Hey there! I just moved to Melbourne with a working holiday visa and plan on being here for a minimum of 6 months. I'm an easygoing, open-minded, and friendly person. I love to travel and spent the last 3 years seeing Europe with Madrid as a home base. I like trying new foods, water sports, hiking, and trivia nights.
Hey guys! I'm on a look out for a long term room preferably around northcote/fitzroy north/thornbury/fairfield/preston/brunswick/east. I'm 27 years old, and I am starting my PhD in Social Sciences at La Trobe University (Bundoora Campus). It is 3-4 years program, so it would be nice to find housemates I could call friends :) I'm very chilled, vegetarian, clean, love yoga, travelling and cooking. I love a drink of wine and a chat every now and then but can also respect personal space. I've been living in many countries for the last 3 years. I spent 11 months in Melbourne and went travelling for almost 6 months. Now I'm back here and would love to settle down somewhere. I preferably need something furnished, but if it's unfurnished it won't be a big issue. I'm looking to live in a house with a garden/ backyard, so not very keen for apartment. Unfortunatelly I am allergic to cats. However I love dogs, so if you have one I can even take care of him sometimes! Please me know if you have anything available!! xx

Hey there! I'm Ollie, a 25yr old freelance photographer from the UK. I have spent the last year living and working in NZ for 14 months before returning to the UK to earn funds for my next adventure! That adventure is Melbourne, where I plan to work and live for 6-9 months, depending on how I go. Whilst I am a photographer in my spare time and looking to make it my prime source of income, I will be looking to work anywhere in the city centre. I'm looking for a place with like-minded and creative people such as myself; the kind of people that I can be friends with and not just housemates. As an aspiring photographer, I'm always keen for a new adventure either around or out of the city. To be surrounded by other creative individuals, I'm more than likely going to be capturing the good times with you, producing a new Facebook/Tinder profile picture for you in the process :D I hope to find myself a group of housemates who will make my time here in Melbourne memorable! - Ollie

Hey! Bit about me.. I'm from London, trialed Melbourne and Sydney in my first few weeks and want to settle in Melbourne, it's amazing here but do appreciate, it's pretty sunny at the moment.. this will change! I will be working in the Retail Fashion Industry within Buying / Product Development. At the moment I'm planning on doing a day trip to a Lysterfield Lake with friends, a BBQ on St Kilda beach, going to Bimbos and volunteering at Babylon festival. These are the kind things I like to give you an idea 🙂 Lastly I am super clean and tidy, enjoy cooking, music, sports and will use the gym. I have lived in house shares a lot and can be quite good at the odd DIY if needed.... About you guys... I very much want to live in a similar way to I did in London, great people and vibes. We had our own lives but shared these with each other and were a little family, often cooking for each other, going for drinks, chilling at the park or just being idiots. This is what I am looking for in my flatmates as I believe it's the people you live with you make or break it! Thanks for reading this far. Ross
Hi there I'm a young professional working full time with MLC in Docklands. As a housemate, I'm sociable and enjoy a good chat in the kitchen/lounge room on the odd evening but also know how to respect personal space. You'll find me considerate and tidy and I don't have a lot of furniture or other stuff to clutter up the house with. Am partial to floorboards for sliding around in socks. I'm looking for a non-party yet sociable sharehouse.

We work remotely which allows me to work from anywhere and choose my own hours. I enjoy games (both video and board), films, quality TV, all kinds of music, and the occasional whiskey. I’m quiet, tidy, and love to chat about anything big or small. I’m no Jamie Oliver but I enjoy a bit of cooking too. I also come with a Ragdoll cat named Percy. I’ve never known anyone not to love him. He’s chill, friendly, and hilarious.
Hi there! I'm Rieneke, dutch girl from Amsterdam who just moved here for a PhD at the University of Melbourne, so I'm looking for a nice place to live in Melbourne! About me..I studied geology in Amsterdam and Innsbruck (Austria), now ready to start a PhD in climate research, which luckily enough it became a passion. I also love outdoor, music, salsa dancing, reading, dogs, photography and of course the social stuff. I'm looking for a roommate (or two or three) to share a place with, I'm also open to teamups. I'm easygoing, in for a chat or a drink and I'm clean (although there's nothing wrong with a stain of life happening) and I pay my bills. ;) Cheers, Rieneke

I arrived in Melbourne 2,5 weeks ago and I really like the vibe in this city! I came to australia on a working holiday visa and since I want to have a long eastcoasty holiday I have to work a couple of months to make that true. I work in Melbourne as a barista, because I really love coffee and did this job also during my study. Anyways, let me introduce myself: My name is Laura and I am from the Netherlands, Utrecht. I am 23 years old and just graduated last summer in educational science and to become a primary school teacher. I am an easygoing person to hang out with and I like doing sports (hockey en surfing are my favorites) and I also like to hang out with people and wander around the city. I am really tidy and I clean up after myself so no worries! If you have more questions you can always text me back or if you want me to drop by, tell me!
My name is Ashling, 29 years old Irish female living in Australia for over 4 years. I work in the CBD full time in Insurance. Im easy going, social and also enjoy my own private time to chill out and switch off after a busy day. However I I like to keep active so most of my evenings are usually spent being out and about (yoga , F45, walks) .On the weekends, I love going for brunches with friends (im a foodie!!) and having a couple of wines. My guilty pleasure is trashy tv (don't judge!!) . But mainly I like to get out of the city on the weekends. Im tidy, respectful and not looking for a party house. Looking for a similar, like minded professional working female housemate to share a place with thats close to the city.
I've just moved down from Brisbane, and am looking for a fab sassy house to move into. I initially came down to study fashion merchandising at RMIT and will be starting that mid year. Up until then I'm just going to chill out, work as much as possible somewhere in hospitality, and get to know this city. I really want to get back into doing more art and being more creative, so a home that would allow me to do this would be fab! and extra points if I can do this with my roomies. I'm all about having a good time, whether thats having chats over cocktails in bars with pals, dancing the night away to some live music, or just lazing at home being a pleb. I'm looking for somewhere I can call home. I'm not home very much as I like to keep myself busy, but when I am I like to enjoy my space and keep things tidy and clean. I'm not too fussed on anything else. hmu if you have think I'd fit into your home or if you know someone who knows someone. keep on shining xox
I'm a happy, positive and easy going sort, I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, I LOVE cooking with fresh produce and exercising whenever I get the chance. I'm working full-time in childcare and studying my Diploma of Early childhood by distance, so during the week I'm quite busy and tired and will most likely (try to) spend time on my computer studying. On the weekends I try not to take life too seriously, I like to meet new people/experience new things, love the outdoors, eat out, eat in, see friends/family, love live music and although rarely drink enjoy a night out. In terms of living I am very clean and would benefit housing with similar minded/mature people who respect each other's privacy but enjoy having a yarn/family dinner (:
Hi there! I am an international student from Germany and will be working full time on my PhD project at the University of Melbourne. I am tidy and clean living. I would like to watch a movie with my future flatmates or have a drink from time to time but I also understand one's need to be alone sometimes. I am more on the quite side but don’t mind the occasional get together with friends. I am not a pet person so I would prefer a home without cats and dogs.

Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old multimedia designer from Finland. I have been in Melbourne for about four months and working full time (weekdays 9 to 5ish) doing digital marketing and design. I'm looking for a nice place, close public transport and the city. Preferably until the end of July (five months), but also open for shorter periods. I'm really into music and all kinds of creative stuff in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and other events around the city or just hanging out with friends, watching movies and etc. I have plenty of experience sharing apartments around the world and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy. I'm also responsible, clean and reliable, so I'm happy to do my bit around the house and will take care of the rent and bills without a hassle. Not too interested in a party house, but a friendly and easy-going share-house environment. Feel free to contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!
Hey! I'm a German psychology student staying in Melbourne for 8 weeks for an internship at Victoria University. I'm excited to see as much from the city and the country as possible (next to my internship of course), so I'll probably be out of the house a lot. I love music, sports and spontaneous activities. I would describe myself as open-minded and kind.
My name is Nick, I'm a dutch guy starting my last semester studying architecture at the University of Melbourne. I love travelling, urban photography and to go surfing. Also, I'm very passionate about my study. I am doing alot of sports during the week, like running, going to the gym and swimming. I'm not very good in this kind of advertising myself with text, so i prefer to meet you face to face!
Hello there! My name is Daniela Piedrahita, I'm 23 (almost 24), Colombian and in the hunt for a great place to live and someone to share my new experience in Melbourne with. I have been living here for the past 6 months and loved it so much that decided to stay longer. I'm starting a Marketing Diploma in March, which lasts 1 year and I'll be working part-time throughout my whole stay. I love hanging out with my friends after work, but also appreciate having time and space for myself. I'm friendly, caring, clean and respectful. I'm crazy passionate about food, but especially chocolate, so if you like trying new restaurants/recipes, we are for sure going to get along perfectly well. I can't deny the latin blood that flows trough my veins and therefore I really like dancing (although I'm not that good, even for a Colombian), regardless I can teach you some moves or some Spanish :)

Hello there! I'm Tamara, 32 years old from Brazil. I recently moved to Melbourne to study, but I also work full time. I spent two years in Australia with the working holiday and now I'm studying Travel and Tourism. I think what makes me a great person to live with is that I'm easy-going, but I also like the house tidy and clean, so I can be relaxed in a way, but also responsible. I grew up in Brazil, but moved to Germany in my 20s, where I spent 7 years. After Germany became a bit boring for me, so I went traveling and lived in different places like Switzerland and Cambodia. Now I'm based in Melbourne for a couple of years and I love the city. Music, cinema and arts are my life. I love to exercise as well with yoga, running or swimming. It's difficult to write in a short note why I'd be a good housemate, but I honestly consider myself a good girl at heart, good fun, and very laid-back.
I am a 22 year old male, originally from Western Australia and only recently moved to Melbourne (10 months ago) after I graduated with an Environmental Science degree and gained employment as a Contaminated Land Consultant in South Melbourne. My preferred length of stay states 4 months, however I am open to settling in for much longer depending on other circumstances which I am happy to discuss in detail. I am very relaxed, stress-free and prefer to live in a tidy environment. I am very active, attend the gym in South Melbourne after work everyday and also play Football (AFL) in the winter. As I maintain a healthy diet, I enjoy cooking my own meals and always happy to cook for other housemates whilst i'm at it. Always up for a good chat about anything and everything. Please consider me as your potential housemate!

I've it a years visa so I'm looking for something long term as I want to stay in Melbourne until I have to go and do my farm work! I'm easy going and easy to get on with. I'm very social, always keen for a few drinks or cooking a meal! I love going out for food to and finding new places to try. Hopefully I'm going to get a bike while I'm here and I quite like swimming... not that it happens very often. I've got a job so I have a regular income and I'll pay my rent on time! I'm clean and tidy and won't hog the bathroom!

Hello, I am a single man working full time, looking for a place to call home. I am easy going, respectful, happy, social, open mind and easy to get along. I like to keep tidy and to make sure I live in a clean, happy environment. I enjoy going to the beach, gym, parks and exploring new places. I love animals, reading, having a laugh and cooking. I don't smoke and I am not really into partying but I do like the occasional drink on the weekend. I'm sociable but also respect people's space (we all need our down time). I am looking for people that I can feel and be comfortable around, people that love to sit and have a chat, but also can let me meditate and respect my own space. I would prefer to live somewhere close to Victoria Queen Market and with car park (on/off street). If you believe that I could be your new flatmate, text me please! Thank you! :-)
Hi there, I've just moved to Melbourne, from India.. Very enthusiastic to make new friends and hang out.. I like to read sometimes, go for hitch hike, go camping and have irresistible love the pets.. I am a Post Graduate student ,and I am used to the "sharing a place" thing for almost 4 years now..
*Not looking to move until End of April/Early May* Hi, Im a friendly, social being who likes a tidy house. I've lived in all sorts of share situations - sharing food, going it alone, cleaning as needed and keeping to a strict roster. I'm reliable and organised - hopefully this doesn't mean I'm not fun! I like to think I am and love a good bonding/gossip sesh and a laugh. Like to share teas/wines/beers as they happen and have no problems grabbing washing off the line before rain, watering pot plants when others are away and picking this up from the shops on the way home. I'm an urban planner working for state gov full time, a country girl at heart I'm a fan of a bit of gardening. My current house has chickens which I love and am sad to be leaving. I have a super affectionate cat and an entire house of furniture to contribute (although I'd happily discuss letting some of it go if needed). Looking to move by May 15 either into a great existing sharehouse or start a new one. My location preference is super-free, I'm only in need of a train within 10mins walk or a 1/2 hr easy bike ride to the cbd.
