Hi, I have just moved from France to experience Australia. I am an IT professional and actively looking for a job (negotiating currently). I am searching for open-minded housemates who enjoy life. If you want to know more about me I'm happy to share a coffee with you. Cheers Dino
I'm a young woman who isn't afraid to break out the vacuume out and help around the house , will share wash duties and keep good company . I'm very respectful and not into partying so won't bring back drunk people making noise and disturbing others . Very easy to live with as long as respect is mutual :). Looking for a house near a train station preferably.
Hi, I am PhD student in Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology Program of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. I am going to spend 6 months at the Museum Victoria as part of the development of my PhD thesis from 2 August. Although I do work hard and long hours, I do it so I can enjoy my free time as well. And be sure I do like good movies.

Hi! My name is Tameka, I'm 19 years old and I will be moving from Brisbane to Melbourne in September to commence my studies at the University of Melbourne in 2018. I am a very tidy and considerate housemate that will contribute to keeping the property clean and creating a positive home environment :) I can't wait to move to a new city and I'm hoping to have great housemate/mates to share it with.
My name is Sarah i'm 34 (not an old 34) and I am looking for a new room to rent in South Yarra as our office is moving from the CBD out that way. I am easy going, have a full time job as a consultant/recruiter for hospitality, love sports (although I have been a bit slack lately) and was a chef for 17 years back home in New Zealand. My weekdays are filled with work and social sport and in the weekends I like to visit friends.
Hello! I'm currently working full time at Ray White Concierge so out of the house Monday - Friday but still always friendly and social around the home, would love to find a home like environment. Very clean and helpful around the house. Grew up on the Sunshine Coast and lived in Airlie Beach for a bit before moving to Brisbane. Aiming for any age really but would preferably looking for people around my age due to I do enjoy having a drink on the weekend and a bit of a boogie. Enjoy my own space but also the company of others. Had some bad experiences with housemates prior so would like to meet first before jumping in the deep end.
Hi ppl, I'm Oggy and I'm looking for a private room asap :D For the last two years, I've been living and studying here in Melbourne. I'm also working full time, so I'm quite organised and regular rent and bill payments will never be an issue. I'm very friendly and easygoing and I can get along with everyone - I've houseshared for the last two years and I've always had the best experiences. When Im not working or studying, I love going out to eat and hang out with friends at cafes, and when I have a break, I love to travel around Australia. I'm clean and tidy and will make sure to do my bit to keep the communal areas nice and clean. Cheers
Hiya!! We are a couple in our late 20's moving to Melbourne at the end of September from Auckland, New Zealand. We are looking for a nice room/home to rent when we first arrive. Ideally for the first 1-2 months while we find something permanent but would consider something more long term if it worked out!! We are both pretty chilled, very considerate, super clean and tidy and pay rent and bills on time. We have been to Melbourne a couple of times but are looking forward to really getting to know what Melbourne has to offer!! I (Jamie) will be starting a new job with a company in South Melbourne, working full time Mon-Fri, Thomas is a musician/producer/DJ and has a few things lined up when we first arrive but given his line of work his working hours are flexible. We are looking for more of a home vibe rather than a party flat, respectful of people's own time and privacy but do enjoy a glass of red wine and good chats from time to time!! (and we are both animal lovers if you have a furry addition). During the week we are pretty quiet with work, the gym and chilling at home. In the weekends we love going out for meals, heading to the beach and when we move exploring our new city!! Ideally it would be great to be near public transport so we can find our way around when we first arrive before we buy a car. Any questions just let us know!! Also happy to Skype/facetime to meet before we arrive! Thanks:)
Hi guys! I come with two very adorable animals! A staghound named Obi who loves daily walks and lots of cuddles, and a gorgeous kitty named Snookie who never bites or scratches - they are perfect :) I also come with a piano and other furniture that I would love to share with my housemates! I work as a teacher so paying rent won't be an issue; neither will paying bills. Always happy to have a chat but I also love to read and do other quiet activities. Not even close to being labelled a party animal, but I definitely love social outings to the movies, theatre and live music concerts. It would be fantastic if I could come and check out your place, or join with someone to lease a place. Hope to hear from you soon! Bethany
Hi Everyone! We are moving interstate from NSW and in desperate need of place to move in by early August. We prefer a space wholly for ourselves and with a parking facility. If not we wouldn't mind sharing a house or apartment with private room, but we do need space for our stuffs like a fridge, washing machine, and a TV. Both of us are working full time and willing to explore the city in the weekend. Please message us if you are looking for something similar. thanks
Hi, my name is Thea and I am a 25 year old exchange student from Sweden. I recently got to Melbourne and will be studying Childhood Education at ACU in Fitzroy until mid December. Currently I’m staying with family but looking to find my own place ASAP and preferably for the duration of my stay. I am a responsible and tidy person who would love to share a house with someone who I can have a drink with and have a laugh but I also want to have my own space where I can relax after uni and work. I will be both studying, working and exploring this amazing city so will not spend too much time at home. Best, Thea
I'm escaping the Sydney rat race and moving to Melbourne! Arrive in Melbourne on 24th July. I've got some friends in Melbourne, but looking for a house where I can make some more! I'm typically pretty busy with work, trying to get to the gym, and trying to cook healthy dinners, but always partial to a sneaky glass of wine or beer every now and then, and it would be cool if my future housemates were the same! I want to find somewhere I can call home, relax, chat about the day/life, but also respect others privacy. Oh and I can totally clean up after myself. On a weekend I'm into live music, catching up with friends, getting out in nature (are there beaches in Melbourne?!), and perhaps a beverage or two.
I'm very easy going and active. I work full time for my own business, often work late nights and Saturdays, I go out a lot with friends or go to gym/yoga, so I'm hardly ever home. Looking to live with a 1 female, who is also active, doesn't stay home all the time, but sometimes enjoys dinners and class of wine with me. I don't mind pets, love them. Someone who is also easy going and fun. Ideally looking for nice and cute furnished room with flexible lease terms. I work in Prahran, close to Chapel street, so anything that is not too far from Prahran and Chapel street is perfect. My current lease will end on the 21st of August, so looking to move in either on the 20th or 21st.
I am from Korea and I love traveling. I especially like to meet local people who live in that city. And that's why I came to Melbourne as an exchange student. I wanted to experience real Aussie life by living with them for few months. And yeah past few months here in Australia were the best days of my life. And now I am about to start a new life with working holiday visa. I like small talk and finding a good restaurants or cafes in new place. To be honest, I am not a tidy person but! at some point when I feel it's unbearable, I am the first person who clean up everything so don't worry:)
I am a Taiwanese in my mid 20's. I am fun, reliable, clean, socialized, but still respect others privacy and space. Currently, I am urgently looking for a place. Immediate move in will be fantastic! If you have any, just let me know. Everything is negotiable. Either short term such as two weeks to longer term (prefer 4,5 months) are alright
I've been in Melbourne 4 months now and am looking for a place to call home. I am currently studying full time, and work most days i'm not at uni. Tidy, clean, quiet - but enjoy socializing.
Hi, My name is Lydia, Im 18 and a visual arts student. Im currently living in Preston but my lease ends in October and I'd like to find somewhere closer to the city. I can cook and I don't mind cooking communal meals. I went to boarding school so I have experience living with other people in a shared environment. I love a nice cup of tea, chats with housemates and baking delicious treats, whilst also trying to get some artwork done as well. Id really like to find a nice share house with people similarly aged to me, enjoy arts, music and laughing about memes. Im more than happy to do chores and help out around the house. So if you've got a room in a fun and close knit share house, please consider me! :)
