Looking for a private room to move in asap! I’m 22 from Wales, UK! Pretty new to living here in Melbourne (3months). I work full time, building up my money after a long stint in Asia and having broke my hand the night before I flew here I’m well on the road to recovery, ready to settle and get out this hostel! I want to finally get down to cooking some good food rather than surviving on the eating out meals. I enjoy going to the gym, watching films, food, music festivals, chilling out and meeting others. I’m 22 so just some of the typical stuff really.. I’m always up for a laugh, basically a sociable being, but as everyone I love my own space too.. I’m down to earth, laid back. When it comes to the important stuff I’m excellent.. I’m clean, polite and respect other people and their property! Simple!
American just moved back to Melbourne for work. I'm relaxed, people-oriented, and enjoy a quiet night in just as much as a crazy night out. 26 years old, vegetarian, enjoy keeping fit by cycling to work and playing volleyball.
I'm a recent university graduate from Byron Bay pursuing career opportunities in the city. I have respect for shared spaces and enjoy keeping things clean. I like cooking and watching movies or socialising in my time off and am generally pretty easy to get along with.
Hi, I’m a 27 year old Project Manager. I’m looking for a social housemate to have the occasional meal and wine with. I like to keep active and stay pretty low key during the week and like to socialise on the weekends. I am self sufficient, clean, tidy and pay bills on time. I also enjoy my alone time and would be respectful of yours. If you’re looking for someone easy-going and fun, I’m your girl :)
Hi i have recently moved from India to do my masters degree from Rmit university.i got temporary accommodation and now I am looking for permanent one. Hello! I've just scored a job in Melbourne which I'm really excited about! I'm a social worker and will be working 9-5 and like to keep pretty quiet during the week. I've never lived in Melbourne before but a lot of my best pals are from there so I do have my own thing going on but love making new friends over delicious food and a glass of wine (or two). I've lived with many characters in Australia and overseas and really like a respectful and clean house to live in! I love getting to know the people I'm living with over a shared meal or two but know we all need our alone time.
I am shy at first but really fun to be around after I've warmed up to you. I am clean, neat and tidy. I am working full time in a financial advisory firm and doing my postgraduate in financial planning. I love going to the gym and exploring the outdoors. My working hours are 8am-4pm Monday to Friday but i generally finish work late. I am also interested in health, fitness and wellness although i do indulge myself in good food and drinks over the weekend once in a while! I have a car, so parking is necessary. Prefers living close to public transport as I work around the CBD. Looking forward to living with respectful, clean and awesome housemates!
I'm an enthusiastic person who's keen to be a responsible flat-mate but also a fun and friendly one, too! I study part-time and work part-time. I study French and Spanish at Melbourne Uni and work as a waiter. I also volunteer at a community media organisation where I am a radio presenter on Australia's only national radio show for LGBTQIA+ youth, and I also write reviews! I try to live a fairly balanced lifestyle which includes socialising, study, exercising and just down time. I also play piano. I have a digital piano which I would like to have in my new place. I try to play a few times a week, but I am able to play with headphones in so it does not bother others. I grew up in Melbourne, and I am keen to live with like-minded people.
I’m from Thailand. I was a System Engineer for 5 years’ experience at IBM. I came to Melbourne for study IELTS/EAP to prepare for Master in the next coming year. I study in the morning and work part-time as a waitress. I'm a sociable person, keen to meet new friends as I am new in town. I consider my self easy going, neat and tidy and also down-to-earth. Openminded to learn international cultures and languages. I though I'd be your co-traveller, unless you want me to :) I like taking photograph, I probably give you pretty shots in return. I’m a sport lover. Enjoy yoga, tennis ,golf , long walk and even for outdoor activity. Can definitely have play time and catch up for a conversation during meals or my spare time. I like trying good food, good coffee and grab couple glasses of wine at bar. **PS. I'm looking for any room type in suburbs, 1 hr or less to the city by public-transport is preferable. It would be nice to have many people in house.
I am a german exchange student, here at Uni Melbourne for the last year of my master studies. Besides the studies I mainly do sports and other free-time activities (exploring this huge city). I am a relatively quite person but always trying to meet new people. The flat should be organized and stay clean if it is a shared option.
Hey :) I'm Rynette, from Papua New Guinea (although half Australian). Here in Melbourne studying a bachelor of International Relations full-time at RMIT in the city. Pretty laid back, respectful and clean. I'm 27 so not much of a partier anymore, but I'll chill at home with some music and a few red wines here and there :) I'm into music, nature - going on walks, being near the water, camping all that sort of stuff, although I don't get to do it as much as I'd like to. I'll go through phases where I'm super social, and then super not lol (think this might be lots of people?) but not in a bad way, usually just lost in a book or lost in music - headphones in a lot of the time. Either way always friendly, pretty easy to talk to. At the moment I don't work, though this won't be a problem with rent/bills. I spend most of my time at uni, or studying, or gallivanting, so I wont get in your way. I will be working part-time eventually, but at the moment my main concern is uni. I'm perpetually quitting smoking, so I may or may not be a smoker when you meet me :) Looking for a home for 6-12, depending on what works for you and whats available. Hope this suffices, but happy to tell you more if you need. Feel free to contact me. :) -Rynette
After a 4-year stint as leaseholder in an inner west Sydney townhouse, I am well share-house trained - friendly, respectful (to people and property), tidy and a good communicator. Seeking the same in my future housemates. Lover of the arts - theatre, live music, books, galleries... anything really! Working in the not-for-profit arts sector. Cheers!
I'm a Yoga Teacher with an ongoing full-time office job in CBD. I have been living in Melbourne for almost 5 years and looking for a quiet place to call home (and ideally closer to work). I'm house trained: pay rent on time, clean after myself, occasionally cook healthy meals and enjoy a drink every now and then. Planning to stay at least 3 months. My hobbies are chess, reading classic books, Yoga, watching movies. hit me up with a text and you'll get a great flatmate.
I'm a 29 year old girl from Denmark just moved to Melbourne, where I'm working within Advertising & Sport. I have been living with roomies the last 8 years and love the social part, but also respect privacy. As a person I'm outgoing, love doing sport and drinking wine with friends. Furthermore I like it clean and nice, so you will have a housekeeper in me.

Hi I’m Hannah 👋🏻 I’m 28 and work full-time as a copywriter at a creative agency in Richmond. I originally hail from Wellington but I’ve been in Melbs so long now I find my own accent funny. I’m pretty laid back and enjoy a vino or two with housies, (preferably whilst watching some kind of trashy reality dating show). I’m fully house-trained :) I want a house to feel like home and all those cliches so like to look after a place and keep things tidy. Work can keep me pretty busy so I tend to keep it quiet on weeknights. On weekends I do all those usual things like brunching, seeing gigs and catching up with other humans. I have a work doggo called Obi who visits from time to time for cuddles 🐶
Hi guys my name is Yu, I'm looking for a private room preferably with my own bathroom too! I am 35 year old newly arrived back to Australia after many years in Greece. I am easygoing, clean and tidy. I am studying part time and I’m looking for a friendly home to share, preferably with females. I don't drink or smoke but happy to share a coffee, a laugh and good conversation.
- I’ve lived alone for over 2 years sk I’m very organised and trustworthy. - Currently living alone paying $270 per week; my rental history is on point. - Friendly ‘mister nice guy’ open to making friends although generally quite reserved. - Very conscientious of others
Hi there, I work away a lot but have the same amount of time off. If I'm not planning my next holiday somewhere I am either at work or hanging out with my daughter. she lives here with her mother in Melbourne. All and all very chilled guy, I'm up for most things. I like to keep active, always eating out or getting takeout in saying that if I had someone to cook for I would prefer that a few nights of the week. Really looking forward to meeting some new people in Melbourne as I normally airbnb when I am here. My situation would more suit someone that likes alone time but needs help with the rent and wouldn't mind someone being in there space for short periods of time 6-8 out of 20 of weeks. But also don't want to be the random that comes stays every now and then. Would be nice to be part of a household. Would prefer to be close to public transport don't really feel the need for a car in the amazing city of Melbourne.
