I am a 27 year-old female who works as an interior designer while finishing my masters in teaching. I am really chilled and clean. I like art and culture, movies and travel. I am out quite a lot for activities such as choir rehearsals, futsal games, meeting friends and gigs. I am looking for somewhere to move in at the beginning of June but is negotiable.
Hey there! I'm John, 28, from London. I just got here 2 weeks ago, and will be here for a year, maybe a bit more. I used to work as a Beer Brewer but I'll be teaching english for a place in CBD here. I'm a happy, sociable person. Always happy to chat and have a beer or cup of tea. I want to explore more of the city so I'll say YES to almost anything! I like to go out dancing salsa, to the beach, occasional karaoke and I try to play Tennis. I lived in Chile, China and Guatemala, so I have conversational spanish, and awful Chinese :)
Hi! My name is Megah and I'll be moving to Melbourne for work in mid May (currently residing in Sydney). I'm looking for a furnished private room with a parking space (preferably off-street), somewhere within 30 minutes from CBD. I'm easy going and friendly but also respectful of others' personal spaces. For the past 7 years, I've lived in homestays, shared houses, and also on my own. So I'm used to cleaning up after myself and doing house chores. I've also lived with people from different cultures which I really enjoy. I work full time and will probably spend most of my weekends exploring Melbourne (you're welcome to join!). At home, I'm always down for movie nights and catch ups over a meal or drinks.
Hi, currently living in Brisbane and looking to relocate to Melbourne CBD area, no "exact" date as of yet but aiming for end of June/ July possibly sooner if I find something suitable. Would be awesome to find a furnished room to get me started but happy either way for the right place. I am an honest easy going person, I enjoy a very active outdoor lifestyle on my weekends. Currently working full time as a dental assistant in brisbane city. I am respectful of other peoples space and I like to keep to myself most of the time. But in saying that I'm a very open and friendly person.
Hey, I'm Kitty the little 19 year old Tasmanian who is little lost in the big city. Living over here with no family times can get a little scary without having a place to call home. I am respectful, clean and an all round happy person. I am studying full-time at Monash university and working part-time at Topshop in Chadstone. I am a very social person and love to have a boogie every now and then.
I'm a Visual/Fine Arts student transferring to a Melbourne university from the University of Western Australia, planning to start studying Semester 2, 2017. I love Melbourne's focus on art and believe it will be beneficial for me in the future. I am Singaporean-born but have lived most of my life in Australia. I love animals of all types, and drawing them, as well as being sociable and spending time with friends, whether it be video-gaming (can provide a PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch), going out, or even just sharing a meal. I'm a big pop-culture fan and do enjoy a good film occasionally. ;) I am a responsible, outgoing, tidy and clean person and am incredibly excited to begin a life in Melbourne!!
I moved here from New Zealand a year ago! I'm a creative person who spends most of my time either at work, or spending time on my hobbies. I'm social and respectful of peoples space, clean, and quiet. Currently I work as a waitress and a grocery store person. No pets, not a smoker!
I'm 26 and I work full-time in television publicity. I've been living in Melbourne for 2 years but originally from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. I work mon-fri. I would bring my own TV and bedroom furniture. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle and a good night out with friends. Love to travel whenever I can. Would really love to share with only one or two other housemates who are mindful of keeping the place clean and tidy. Ideally looking for somewhere with my own bathroom but flexible.
Looking for a room, ideally by this Sunday (30th). Will consider anywhere in fairly inner Melbourne, but prefer Prahran, Windsor, Balaclava etc area. Ideally between 150-250pw rent, can stretch slightly for a great place. As for me, I'm 21yo, work close to full time in a cafe and spend the rest of my time with friends or trying to come up with music (have headphones and all that, will not disturb) Love to cook an epic dinner once or twice a week. I'm reasonably quiet but get along really well with most people. Have been living in share houses for three years, so am very aware of how it works. Don't smoke cigarettes, don't drink much at all, but will enjoy a big night once a month or so. That's about it. If anyone feels I could be a suitable housemate, please let me know. Thanks!!
34 yrs old Italian male. Australian P.R., living and working in Melbourne since 2013. I usually work as a Pizza Chef and with future part-time study plans also. Straight, clean, easy going, open minded peaceful person, non-smoker. Enjoy my own space and respect others's space. Fine with home cleaning and house duties. I like animals and they like me. I love healthy food and beverages. Music (I've got a decent collection of Jazz and alternative music..) ,going to gigs possibly, hanging out for dinner once a week and enjoy Melbourne's food scene. I enjoy reading, swimming, walking to the beach, training outdoor, travelling when possible and relaxing at home off course . Keen to make new friends, cook and share a meal and have a vino together sometimes. Looking for a peaceful, clean and safe environment to share with like minded people, possibly a furnished room in a not crowded house. Not a party house, in a nice location well connected to the City, possibly not far from the Ocean or in a green area of Melbourne or close to that. Thank you. Cheers, Michele
Hi future flatmate! I'm Rob, I work in digital marketing and account management corporate sales growing small to medium sized businesses and start-ups and also for Energy Australia (Lucky you! I can half our power and gas bill) but...I stay in touch with my artistic roots also. I value intellect and creativity. I'm always interested in learning something new from a genuine character. Ps, I'm a Kiwi! but no I do not want a "chup"... I'm counting macros. I'm pretty easy going and balanced. I get along with people who are also. I value authenticity, communication, humor, fitness, music, and I like to network. I'm tidy and clean but not OCD by any means. I'm big on personal development with some pretty challenging goals I'm excited about in the pipeline but I'm equally as excited to hear about yours and maybe even help if you like. I have some side projects I've been working on for a few years (I'm currently on The Voice) that do occupy my attention from time to time so I only ask you don't worry where I am if I'm busy working on them but I'm just going to put it out there casually... I'm fun. I look forward to hearing from you. Robin
From the UK originally, lived here 7+ years. Looking to start a lease on a house with one other person. Pretty keen to get a cat :) I work Monday to Friday, enjoy chilling in the evenings, producing music, hanging out down the pub. On weekends I often DJ around bars in Melbourne. I love Hawaiian pizza...sorry if that's a problem. If you're interested, let's catch up for a drink!
I'm clean and respectful flat mate. Work a lot of hours so rarely home. On my days off I always up to have a good time you my flat mates. I really believe I easy to live with, just give me a chance. Thanks Matthew
I have lived in shared places a few times. I am a quiet mature person who gets on well with (almost) everyone. I am flexible, easy-going, enjoy cooking, quiet nights in, work 3 - 4 days a week locally. I have lived in St Kilda for 20 years, have local friends, a daughter + grand-daughter who live in Middle Park, play and involved at MP bowling club and enjoy morning coffees at favourite cafes
I'm a really easy going, down to earth person looking for somewhere to live while I am completing my Bach of Nursing and working as a nanny. I am a respectful housemate who understands that a balance between alone time and roommate fun is necessary for a harmonious, happy house! I would love a room in a house with some other like minded individuals who I can share a wine with from time to time and have a laugh at the end of a long day!
P/S: Will listen to your sappy stories if (unfortunately) you get dumped or talk about how random life is til 4 am Hello! I'm JJ, 21. Currently a research student at Melbourne Uni and looking to move. I am a very outgoing person and love to socialize so am always up for a drink or two (hundred) cause well, duh. During my free time I also love to hang out with some friends or do some activities together and am down for pretty much *anything*! Heck, throw me a bone I'll even play fetch with you (not literally but you get the idea). Oh Netflix can be fun too. I've lived abroad before when I was an exchange student in the US and have done a fair bit of backpacking alone so I've lived with many others from different backgrounds and cultures and would like to consider myself a pretty tolerant and respectful person. Also get along with people pretty easily. Respect all boundaries and stuff a sock in my mouth to shut me up if need be though I like to keep things less intense. Ideally I'm looking for people I can talk to and rant about how shitty my day went, not a breathing creature that moves in the house! Hit me up if you think I can be a good fit for your place and I'm sure we can get along fine! (We'll also get along if you eat ice cream in winters and cry watching Digimon ... Or can handle random Mean Girls quotes thrown at you)
Hi I am Tim. I am 21, I work full time and I am completely independent. I like doing my own thing. I have a secure job and have had so for 3 years. I am looking to move out of home and start going out on my home. I am quite social, very easy to get along with. Love the footy, and every other sport. Bit of a bookworm.
I'm a 21 year old kiwi who has been living in Melbourne for three years and am now looking to move into a sharehouse on a long-term lease. I've just finished my undergrad degree at Melbourne uni, having done a double major in French and International Politics. I'll be continuing study doing Honours at Melbourne uni this year, so, wherever I end up living, I'll be around the house a fair amount when I'm not at uni, playing sport, at band rehearsals or doing casual work shifts. I'm a pretty chilled out kind of person but also enjoy the occasional party, so I'm happy to fit in with any home vibe! I'm quite sociable and am always up for a chat, but am also respectful of personal space.
I'm a 22 year old vet nursing study currently living in northcote. I have placement once a week at the Lort Smith animal hospital and study 3 days a week. I'm a very sociable person and enjoy a good beer and chat but also my own space (I study a lot/ watch a lot of tv) I do come with pets which is always a deal breaker (1xcat called mum, 2 rats (caged) and a fish tank) let me know what ya think xx
