Hi I’m Bek. I prefer to be ridiculously close to the city - Fitzroy or Collingwood - so I may walk or cycle about rather than spend my life in cars or on trams. I work on festivals and events. During the week I like dining out, lingering in bookstores, going to the cinema, and then getting out of town on the weekends.
We are both engineers from Turkey. We just arrived to Melbourne and have funny problems about aussie accent:) we tend to believe that quality conversations with funny friends is necessary for flatshares. We are both 25 and like to hang around the city, going for a walk, having fun in a original pub.
I am a happy and outgoing person and almost never say "no" to an idea - unless it's way to stupid. I am tidy and clean my room/apartment frequently. I enjoy going out, listening to music, doing sports, meeting new people, cooking or just watching a movie with me friends.
What makes me great to live with? How our preferences read with each other about living in a share house tells if we're suitable. I'll keep it short: 1) I just wanna concentrate on what I'm doing: <<< Studying >>> so I prefer to stay somewhere which is quiet enough. 2) I cannot live in a messy place. The most important parts in a share house imo are: Bathroom, toilet, kitchen (area, sink and refrigerator) 3) I'm a well-educated person: Master's of environmental engineering from the best university in my country. 4) I don't have time for partying. I'm still ok with you partying occasionally. 5) I pay for my rent in advance whenever I have money. doesn't matter if it's due or not. 6) I know very basic cocktails and I make them really nicely. U'll enjoy. I can also brew quality Beer if my housemates like to drink good home-made beer. 7) I don't have a girlfriend and don't need a girlfriend at the moment. 8) I'm 100% pet friendly. 9) I'm a good guy at all :) --> Considerate, respectful and almost tolerant. I expect the same in return. If it's like who you're looking for, don't miss the chance. :) Send me a mssg right now so we can set it up for inspection and a short talk. Cheers y'all
I'm from Vancouver, Canada on a working holiday visa. I've lived in Montreal and Paris for a year each so I speak a bit of French. I have a bachelor degree in sociology and economics but my real passion is creating delicious cocktails. I hope to find a bar in Melbourne where I could call home for the next six months, maybe a year. I'm a bit of a workaholic and tend to spend more time at work than at home. I love exploring new cities, drink coffee, and eating good food. I'm respectful and easy going.
Hi I am from india and I am joining University of Melbourne as a masters student. Currently i am staying in a temporary accommodation and looking for permanent place asap. I cook and love to keep things clean. I am okay with smokers, drinkers and pet. I will be bisy with my studies mostly but a nice chat is always welcome
Hey, I'm Rachel. I'm 25 and am planning on moving to Melbourne in May to work in the Royal Children's Hospital. I enjoy catching up with friends, cooking, going out for brunch/dinner/any food at all, but also don't mind slobbing with a (large) glass of wine and watching netflix. I'm super friendly and social but like my own space at times too. I probably wont be doing much other than chilling after a long day at work but at weekends or days off I'd like to keep busy, explore the city etc, so looking for housemates that I can be friends with! Ideally live with 2+ people, either mixed gender or female :)
23 y.o, a student at Uni Melb. I am in need of accommodation before my classes start (26th Feb) I am a friendly and helpful, clean person, a music lover and non-interfering. I respect people's personal space and appreciate others respecting mine. I am mostly in tech, cars and gaming, and I mostly to keep myself (: I am not too into parties, but I am sociable. I occasionally drink, but I am very responsible when it comes to that, I dont usually smoke. I love pets so if you have one that will be bonus, got none of my own though :( not planning to have any either since Uni would keep me busy and I rather not have someone else taking the responsibility for them.

Hi everyone, we are Bruna and Rafael, a couple from Brazil. 24 years old both. We are here to study English and work, for at least 6 months or maybe 1 year. We are a couple who like to socialize and meet new people, easy going, friendly and clean. Always up for a laugh and chilled out. I (Bruna) have been living in a shared house for more than 5 years (yes, I know how it works), I have a degree in civil engineering and I love coffee, books, series and nightlife for bars and restaurants. Rafael holds a 2-year degree in management. He likes coffee, football, series, movies and bars and restaurants as well. We are looking forward to hearing from you. Kisses, kisses. See you..
I'm currently looking for an affordable and cozy place to stay in close to the University of Melbourne or within 20-ish mins by public transportation. I am a Law student from the University of Birmingham, UK. I'm very laid back, and I understand that you've got your own needs and private space. Can't wait to explore Melbourne ^^ Cheers, Madalina.
I am 32yo Japanese male, working for education agency in CBD Mon - Fri 9am-6pm. Now I have been working on business visa application so that I can stay more than 6 months (at lease 3 months with current visa). Also, I am able to move in anyday after 26th Feb. Mostly I cook dinner at home and do not mind sharing with flatmates while go out to hang out with friends sometimes. I would like to have a chat over a glass of wine with flatmates as well as respect privacy and personal time. Room must be as below: - a private room - no living share - clean and tidy (not extremely) - own key - good access to CBD - no weed/drugs preferable but unneccesary - gym and other fitness facility - outside social space (BBQ space and so) I have been in AUS for 2 years, living in share house. My current owner is leaving AUS therefore I am looking for a new flat. Could you please arrange an inspection if you are interested in. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
My name is Jess. I'm 31 and I work as a media advisor in the city. I am reliable, good to hang out with, am house trained and can make my own bed! Im looking for some cool new housemates to hang out with and have a chat and a wine. Im also respectful of people's space and am considerate of that. Happy to sign a lease.
Hi! I am a 20+ female from Malaysia and have been residing in Australia for many years, currently pursuing a Master degree in Landscape Architecture and will be working and studying in Melbourne starting next year. From my past 6 times of house sharing experience, and several times of sharing rooms at hostels, I have a reputation of being a clean, tidy, and responsible house/roommate. I speak 4 languages, namely English, Mandarin Chinese, Malay and Spanish; and I am an avid traveler. I have just done a big backpack round tour in Europe, had traveled to Japan, and did work and study in China, Ireland and Spain. I consider myself to be an open-minded and mature person, also should be fun to be with as told by my friends. I enjoy cooking and baking, which I don't mind sharing the food with my future flatmates. I am also into arts and design, photography, books, linguistic, culture and history, plants, fitness and DIY. Happy with locations within an hour public transport time distance from city center, within the public transport Zone 1 + 2, even if not listed in my "Preferred locations" section below. Please drop me a message if you think I sound like a friend-to-have / someone who should be living at your flat right now! I don't mind teaming up with like-minded people to rent a property too.
