I’m 23 and I work in the Film and TV industry. I’m going to be a world famous movie Director one day but until then I’m just working and making shorts & music videos. When I’m not doing that I’ll be cooking, drinking with friends, watching movies and TV, and going out for coffee and brunch. I’m from Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains, NSW, I studied and worked in Canberra for 4 years, then I worked and traveled in Europe last year. Now I'm moving to Melbourne for work and play and I need a new home! Back in Uni, I was a Senior Residential Support Officer (RA) for two years, so I getting along with people I live with used to be my job. Since then I rented an apartment for a year with one of my best friends and we got along famously. I’d like to live with people who are as sociable as I am. Having your own space should be something you can share with new friends and old, so I want to be able to invite over friends and hang out together. My interests are: - Going on adventures and taking photographs. - Film, TV and Movies. - I love music and making playlists. - Coffee, Brunch, Beer and Kebabs. - Spicy Memes and YouTube videos. - Cooking for others and drinking as a group. - I do Movember every year. My lifestyle choices are: - I like to have a good sleep cycle, eat well and I’ve started taking cold showers and exercising in the mornings. - I’m an anti-smoker and I believe in hugs not drugs, but I don’t hold it against people. - I like to keep a clean house, a clean room, and a clean body. - I’m currently single and looking to meet someone. - I’m trying to save money this year for either my next travels or my first feature film. If you are interested in having me over for an inspection or meeting me for a team up, please send me a message or call me any time. I’m really open and I'm looking to meet new people, and make new friends, so I’m always down for a good coffee or a cold beer.
HEY! I'm Matty, currently living in Fitzroy and looking for some genuine people to live with. Clean, friendly and funny and not half bad at cooking if I do say so myself. Looking to share with some friendly guys or gals so if you're interested hit me up Cheers.
Hi, my name is Alyssa. I am a friendly, respectful and clean house mate. I love to socialise but can't go past a lovely night in with cheese and wine. I work full time as a festival organiser so I love my quiet time when I get home during the week.
Hi, I'm Adarsh, I'm 26 and work full-time (Mon-Fri, 9-5) as a Software Developer at a company situated in Blackburn. After work on weekdays, I tend to either chill (listen to music/watch a tv show/read a book), work on my side project or work out at a nearby gym. During the weekends, relaxing is my top priority but I also socialise with my friends, and go for my regular dancing classes. If you are looking for your future housemate to be up for a friendly chat, not pry on your affairs, have a laugh with and have a good taste in music, I'm your guy :D
I work as a volunteer coordinator, study at RMIT, do a radio book club for lesbians and like watching scary movies, drinking tea and hanging out with my excessively handsome old cat Sebastian. I'm an experienced sharehouser and ideally looking for a household where everyone likes spending time together. Intersectional feminist, antifascist, queer as hell and vegan (happy to live with meat eaters)!
We are Alex and Corinna, we met each other backpacking in New Zealand and we are a couple who is doing a Working Holiday in Australia. I'm a web designer from Chile and Corinna is a pastry chef from Germany. We are clean and easy going and like hanging out with friends.
Hi there, I am very new to Melbourne, I have been here a week, I have found full time employment in my industry of construction abseiling. I am originally from NZ but have lived all over australia over the last 7 years. Love meeting new people and enjoying my surroundings.
Heyy Guys! Just currently moving from hobart and looking for a place in Melbourne. Im down to earth, very clean, laid back and a fun guy to hang with. Im also up for a team up with someone.
Just like the others who have come before me, I'm a Kiwi making the move across the ditch to set up shop in Melbourne. I'm starting a PhD at Monash University - and while I do love science and research, I'm also a fun loving person who enjoys a few wines and a good boogie. I'd never turn down the offer to binge watch Netflix and eat tasty Chinese food, but I'll also destress by cleaning and vacuuming the entire house. I'm looking to meet new like minded people who can help me make Melbourne home! Any other questions, just ask! :)
Hello reader My name is Hélène and I just arrived in Melbourne the 18th of April. I am fashion designer who's decided to start over in Australia I am french but I speaking fluently english because I lived in London for two years. I am quit lay back , open minded, relaxed but also super respectful! I'd liked to find a place where i can actually hang with my flatmates (drinks, diner, movies, party) rather than just cross each other path in the corridor once in while. However I also like my personal time and respect others. Don't hesitate to contact me! Hélène
Originally from Perth WA and moved over to Melbourne 3 years ago after completing uni. I am 26 and work full time in Richmond in sales. I have an RDO on Tuesdays and Sundays. I am a lover of red wine, snacks and track pants. I guess this time I am looking for more apartment living as I am currently in a house in Kew with a lease about to end and feel like a change.
From the UK originally, lived here 7+ years. Looking to start a lease on a house with one other person. Pretty keen to get a cat :) I work Monday to Friday, enjoy chilling in the evenings, producing music, hanging out down the pub. On weekends I often DJ around bars in Melbourne. I love Hawaiian pizza...sorry if that's a problem. If you're interested, let's catch up for a drink!
Hi! My name's Lotus; I am currently studying and I like to bake, garden and read fantasy novels. I'm quiet and clean, and really dedicated to making a house feel cozy and welcoming. I am looking for a pet-friendly place (or a place with pets already) that is no more than an half an hour commute from the University of Melbourne shared by friendly people with mutual interests and good taste in cider.
Hey I'm Pim, I'm currently looking to move into a two bedroom apartment closer to they city. I'm not too bothered about the suburb as long as it's close to Fitzroy where I I work full-time Monday - Friday. I am also looking for a place with a car spot or at least on street parking/permit. I am looking for someone who is quite independent but doesn't mind a few catch ups throughout the week. Because of the type of job I do, I often come home exhausted so I am looking for someone who is quiet and chilled on weeknights but happy to socialise on the weekends if they'd like. Anyways I look forward to hearing from you. Pim
I'm a 27 year old health professional and work full time. I'm very easy going and looking for a relaxed and social house. I like to keep active and stay pretty low key during the week and like to get out at weekends. I love travel (recently returned from living in the UK), play netball and watching a good TV series.
Hey, I'm looking for somewhere to call home for the next 4-5 weeks. I work full time in city, so would prefer somewhere central. I enjoy keeping fit, I love food and the occasional glass of wine. I'm honest and reliable and fully house trained :)
A bit about me. I work full time in media and my job often keeps me working late or at events on school nights. When I am at home you’ll find me binging on Netflix and fawning over cats on the Internet. When not at home you’ll find me petting other people’s dogs at new bars/cafes/restaurants or checking out live music at a gig/festival. A bit more about me. I’m trying (and failing) at getting fit. I love breakfast at any time apart from breakfast time. I enjoy cooking…but I’m pretty great at eating out/ordering in. I think cheese is a dinner food. I have terrible taste in movies. I have an excellent costume collection and am always willing to share. I see housemates as good mates and want to meet your friends too, but am happy for us to have our own space. I might not be at home a huge amount, but when I am I make up for it by always having cold beer (or wine) in the fridge, loving a good chat, being keen for family dinner cook-ups, hungover Sunday Netflix binges, mid-week bevs (or 6), enjoying a weekend cleaning session and always paying rent/bills on time. I also have heaps of furniture + kitchen things. I’m flexible with my moving dates, but am keen to be out some time in May/June. I'm looking for a room in a great place or to team up with people and start our own. I come with pretty much a 2 bedroom place full of things, but am open to popping a bit in storage.
Hi I'm Olivia, I'm originally from London and moved to Melbourne at the end of March 2017 in order to flee the impending fall out of Brexit! I'm here on a Working Holiday visa and back in London I worked in project management in local charities. I've only been here a short while but so far everyone I've met has been lovely, so hopefully I can find some lovely people/ person to live with too! I'm a bit of a bookworm and a writer, but also enjoy drinks with friends, scoping out good food, coffee, Marvel films, live music, and anything artsy that I don't fully understand. Oh and sarcasm, I never leave home without it. I'm currently way out in Cranbourne whilst I look for work in the city, so I'm hoping to find a place to move to by 1st May, ideally a place without pets!
I'm a professional in my late twenties. Both my housemates recently found their dream gigs overseas, so looking for a new pad with some all-round great people. Very relaxed and easy to get along with. Enjoy listening to music and staying active with tennis and gym. Love a good chat or grabbing a bite/drink together every now and then, but also respectful of space and privacy.
Hi, currently living in Brisbane and looking to relocate to Melbourne CBD area, no exact date as of yet but aiming for end of June/ July possibly sooner if I find something suitable. Would be awesome to find a furnished room to get me started but happy either way for the right place. I am an honest easy going person, I enjoy a very active outdoor lifestyle on my weekends. Currently working full time as a dental assistant in brisbane city. I am respectful of other peoples space and I like to keep to myself most of the time. But in saying that I'm a very open and friendly person.
Hello,I am Sky,looking for a room close to tram or train station to Brunswick. I work fulltime 9 to 5,friendly and considerate for every flatmates as we share the home sweet home together. Would love to find a comfortable home where after one day work or study we can relax and enjoy life itself!
