My wife and I are all quiet and kine persons. We keep everything tidy and clean. I am an IT professional and my wife is a Doctor candidate. We want a room with owned bathroom. Near Royal Melbourne Women's Hospital. Thanks in advance.
My name is Leigh, male, and I'm a spritely 36 years old. I've been sharehousing since my early twenties so I'm well and truly house broken. I like to think I'm pretty easy to live with, I do my share of housework, clean up after myself and cause no drama. I just landed my dream job at the Peter Maccallum Cancer Centre as a clinical study coordinator so I'm looking to live nearby. And no, I don't wear a lab coat or experiment on animals... any more. I keep it pretty low key during the week when I go to the gym but on the weekend love catching some live music, scuba diving and wakeboarding. Ideally I'm looking to live in a lively area with people who are like minded; holders of a SCUBA licence a big bonus! P.S. Sorry about the photo, it's the most recent one of me I could find and I just happen to be pulling a face.
I'm a 22 year old female who is moving from Perth to Melbourne for work. I have lived in Perth my whole life and can't wait to explore a new city. I love to have a laugh and go out to explore great places to eat brunch, lunch or dinner. I'm very considerate about cleanliness especially in a shared area and am looking for at least one other female in a share house who will enjoy having a chat or even going out to explore night life with me every once in a while!
Im working full-time, so besides the weekends, Ill be outta the place from 8 to 6. Clean and tidy and have an AirBnB profile with reviews. Open-minded and somewhere between an introvert and extrovert. Depending on suburb max budget can be adjusted.
LOOKING FOR A PRIVATE ROOM SURROUNDING SWINBURNE UNI @ HAWTHORNE :) My name is Ava, 23 years old. I'm very easy going young professional, tidy, quiet and pay rent ON TIME. I'm looking for a new private room (LONG TERM 2 years) where is surrounding with Swinburne uni or Hawthorne.
Heya! I'm Eliza, I'm 20 and currently looking for other like minded people to move in the Hawthorn area with. I come from rural Vic and previously lived in Geelong for study. However, I've had a change of heart and worked up the courage to transfer and pursue my love of animals, because why not? Besides studying Science with an Animal Biology major at Deakin, I like exploring the city and surroundings, reading and having the occasional boogy on the dancefloor come the weekend. My other interests include history (monarchies, mythology etc), binging shows/movies, music and games like Fallout. I'm pretty social and love a good chat, but definitely respect personal space. I clean up after myself, nor do I smoke. If you're at all interested I do have another friend I intend to move in with, she's 20 too and we're both looking for two other girls around our age to move in with. Hope to hear from you all soon!
Hello, I'm an international student from Nairobi, Kenya. Ethically, I am South Asian and Arab. I am going to move to Melbourne to student a Bachelor in Design (Architecture) as a first year at University of Melbourne. I am easy going, quiet (at first) and tidy - I don't mind sharing out the responsibilities in a shared house. I enjoy some nights out, or days out, and sometimes like to stay in. I enjoy having a laugh and respect everyone's privacy. I would like to live with other students (preferably first year), and would also like to live in an ensuite room. Thank you.
I am a 23 year old who works full time in the city. I will be out most of the day, and I like to keep it quiet during the week. On the weekends I go out, for brunches, dinners or a night out but I do enjoy a quiet weekend now and then. I am a tidy, respectful and easygoing person who you can share a meal or drink with now and then. I will also respect your personal space and privacy. I like to cook and clean, and to keep a tidy place.
My name is Natacha! You can call me, Tacha(: I'm a full-time international student. I've been living in Melbourne for almost 2 years now. I was born and raised in Canada. Ethnically, I am Thai-Indonesian-Chinese. I love watching movies and having a nice conversations with some good wine. I can't go a day without coffee! And if you have animals, it's no problem at all; I love them. I'm very open-minded and respectful of my environment. I clean up after myself. I'm looking for some friendly roommates to stay with for the rest of my study in Melbourne. I'm a very organized and responsible person. I prefer to stay in a household of girls.
Hi, I am a 27-year old female who moves from Germany to Melbourne to study Naturopathy. My Uni is in Elizabeth St so I would like to look for something close by. I am a qualified yoga instructor as well as fitness instructor and an almost qualified Health Coach. I love cooking (healthy), being active enjoying the sunshine and I love spending my time with friends, to talk, laugh, watch movies instead of going out partying.
We are Kirstin and Eric and are both from London, United Kingdom. We are both 27 years old and looking for a room in a shared house in Melbourne. We are new to the area and looking for a place that feels homely. We are searching for a double bedroom anywhere in Melbourne which is preferably fully or part-furnished and we are available to move in as soon as possible. We are a clean, tidy and friendly couple with references from previous landlords. I work in social care, Eric is a warehouse manager and we've lived in shared houses before. Thank you for reading this and please contact us if you have any questions. Kirstin & Eric
May be this would help: During the week I am busy working and gym. Weekends combination of UBER driving, surfing and I have a podcast. I am someone who prefers reading a good book or listening to a podcast as opposed to watching TV.
I work full time at Rebel sport so come with discount availability....:) I enjoy cycling and snowboarding, also I like my golf. I make my own beer and enjoy cooking for others as I am a retired chef. I tend to like to keep to myself, but warning I am a mad Tigers supporter....:)
Hi! I will be moving to Melbourne soon to start a full time job. I'm a reasonably neat person with terribly average cooking skills! I'm pretty easy going and love to try new things. Would love to find a friendly household with some flatmates who can help me settle in to Melbourne, and who are happy to share a meal and a drink. I've put down to stay 4 months but am definitely open to a longer stay. Also a bit flexible with move in date :)
Hi, I'm looking for nice flatmates rather than a fancy place. Just sharing the bills is not what I'm looking for. Having a beer or eat together from time to time would be nice. I'm 32 and open to share a flat with people from all ages. I'm a clean, considerate person and hope you're as well. I'm easy going, like sports, and doing outdoor trips to beaches, waterfalls... I have a car, so free parking on street or on side would be good. I'm working 4 days a week in the CBD and study part-time. Thus I need a desk in my room or another place to study. Would be great to find some cool flatmates or team up with you! Cheers, Franz ps: German, in Australia since 2015, new to Melbourne, like BBQ, football and bad jokes ;)
We're both soon-to-be film students at RMIT and come from a theatre background - we love all things music and performance related. Sean loves to play guitar and video games in his spare time, whilst I enjoy cooking, reading and watching films. We both like to be active and would also love the occasional housemate tea! We're clean, tidy and respectful people and are looking for an already-established house share as this will be our first time living in Melbourne :)
Hey, I'm Bronte. I'm 19, almost 20. I'll be studying Primary School Teaching at Swinburne. I'm currently in Darwin saving up money for Uni life. But I move down on the 24th of Feb! I'm happy to pay for the weeks in advance that I'm not there. I like going to gigs, I'm a social butterfly. I'm neat, tidy and good at cooking.
Moving from London to Melbourne. Working as a doctor. I'm clean and like to cook. Enjoy going out but also like to stay in occasionally and watch lots of movies!
I'm Malaysian born, based in Adelaide for the past 5 years. Relocating to Melbourne late January/ early Feb for work. I'm a super friendly, easy-going kinda girl. I'm tidy and respectful of other's privacy and personal space. I'm only looking for a furnished place with off-street parking. An ensuite would be a bonus! :)
Firstly apologies for the horrendously zoomed in photo Looking to move out of home as I have landed a full time job in government this year and need to be closer in to the city! I enjoy road trips to the beach and mountains, nights out, nights in, cooking, eating out - literally anything, super easy going :) I also have my own record player and eclectic mix of records which are my pride and joy! Yours to play with if we end up living together!
Hi! I'm Ashleigh, I'm from England and currently on a working holiday visa. I'm in Tassie at the moment finishing farm work and will be arriving back in Melbourne around the 5th of February and will be looking to move in pretty much straight away. I'm looking for a place either until the 18th of March (as I'm off travelling for a month) or longer term as I plan to come back and stick around in Melbourne for a while after my travels! I'm looking for a private room in a place with friendly housemates. I'm pretty quiet at home and like my own space but also like to spend some time watching tv or eating together. I've been living in a hostel for the past 3 months so I'm used to sharing and tidying up after myself. I'm looking for somewhere close to public transport (preferably a train station) and ideally with some shops and cafes nearby or within easy reach. A yoga studio close by would also be perfect!
Hi my name is David and I'm a 25 year old Canadian who has been in Melbourne for the past 2 and a half years. I currently working full-time in property in the city and I'm also completing my masters at RMIT. I am currently in Prahran, ideally I am hoping to find somewhere already furnished, as I only own my bedroom furniture and somewhere near transport which allows me to get to work with no drama. I am looking at moving any time in the next few weeks. I am easy going and love the outdoors. Not too fussed about living in either a share house or with just one other person, preferably someone around a similar age. Own bathroom would be amazing but not essential. I love dogs (who doesn't), I'm a non-smoker and like to keep fit and healthy but also love a night out now and then.
Hey I'm Dana and I am 18 years old, will be studying Business at RMIT this year, moving down from the NSW Central Coast. Love meeting new people, coffee, playing sport like hockey and basketball and spending time with friends. Im also very neat in communal areas and can cook more than Vegemite on toast.
I'm easygoing, conscientious, responsible and sociable. I will be moving interstate from Sydney to study at the University of Melbourne in 2017, and will be working part-time and be fully financially reliant on my parents- so paying rent on time will not be an issue. Looking forward to find a roommate I can get along with.
2 guys from England looking to stay in Melbourne for 2 months (possibly longer) during our working holiday after travelling SEAsia. Lovers of sport and have been keen to check out Oz for years now. Looking to work in cocktail bars during our stay and will be nice to live in an area for a little while and gain some decent mates too! Very clean and tidy people looking for a chilled place rather than a party house, around $200 each. Both love to cook and are more than happy for group dinners of an evening. If anyone fancies teaming up to get a better place for five or so then give us a shout! Will be nice to find somewhere close to town and a gym wouldn't go a miss.
We are both clean, tidy, responsible, respectful of others and their belongings, we are aware of peoples own space and can keep to ourselves although more than happy to socialize, we are a friendly and outgoing couple
Watcher of movies. Player of piano. Tidy. Capable cook. I'm from Perth moving over to study at the University of Melbourne, so I would like somewhere within range of uni. I'll be doing full-time postgrad, which means a) I'm on a student budget, and conservative with bills etc. b) Although I'm generally friendly, I will probably have my head in a book a lot of the time and would like somewhere quiet. But I definitely enjoy the occasional night out, night in, or weekend activity - particularly movies, games, or outdoor things like hiking.
Hey guys. My name is Brad. I am a 23 year old Kiwi working Monday to Friday am doing sign writing. I enjoy keeping busy by doing art, going to the gym, going out for dinner or a beer etc. I don't mind a good night out but i am just as happy to stay home and chill out. Reliable which means i will always pay rent and bills on time. I like to keep clean and tidy so i will always pitch in to clean the place So if you think you have a place for me please get at me! Cheers
I'm a clean freak, neat and tidy. I'm a landscaper from Geelong who has just acquired work in Melbourne who is looking for something short stay until I find my feet. I enjoy most sports, I play Aussies Rules, and love the gym!
Hey there! My name is Sham, I'm 22 years old and from Adelaide. I've been accepted to study at Monash University in 2017 and so I'm making the move over to Melbourne! I consider myself a people person and love to spend time with others, a lot of my spare time is spent over good food and drinks with my family and friends. I'm easy to get along with and am very trustworthy and reliable. I'd love to move in with flatmates who enjoy hanging out while also respecting each other's personal space. I'd be more than happy to tell you a little bit more about myself so feel free to get in touch! Hope to hear from you soon :)
Hi there lovely people! TL;DR: I'm reliable, responsible, and looking for a place to call home. Clarence here. *waves* I’m currently a second year degree student studying communication design (graphic design, really) at RMIT. I work part time in the city at a photography equipment hire company so that helps me with my rent. (: A 29yo, responsible, easy-going, sociable person who has a good sense of humour; likes the random joke; cooks every now and then (not a great cook but I try, also I’m a student, so it's cheaper, right?); watch way too much TV shows than I should (Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Brooklyn Nine-nine, etc.); enjoys the occasional drink (I’m a light drinker/asian flush); not big on parties (you can host your own if you want, I don't mind); loves to cycle (cheaper than getting fines from tram hopping); would love a chat at the end of the day yet am respectful of your personal space and a problem solver (not that you would have any, but that's a good to know); loves coffee (and a secret tea drinker). A nice person to hang around with (or at least no one has told me otherwise). For the rest of my time, I like to keep myself active by going for bicycle rides, runs and cafe hopping (not necessary in that order). I love photography and all things creative. My main mode of transport is by bicycle which takes me to most places. Oh, and I am tidy, non-smoker, and dislike leaving mess about the house and am very respectful of your personal space and belongings. A clean as I go kind of person. So don't you worry. Currently out of town and will be back in the first week of Feb. Feel free to chat/text me If I fit the profile you're looking for. Hear from you soon. Have a good one! :D
Hi, im respectful, honest, clean and easygoing person. Iv lived in many shared houses before so i know how all this works. Im a social person but also love my own space, rent and bills will always be paid on time, im a clean and tidy person so there wont be any problems with mess lol if u wanna know more feel free to ask :)
Couple looking for a place near CBD/close by suburbs. One Australian & one kiwi girl. Returning to Melbourne after travelling & living overseas for a long time. In need of some awesome housemates to welcome us back to the Melbourne lifestyle. Clean, respectful and social, keen to have a laugh with housemates.
Howdy! I'm a German/Chinese/Fijian guy who has just returned back to Melbourne after a yearish of travel. I'm a Sport Scientist by degree, however I decided I would rather be a bartender, so that's what I'm doing at the moment, as well as operating a small business and trying to get a few other projects off the ground, all while simultaneously trying to figure out the complexities of the world and the nature of things. I'm a friendly and honest person, who enjoys the company of down to earth people. Always up for a movie night, game of chess, drinks, in depth conversation and having fun.
Doing my Honours in Biomedical Science near the Alfred Hospital and so would ideally like to move nearby. I am vegan, but respect everyone's decisions when it comes to food as long as mine is also respected. I really enjoy wine and staying at home cooking, watching netflix and just generally chilling. I work on weekends and so will likely not be at home very often and will be working full time hours during the week for honours. Feel free to contact me if you have any properties available! Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I’m Ben! I’m a software developer currently living in Parkville. By day I work full time for an agency making iPhone apps, and by night I’m involved in musical theatre, both on and off the stage. In my down time you’ll usually find me playing piano (with headphones if it's a bother of course), enjoying a video game, or cooking with a wine in hand. I am tidy, friendly, and enjoy sharing the occasional wine and meal with my housemates. If you think this nerd would be a good fit for your place, please send me a message!
Hello hello, I'm a 20 year old student from Paris but moved to Melbourne two and a half years ago and love it here! I'm finishing by bachelor of commerce majoring in Marketing and Finance. I lived in college for the first two years of study but I've had enough and want to experience something else. I would describe myself as a very bubbly and happy person, I'm very social and like to go out with my friends a lot. You are welcome to join us, all of my friends love to meet new people! However I will not bring them home, I fully understand that the house is a calm place that you want to come home to after a long day. I'm very tidy myself but grew up in a messy family so I don't really care how the house looks, it's up to you. I think that I'm super easy to live with, it's very hard to get me out of my good mood. I'll have to study quite a bit since it's my last year so I'll probably be at uni during most of the daytime and I try to go to the gym four to five times a week. My New Year's resolution is to learn how to kite surf so I'll be heading to the beach at least once a week, join me if you'd like, the more the merrier! I love to binge watch Netflix with pizza and wine but generally eat quite healthy food (or at least I try) that I am happy to cook for the entire house. I'm looking for a fun household of open minded people who are keen to be friends over flatmates. Cheers for reading all of this and maybe see you soon! Alexia
I'm moving down to Melbourne from Queensland in February for my first year of university as a Bachelor of Fines Arts student. Being the aspiring artist I am, I enjoy the simple things in life things such as following various dogspotting sites, sketching real life portraits at cafes and watching 90s/80s sitcoms and films alike. Super easy to live with, I understand and respect the concept of space and believe cleaning is daily activity not a sometimes job. 10/10 friendly and would actively join any end of week catch ups.
Hi there i'm Rhiana. I just recently moved back from living abroad in London for the last two years. Am used to shared house living and I love it! Very relaxed down to earth gal and always down for a laugh and hang outs but definitely understand the need for personal space. Looking to start my new adventure in Melbourne come Feb. Will be working full time as an airline hostess, I've heard we make pretty great house mates!
Hey there, I'm 22 work full time in the financial services industry. I'm pretty tidy so no issue there. Love going out for a drink on the weekends or just catching up with friends! Would love to hear back from you. Albert.
Hi there! I'm an outgoing American, who works in a cafe full time and is planning on being in the city until December. I'm looking to live in a laid back place with a social roomie or two. I love going to the cinema, going for hikes/adventures on days off and a nice glass of wine or two! I love a good chat, but enjoy my personal space as well. Hoping to find a place by the end of Jan/ beginning of Feb! Thanks:)
Hey there! I'm an easy-going student from Seattle, USA. I'll be studying International Studies at the University of Melbourne for one semester. I'm semi-fluent in German, learning Arabic, and love to travel. I'm eager to embrace all of the culture and experiences that Melbourne has to offer, so I'm looking for new friends as well as flatmates :) While I'm studying languages and foreign policy, I'm also passionate about the arts. My Seattle weekends were reserved for live music (mostly house shows/parties) and practicing whatever visual art I'm dabbling in at that moment (primarily painting, sketching, sewing and designing clothing). I worked as a stylist at a fashion retailer, and was a DJ playing Pacific Northwest independent rock for the University radio station. I also used to volunteer at an after-school program to help educate children of refugees and immigrants in south Seattle. I'm a very social and tidy housemate and respect shared spaces. I love to cook and bake as well, so all flatmates can look forward to sharing any treats I whip up! I'm very outgoing and can get along with most anyone, but value my alone-time to recharge. So, if people want to have a conversation, I'm here to talk, but I can completely understand those who need time to themselves. I cannot wait to start living in Melbourne and hope to have flatmates who can recommend some fun things for me to do in my first couple weeks :)
Hi there, I am a 22 year old making the move to Melbourne from the Gold Coast in order to finish my studies. Being a friendly and outgoing person I'm very excited to explore my new city and find a place to call home. Love going out with friends exploring new places and finding the best food spots around. Very much a creative person who loves reading, art and live music. Although I enjoy catching up with friends and going out every now and again would not consider myself to be a party person, especially during the semester, and would prefer if home was a quiet and relaxing environment. Clean and tidy to live with as well as being mindful and respectful of individual space, as I do love my own down time. Hopefully looking to live with someone who also wouldn't mind sharing a meal and a chat.

I like to be out with friends or in nature when I have free time. I love to cook and especially baking and happy to share goods.
