny stories.. I do respect other's life and spaces. I'm quiet at home but if you call me for PS,movie, chatting, dinner I'm always in ^^ Probably my English school will be between 9ish and 14o'clock, Mon-Fri. I'm looking for a place as a private room. Yard would be fine to chill and BBQ(I'd never complain about something if you'd do it everyday haha). I might be a student in Melbourne, but no worries about the bills cuz I'm already employed in my country. I'll be landed on 8th so it's a bit urgent !

Hi! I am professional in Advertising, from Colombia but lived and worked in Buenos Aires for 8 years and now here in Melbourne. I am doing a part-time internship and looking for a casual job as well. I've lived with many people while being in the University, so I am very social and easygoing, enjoy having a good conversation but I also understand and respect other people's space, I am very tidy and clean and would love to live with someone that shares the same thoughts :) Currently living in Hawthorn East and I need to move in January 12. I am looking for a long-term private room.
Hello, there I seeking to leave with somewhat like minded people, I really enjoy my home space to be quite and clean (must) I enjoy eating healthy, exercises, travel, socialising all things that feel good to me, I am up for a chat but do really like to use my home space to relax and un-wind from the busyness life sometimes. I am very respectful, easy to get along with, pay bills on time, and love to cook food to share sometimes if your up for it :) if not this is also cool, Peace <3 Essentially seeking a room furnished with a double bed, and wardrobe (great if built in) with rent $160 including bills send me a message if this sounds like your home
Myself and my friend will be coming to Melbourne on Jan 14. We both have completed engineering & will be in Australia for 2 years. We both prefer a single room at an affordable amount. We both are jovial and adaptable to any situation.
We are sociable and extremely tidy! We are pretty easy going and are happy to spend time with others and also by ourselves! We are looking for people similar to us to live with for 4-6months as wen are fairly new to Melbourne!
Hi my name is Lucy and I'm moving from Adelaide to Melbourne in January to start a new job! I work M-F in the banking industry but always find time to squeeze in exercise (gym and Pilates), cook delicious healthy meals and a bit of down time on the couch to catch up on the social media. I enjoy going out and given I'll be in a new city, I'm very keen to meet new people. Must admit I do enjoy the finer things in life these days but always up for letting the hair down. Currently I play club tennis on a Saturday and would be keen to continue this in my new city. I'm looking for a house that feels like a home, is clean and tidy, and is filled with good vibes! Preferably I'll have my own bathroom, a place to park my car (on street is ok) and access to public transport. I'm open to a housemate dinner and wine night every now and then too! Most people would say I'm easy going and fun to live with! Send me a message and we can FaceTime!
I am a very easy going person who loves to socialise. I'm from Salisbury in England and 20 yrs old. I like going out but prefer being somewhere a bit more chilled with a pint of beer. I'm currently working in hospitality however I won't have a job as soon as I move to Melbourne but currently still have a enough saved for a couple months rent. Would be fab to live with people who enjoy socialising together maybe even doing little trips together and making dinner together is always fun!
I'm a 20 year old medical student looking for a place near the city. I'm generally kept pretty busy with study, but I like touristing around Melbourne or going out for lunch, and try to drag myself to the gym at least once a week. Next year I'm more likely to stay in for some Netflix and tea, but I do enjoy going out to bars or having a couple of friends over for drinks. Looking for a small sharehouse or unit to call home for at least a year. Ideal flatmates are easy going people around the same age, happy to share meals (I hope you like spaghetti!), and will keep up their half of the housework.
I am queer and sometimes gender-nonconforming/femme in my presentation and my partner is trans, if this is an issue don't bother messaging me. My move date is pretty flexible. I am a friendly, tidy, and responsible 22yo social science/teaching student, I've also just picked up a part-time warehousing job that I'll be starting in the next fortnight. I am always up for a chat but unintrusive, much of the time I will either be out or studying but I'm open to both independent and more friendly share arrangements if we have similar interests/get along. I am vegetarian and prefer to organise my own food, although I enjoy cooking and don't mind sharing at times. I don't currently have any furniture, however I'll be able to source my own quickly (I have a blowup mattress I can use until I get a bed) and can supply my own kitchenware, other than an oven/hotplates. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere with a nice kitchen and a room that fits a double bed. I'm looking for at least a 4 month lease, somewhere longer (up to a year) is no problem either.
Down to earth, clean, sane, and outgoing American guy who has been living abroad for 3 years and has no reason to go home because... well.. Trump. Currently residing in Auckland and moving to Melbourne for a badass job in the health and fitness field as well as expanded my own online business. A good time on the weekend but won't bring it back home. Have a beer with me and I promise you won't hate me.
Hiya! I'm an outgoing, fun-loving education student, studying full time at ACU! I'm looking to either move into an existing share house or start up a new place over the semester one period (now- mid June 2017). I'm clean and tidy, considerate, and reliable. I'd love to move into a place with people who are sociable and enjoy a chat as well as night in on the couch watching Netflix. Likewise, I do enjoy a night out and so would ideally like to move in with people who like to do the same! Shoot me a message if you'd like to catch up for a chat!
Hi I'm Stacey, 22 & moving to Melbourne in mid/late January. I'm very easy going & get along with everyone. Have a good sense of humour, neat, tidy & respectful. I enjoy cooking & keeping fit & healthy. Love to explore the outdoors & always in search for the latest trendy cafe or pop-up bar. Although I love being social, I do appreciate down time & often find myself on the couch watching OffSpring & enjoying a glass of wine... or two! If you think we would get along well, I would love to hear from you :)
We are a young couple from Tasmania, looking to move to Melbourne for work. We are both very clean and always clean up after ourselves. We are very easy going people and like meeting new people but we are also very quiet too. We enjoy travelling and spending our weekends out exploring. You won't have any trouble or problems with us. We would prefer to move in with another couple and would like a more modern unit or apartment, however we are open to look at anything. We would like to get a place somewhat close to the train station as we would only be bringing one car over. Maddison works in Tasmania as a payroll officer and Tom works as a teachers aide and child educator. These are the professions we would most likely continue in Melbourne. Maddison and I enjoy travelling spending our weekends out in the city; shopping and eating out but we also enjoy going to the beach and going on bush walks. If you have any questions or would like to talk to us more please feel free to message us. Thanks Tom and Maddison.
Hey guys, my names Josh. I'm 22. I'm looking to move from NZ to Melbourne soon. I work as a cocktail bartender and am looking to live somewhere near the city. I'm quite chill and open minded. I enjoy going to the gym, socializing, hanging out with flatmates and having a few drinks . So I'm looking to move in with people around my age that enjoy hanging out and exploring the city. Move in date and location is flexible. Thanks!
My name is Joseph, I'm 22, just moved to Melbourne from Adelaide and am looking for a place to stay.I have a full time job in the City at a place called Iloura. I'm a digital artist who works in film (everything from Mad Max, to Deadpool, to Game of Thrones). I am currently on a 6 month contract but with an almost airtight guarantee for an extension. I'm sociable but I'm not into going out to clubs/bars every weekend. Being totally new to the area I'm keen on making friends and having a good time (in my spare time). I absolutely agree with keeping a tidy house and can also cook. I'd love to find a place to move into before Christmas. Cons about me: I don't drink coffee (everyone here seems to love it)
Hi, we are a couple looking for a room somewhere around Melbourne (preferably Richmond) with great connections to the city since we are both studying and working in and around the city. We would prefer to not pay more than 360 per week for both of us, but can be discussed. It is Frida who is 21 years old from Sweden, and Russell who is 21 (soon 22) from outside of Melbourne. We are a friendly and social couple who would love to be friends and hang out with the people we live with but at the same time have respect for our privacy since we will have a lot of studying to do. Other than that, we are two normal students who likes to have fun and hang out, go out once in a while and not just sit at home. If we sound like the people for you, then we'd love to hear from you! :)))
Hey :) I'm Mike, a 25 year old Londoner who's made the move to Melbourne. I work full time in the sports industry based in the CBD and so am looking for a place within easy travelling distance of the city. Flexible when it comes to location, length of lease and weekly rent amount. The most important thing to me is that the place feels like a home rather than just a room. I'm a clean, fun and friendly person who enjoys socializing with housemates but appreciates that we all need our own space occasionally. I have house shared with both males and females before, understand house share etiquette and always pay the rent/bills on time every time. Excited to find a new place and meet some amazing new housemates so I hope to hear from you soon :)
I love a wine with housemates at the end of the day. From nz and have been here four years. I'm out a fair bit but I don't flake on housework, promise! Also I work in hospo so I'll bring home delicious food on the reg!
Hello! I am a nursing student and usually work in health/cosmetic medicine or temp in offices (until degree is finished). I need a house with a yard with grass. I am making the move from Syd where I have held a lease for years and had my mix of good and bad flatmates. I don't really want the hassle of managing a house and flatmates on my own anymore. I have a house full of cool antique and vintage furniture in storage which can come with me or stay there. I am a good person to live with. I take quick showers, bathroom is tidy after I use it. If I cook I wash and dry same night, wipe down and no food in sink! I empty bins, tidy as I go etc. I keep to myself but can be chatty if you feel like it. I have a very good sense of humour. I come with two quiet dogs. I don't have people over or make noise. All my flatmates have loved my dogs. They would need a corner in a living room for their day beds or a really large bedroom so they could have beds in there. Believe me they sleep a lot. One is a greyhound and one is a mix. No barking, very good in the house. May raid bins if given access, so they have to be supervised if kitchen is open or bins on floor. Never any accidents in house. They don't smell doggy as regularly cleaned. A covered area in back yard or access to a garage would be needed for when I am at work so they can be dry and warm. I am extremely responsible and hard working so all bills and rent are paid on time every time and my dogs have the best of care and no responsibility is on anyone else in house to care for them. I have lived with 19 year olds up to mid 50's. I do Taekwondo and weights. My two best friends live in Yarraville. I love being busy and in my downtime I watch good drama or home Reno shows :) I like to eat out as well. I have been known to down G&T's or champagne and come home drunk once in a while after dancing all night, but that is rare these days, I lean to the left in my politics and would probably like a house that recycles etc..
Hello! My name is Frank and i'm looking to move into a share house in late January. I'm 22 years old and am currently studying post-grad law at Monash. I also work at Centrelink which means I often come home with lots of great stories about the people I encounter! I moved to Melbourne at the start of 2016 from Brisbane, although I am originally from Darwin, NT. I'm generally pretty busy during the week with Uni and Work, although on the weekends I love to be social, hang out and have a beverage. I am a 31yo Female finally moving from Brisbane to follow my life goals of living in Melbourne. I am a registered nurse working part time whilst studying naturopathy part time at endeavour college. I have lived in share accommodation most of my life and have met some of my best friends doing so. I'd say I am a considerate, friendly, easy going and clean housemate. I am looking to move into a home not a party house although I don't mind a casual wine here and there. With the hours I keep and how busy life is for me I like to use home as a place of recoup and grounded-ness. I am hoping to find lovely housemates to share a lovely home with. I look forward to meeting you :)

I'm looking to move into a share house as to meet people and not be totally alone while I find my feet. I will be studying an advanced diploma in professional screenwriting, so I love to write and watch TV for fun. Would prefer single private room only.
My name is Luca, i am a 28 year old italian guy who just got to Australia on a Working holiday visa. I am a friendly and very clean person. Hi! We are from Brazil, she (Yara) is 24yo and he (Mauro) is 34 yo. We are moving to Melbourne next 1st of january. Mauro is architect and professor, and Yara is administrator. However, we are planning to spend at least 8 months studying and working in Melbourne. We are looking for a private bedroom or studio in Melbourne CBD or around (East Melbourne, South Melbourne, Albert Park, Docklands, Carlton, Fitzroy, or Port Melbourne). It is important for us to stay near to the CBD, as Yara will be studying close to Southern Cross Station. We are respectful, quiet, easygoing, tidy and clean people. We would like to have a bit of privacity, nonetheless, have nice people to chat and make new friends would be great.

I'm 25 and I'm a marketer by day and salsa dancer by night. If you're looking for someone to joke around with, binge watch TV with and have deep conversations about Game of Thrones, I am your girl.

We are currently in South East Asia and after spending Christmas in Bali we will be heading to Melbourne at the end of December to live and work there. We enjoy meeting new people, visiting new places, live music and food. we are friendly and sociable but also tidy and respectful of other people's space. We have found somewhere to stay for the first three weeks after we arrive in Melbourne and are now looking to find a place in Melbourne to stay longer term (3-4 months). Happy to hear about anything which could be suitable and more than happy to answer any questions, thanks!
