Greetings! I'm Jalal and have recently graduated from veterinary school at the University of Queensland. I'm moving down to Melbourne in early January 2018 to start work as a small animal vet in the south eastern suburbs and am looking to share with one or two other housemates. I'm really easy going, friendly, down to earth, super clean and tidy, respectful, vegetarian and into fitness/rockclimbing/the outdoors. Ideally I'd be looking for someone else who is working full time, very clean and tidy, open minded and up for a chat! I'm currently still living in Brisbane and will be down in Melbourne from January 2nd. Looking forward to finding a sweet pad and meeting some cool new folks!
My name is Dino, I am a 31-year-old male Australian Citizen who works full-time in Fawkner, Victoria, Australia. I'm originally from Adelaide but have successfully worked and lived in Melbourne since 2015. I am always clean, tidy, professional, responsible, good listener, excellent rent and bill payer who pays on time, friendly, polite, happy-go-lucky and easy going. Always cool, calm and collected, anger is never part of my vocabulary and seeking a flatmate/s who has the same temperament. Knows how to adapt to the person next to me (ie when to be quiet and serious and when to have fun and be social). My closest friends tell me I'm successful, enthusiastic, generous person who makes them laugh. In my spare down time I love to swim, study, read books, play guitar, play basketball, gym, keep myself fit, and go out with best friends some weeknights and weekends. More than happy to meet in Fawkner on either: my lunch break, immediately after work or weekends. I'm the best flatmate you will ever have! :)
We are a very easy going couple and clean. We are aiming to study and work during one year in Melbourne. We have been living in Gold Coast for 6 months and now we are going to move to Melbourne. We are no smoker and no party house.
We are a group of British people (mostly Scottish). We are tidy, respectful, and like to enjoy ourselves by having a few drinks now and then. We are all actively looking for full time jobs having just arrived in Australia last week.
Hi! I'm Tillie. I'm 23 and have recently moved to Melbourne to pursue a career in Communications. I'm neat and tidy, but easy-going, friendly and I like to laugh. Not a big party girl - enjoy my own space as well as chatting and hanging out (if it involves wine and good movies/TV, all the better). I love music, good food and have a penchant for the 90s. I don't smoke, no food/animal allergies and I'm definitely cool with pets. I come vehicle-less. I own bedroom furniture and a few other household items (some kitchenware etc.) but would be looking for a place with living room furniture/whitegoods. In summation, if you like wine and average puns, I'm your (house)mate.
Looking for a vegan household/team-up. Not because I don't associate with non-vegans but because the smell of meat cooking now makes me feel sick! I work full-time for city of boroondara, in infrastructure. Have been there two years and recently promoted, so work situation is rock solid. I'm into music, photography, art, hockey, travel. Used to living in a team of three. Don't have any pets or kids, no smokes/drugs, social drinker. From Melbourne and have always lived here. Like everyone, I like/need my solo time, but I also like a semi-regular chat/hangout with the roomies! Considerate to the needs of others, clean up after myself, can take constructive criticism and not be offended! Would love to find a couple of friendly people that I could be mates with & go out for a drink or gig here & there.
There is this majestic 24-year-old looking for a room for rent with some other incredible people/person in Melbourne’s inner east. This adventurous and well-travelled man is passionate about photography, arts and the body which has been his mode of education as well. Enjoys being social and sharing experiences through stories, music, environments and food. He is comforted by the ocean and ideally surrounding areas of St Kilda, Elwood, Ripponlea, Balaclava, Prahran, South Yarra and Windsor. A move in date is quite flexible and so is his long term of stay. He values and respects living with people and creatures of all types and sizes although those with more creative traits would be a bonus to flow ideas back and forth. Clean and crisp, everything has a place and I keep things tidy to use the space we have. Try him out in Spanish to see how much he speaks and can learn. You can call him Af. If you are interested in anything further, I suggest you send him a message soon!
We are three norwegian girls who are moving to Melbourne in january. All of us are going to study at RMIT University, so we would like to live somewhere we easily can get ourselves to the university. We are nice, outgoing and tidy girls, who loves to be social. We can like everything from a movie night at home, to going out for a party. We really want to explore the city while we live here. Some of us might get a part-time job later in the semester. We are hoping for an accommodation that is already furnished, but we are open for unfurnished options as well.
I work as a Microbiologist (it pays the bills but I actually studied Environmental Science) I work in Pharmaceutical manufacturing for CSL. I enjoy wine, cured meats, can cook and like living in a clean and tidy home. I’m always up for chats. When I'm not working I like do go to cocktail bars and pubs to discuss solving the world’s problems with friends. I'm an avid surfer and triple R listener.
Hi guys! I'm from Spain and Im in Melbourne to do some studies and work here. I am studying to improve my English. Hello, I am a 27 y/o police officer and am looking for a place to stay in Melbourne for the time that I am vacationing there. Either one bedroom for myself or two bedrooms for my friend and I. I'll arrive on the 28th of December and plan on staying either until the 20th of Febuary or prolonged until the 20th of March. My friend, who is staying for a year, is already in Melbourne so she can come inspect a room without a problem. Mostly, I plan on traveling around and taking drum/art classes. Neither of which I'll practice in your home, no worries :) If I can find a place in the center of Melbourne or around Southbank or Saint Kilda I think that would be awesome and preferred!
Looking for a flat in the first week of January!! Very easy going. Clean and tidy. Love to cook with other people/shared flat meals etc. Will be on exchange to complete my final university year from New Zealand, plus working a few days a week (and travelling with work a fair bit). Love to get out and about to explore new cities! Looking to settle in Melbourne long term, and wanting a decent length (12 month) contract.
I’m from Newcastle, England. I’ve been in Australia for 8 weeks, travelled the East coast and now I’m ready to settle in Melbourne for the next few months. I also have a job as a cook and my interests involve going out for a drink, going to the cinema, going to the gym and football (soccer).
I’ve shared houses with people for the past 3-4 years (while studying in the UK and traveling across Europe) and have always been called the mom of the house, which, I’ve been told, is something to be rather proud of than embarrassed ;) I’m organized and tidy, I very much like to cook, and sharing meals with flatmates is one of my favorite things to do. I’m social and I love spending time with people, but it’s also important to me for everyone to be able to rest in the house — my preference is quiet and relaxed houses with an occasional party, rather than party houses with an occasional quiet day. If you’re like that, too, get in touch! :)
Hi there! I am Ivo (25 y/o) and I am looking for something together with my girlfriend Dorris (23 y). We are looking for a place to stay for 2 to 3 months somewhere central in Melbourne. We are looking for something asap and are able to have a viewing and move in within one day. It is now the 13th of Dec as a write this and we started looking yesterday evening. We look for preferably a furnished room but unfurnished is fine if the rest of the house is furnished ;). We are a chill and relaxed couple and we like to hang out with others and have a drink, however we came here in Melbourne to also do some work so we would like to be able to sleep at normal hours during weekdays ;). Furthermore, we are Dutch and have a working holiday visa, we already love the surfing culture here! I've recently graduated my masters in marketing and Dorris has yet to finish her masters in supply changing management. Please contact us if you think you have something we might like! Or if you have any further questions please feel free to ask. Hope to hear from you! Cheers, Ivo & Dorris
I am 21, born/raised in NZ and will be moving to Melbourne to start full time work in the city center at an accounting firm (March 2018). I'm a friendly, clean, reliable and chill gal that enjoys hiking, cooking/baking, and a cheeky glass of wine (or two) at the end of the week. I have just graduated from Uni and am a vegetarian - but chill/allgood with meat-eaters! Looking to move into a place about mid-March. Looking forward to hearing from you - cheers!
