Hi all! We're looking for a 2 to 3 bedroom place not to far from the city. Carlie works at a non profit, booking Auslan interpreters, and Jackie is a nurse who will be starting her masters this year. We're quite chill, clean, and friendly, and we like to have some wine and a chat sometimes, and our own space at other times! We've lived together since May, and since we're both great, we want to continue doing so, plus/minus a third person. Carlie is a salsa dancer and Jackie is a cake/piñata/craft-making extraordinaire!
Hi there! :) My name is Friederike and I'm a 25-year old literature student from Germany, moving to Melbourne to study Creative Writing at Deakin University! :) I love travelling and getting to know other countries: I've lived and worked as a barista in Auckland, New Zealand for a year after finishing school and also did a work internship in Reykjavík, Iceland last year. Apart from that, I travel and explore the world around me as much as I possibly can! My passions include yoga, all things creative, great coffee, books, vegetarian cooking and baking, listening to and making music (mostly metal and (punk) rock but I'm open-minded!), socialising in general as well as enjoying fresh air and the ocean. :) Concerning living with me, I love a good mix between socialising as flatmates and privacy. I'm quite ambitious about my studies and so I need my daily alone-and-quiet time - but at the same time, I enjoy cooking together/simultaneously and spending time together as flatmates! It's the cosiest thing ever, right? I also like being out and about during my free time and I'm not a "couch potato". When it comes to tidying and cleaning, a clean kitchen and bathroom are an absolute must for me. ;) If you can imagine living with me, drop me a message! I'm looking forward to getting to know you. :) ... oh and one last note: my preferred length of stay is in fact roughly 5 months but this website doesn't offer this option. :D
Start from 01/02/2018 (time is flexible!) I’ll study in UNIMEL for two years. I'm finding a clean and tidy place which is within walking distance of the uni. I’m from China but I prefer to live with people from different countries. About myself, ordinary and a little bit boring person(just a humble expression). Spending the most of spare time thinking about useless questions, watching films (especially classic films) or reading books (topics relevant to politics, economics or psychology), stroll, and also interested in live music and sports. I'm not a totally extroverted person but if you need someone to hang out for drinking, watching films or tennis games, I'd like to join. Could also teams up. Please feel free to message if you're interested
My boyfriend and I are looking for a short term stay (around 6 weeks). We both work full time during the week and have weekends off, which we usually spend time with friends out having food or a few drinks. We're both clean and very easy going. Both very sociable people but totally understand everyone needs there own personal space.
We are both 28 and love our sports, cooking, travelling and a good social life. We are fun and down to earth people who are very respectable. We love watching Netflix or playing the PS but also up for sporting events and playing sport whenever we can. We are an Australian and South African couple.
Hi, Bernie here, I'm a 38 yo woman from Melbourne, but I've been living in the Kimberley region of WA for the past 5 years working an an artist/theatremaker/animator, and artsworker. I'm moving back to my original home Melbourne to complete my Masters in Theatre at the VCA. I'm into listening to the radio while painting, cooking, making art, talking, reading, gardening, walking, swimming, dancing, sleeping etc. I work pretty hard, don't party too hard, I fluctuate between hermit and hyper social depending on my workload at the time. I'm clean and considerate and rather skilled in flipping pancakes :)
Moved over from the uk by myself working in the city, love socialising and meeting new people and like a glass of wine and a chill. Not wanting to share a room. Also I can make a lovely cup of tea 💁🏼
We are a friendly, clean & tidy and easy going couple from the north east of England who are looking for a furnished room in Melbourne from 1st February. We're pretty open to any areas with good transport links but ideally would like to be inner north. We love travelling, being outdoors and (trying) to keep fit, music and a decent coffee/wine/beer! We look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Mike & Jayne
Hi, i am Max a 24 year old property surveyor from England. I am relocating from London to Melbourne with work, for 6 months. I am sociable, laid back person who is always up for laugh, even if it is at me! As my time is short in Australia i am looking to make the most of it, i want to find a social house, to meet new people and enjoy a beer or two. I am ideally looking for a house where everyone isn't a stranger and open to socialising in the house some evenings and exploring at the weekends. I am leaving a house share of 3 years in London, so am well trained in keeping the house clean and pulling my weight on other jobs (also pretty handy at DIY) and am respectful of other peoples space. I have been known to cook, but i tend to keep that to myself, as it is very hit and miss. I am keen on sports and enjoy, running, tennis, golf and sailing. Big on watching live sport also, i have been told supporting an AFL team in mandatory, still got to decide on a team though! Any questions for me, feel free to get in touch!

I work part time and am also studying fine art ceramics at rmit. I’ve also been working in my family’s distillery the past year making vodka and gin. I’m very clean and considerate and am looking for a home not a sharehouse. I like to keep to myself yet am social and do love to share a bottle of wine on occasion and have a chat. I’m into art and design and spend most weekends visiting galleries or going for walks and drawing in the gardens. Let me know if you have any questions! Belle
Hi, I'm Kat. Im 37. I'm a little geeky, a little artsy, and these days much more inclined to a quiet wine on a Saturday night than a thumping nightclub. I also run my own learning and development company (I work from home some of the time) so am responsible, gainfully employed, etc etc. I'm looking for a new home with housemate/s that can balance social interaction and fun with respect for privacy and quiet time. Y'know, grown-up stuff!
Recently graduated from bachelor of industrial design RMIT. Working part-time as a barista now while looking for a full-time job as a designer. I am an easy going and open-minded girl who spends most of her downtime reading books, watching films, going to an independent cinema, or local cafe for afternoon coffee/wine and visiting museums/galleries to immerse myself in the latest art curation. I also have an adorable cuddle one-year-old cat. His name is Ascher, I named him after my favourite artist, M.C. Escher! I am clean, organised and easy to live with. Been living by myself for 10 years, so I'm shared-house trained! Looking to share an awesome home with someone who loves cat, doesn't mind spending time discussing books, films, arts, or life in general while sipping red wine or beers with me on some nights but also appreciate privacy and alone time when needed! :) A decent cook and doesn't mind cooking for housemates once in a while and have dinner together.
Hi, I'm Laura, I'm 25 and moved to Melbourne at the begging of last year from the Gold Coast. I am currently working full time at the City of Yarra in Richmond, and am seeking a place that is conveniently located to work as I do not have a car. I am a considerate and tidy housemate. I love meeting new people, hanging out over drinks and nibbles, yet also respect the need for your own personal space.
Hi I'm from California. Moving to Melbourne for an internship in the environmental field. I am tidy, social, respectful, outdoorsy, well-travelled, and love to cook! I would enjoy hanging out with my flatmates, going out, and exploring the city! I will be arriving on January 20th and can meet up then!
Just arrived from Brisbane to study Film and Television! I'm looking for something -not too expensive- and as close to the city as I possibly can and would like somewhere for 3 months or more. Ready to pay 2 months rent in advance! I've lived with other people before, I know how to keep shared spaces clean and respect the house I live in. I'm quite a chill person who's always down for adventuring the city or laying in bed watching movies/listening to music. I am on call all week, so please feel free to contact my number (text is the fastest/best way to contact me)
Hey there, The name is Shrav and studying Business at La Trobe University. I consider myself as an orderly, social and tidy person who cleans up well after. I enjoy having a drink or two with a good conversation and going out on the weekends. Also, know a bit of strumming the guitar to entertain myself and others too, if they looking forward to some trouble :) I am currently doing my travel at South Asia and India, and the ideal time for me to move in would be on 10th of February as my uni would commence shortly. So feel free to shoot a message if you feel I would be a good fit to your lovely house. Looking forward to some cool new housemates. Cheers :)
I'm going to move to Melbourne to start my PhD (full time) at the University of Melbourne. I’m easy going, open mind and I love Netflix. I’m generally quiet but I like to being social and going out sometimes. I look forward to finding a new home.
I am an ED nurse by profession, so live a life controled by shift work. Enjoy going to cafes, movies, keep fit at the gym, passionate about travelling and meeting new people. I enjoy the company of others but equally happy on my own. Easy to get along with and grounded. Have a positive outlook and enjoy life. I’m very respectful of other people and believe that you should treat others the way you wish to be treated yourself. A flatmate/s who likes to hang out and watch a movie and share a glass of wine but someone who is not in your face. Looking for a place to call Home for Upto 6months before I head off to the UK.
Hey, I'm Alex, a third year exchange student looking for accommodation in Melbourne from Mid-February to the end of June, Studying Literature. I'm pretty chill, quite neat and don't mind pitching in with the washing up at all. I enjoy reading thick books, exploring new places, drinking good coffee and watching terrible films. Being a Pomey, I'm probably going to burn a lot and complain about the weather, but I make up for it with some delicious cooking skills and taking banter like a champ. Aside from calls to my girlfriend, I'm none too noisy either, although I do occasionally sing in the shower. If you have a place close to the University of Melbourne, or just a tram line that can get me there, send me message and I'll be in contact ASAP. Hope to hear from you soon, Alex
