Hi, I'm Jess, I study English and teaching at Flinders Uni (and work there sometimes as a Student Ambassador). I also work as a kitchen-hand. My hobbies include; always paying my rent and bills on time; immediately connecting with new housemates; watching cartoons and films; playing guitar (quiet, non-obtrusive acoustic); video games; writing; reading; skating blah blah blah... My girlfriend is also named Jess (saving YOU, potential housemate so much time remembering our names or even distinguishing us). She's a musician and were moving to Melbourne to pursue her music career. She's into most of my aforementioned hobbies but slightly more of a hippy, beachy sort, and slightly less of the 'brooding writer' thing I've cultivated. We would love to find somewhere 4:20 friendly. I'm a smoker, but more than happy to do it outside. I'm happy to live with any race, sexual orientation, religion, gender etc. Basically, it's all good.
Hiya! I'm a 28 year old female with a well trained and very friendly 5yo cat- a medium coat white and tabby handsome character by the name of Dr. Watson. I'm moving to Melbourne from Sydney to take up uni and will work part or full time as necessary. (Previously a qualified veterinary nurse- have worked the past 4 years in insurance- escalations/disputes/assessing claims) I'm currently doing a month in Europe and will be back mid February..so I'm hoping to move in to Melbourne in March. I keep a clean house and I'm quite respectful of noise. I do like to drink and 'party' at times however this is rarely at home. If you are the kind to have people over regularly that is perfectly fine by me! (On a 'worknight' I'd appreciate some hush by 10.30 though) I'm hoping to have someone to hang out with, but also will respect your privacy (as I hope you will mine). I have a passion for music, philosophy(I'm s beginner but loving it!), animals, food (I'm vegan but not a wanker- you can eat meat!) and travel.
I'm a french girl, I obtained an internship at Aesop in Fitzroy from January to August ! it's my first time in Australia and I'm coming alone ! I will work a lot Monday to Friday and maybe at home sometimes on the week ends but I like to go out, to discover new things, to have drinks, to make some sports and to share nice moments with nice peoples each time that I can !! So I'm searching a room in an apartment with nice people in the center of Melbourne ! :)
Hello there future housemate(s), I’m Sanjit, a 22-year-old student who’s looking to move to Melbourne from Brisbane in order to pursue my Master’s degree in Food science at the University of Melbourne. I’m very reliable with rent and other bills (can provide references of previous housemates). I’ve lived in many share houses before so I know the drill! I’m hygienic and tidy and always clean the dishes after cooking (Such a legend)! I’m very chilled out and laid-back (so much so that I’m almost horizontal) and hope to find similar easy going and open minded housemates. I’m a very sociable person, love going out for food, drinks, movies and would love to find a chilled out place to call home. I also respect everyone’s privacy and will not be constantly pestering you haha. Since I’ll be starting with my Master’s degree, I’ll be pretty busy during the weekdays at Uni but I’m always keen to chill on the weekends. I love watching and playing soccer! (GO Manchester united!) I enjoy scuba diving, longboarding and am now looking into indoor/outdoor rock climbing. I smoke from time to time and will obviously do it outside and away from anyone else ( will keep your personal airspace cancer free). I’m an avid music listener! Love rap, hip hop (artists such as Kendrick lamar, Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, The underachievers, Joey badass, J cole etc), classic rock (Pink Floyd, Guns n roses, Aerosmith, The beatles, Jefferson airplane, Creedence Clearwater revival, The rolling stones, Eric Clapton, Queen etc), Electronic (Flume, Nicholas jaar, Odesza, Pretty lights, Eric prydz, Bassnectar etc) and sometimes when I’m feeling classy, I’ll hit up some Wolfgang Mozart (what a ridiculously cool name) or Bach. So if you love music, I’m sure we will get along!! Also, I have a pair of headphones so you don’t have to worry about me blasting loud music. Also down to binge watch movies and tv shows. So, if you think we’d get along, hit me up!! Feel free to ask me any questions I’m currently travelling overseas and will be arriving in Melbourne around the 15th of February. Send me a message if you're interested. Hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm a French Teacher here for a year on an exchange programme. I'm easy going, tidy, clean, always up for a glass, a chat, an evening out… I am a musician (I play the trumpet although haven’t brought my instrument so no worries about the noise!), love sports (running, have to start fitness again), cooking, baking, eating, chatting, discoveri, travelling...
Hi all, We are two young women from Germany, working within the adidas-group at the headquarters and will be in Melbourne for our company for a longer duration. Starting date will be the February 26 until end of June. We ensure a good monthly income and also a perfect tidiness. Looking forward to hearing from you!! Kind Regards Julia & Florentina
Outgoing, bubbly, friendly and very ready to start a new chapter in my life. I work hard to make a house a home, I tidy where I live every day and properly clean every fortnight. I like to meal prep for the week (vegetarian/vegan) but also love cooking for friends, and I only choose to drink on special occasions, but I don't care what other people choose to do. I love a good party and have an active social life, but I prefer not to bring it home. Don't mind having friends over for dinner and drinks, but home is usually where I spend "me" time and relax. I am seeking somewhere with extremely close public transport (preferably somewhere along the free tramline) and close to the city as that's where I work full time, and as I don't have a car I won't need a parking space. I love spending my down time watching movies, having a good chat with mates, reading, writing or painting or surfing music channels. I'm keen to make a new life, new friends, and a housemate/s would be a great start!! 😊😊
Hey :) Friendly, Respectful, Tidy and overall completely chilled! Passions: Enjoying life! - AKA Working Full Time, Sleep and also communicating to the waking world, if possible ;)
Looking for a lovely light filled room and house that is relaxed, stress free and happy. I have a very chilled out outdoor cat, shes 12 and sleeps 23hours a day. And an extremely friendly 2.5yr old staffy x dog who loves balls. Im 28 and a graduate architect. I work full time 8 till 5 everyday and gym nearly every morning. i play social netball and enjoy going to farmers markets, camping and going out for dinner in my time off. I also like making things, furniture or painting or something else random sometimes too. I come with a fridge, washer, massive couch, tv and record player as well as the dog and cat.
I'm a laid back person studying at Monash University that likes to feel comfortable and relaxed around the people I'm living with. I am willing to chat to anyone about almost anything so I get along with most people quite well. My friend, Kiara and I are looking to set up a share house with someone who won't live as just a stranger but as someone we can have a chat to and have fun with. Share houses shouldn't be this awkward experience of strangers they should be a great way to get to know people. I am a clean person that loves a good discussion and to have a bit of fun. We are looking for somebody to share a house with that feels and is looking for the same kind of experience. Both of us are country people, living in Melbourne for uni who both work and have over a year's experience each of living away from home, paying rent, etc. Happy to take on first-timers or experienced people so long as they are reliable!
I come from the Philippines and will be taking my MBA this February 2017 in Melbourne. I am very friendly, easy to live with, loves sports, I get along well with others and I cook.
Originally from London but in Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I'm sociable, but not looking for a party house. Tidy and always clean up after myself (no dishes left in the sink for days on end!) After spending 4 months in hostel dorms I'm looking forward to having somewhere I can make feel like home. I'm currently looking for work so can only commit to a maximum of 4 weeks at the moment, but hopefully I'll find work soon and then it could be anything up to 10 months (when my visa expires). If you think you have something that might interest me please let me know. My moving in date is flexible. Thanks Yvonne
A master student in accounting (25) Respectful, tidy and open - minded. Love watching TV and meeting new people. Don't drink or smoke.
You could speak German with me, because I'm from Berlin. I like it to enjoy food and drink. I am good for visit a museum or the beach. I can be quite, but like good chats. In Germany I worked as a teacher in a kindergarten and finished my study last year. I can paint your face for an event. I stay only one month (March) in Melbourne for saying good bye to Friends and this beautiful city, than I fly back. In March I wanna volunteering maybe in a neighborhood house and will make good experiences. Important for me is a relexed room for enjoying the last days.
Hey ! I'm Louise, I come from France and will be studying in Melbourne for a semester starting from february. I can't wait for you to laugh about my cheese&and wine obsession (maybe you will suffer from it too after meeting me, who knows!!). My passions in life are : - great and bad jokes - cooking - meeting people and share everything we don't have in common ! But don't worry, I am also found of cleaning an entire house and being silent. Hope to hear from you soon

I've just moved to Melbourne from Queensland to study law at the University of Melbourne. I've just completed my Bachelor of Arts and spent the last six month on exchange in Ireland and travelling around Europe. I'm pretty easygoing and always down for a chat over a cuppa or a drink.
We are a couple (aged 25 and 28) looking for an apartment or room to rent for few months up to 6 months or so. Offers for shorter time are welcome also right now. We might stay here for longer but we would prefer not to commit to a long lease right now. Argo is currently working full time (near St.Kilda) and I do photography and graphic design and I am looking for a job in the area. Argo likes gardening and has a B.Sc in Landscape Architecture. I studied Biology back home but lately, I have been more interested in photography and arts. I've done cleaning professionally and we like to keep clean. We are rather quiet but we are also happy to socialise and have a glass of wine on the weekends!

Hi All! My name is Sanne, I'm 27 years old and originally from the Netherlands. I moved to Australia 3 months ago and looking for a sublet from the start of Feb till the end of March (shorter sublets also have my interest!). A little about myself: I work full-time for a travel company. I'm very social, but not looking for a party house. I very much enjoy cooking together sometimes or having a glass of wine, but also giving each some space. In my time off I love to take my bike out for a ride, go outdoors or go to festivals, bars and cafes with friends. Looking forward to hear from you! Sanne
I am Marco and I am living in Hamburg, Germany. I am working in Melbourne for 3 months. I usually work from 9-19 so I won't be at home during the day. After work, I like to play football, watch a movie to have a nice chat with my flatmates. As this is the first time for me here in Australia, I like to see as much as possible on the weekends. I am a very tidy and respectful guy who is always up for a nice conversation. But I also respect people who prefer to spend time alone. Cheers, Marco
Hi there : ) I'm looking for a new home. I've lived in so it's about time I finally make a move to what I think, is the best city in the world! My job is 9am-5pm M-F. I'm 28 & single. I like to think of myself as a bit of a foodie, I love exploring new places. I prefer a healthier lifestyle and try to do some form of exercise everyday. Is it just me or does this feel a bit like an online dating profile..... A few things about me, to you know, get to know me a bit better.... First ever live band/concert: New Found Glory, Paramore was the warm up act. Favourite song: This question is far too difficult to answer. The mood I'm in usually depicts the genre, today I'm loving 'Black Skinhead' by Kanye because it's a get sh#t done kind of song. I have a love for many different genres. What's the next band/concert: Jimmy Eat World. Favourite drink: Bourbon, vodka, whisky & wine. FYI I don't drink often so I'm a lightweight but I do enjoy a drink. Favourite movie: Anything Denzel or Zac Effron is in. Fear: Spiders. I'm not a funny person by nature, it's more of an accident if I'm honest. But I do love a good joke and prank. My idea of a great night out would be tapas/dinner and drinks with friends sitting outside somewhere with live music. I love bars however I do not love clubs etc.
Hello! I'm very excited to move to Melbourne! I'm a very friendly nerd who enjoys reading, board games, and cooking. I will probably spend most evenings out exploring the city. I would love housemates to explore restaurants, parks, bars, and events with; but am happy to go solo. My last sharehouse they called me "mom" because I was always cooking and cleaning, while making sure everyone was getting along and enjoying themselves. It was a great place to live, but I'm looking for a change of scenery and to experience all the Melbourne has to offer!
Hi everyone, This is Ali. I teach International Business at RMIT University and also do research. During the last 7 years, I've been living in various share houses with people coming from different backgrounds among different ages and I'm familiar with sharehouse lifestyle. I do exercise regularly, it's been a while I do yoga, Tai Chi, walking and also swimming. I do like cooking and prefer to cook at home and would be happy to share a weekly meal with my future housemates. I prefer to live with people who care about keeping the place clean and I'm happpy to do so. I'm not only looking for a bedroom but also for people who like to communicate in their free time. Please contact me if you think we can get along.
I'm currently working full-time and studying part-time. I'm looking for a relaxed house with relaxed people. I'm tidy, never leave dirty dishes (perfect, right?) and will happily walk someone else's dog if needed.
Hi Everybody! My name is Sanne, I'm 27 years old. Work full-time for a travel company. Very social, but not looking for a party house. I enjoy cooking together sometimes or having a glass of wine, but also giving each some space. In my time off I love to take my bike out for a ride, go outdoors or go to festivals, bars and cafes with friends.
Marcus, 26 years old, Australian born but also the proud holder of a British passport (thanks mum). I was born in Melbourne and have lived here most of my life - except for 6 months in Canada and 2 years living in Ireland. Recently returned to Australia to lay some roots down, I am now looking to move out into the outer city suburbs to make it easier to get to work and to be in amongst this great city. I am an English language teacher working in the CBD on weekdays, in the evening and on weekends I like to work on my writing. I value my own space, independence and am an introvert at heart, but I love socialising with people as long as they are genuine and easy-going. I have a low tolerance for facades and would expect respect and honesty from potential housemates. As I work in a social job, and am quite drained at the end of a day, I would like to live with others who respect the space of others while at the same time enjoying hanging out occasionally. I'm not after a party household and would enjoy living with others who are in their later 20's who want a mature and "got-their-shit-together" type to join their household. My main hobbies include reading, writing, photography (medium format film), and going to the cinema. I love visiting Nova Cinema, the Astor and the Kino in the city and try to go once a week (minimum). I'm also a voracious music lover and have it on most of the time. Expect to hear me singing along to Jens Lekman or Kings of Convenience at some point! Socially, an ideal night out would be a good dinner out then plenty of red wine and chats, or seeing some live music. I also adore coffee and enjoy nothing more than sitting at a cafe with friends, chatting. I would be after a non-furnished room in a cosy house with lots of light. The vibe is important for me. I also want a room big enough for my bed, a desk, and all my books.
Mid 30's public servant relocating from Canberra for work and looking for a good housemate to team up with, or a nice person who can offer a room until I can get settled on my feet. Hoping to find easy going housemates who take pride in their home. I'm looking for more than just a house, but a place that I can call home. I'm rather quiet but I do enjoy a laugh and being somewhat social. Not looking for a party house, rather a place of refuge that I can come home to at the end of the day. My ideal flatmate would be someone who is also quite and a little reserved, but enjoys a good chat over a glass of wine. Someone who respects privacy is mandatory. Happy to share the cooking or keep it separate. I'm not the best cook but really do enjoy it. Interests include talking politics, travel, aviation, literature, web development and reading. Paying bills and rent on time of course is a big factor. I'll be brand new to Melbourne so somebody to explore the city with and make a new friend or two would be advantageous but not a requirement for a housemate.
I am easy going and friendly person I'm working part time and study full time. I like to keep things very clean , neat and organised. I like to socialize and love to meet people. The majority of my time I'm either in my room, at work or out with friends. I pay rent on time. I'm looking for a room spacious enough to fit a queen size bed and a desk and chair for my laptop.
To people i know, i'm that girl who is always happy and always laughing. I'm very outgoing and usually up for an adventure. I play basketball with some friends and work Monday - Friday. Although not as much anymore i do like to go out for a drink and catch up with friends every now and then. But usually on week nights i don't do a whole lot!I'm very close with my family as well. I am a tidy person and always clean up after myself, love to cook and bake. Overall i'd say i'm a pretty fun person to live with and minimal to no drama!
I'm Yanna i'm half brazilian/australian but have lived in Aus since I was 11. I'm a 25 year old Registered Nurse currently living in Sydney but making the much needed move to Melbourne in late January start of february (sydney is culturally dead). I've lived out of home in share houses since 18 and have always loved it specially getting to make new friends and getting to know new people. Looking for an unfurnished room in a share house for a 12 month period. I'll be working part time at Royal Melbourne Hospital but looking to do some design/creative studies and work on the side. I will be honest......I'm pretty much the best housemate you'll ever have. I love cooking and eating but most importantly feeding my housemates delicious food and wine. I like to find the balance where I can hang with housemates on the occasion after work or on weekends for food, drinks, gigs and chats but also enjoy my own time. I always leave communal spaces clean and tidy and enjoy making space homely and comfortable and always check with everyone prior to inviting friends over (usually for a dinner or drink not a last min rave party). Like everyone else in 2016 I'm really into indoor/outdoor plants specially working on keeping them live, I've had a year of trial and errors so I should be good by 2k17. I'm obsessed with music and love going to music events specially a lot of underground kinda stuff. I also love art and really enjoy getting into creative projects. If I sound like the kinda person you wanna share a home space with let me know. For a bit of a vibe of what I'm about IG account is the way to go :).
Hi there! Emily here! I am currently living in Cambodia where I have been doing community education for the past 9 months. I will be returning to Melbourne at the end of Jan to restart with my job at a dental practice, as well as in time to get set up for the uni year. I thrive when I get move my body (yoga, hiking, dancing, jogging) and also when exploring new places, food and live music with friends out and about in Melbourne... What it more important though is how I can fit in to a house share. I really do value a balanced living space and making the house a home. This means I am respectful and considerate with cleanliness, bills and noise. I do also adore having a comfortable environment to come home to where I can share laughs, food and drinks with housemates (or just chill). Ideally, my new home would be my home for at least 6 months and be furnished (except the room as I have a doubled bed, and small belongings in storage). It's a tough gig trying to sell yourself for a new home, but please please get in touch, and if there are any questions just message away. PS. I can provide super housemate reference if required!
I'm a nice, easy going guy. i'm from France and only recently moved to Melbourne in order to play music. I'm open minded and like having friendly conversations about any topic. I like travel, music, nature and people!
Easy going, neat and tidy. Not a party animal, so minimal noise in house. Good with pets.
Hey, I'm Ali. I am a 22 year old student moving from Sydney to melbourne to complete my architecture masters. I love spending my spare time eating good food or going to the beach!
