Hi there, I am a lawyer moving to Melbourne to start a new job. I'm open to joining an existing flatshare or teaming up to find a new place in or around the CBD. For my part I can commit to going onto a lease for at least a year. The start date is flexible in either direction. I am super easy to live with (fairly sure I have no annoying habits!) and have always got on well with flatmates. In my spare time I enjoy chatting about the news of the day, going to classical music concerts (or playing in them as a cellist), and cooking and baking. As for the boring but important stuff, I will have no difficulty with rental/bill payments and I always take responsibility for keeping the place clean and tidy.
Hi everyone im Jess. Im a 28 year old Brit hailing from Manchester. I am about to start my 2nd year working holiday visa after spending my first year in Sydney. I work in the Hr industry and moving to Melbourne mid Jan. I am really laid back with a dry sense of humour. I enjoy/need my own space and privacy and am really considerate when sharing a living space. Mostly my partying days are behind me (with the odd exception) but enjoy a eating dinner out/having bbqs/a few beers on an evening or weekend and am not a complete hermit. I like wandering around the city exploring, lazing in the sun (when its out!), movie nights and attempting to keep fit. Love animals so happy with places that have pets. I would prefer a lease 3 months minimum at the moment but would hopefully extend. Also would need a furnished room and definitely dont want to share a room. Looking forward to seeing what Melbourne has to offer :)
22 years old from New Zealand living in Melbourne for the past 6 months, easy going and like to keep my space tidy. work full time and like to go out when I can ( do enjoy a brew or two ) am respectful of other housemates and clean up after myself and enjoy a good bit of banter.
Originally from Brisbane and I recently packed everything I owned and drove to Melbourne. My interests are fashion, music and content creation. I am very easy going, interested in all types of people and low maintenance. Even though I am currently in between jobs, I am very hard working as well. Also happy to pay rent in advance.
Hi there, I'm a student from Barcelona (Spain) who will be doing an exchange for 6 months (February - July), here in Melbourne and I am searching for a place to stay. I would prefer to share a place with people who is laidback but active, happy and clean. If you think I can fit in your place, let me know!!
Dear Future Roommates! We are two Danish girls living in Aussie for the next two years. We are both very social and easy going. We will be studying our Masters in Melbourne City at La Trobe University and Swinburne University. Emilie studies Global Business Law and Kathrin studies Visual Media and Communication. We thrive when around new people and we are therefore preferably looking for a big shared house with its share of roommates. Our doors are always open and we are always up for a pint and a good banter!
I'm an Anthropology student at Deakin and I'll be graduating in May next year, then headed overaeas for summer school so I'm only looking for short term accommodation. I also work part-time at a supermarket (That means free out-of-date food, yay!). I like to be social and have a drink or two, but I'm also happy to have alone time. I study a lot and I work a lot, but I also like to go out occasionally (by no means a party animal, though). I'm respectful and tidy and I can get along with anyone. Not keen to live with kids or dogs (sorry!) and I'd like to live close to a train station on the Belgrave/Lilydale line OR the 70/75 tram. If there's anything more you'd like to know just send me a message!
Hello! I am a 23 year old Adelaide girl that has recently moved to Melbourne for a corporate finance job in the city. I am very friendly, easy-going and tidy and would love to have a room in a share house with a nice and sociable atmosphere. I am a very open minded and friendly person so I'm very easy to get along with and more than happy to share a place with a fur friend :) I love to play soccer and futsal (I will honestly try any sport that involves running around!), catching up with friends, watching the footy (might not mention what team I barrack for in case it only harms my chances here ahaha) and reading books. I am a pretty sociable person and like to go out with friends or have a nice chat on the couch with my roomies :)
Hi All! Im a friendly, easygoing 19 year old moving to Melbourne from Newcastle to become a student at SAE doing a Bachelor of Film. I'm into art, fashion, Drama, Film, music, basically anything creative :) I'm a people person, I'm tidy and well kept and I love a good chat. When I start studying I'll be at uni three days a week, and the other days I will be doing barista work or waitressing. I'm always up for fun and having few drinks every now and then, but at the same time I like my down time watching Netflix and painting or cooking. Im looking to move into a place any time from the 26th, the day I fly to Melbourne, and I'm hoping to find friendly, like minded people and a relaxed, chill environment. Thanks for taking the time to check me out! :)
I'm Andy, 31 and looking to move from Brisbane to Melbourne. I absolutely love Melbourne and have decided that I need a change in my life in a new city. I currently work full time in communications for the Qld Ambulance Service. I've also been accepted into uni to study nursing. In my spare time I love catching up with mates, heading out to dinner and drinks, movies, travel and just having a great time in general. There are other times where a quiet night in is great too. I'm looking at what is available before moving down and I'm also currently searching for job opportunities.
Hey I'm Caitlin! I'm a 26 year old female who just moved here from Sydney. I work 9-5 for one of the big four banks and I have a degree in comms. I enjoy cosy nights in and also socialising with friends at pubs/bars. I'm really into fitness and I like to stay tidy and organised. Super easy going and more happy to hang out over some wine and cheese, but also respectful over other people's personal space and lifestyles.
My name is Sharna! I am on the hunt for a 1 bedroom place within the surrounding suburbs of Coburg/Brunswick/Carlton/Fitzroy/ and anywhere in-between. I am a 27 year old health care worker with a steady role/income as a senior Dental nurse in a private clinic in Brunswick West. I have a car (but happy to apply for street parking). I have all my own furniture and basically ready to move. My budget is roughly $250pw but happy to pay up to $300 for the right place. If anyone knows of anything around please let me know! Thank you
Hello. I'm James. I'm moving to Melbourne from Brisbane starting around March 1st (though if I found the perfect place I could possibly arrive sooner.) I am transferring at my job, full-time work. I'm looking for something similar to the experience I've had in Brisbane, which is one or two roommates who are easy/enjoyable to live with, very respectful of space/tidiness and good for a chat/drink every now and then. Being new to the city, I'm hoping to find a great location. Things I love: Arts/Music, reading, gym, cooking, spontaneous adventures/exploring the city....
Hi! I am Lucie, a French 22-years-old arriving for six months in Australia. I am looking for a quiet and friendly place with nice flatmates! During my free time, I love reading, sailing (I hope I will find a great sailing club in Melbourne!), singing (finding a choir would be great too!) and cooking (I am quite famous for my chocolate cake and I would love baking it in my new home!). I am currently taking a gap year between my fourth and fifth year at the university where I study mathematics and physics. I will work Monday-Friday and I would like to discover Melbourne and Victoria during weekends! I am clean and tidy and if I like going out for a drink or two, I am definitely not a party animal! I am also quite used to live in flatshare since I have done so for a year and a half! If this sounds like the roommate you are looking for, I would be more than happy to meet you! :)
Hello I’m Laura! I’ve been offered a position in Docklands for 5 weeks and am looking for temporary accomodation! I’ll be moving from Tasmania and still paying rent at home so am on quite a strict budget. Something close to public transport is a must because I won’t have my car with me 😁 I’ll be flying home one weekend and another weekend my boyfriend would like to visit me while I’m in Melbourne as well 😊
Irish professional from Dublin waiting on a 2 year 457 visa to be finalised - will be working in finance full time in Melbourne CBD. I'm very laidback and have experience in house sharing - very clean and tidy! Into sport (keen to see Australian footy in action!) Would be good to have housemates who are up for hanging out but also do their own thing!
