Hi, i'm Emily, i'm 29 and work full time Monday- Friday. I'm pretty chill during the week but enjoy cooking dinner or having a glass of wine and a chat with housemates also. I'm looking to make somewhere my home and not just a place to stay. I like to think i'm pretty easy going, friendly and good to live with and on the weekends I like getting out and about a lot and enjoy going to shows, going on day trip adventures and hanging out with friends in general.
Viv here, 22 this year, I'm graduating from monash and will be working as a full time nurse starting next year. I'm a tidy, friendly and fun loving person. I have two lovely cats who are very well behaved. I love binge watching american tv series and movies, so if you're a fan of HIMYM or Harry Potter we'll have a blast. I have a part time job at the moment so I'm mostly not around during the summer but is always up for hanging out with housemates and have a chill night in with good food and good company. Not a huge party person either. I'm currently looking for a room to let that ACCEPTS PETS and hopefully have hardwood flooring. Looking to start rent in early February. Cheers!
Hi! We are Nick and Emily, a 27 year old couple keen to find some new housemates and an awesome new place. We are originally from Adelaide but have been living in Auckland for the past few years. Emily recently landed a job in Melbourne and moves in January and Nick will follow suit either in late January or early February. Both work full time - Emily as a lawyer and Nick as an accountant. In terms of time frames, we are hoping to land a place from early February and will be looking to sign a new lease with other housemates. We both really enjoy fitness, keeping healthy and are very social. It would be great to find housemates that are keen to have the occasional family meal, share a bottle of wine or a movie. On the weekends you will usually find us at the gym, having drinks with friends or watching the mighty Adelaide Crows. We enjoy a clean house and are always happy to do our bit to contribute!
I'm mostly quiet at home, normally play video games in my room but I do enjoy hanging out with people with a few beers at the end of the day. Bonus points i get cheap fresh food from my work
I am looking at sharing a house as am over living by myself. Currently live in an apartment in Richmond. I work in Banking/Finance and love what I do. In my spare time I love socialising with friends, I play tennis and ride my motorcycle on weekends. I also have a very timid but extremely friendly and adorable dog (Lola - see pic) who loves people and is house trained. Look forward to hearing from you.
I'm moving over to Melbourne on 23/12 but I'll be visiting friends so won't need a place until the new year. I'm originally Australian but have been living in England most my life and spending the last years working and living in the Netherlands. Im easy to get on with, laid back and sociable. I respect others' privacy and will be out and about most of the time working/exploring the city.
Looking to find a great place to live in Melbourne. I've been living in Melbourne for around 6 weeks, staying at my cousins, but now I want to find a place close to the city where I can relax but also have a great time. I'm originally from Manchester, England... and have moved to Australia for work. For work: I work in Marketing for Crown I have a work hard/play hard mentality. I work long hours during the week so like to spend my weeknights either playing sport/working out or relaxing with dinner and a movie. Of a weekend, I like to go out into the city, check out the bars, maybe catch the soccer or go see some live music.
I'm great to live with as I work full time and have my own schedule, however love to have a coffee or hang out if we are all around at the same time. Pay rent/bills on time. Not into a party house, so respect everyone living at the home/house.
Hello! I'm Anisha, moving from Sydney to Melbourne to study a grad degree at the University of Melbourne (yay! I think?) so I'm looking for abode to call my own in that area. I'm nice, neat, organised, easy-going, responsible, flexible, friendly etc. I studied psych for my undergrad so I know how to listen (if that bears any weight). Your dream housemate, I imagine? Can live in a veggie/vegan household, will share the chores, will make my bed. Looking for a low key vibe house with people who are like-minded and will pull their weight but ultimately also people I could even call friends (lol corny_ebooks).
Hey all! I'm a Canadian coming to Melbourne in early February to work and experience a new part of the world! First things first, I'm extremely clean and organized. I would hate to share a living space with someone who doesn't clean up after themselves so you can rest easy knowing I'll pull my weight. I'm laid back and easy to get along with. I'm into many different types of music and movies. I want to do a lot of adventuring while I'm in australia and I really enjoy heading out for drinks. Also very into sports! Down to hang out and become friends but also appreciate the need for privacy and your own space. Looking for a fun, trustworthy and reliable roommate looking to share a 2 bedroom flat, would also consider a share house with likeminded people! Contact me, lets chat!
Hi Guys! My name is Mitch. I'm a 20 year old student studying teaching at CSU and come from a regional town in NSW, Bathurst. I'm wanting to move to Melbourne for a change of scenery and to try something new. I'll still be studying via distance but am in the process of locating a full time job. Moving to Melbourne isn't going to be a holiday for me, just really keen on new experiences, meeting new people, and enjoying new places. I like going for runs and love to sit and catch up at the end of the day. I like cooking (but I'm no Masterchef) and I am a tidy person (I'm housetrained!). I like to have fun and go on different adventures. Prepared to try anything new and will give anything a go! Disney movies are a win. Love to watch most sports and wouldn't mind going along to some live games! If i have missed anything let me know, and i will let you know.Hope to hear from you soon, thanks!! :)

Hey team So I've been living the dream over in Canada for the past two years. Doing a bunch of cool things like skiing, horse riding, travelling around, drinking etc etc. I'm studying Youth Work full time next year at RMIT so looking for somewhere to rest my head every night. I will most likely be working as well cause I'll need to afford life. I haven't got a job yet- but I'm not worried About that just yet- I'm a decent waitress so the right job will probably present itself. I'm 25 (26 in Jan 😫) I've been waitressing, travelling and ski instructing around the world since I left high school and now keen for something new. The music scene/ creative and chill vibe of Melbourne has definitely attracted me to this city. I'm down to earth, social, very much into gigs and live music- music in general and being around people but also love my down time and respect people's personal space. I've been living in staff housing and share houses throughout my travels so I totally respect different lifestyles, living arrangements, personal boundaries and the big one... being tidy 🙂 I've also been known to have killer dance moves and I can show you my ways if you would like. I'm actually from Coffs Harbour and not looking at moving down until January some time (pretty flexi) but thought I'd get the word out and see if something might present itself. I will fly back down early/mid Jan to have a look at places and meet people if that suits as well. I have references as well if my blurb didn't satisfy you at all!!! Thanks so much!!! Look forward to hearing from some people! Aimee
We are a British couple backpacking in Melbourne until the end of June. We enjoy going out aswell as watching a good film/documentary. But also that like their own space. 😁
Hi there! I'm an American college student studying at the University of Melbourne from February 2017-June 28th 2017. I will be in Melbourne the beginning of February, and I'm looking for affordable housing while I study. I'm a courteous, fitness/health oriented, outgoing/social, vegan, open-minded, and organized individual. Looking for share-housemates that share the same vibes as I, and that will become friends. :)
We are two Canadians here for the trimester on exchange at the Deakin Burwood campus and are looking for 2 rooms in a great (and hopefully furnished) place to live! We’re open to meeting new people while we try to keep up with all of the Aussie slang. We can’t promise we won’t say “sorry” or “eh” every other sentence, but we can promise to be fun housemates! Michelle is 20 in a Communication Studies program and Becca is 22 studying Business. We are both easy people to get along with and like to keep our house clean. We are passionate about wine and cheese nights and do enjoy going out for drinks. While neither of us would consider ourselves gourmet chefs, we will try our best to make a house dinner every now and then. We’ve heard that Melbourne is the hotspot for festivals and cool things to do, and can’t wait to see what the city has to offer. We are planning to remember the “study” aspect of studying abroad, but we are both adventurous and hoping to make the most of our time in Australia. We’re really looking forward to escaping the Canadian winter and cannot wait to make the beach our second home, once we find our first home before the trimester starts. We’ll be arriving in the middle of Feb and staying until the middle/end of June. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions!
Easy-going, smart, funny, charming English guy - lived in shared houses for as long as I can remember and never had a problem anywhere. Will keep things relaxed, clean, tidy, will make you laugh, will make you tasty food (don't worry, I always clean up after myself)... Moving to Melbourne to join a friend of mine in expanding his business (long-term) so expecting to work hard during the week and check the city out at the weekends.
We are 2 easy going individuals who met a few years ago and became friends when I (Rebecca) was there on working holiday. I am from the US and will be moving back to Melbourne to complete my masters in media at RMIT and work part time. Dan originally from NZ has relocated to Melbourne and works full time here. We both like to get away travel when possible and will almost never turn down a beer with mates and just hang out.
Myself and my friend are coming to Melbourne on Jan 14. We both have completed engineering. We both are looking rooms at an affordable amount. We both are jovial and adaptable to any situation.
Hi Everyone, My name is Niketa and I will be arriving in Melbourne on January 2, 2017. I am looking for a place before I arrive. I will be attending Melbourne Law School in February 2017. I am originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Criminology and I am now pursuing my law degree. I want to find a place that is about a 15-20 minute commute to school. Also, I prefer a private bedroom with it's own washroom (ensuite preferred). I am a mature, energetic, independent young woman who has a vast array of dreams and ambitions to accomplish. I have a great sense of humor and I would say that I am a very social person, but I also like my alone time especially when it comes to studying for school. I'm a huge foodie. Toronto has every cultural restaurant you can think of and I love going out to restaurants to try different foods as well as cooking at home. My specialty though is baking cheesecake with a twist. I also love to read, dance and listen to music on my down time. I love the outdoors. I enjoy rollerblading and going for walks/hikes.
I consider myself to be a friendly and considerate person. very enjoy my private time but also respect the privacy of others. I'm a drama free, laughing, easy going guy. looking for someone like me also no weirdo or bad temper. cheers!
I am neat and have healthy habits. I also tend to live a quiet lifestyle to focus on my studies. And I am an international student at the Monash University and work part time. I am looking for a place for the next 7 months.

Hey I'm James from the UK. I'll be landing in Melbourne on the 12th of December, and I am available to move into a room immediately. I'm a Hairdresser and I enjoy being around other people, but I'm not a party animal, I'm clean, tidy - you don't have to worry about mess, noise or anything else. If you would like to ask me anything just message me.
Hi i'm Mikayla, i'm looking for some accomodation (females only) in Melbourne. I am a cheerful friendly person easy to get along with, i like to keep things neat and tidy and i will always clean up after myself. I am looking to move up from the country to become a student after taking one year off saving money, working as a barista. In my spare time i love to dance, occasionally go out or just hang out with friends watching movies and eating snacks. I am also looking to make some great life long friends!
Kayla and I have both complete our HSC this year and are hoping to move to Melbourne to continue our studies. Kayla will be studying next year, while I will be taking a gap year to find a job and work full time. We are both currently supported by Centrelink. Despite the 'move date,' we aren't sure what date we will be moving, but there is a chance I will be moving before Kayla - however we still wish to share accommodation.
Hi! Looking for a furnished room with ensuite. Open for team ups. Need the room by mid of January. Im an international student and also working in events and marketing part time
I'm a pretty relaxed 20 y/o guy looking for people happy to be friends with housemates. I'm working 2 jobs part time until I start an electrician apprenticeship in April, and when I'm not I'm usually out with friends as much as possible so you'll have the place to yourself! I have a super friendly 4-year-old Australian Terrier so a place with some kind of outside space is definitely needed. Looking to move in Jan.
Hey! My names Bianca, I'm a bubbly and chilled out 24yo female moving from Perth to Melbourne to study at RMIT. I'm an artist and live a very low maintenance, relaxed lifestyle. I'm insanely clean, and especially considerate of other peoples space. I also love spending nights in watching movies or relaxing. I'm quite active, and love staying healthy. I don't require a huge bedroom - big enough for a double bed and storage space. I'd love enough room to draw comfortably and a room with great lighting. I also need storage of my motorcycle - it doesn't need to be secure (although this would be fantastic) but needs to be off the road and out of street view. If you think you have the space for me then let me know!! In regards to team-up, I have a friend who also wants to move out and we would love to find a third person to look for a place with us! if you are looking around the same areas and similar budget, send me a message!

I'm James, a 24 yr old kiwi working in advertising. I have been in Melbourne since April and am looking for a quiet and sunny room in a central inner-east suburb. I'm a laid back, friendly guy who is looking for a place to call home and to make new friends and hang out - but I also enjoy a bit of quiet time. I like things to be clean and tidy, but I'm always up for having people over for a few drinks during the weekend. I work in advertising, so if I'm busy, you may not see me for four days, but at the end of it I'll be craving a few drinks and a good laugh. I enjoy eating out and going for drinks, seeing exhibitions and gigs, as well as making the effort to squeeze the odd run in too. Can cook, and happy to share meals if you are too.
I am a student at the University of Melbourne. I am Malaysian but I came here from Los Angeles. I communicate well with others. I have lived with other people before and as a result I respect boundaries between one another. I love traveling, eating and hanging with friends. I am very approachable and easy going. I hope to find a good house with people who could be potential friends.
Hello! I'm a trainee architect from the UK who's just moved to Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I'm available to move immediately. I like to think of myself as a pretty personable and sociable guy and enjoy nothing more than getting to know new people over a drink. I am also clean and considerate of those who I am sharing accommodation with. I also love to cook, so just consider how much better your place will smell and how much better your tea might taste on one of my more generous days if you make the wise decision of picking me ;) Look forward to hearing from you.

Yo, I'm looking to relocate to Melbourne in early 2017 for a gap year (or two) before going into Uni, and i'm just saving up in the meantime. I'm really into comics, anime, games and writing- but I love getting out and going to music events, exploring the city with people and just casual socializing (I can't... sum up all my interests in this, but I swear i'm not dull and i'm open to enjoying lots of things!) I'd prefer a place with chilled out and open-minded people, and while I do value my own time alot i'd definitely be down to spend time with housemates- going out, having movie nights at home and things like that are things I love to do! I'm also into some creative ventures, so if you're someone who wants to work on stuff together that'd be sweet. Looking for a somewhat lengthy stay so I don't have to be constantly moving around and to feel established somewhere. Budget, suburbs, and move date etc are all just close estimates as most of it will change by the time I move- which should be around March but i'm just starting to look early. :)
I'm 18 years old and just finished a two year full time dance course. I'm a dancer and have a part time job in retail work. I'm looking to move in with someone else to reduce cost of living. Really wanting a place with facilities such as pool, spa, gym etc. I'm clean, reliable and a friendly person:-)
