Neat, tidy and love a good feed. Into my sports and getting out and about on weekends. 24 years old and working full time for a work and travel company! A bit of a clown, enjoy a laugh and the odd beer.
* Mid October * Please don't contact for properties available now* Hi! We are a relaxed and sociable couple from the UK moving to Melbourne around the 16th October from Brisi where we have currently been working. Looking to stay until last week of Jan, due to visa ending and then we are off to Asia to travel before heading home. We are easy going, and in the week we work 9-5 in corporate jobs. We are both tidy and always clean up after ourselves. In the week nights we enjoy cooking together, both like to stay pretty active, and love a good netflix and chill. We are respectful of others work schedules and privacy, but equally enjoy chatting about each others days with our roommate! We love making the most of the weekends, exploring the city, going to festivals or summer events, walks in beautiful gardens and taking in all Aus has to offer! We are both very friendly and can get along with pretty much anyone. We love to have a good glass of rose, and are both major foodies! As a couple we love hanging out with groups of friends; and meeting new people on our travels If you have anything suitable please get in touch and would love to facetime/skype to meet and see the place further :) We are interested in a room in a shared house, a shared apartment or a lease transfer for our own place if within budget.
Born in Aus but grew up in England and backpacked around Aus the past 2 years. Now I'm looking for stability and routine for the next 6 months before uni starts (and potentially during uni as well). I'm a social and easy-going guy, but I'm not messy and don't rely on others for things when avoidable. I am big on music: love festivals, gigs and I play acoustic guitar. Also an avid cook, I'm a bit of a scientist so I like to experiment with flavours and see what mixes well with each other. Love geeking out to a board game or video. Considering getting into a martial art and/or ballroom or salsa dancing!
Hello there! I live in north Melbourne atm and our lease is finished so I'm looking for something nearby. I work at a high school out in the Western suburbs in a Mental Health role. I'm originally from Melbourne but have spent a lot of time traveling- and living elsewhere (most recently I lived in Fiji). I'm clean and considerate. Looking for a place that is a home, I enjoy socialising with housemates but also like my own down time. I'm out and about a few nights a week as well as a few nights in.
I am a very tidy and organized person. I'm super easy to get along with, generally quiet and enjoy my personal space but I do enjoy socializing and great conversations. I hoping to find some relaxed living enviroment and friendly flatmates. In my spare time I am an avid reader and fitness enthusiast.
Hey I've recently arrived in Melbourne from England after 5 months travelling around South East Asia and I'm looking for a place to live. I have an admin job starting in October based in Fitzroy. I'm looking for a furnished room in or near this area. I am clean, tidy and easy to get on with :)
I'm from Adelaide, moving to Melbourne for a Bachelor of Entertainment Management at Collarts - mainly at Swanston St. I enjoy music, books, movies and going to gigs. Not a big partier but I'd love to have a couple of late night chats. I am clean, tidy and love food!
I am Yamila, 26 years old from Argentina. I am working full time in a grocery near parliament. I arrived in Melbourne 1 month ago and I am living in Yarraville. I am easygoing, organised and tidy person, and I love to do sports and be outside as much as I can. I am looking for a private furnished room to move in at the beginning of October. Any questions, please feel free to ask!
I am a recently graduated Doctor from Chile, currently in Melbourne for an observership at Monash Hospital. So I will be working from Monday to Friday for two months. I love to have a good time, have a laugh with some drinks, keen on getting to know the city, outdoor activities, travelling and most important to enjoy life.
[About Me] My name is Amanda and I am 23 yr old female currently studying a post grad degree in law at Melb Uni. I am clean, tidy, responsible and well house trained. I spend most of my time at uni, at the gym or studying in my room. I enjoy cooking and a few drinks now and then. I am normally in bed by 12am weekday and weekends - so definitely not a party person [What I am Looking For] I am looking to move in by the end of November and I am interested in a 12 month lease. Preferably a large double room, furnished and with an ensuite, though I can be flexible with that, but no share rooms, don't mind share house or flat share. Please let me know if I fit what you are looking for!
Hi guys! I'm a 27years old Irish lass! I work full-time Monday-Friday in customer service. I have been in Australia for over a year now and absolutely love it! I'm a creative soul who loves to cook. Gym during the week then a bottle of vino at the weekend...Love meeting new people! Always up for chats but respect peoples space. Pay my bills on time! Wants the house to be a home ☺
I'm going to be moving down to Melbourne in late January from Brisbane for work and will be needing somewhere to stay. I'm a doctor and the job's at the RMH, so the nearer the better for me. I'm quite easygoing, happy to do my bit in terms of household chores, and enjoy socialising, but I do like to have my own quiet time as well. I also like to be quite neat and organised as you might be able to tell from me making this listing 4 months in advance... Moving to Melbourne because I love the food and culture so will definitely be keen to be exploring the city and surrounds on weekends!
I am looking for a house or apartment to share between us. I like clean and silent home, I love watching series and movies. I usually study and work during the week, over the weekend, I'm Brazilian looking for a good place to share and enjoy more of the Australian way of living
Hi There, I've just been advised i have two weeks to vacate so am on the lookout for a unfurnished room close to the CBD with some pretty cool people. Im a coordinator for a construction company working standard weekly office hours mon - fri and some Saturdays. I love the outdoors including surfing, golf and camping and also love all things music including the occasional festival and gig. I will definitely be making the most of being in Melbourne to check out many music venues around. Looking for easy access to the city as i recently sold my car. Im quite clean and very easy going, help out around the house and enjoy going out for a beer or dinner from time to time. I have to be out by the 10th of October but can move in earlier or slightly later if required. Also open to weekly rent from $150 to ~$250. Hopefully I seem like someone you like to live with and i hear from you soon !
Hi all, Im a 22 year old registered nurse, I'm a shift worker, working a rotating roster. Rarely on nights, very considerate when getting up at odd times and aware the sucky schedule doesn't suit all. So ideally other nurses/healthcare professionals or shift workers may work better :) Outside of work, i love keeping fit and enjoy the gym as a little outlet, always keen for a spontaneous trip away and love cheap adventures. Love travel, so super interested to hear stories if thats what your into as well. I love a social glass of wine occasionally, but I'm not a big drinker and not interested in party house. Im looking for a home where we can be social, but also respect each others personal space. Lover of dogs, allergic to cats :( Happy to answer any questions thrown my way Hola if your interested in a team up. J
A little about myself: my name is Jesse, I’m 24. I work part time in the bar at pancake parlour (I don’t make the pancakes but I do make them when I’m at home). I study full time at ACU doing Paramedicine. I’m currently in Coburg, but looking to move back closer to the city where all the fun is. I drive, so if anyone ever needs a lift to or from the airport, I’m your guy! I love to cook! Love cooking up big feasts for everyone now and then, can turn anything vegan if need be! Vegan gnocchi is pretty dang good. Do enjoy myself a red wine or craft beer when deserved, grown past the days where getting wasted was fun, only on the hunt for the tastiest brew! Plus coffee, I always have a pot of coffee going round and happy to share it in the morning/night for those late night studies cramming seshs. I am a very tidy person, perhaps the annoying kind of tidiness when it comes to certain things. I‘m also gay, though it doesn’t really matter, just so it’s out there. I like to play dodgeball competitively (got a couple medals up and out). I love photography, need to get back into doing film photography again. I’d also like to sign up to a crossfit to stay fit. I’m not the kind of housemate that will lock myself in my room, I like to be out in the house and procrastinate by talking with peeps about their far more exciting lives. And hopefully have a few brunch buddies to find cute little cafes to eat at and wish I worked there. I also do have a cat, her name is Zelda, and she has been by my side for 8 years. She just spends her time sitting with me when I’m home. Or waiting by the window for me to come back. I understand if she’s not allowed to come with, I can find somewhere suitable for her to go. But would love to have her around. Thank you for your time!!! Enjoy going through all the applications! Would love to hear back from you soon!! Kind Regards, Jesse.
We are a laid back couple from Sweden who just moved to Melbourne and have start working. We like to stay healthy and active but we also like to go out for a beer on weekends.
Hi everyone, I am a 25 year old laid back guy from Colombia and I’ve come here to study architecture at RMIT but I’m looking for a place to call home and to find some awesome housemates to be like my family away from home 😊 As a housemate, I am tidy (I clean up after myself), I enjoy cooking and love the occasional drinks outside and inside of home but I don’t randomly bring people over. I respect your privacy, and your possessions and I understand personal space etc. I’ an independent and a very busy person so you won’t see my much but when I am at home but when In am at home, I like to have a chat, or a meal or drink together. I spend most of my days either working, studying or exercising. I work at Red Spice Road so on the odd occasion, I try to sneak food home to share with you.
Hi, I'm from France and I m coming back for a 2nd year in Melbourne and for this year I would like to find a nice place to stay around this beautiful city. I m working in filmmaking industry and I also have other jobs in hospitality. I m easy going, I like to talk about everything, having a coffee or a beer, share a meal... I love cooking, watching movies and do some sport. I also like to have my own time to relax... Anyway I'll be more than happy to meet you in person to talk everything. See you soon, Solène
Hey everyone, my name's Amber. Turned 30 this year and looking for a massive lifestyle and inspirational change - want to get away from Sydney as soon as possible and relocate to Melbourne. A bit of background on me - I've been a multi disciplinary Artist since I was a child, with a main focus on Acting, Singing and Musicianship. Completed my tertiary education in Acting and I'm currently doing distance study in Electronic Sound Production and Indigenous Studies, to help expand my mind and teach me new skills. I love to read and learn, have solid conversations and a good laugh, share knowledge - books and artworks make up 70% of my earthly goods! A few of my interests include Reading, Playing Guitar, Socializing with friends on the weekend, Writing, Dancing, Acting, Cooking, Travel, Theatre, Music Production and Songwriting, Singing, Yoga and Martial Arts, Gaming (Xbox 360 - I have one to bring to the house and a load of games, if that's your thing too), binge watching Netflix or getting into some hardcore SBS on demand / ABC iview when I have free time, Photography and Art of all forms. Social justice, human/civil rights and equality are vital concepts to me. By no means a definitive list, but it gives you a bit of an idea. I'm friendly, respectful, fun, keep things in the house clean and am a weird balance of someone who likes to say hi and be social round the house when it suits people, but can also respect your space/privacy and like to enjoy my own when I'm feeling hermity too - hopefully you won't be the type to take it personally if i need some time out to myself. Not a precious princess about things and am really adverse to passive aggressive types - if you're not the sort of person that can just have a calm, upfront chat and nip it in the bud if I accidentally do anything to annoy you, then we probably won't enjoy living together. I'm a smoker, although more than happy to go outside if you're not, as this is most people's preference, I'm not obnoxious about it and respect people's needs. Constantly burning fragrant oils / candles and incense anyway and am very conscious of mutual space, nothing like coming home to a house that feels welcoming and smells divine. Not a huge party animal, though I do enjoy occasionally having people round sometimes - during the week I'm pretty chill (although, also not boring hey - totally not adverse to cracking some wine or beers while cooking / having a friend round when the mood strikes - I'm a pretty mean cook, double plus bonus!). Weekends are always easier for getting out and about or catching up with people. If this sounds like someone you wouldn't mind sharing space with, let me know. Thanks in advance mates, look forward to meeting some like minds - keen for a long-term place I can make a home, with cool, fuss-free housemate/s who like the sound of my listing. Looking to make the move ASAP soon as I find something. Let me know if you have any questions. Peace and Thanks, Amber
I'm a laid back Perth-born guy studying advertising at RMIT, and i'm looking (ideally) to get together with a few people and start a new share house, or possibly just a room in an existing house if the people are cool. I'm still pretty new to Melbourne and so i'd love to be living with people that will be down for beers or a good 2K/FIFA wager, and I'd be totally cool with you having mates over for drinks/small parties as long as you're not weird about me meeting them. So basically hit me up if you're a social guy/gal that isn't going to hide in their room all the time. I'm just going to dot-point stuff from here on out: - I'm a clean guy, but definitely not a neat freak, so your room can be a total pig-sty if you want, so long as common areas are kept presentable. - Couples okay - I don't own a car so Flemington and Kensington are appealing as they both have stores nearby and are also close to the CBD, but if you know of any other areas that are similar I'm definitely flexible. - I am a really sarcastic guy and constantly making jokes, but also love to have a lengthy debate over serious and interesting topics, so if those things don't appeal to you then i'm not your best option because they are the main pillars of my personality. - My cooking skills are seriously minimal (toast and spaghetti) - I'm on time with rent, and happy to split bills on anything extra in order to keep costs down. - Possibly okay if you have pets, but I would have to make sure my throat doesn't close up around them. (i'm a serious dog lover so being allergic is depressing as fkkkkk) - I'm not fussed about you bringing people home from bars/clubs so long as you flick me a text first so I have a chance to get out of your way. - I go to the gym, but i'm no bodybuilder, so I don't want you judging me when I pound down 2 pizzas alone. - I'm a diehard Crows fan, and a big follower of the NBA and Premier League, but I love to watch just about any sport. - I like to watch House of Cards, Game of Thrones, Suits, The Office, Friends re-runs, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and probably a bunch of other stuff I can't remember. - Oh and my favourite movie has been Titanic since i was 5 years old, I feel like that might be relevant somehow. - Other interests include; US Politics, Standup Comedy, Writing, Reading, Gaming (just basic stuff like sports games and the occasional shooter), Golf (i'm terrible at it but i enjoy a sunny day on the course), and drinking too much. That's pretty much it, I'm a good bloke to have around the house if you're not a super serious person, and i do my fair share to ensure harmonious living. If you're interested or if you have any questions please message me!
I am Camilla - Austrian (and half Swedish) and currently moved to Melbourne. I’m a full- time student at La Trobe and I’m searching for a nice place to live around! About me: I am an easy-going, friendly person, who likes to socialize and prefers a home more than a house...I like clean environments so I always keep things tidy. For me mostly the vibe in the house is important and that everyone is respectful with each other. Clear communication, reliability and a good sense of humour shared together, is what I like in my housemates. Moreover giving privacy when wanted/needed but also being able to hang out together is important for me. I love to cook, laugh and laugh, share a glass of wine, meditate, do Reiki, discuss life, read and simply enjoy life and everything that nourishes the soul ☺
Hey! Planning to move to Melbourne on 30th September and would be very keen to do viewings any dates after that! Im currently looking to rent around 6 month. I'm 23 years old, working in finance and my preferable location is close to CBD as I'll be working full time. Thanks, Jun
