Hello ! Laura and I are a French couple coming to Melbourne after a long road trip in Asia. We are looking for a room in a flatshare / homeshare. We are tidy and clean people and we would love to share moments / stories / drink occasionnaly with our new flat mates.
Hey guys, Naj here! I'm a 31yo who has called Brisbane my home for the last 14 years, and I have finally made it down to the cooler city, for work and to be closer to my mum and sis, who moved here a few years back! So I start working for the Victorian Government next week, and am currently staying at my mums until I find the perfect sharehouse home. I've been living in sharehouses in my beautiful West End in Brisbane for the last 7-8 years so I am very house trained. I am very clean, and consider hygiene, doing your chores and washing up after yourselves to be a number one rule of being a cool housemate. I love to chat and socialise with my housemates but I also like my own time and respect your need for some down and alone time too. I love to have good beer and wine and indulge in cooking adventures. I love to share as well and believe the more communal the house is, the more it is a home. As far as what I'm into; I love film, hiking, camping, my yoga practice and riding my bikes. Not in lycra. Just to commute and to be environmentally conscious. I'm also interested in social justice causes and trying to make our world a kinder and sustainable place to live in. (I used to have dreadlocks and did a bit of travel in my mid 20's - totally not a cliché) I also love going to gigs, having a boogie, going to festivals and plays. The abundance of all things art and creative is another reason why Melbourne has drawn me in. I also love dogs and prefer playing records to having the tv on. (and long walks on the beach. heh) I've visited this town many times over the years and I have a few friends scattered around. But I'm looking forward to joining a family sharehouse home where I can put some roots down for awhile and explore this city with local knowledge and insights and characters. That's me in a blurb form, but I would love to meet you all face to face and have a chat in person and see if we fit, and get along, and share the same values. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi all! My name is Jacky and I'm a 4th year university student at Monash University Peninsula. After 4 years of living in uni accomodation, it's time to graduate with my teaching degree in hand and look for a new place & housemates to live with! I'm originally from Hong Kong but have been based in Frankston for 4 years now. Having lived with different people of mixed genders every year has made me quite adaptable as a housemate. I'm an introvert at heart but am down for a night out and drinks every now and again. I enjoy clubbing and concerts too but if that's something you're worried about, don't be! I won't bring strangers and night-time racket home! My hobbies include but are not limited to taking nice scenic walks, reading, video games, exploring new places, taking photos, traveling, and meeting new people. Oh, I also like to throw in a corny joke from time to time. As a housemate, I am a tidy person in general. I will invite friends over sometimes but I promise we will keep noise to a minimum. I'll always be open to bonding opportunities will not hesitate to exchange some awesome banter with you, but otherwise I keep to myself in my room to get work done. I'm in the process of job hunting so my area 'preferences' are scattered everywhere at the moment. Will narrow them down more once I get calls for interviews etc. More looking for people right now~
I'm taking one year off my life as a German marketing strategist to live and work in Melbourne. I'm a free spirit but still aware of reality and responsibility. Trying not to take myself and life's challenges to seriously. I love pop music, food and deep (or dumb but fun) conversations.
I am a medical student taking a year off studies to do some research at the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre in Carlton. Very clean, easy to live with, happy to have a few drinks with the house and share food or be completely individual. Looking to move in next year sometime after a trip to the UK so keen to organise something now. Message me if you are keen to have a chat, meet up for a coffee, and organise a fun house for next year!
Hey, Jack and I are new to Melbourne, moved here from Brisbane! I'm a very social person, love to have drinks and BBQs and work at a restaurant along Southgate. Jack is a builder, so he is out pretty early, super clean and quiet. Would love to meet some new people as well as have a place to live.
We're both pretty low maintenance and can cook. Josh is working part time and getting a business degree at Chisholm and I am getting my VCE at Chisholm. We have two cats, and are pretty much lap cats.
Hey guys and gals, I'm a 22 year old artsy type looking to find a new place to call home. Currently working full time in Southbank in hotel management, my lease is ending in mid November and I'm on the search for somewhere in the north to spend this coming summer. I'm vegan, lgbti+ friendly and love nothing more than enjoying some beers in the sun or an afternoon spent browsing through local galleries (veging out with trash TV and el cheapo dumplings is also a big yes) ~At this stage I'm not looking to lease for any longer than 6 months~
I'm PhD student of the University of Melbourne. I'm honest, clean and quiet; so looking for a place which is cozy, clean with honest and nice people.
Hey everyone! My name is Faye, I'm 28 from London and I've been living in Melbourne for 10 months now, I love it here so much I never want to leave so I'm sticking around for another year! I'm working full time Mon- Fri and I also have a bar job at the weekends. I'm ideally looking for a long term lease of at least 6 months but I'm happy to agree to something shorter of 2-3 months, I'm pretty flexible. I'm fun, laid back and easy going, clean and tidy and a very considerate house mate! I enjoy hanging out with friends and I'm often out on the weekends having a few drinks but I am also very chilled during the week. I'm a sociable house mate and happy to chit chat and catch up over a nice meal but I also like to have my own space and down time now and again. I'm looking to live with someone similar to myself and someone who I can call a friend and hang out with too! I am looking for a furnished place and easy access into the CBD. Enough about me, if I see a place I like I will shoot you a message and we can talk more over a conversation!! Thanks!
Hi Back home I am a documentary television producer. I've just finished making a discovery documentary in the Yukon, Canada where I was living in the wilderness for the three months. Originally I am from London I like to be outdoors as much as possible and do a lot of hiking, rock climbing and yoga. When I'm in the city doing anything artsy and being social suits me. I'm a sociable person and would ideally live with people who are up for a natter and a bevvie in the evening , but I also like my own space so would be happy to live in a quieter household. Hope to meet you soon Flynn
