My name's Grace and I'm looking to move to Melbourne in the next few weeks. I'll be starting at RMIT (BA Photography) next year but until then, I don't mind living a bit further out of the city, while I work. I love music, poetry, writing, am studying online currently and am a pretty keen cook and am pretty introverted and quiet. That being said, I'd ideally love to live with people I can call friends and hang out with. I'm tidy, quiet, clean and all of that jazz- used to living with other people and taking care of a home. Also, I have a cat I can bring if you're up for it but that's optional. What I'm looking for: housemates I can call friends; people who are LGBT+ accepting (I'm gay), a house to call a home. That's all from me!
We are both going to Melbourne to study and are looking for accomdation. We are very clean and respectful. I am going to study dancing at the Ministry of Dance and Saki is going to Beauty school. Hope to hear from you!
Hi mates, We're looking for a private room in a flat-share or house-share from the beginning of September for at least 6 months (Carlton / Fitzroy) Jason is working as a bricklayer and I am a student working part time as a French teacher. We're working most of the time, easy going, clean, friendly and quiet even though we enjoy having a drink and sharing a good meal on the weekends. Let us know if you'd like more information about us and if you'd like to catch up! Cheers :-) Jason and cecile
Hello, we are Florence and Nicolas, a couple from Paris, both fluent in English. We are coming in Melbourne to find a job. I am working as an event manager and Nicolas is a web developer. One of the most important thing to us is that our future place is clean, we are looking for a real home, and we both enjoy going out sometimes but also quiet. Nicolas is a swimmer and I like yoga. We both like to cook.
My name is Adrienne, and I will be living in Melbourne from August 16-October 30. I am Canadian, and pursuing a master's degree in Environmental Governance in southwest Germany. As part of my master's, I am doing an internship with the City of Melbourne and a researcher at the CSIRO on the city's urban sustainability. I have lived in shared flats for six years and have plenty of experience being a respectful, clean, and good flatmate. I really enjoy communal living! I like to be able to share dinner or a drink with my flatmates in the evenings after a day of work. I will be working roughly a 9-5 schedule, but it will be my first time in Melbourne (or anywhere in Australia, for that matter!) so I'd like to spend my evenings and weekends exploring as a tourist too. It would be great to live with flatmates who know the city well enough to give me tips :) If that appeals to you, I would love to chat with you more!
Georgie: I'm studying at RMIT full-time doing mechanical engineering. I've just started working casually. I'm never really to sure how to describe myself. I like to think that I'm easy to get along with. Since I'm still new to melbourne (moved over from perth a month ago) I'm still trying to establish myself here. I'm pretty laid back, like to keep things relaxed although I like going out over the weekend. I have a 9 week old black lab named Apollo, I haven't been able to pick her up yet since I'm still trying to break my current lease.
Work full time in the city on an IT helpdesk. Easy going guy who cleans up after himself.. Not a party animal, but I do enjoy a few drinks at the end of the work week and enjoy going out. Gaming takes up most of my spare time and is my biggest hobby, along with reading and watching movies/TV series'.
I am an IT Graduate, I am relocating to Melbourne By 12th of July to find a job and to study in RMIT, I am looking for an ensuite with car park. I am easy going and I am not party animal. Most of the time you find me in my room, I would like to socialise and watch TV series and Playing Fifa.
Looking for a new place to stay starting around mid-august. About me: French Canadian law student from McGill Uni. I’m responsible, organized, and respectful of people’s space. Having been a counsellor for a while, I don’t shy away from real talks and good connections. I also like to go out and dance from time to time. I have already settled into a social life here, so you don't have to take care of me, while I'm obviously interested in the house life! Oh, and I like biking and volleyball. Kind of household: I am quite sociable and I hope to spend some time with my new roommates. However, I kinda like/need my sleep and privacy, so I don’t think a busy or party house would be the best fit. Animals = sure. People around my age = yas. Quick witted spirits = damn right. Gardening extraordinaires = yes please. Hit me up!
Hiya! I'm currently living in a share house of 6 in Camberwell and I'm looking to downgrade back down to a smaller amount of humans and to Brunswick/Carlton area as that's where my family and friends live and where I grew up, as well as its closer to work as I do work in the CBD. I'm interested in staying long term and would love to find a place to call home. I have been looking at 2/3 bedroom houses around Brunswick area and would love to find someone/s to join me! I'm a bartender currently working 3 jobs in the live music industry. I don't currently study, so I work mostly every day, usually night time so I'm around for the morning/arvo just chilling watching tv, reading or listening to music. I'm a huge music fan as I've previously studied music, play music and work in live entertainment venues, so I'm always up for a singalong and a debate about the latest tunes going around. Huge food lover, however not the best cook, but pasta is my specialty so don't underestimate me. I'm quite clean and love cleaning, which is a weird but handy quirk. It's quite therapeutic. I also don't mind a few cheeky drinks and am LGBT/Vegan friendly. So please, hit me up if you feel like joining me in my quest to conquer the north
Hello, I'm Lily and am about to take on a new career in Melbourne this October. I'm relocating from the Gold Coast and am searching for a room close driving distance to the airport. I'm a really happy, bubbly person who is always keen to socialise and make new friends. I'm a very clean, tidy, quiet and considerate room mate 😀 I'm looking for some lovely people to live with who are laid back and friendly to be around. I will be really busy working and undertaking extensive training at my new job so will be away a lot and when at home will be mostly laying low. I'm not able to to relocate until around late September/October but am a little flexible with dates (I'm overseas until sept 21st) . I'm expecting to stay in Melbourne long term🙂
My fur baby and I are looking for a new place to call home. I work full time in a cafe and enjoy going to the gym. My cat, Lazuli, is a Ragdoll, and is just over a year old. I'm very clean, reliable and considerate of others. I'm very much a homebody when I have the free time and usually opt for an early night. My home is my sanctuary and I very rarely have others over. I'm looking for a home that is warm and peaceful, where I know Lazuli will be safe during the days I'm at work.
Hi! I'm Maciej from Berlin, where I am about to finish my MSc studies. I'm coming to Melbourne on the 1st of November as I obtained my skilled graduate visa - I'm gonna take this chance to work and live in Australia for 1,5 year at least :) Currently, I'm finishing my MSc thesis. From August, I will be working at the University as a computational BIM analyst for two months (I'm a structural engineer BTW), and I'm starting to make arrangements for Australia (a job and a room)! I am a normal guy to live with, I don't make any problems, and always try to create a positive atmosphere. Besides, I like dancing salsa, playing the guitar and piano, and programming.
I'm a 40 year old Kiwi - just relocated to Melbourne and working full-time in the CBD. I'm clean, tidy and sociable. Cat and dog friendly. Looking for a furnished room (i.e. a bed) - somewhere close to city, or at least close to tram lines. I'm totally house-trained and respectful of all people and their space.
Hey! My name's Nick. I'm from Melbourne and I work full time at the lovely establishment known as McDonald's. I'm easy and fun. I love skateboarding, drawing and if you want to find me anywhere it'll probably be at the gym. I'm fairly quiet around the house and often go out. I can keep a place clean and stay out of your hair if you want it. Contact me :)
