Impromtu dancing and singing in your kitchen. Stories over tea. I love community and bringing people together over food/projects. I am always up for a good movie and creating music/art... I am reliable, integral and love great honest communication. I am respectful and appreciate others to also be respectful. I want my flatmates to be able to be themselves and feel comfortable in their own home. This is really important to me that everyone feels they can be themselves, share responsibility and enjoy being in each other's company. I would love to live with people similar age and that would also like to be friends :)
I am moving from New Zealand (on January 30th) to study my second degree in Fashion at RMIT. I'm looking for a sharehouse with people who are a balance of social and laid back but are proactive and considerate. Me... I have a degree in Textile Design and have been working in the Textile industry for just over a year. I am going to study fashion which is pretty much my life. I'm pretty social, chilled and creative but will also be dedicated to my study. As a bonus I'm tidy and reliable for bills on time. I have a few friends in the city so am looking for people to expand my circles with and to have causal/ occasional drinks and meals with. I look forward to joining a home and immersing myself in the city, uni and people 😊
Hi! I might be working full time (or at least trying to) but I am always up for having a good time no matter if it is a BBQ at the beach or a fun night out drinking more than my liver can handle. Some more important facts about me: - I'm danish - I do know how to clean up after myself (how amazing is that?) - I respect different lifestyles, which means that I will be quiet if someone have to leave early for work and I of course expect the same behavior in return. I've heard so many great things about living in a share house, so I can't wait to get my own "Australian" family the next four months!
Hey there, my name is Tim, I am studying rehabilitation psychology in Germany and will spend a study abroad semester at the La Trobe University. I consider myself as an open-minded and spontaneous guy. Just looking for an amazing time in Melbourne and Australia in general (for me and hopefully active fellows).
Hi there, I'm a student, aged 20, in my third year of a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne in Politics and Philosophy. I currently work full-time, and will go part-time over semester to ensure I can pay the rent! I've been living in a sharehouse for the last year and a half, and looking to move somewhere that is a bit more spacious near the city and the University. I would prefer somewhere already furnished, but I'm flexible on this point. I'm generally pretty laid back and happy to be as social or as private as my housemates prefer. Not a huge party fan and will check with housemates before inviting people over. I spend a lot of my time working or studying, but happy to kick back with a drink when I get a break. If I sound like a good fit for your house, shoot me a message. Thanks, Corey

18-year-old male from China studying full-time at the University of Melbourne. I went to high school in Queensland from 2014-2016 and speak fluent English. A clean freak who is capable of doing any type of chores including cooking. An experienced traveller who likes to share his view on almost everything. I DO NOT smoke and accept flatmates that are having a pet, and that could be a dog, a cat or even reptiles (except snake and spiders). Budget: $200-300/week Looking for a house as close as possible to Uni Melb
- full-time student - laid back/ chill - clean, organised, responsible - quiet - minds my own business - understanding - open-minded
Hey hey :) Im a friendly, easy going chick that enjoys working and living a simple life. I've got a pretty good sense of humour and tend to joke around once you get to know me. I see the positive side in the majority of things. Also having an understanding and respect of privacy as well as each individuals life style is really important. So living with a like minded person is a must. I'm currently living in Pascoe Vale and looking for a change. I do have a tv, with a cabinet that it sits on as well as a couple of bed side tables and looking to buy a new queen sized bed. So I'd prefer a room that could accommodate that furniture. (Though i can be flexible with the bed depending on the quality). I tend to keep to myself after work as I get pretty tired, though im easy to have a chat with. Im a traffic controller so I usually work big hours Monday to Friday and some weekends. Im happy to clean up after myself and keep a tidy lifestyle as well as participating with the household chores so long as its deligated between the housemates equally, I'll do my share and a good job at that! :) Having my own bathroom is preferred aswell. Im preferably looking to find a place that's got the rent and utilities included together. I've grown up being efficient with my usage, so I don't see it fair to pay for others excessive usage. I will give you peace of mind with my usage :) Also I'm a really big animal lover, so if you have any pets I'll be happy to have them around :) :) 💜 Looking forward to meeting the right housemate and answering any questions you might have :)

Hey there I'm 23, just graduated and moving across to Melbourne from Perth for full time work in banking. I'm hoping to find a room by early - mid February in a sharehouse with good vibes. I'm a friendly, easygoing and tidy gal (I like to think!), who is always up for a chat or a drink but appreciates that everyone needs their own space/privacy as well. In my spare time, you'll often find me at the beach, feasting with mates (I love to eat) or just plain chilling. Feel free to message if you think I'm what you're looking for!
Hi there, I am an outgoing and friendly girl! I am from Geelong and am looking to move to Melbourne, as I will be working full time as a nurse for St Vincent's Hospital. I am tidy and organised. I value my own personal space and respect others. I am not looking for a party house, however I do love going out and have a active social life. I am looking for a place I can call home and feel comfortable living in. I would happily enjoy catching up and enjoying a meal or a beverage with my housemate/s. I am SO in love with Melbourne and super excited to explore it, and all it has to offer. I love going out for brunch/ dinner and love good coffee. Looking forward to potentially meeting you..
I currently do banking in a contact centre based in the CBD so looking for a place that is close to the city would be ideal! When I'm not working i enjoy to go to the pub/bar, play pool, see live music, or just chill out in a park. I am a neat easy going person, love to have a laugh and some good banter and i know how to respect peoples space and things. I don't mind cooking at all and I always pick up after myself, I'm a clean person :)
Becky and I are both fun, tidy and sociable English girls that have come to Australia with working visa's to experience the Ozzy lifestyle and travel the country! We love to get dressed up for a night out, but at the same time are very comfortable having a lazy evening on the sofa with a good film and snacks! Looking for a nice place to call home for our time here in Melbourne, and would be happy to make new friends along the way!
Fresh off the plane, I've just arrived from Perth to commence work in Melbourne. I am hoping to find a room soonish. I'm looking for a place close to public transport (tram/train). I'm a health and safety professional and will generally work regular business hours Monday to Friday. I enjoy the company of housemates and like to share the odd meal. Cooking is a hobby of mine. I usually like to watch shows on Netflix as a way to wind down. Some might say I look like Glenn from The Walking Dead. I also have a PS4 with me if you're also into gaming. I'm working on getting fit, and looking to join a gym. I'm neat and tidy, and respectful of your personal space. My previous share house experiences have worked out pretty well, references are available.
Hi, I'm Emily! I'm backpacking in Melbourne and looking for a fun group pf people to live with for about 6 months. I'm very clean, can cook reasonably well, like to go out and drink but think I'm a pretty chilled and considerate housemate. Have been travelling for 18 months and want to see as much of Melbourne as possible!
Working full-time at Collingwood atm. Going to be RMIT nursing student in July 2017. I am a clean, cheerful, considerate, respectful person who cares about the privacy of others. I have been living by myself for 7 years, so I am independent and is a type that will "clean my own mess". I love dogs! I like cooking, swimming and watching movies. I am not a party animal, but a drink or chat is great. I am looking for a place where has air-con(must!), windows(must!), kitchen with oven, near tram/train station, tidy, clean, and comfortable to live. I don't mind doing housework on a schedule/roaster basis. Big plus if you have dog(s)!!

Hi Everyone! I am looking for a place to live with my adorable dog Rocko! I am studying secondary teaching at uni and I work with primary aged kids during the week. I really like getting outdoors; going rafting, rock climbing, camping, but I am also really fond of board games and chilled dinners and nights in. I'm pretty easy going, and would like to live with people who enjoy some casual hangs and chats, as well as have my own space. Rocko is only a little fella, only mid shin height, so he doesn't take up much room and is super self entertaining! He is also very good at stealing hearts. I would love to hear from you if you think we would get along, and I can contribute delicious snacks and dinners. :)
I'm a qualified hairdresser who is respectful and tidy housemate. I love gardening and indoor plants, crafts, comics, gaming, and make a great granola. I can also come with a large fridge and/or top loader if it's needed. I love going to gigs but marathoning a series is not something I'm experienced in. I'm looking for a place that's close to public transport as I have Multiple Sclerosis. Give me a bell if you are interested in me being your new housie, or want some more information.

Preferably looking for furnished rooms but it's not a problem for us if they aren't. So if you have 2 single rooms or a one that can be shared don't hesitate to contact us ;) Thank you in advance!
Hi! We are Pavi and Manon (English and French) and we are both 20yo. We are exchange students at Monash University. We have been in Melbourne since last July and we lived in halls on campus (Clayton) during our first semester here. However we would like to live closer to the city so we are looking for a place to stay near Melbourne CBD for the next coming months. We enjoy eating (a lot!) so we are always looking for new places to go and eat. We also like to cook ourselves so it would be nice to have flatmates who do too! We are also always up for a drink (or two) with our friends. We are gym buddies so we are going on a regular basis to the gym. Sometimes we also enjoy staying home with a good movies/series to watch. And finally we love travelling and exploring new places around Melbourne! We are easy-going, tidy and clean. We are looking forward to meeting you! Pavi and Manon

Hey, I'm a friendly, easy going Irish girl ideally looking for somewhere in the Fitzroy area. I work as a special Ed teacher and usually have a quiet enough week but like to socialise at the weekend. I have friends and family nearby but it would be nice to live with people that like to hang out from time to time too. I don't have or intend to get any pets, but if you do, I see that as a bonus 😄
I'm looking for accommodation in the area of the university of Melbourne for my first year of Bachelors Degree in Science. I am respectful, quiet and very friendly. I am from Adelaide, just moving out of home for university in time for the Stop 1 science orientation day. I am very knowledgeable, and could likely help out any flatmates with IT issues etc. I am also a pianist, and interested in classical music. I look forward to the opportunity to meet my new flatmates
Hi! I'm open minded and relaxed. Live and let live I say. You do you, I'll do me. I'm quite clean and a good cook when my budget allows. I've just finished a film and television degree at the VCA. The goal is to be a film maker. Most of my time is dedicated to this end. I like to keep to myself though will occasionally like to have a few friends over. I'm also not adverse to meeting and interacting with new people/ having strange people about. I've got a ferret which has made finding accommodation in the city a bit difficult. She mostly lives in her cage or my room. Her name is Lyra and she is very well behaved. She doesn't scratch walls or tear up carpet so aside from knocking over the odd glass she's quite harmless. She's also good with dogs (Knows to be wary of them) and gets on quite well with cats. She's a bit smelly but I spray her with a flowery coat deodorant to keep it under control. She sleeps about 20 hours out of the day so you normally don't even notice she's there. (We have that in common. hah!). If you have a spare and room and open to having a ferret around please message me because you are quite rare!
Im Shanelle, I do work full time, currently in hospitality. I also keep a busy schedule. Trying to get fitter during the week, i do bikram yoga and some inferno pilates, something about the heat is so addicting. i absolutely love to cook, big on fresh, healthy food. I go to the markets on weekends to stock up. I also come with a cold press juicer and blender. I obviously don't smoke. i personally love all things design, and am huge on home wears. I have a little family of plants that would come with me as well. Ive been living out of home for 2 years now and understand my financial status and can budget well. so you will not have any issues with late rent etc. Also very respectable of peoples privacy and space. Understanding i would love to have a home where everyone does get along and can be more so friends than anything else. Come the weekends, i do love a glass of vino but i defiantly do not want to be living in a party house. Because really your home is like you sanctuary! Hopefully this little blurb helps you out

Originally from the Surf Coast town of Torquay, I'm looking for a place to live in Melbourne whilst studying at Uni. I am a 4th year law student, studying at La Trobe University, Bundoora. I have plenty of experience living with flatmates as I have lived out of home for the last three years. I have just returned home from an exchange program in the United States, and am eager to continue meeting new people. I study hard during the semester, however I enjoy going out on some weekends. I play guitar, and this is the only noise that I will create. If you enjoy playing, listening or just music in general I will be the perfect housemate for you! :)
We are two brothers from Italy who are gong to start to study at the end of February. We are two easy going and friendly guys who like to chat and make new friends. We don't have any specific request and both pets and smokers are ok for us. We love sport like skating, surfing and snowboarding and we are crazy for music. In fact, we can both play guitar, even without being annoying (there are always parks to do that).
Hello, My name is Lili and I am looking for a share house or roommates to find a share house in the Northern suburbs preferably Brunswick. I am from Adelaide and moving over to Melbourne to study Fashion Design at RMIT. I am social but like my own time. I run an independent print publication (magazine) called Culture Club which takes up most of my time and I am looking for a part time job for in-between that and study. Besides working I enjoy seeing friends, exploring new places, going to art galleries and museums, painting, going to bars or restaurants etc.
Moving from Perth to Melbourne to study OT, find a job, and hopefully have some fun. Am hoping to find somewhere with enough rooms for myself and a friend or two, but also happy to go solo if I find the right place. Oh and if you have pets then I'm so excited already!
Hello, I'm a very friendly and tidy second year Arts student at the University of Melbourne, originally from Sydney. I'm looking for somewhere to live until mid/end of June this year, and would love a quiet furnished place that's within walking distance to uni. I also work and volunteer as a tutor so will be out and about quite often but happy to chat if we're in at the same time.
The name is Em I'm a very laid back gal, I work for the government, love being active & baking, very tidy and self motivated, I am a lesbian and have a partner so am at hers a lot of the time, she has 6 months left on her lease. 4 months we will have made a decision whether or not we will work during travel or look for somewhere for the two of us. I don't do drama and do enjoy my own space
Hey, I'm Anna and am looking for a room to rent while studying at the University of Melbourne. I'm in my third year studying business and law and currently work part time at a home organization store (so I know how to keep my space tidy). I like to drink coffee, pet stranger's dogs, go on adventures, and occasionally go out with friends or have a few friends over for a drink. However I am also happy to stay at home and read or watch a movie. I have only had female housemates in the past but would be happy to mix it up! I am respectful of common areas and can give others their space when they need it however I would like to find housemates that enjoy hanging out from time to time and get along well. I am American and will be moving to Melbourne from Seattle so it would be a lot easier if there was at least a bed in the room but if its the right fit I'm willing to figure out the furnishing for myself. The earliest I am available for inspections is February 8th, however I could be ready to move in right away as soon as everything is sorted out. I can be available to move anytime from the 8th to 15th of February. Please let me know if you have any questions!
We are two friends who met in student accommodation looking to move out to our own place. Looking for a share house with 2 available rooms, max rent is $250 each. We are responsible and respectful individuals who know how to balance fun and work. We enjoy cooking and watching movies as well as going for drinks but also are in third year, therefore need quiet time for studies.
My name is Jamine, in my 30's, and I am interested in meeting you to get to know you and see if we are a good fit. I am working and studying at the moment as a Gestalt psychotherapist. I am originally from France and now an Australian citizen. I have been living in Melbourne for 13 years... I like having some fun time with my flatmates, having some chat about whatever comes and some quiet time. I like the idea of being relax, real and open with my flatmates. I lived in few share-houses before so I am house-trained. :) I dearly enjoy my friends, dancing, improv theatre, board games and swimming. I don't smoke and I have no pets. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Jamine
Studying games programming at Swinburne Hawthorn. Interests include coffee, C#, semi-ironic Aussie rock from the 80s/90s and coffee. Worked full-time in software last year, now I'm back on the uni grind for one last year. With all that out of the way - why would you want to live with me? Excellent question. * I'm a pretty decent cook. If you like vego food, I make a fantastic lentil bolognese. * While I'm no neat freak, I always make an effort to keep things clean and in order. * I've got plenty saved up and I'll be working part-time, so you know I'll always pay rent on time. * I'm pretty chill and low-key, so if you're the quiet type I'm sure we'll get along just fine.
