I'm Chris, 24, soon to start a new job as a maths education specialist in South Melbourne! (I'm very excited!) I have been living in a delightful sharehouse in Clayton for three years, but I'd like to move a bit closer to where I'll be working. I'm an easygoing mix of sociable and introverted, good with cleaning up after myself, and always keen to communicate to resolve any potential conflicts. Hobbies include swing dancing, juggling, board games, and discussions about philosophy and society. And generally learning new ideas and skills :P
Hi future house mate, I’m Damien. I’ve spent my whole life living and working in regional areas of Australia so now it's time to head to the big city for a while. Key Facts - Originally from Coffs Harbour. - Almost 27 - Aspiring Frenchman - Accountant (don’t hold it against me) - Coffee - Sport and fitness I'm a fun and relaxed guy with experience living in share houses with both guys and girls. I'd prefer a social household where I can have a chat, share a meal and head out for a drink or gig (or both) every so often. Having said that I am independent and can entertain myself. When it comes to shared responsibilities I always pull my weight and I prefer a tidy house. I understand that everyone has their own lives and socials commitments and I am respectful of that. Cheers
Hey! My name is Gabby, I work full time in the events industry and am easy going, clean and friendly. Work keeps me pretty busy but in my free time I like catching up with friends, going to the markets, for walks, seeing bands, hitting the local brunch and bar spots and of course a causal Netflix binge every now and then. As a housemate I'd respect your privacy however I'm always up for a drink, chat or dinner. I'm fairly flexible with my moving date but wold prefer to move in the last week or February - first 2 weeks of March.
Hey! I'm Sam and I'm a contemporary dance artist from Adelaide. Ive just moved to Melbourne to study at the Victorian College of the Arts for a few years. I'll be 24 in feb and have a lot of experience living in share houses. I'm looking for a home full of good vibes/positive energy. I'm an outgoing, sociable guy who enjoys quality time with quality people. I like going out to shows, gigs and other events, into everything arty. Overall I'm pretty active and like to keep moving. Having said all this, training full time is intense and I keep things low key during the week. If I sound like the right match, throw me a message :)
Hello hello :-) I'm a friendly, tidy 29yo looking for a place to stay short-term in Melbourne. I've just come back from 7 months backpacking through South America, now I'm going back to the corporate life for a bit to save up for my next trip. I've got a 6-8 week contract at the Dept Health in Melbourne, which could turn into a longer-term thing or could not, so I'm looking for somewhere that will accept me for just two months to start. I cook and I clean (you should try my lemon chicken and baked feta), I love to talk and I'd much prefer a glass of wine over a game of scrabble than a party every weekend. I love to talk travel, current events, and food, and I love cycling. I'll be working a pretty standard 9-5 and I'm happy to hang out or do my own thing as the house goes. I'm deathly allergic to prawns so if they're on your menu every day that's not going to work for me, but other than that I'm open to any food preferences you've got, and any life styles. Gay and trans friendly, happy to live with kids if you've got them. Ideally I'd love a furnished place. I've got nearly all the things but would prefer not to have to transport them down from my Mum and Dad's in NSW. Happy to contribute any car-sized bits of furniture needed (TV, Wii, kitchenware, things...). I also need parking, though I'm fine with legal on-street parking. My job starts on Jan 30 (just confirmed!) so I'm hoping to move next week, or early the week after - I'll be staying with my sister in Brunswick East until then, but TBH I'm not so keen on sleeping on the floor for longer than I have to! Let me know if you'd like to chat - excited to meet you and start the next part of my adventure! Martina :-)
Social and very tidy couple looking for a room. We are moving over from NZ and will both be working full time in Melbourne - In accounting and digital consulting. We are looking forward to exploring the city and going on adventures in the weekend are keen to meet new people :)
I'm a nice, easy going guy who likes music and cycling and works in software development in the city. I like having a beer and a chat and am looking for somewhere quiet, easy going and relaxing to spend a few months while I sort out my personal living situation.
We are easy going, tidy and respectful people. We love to meet new people and have a drink with friends. We have just landed jobs in Melbourne and can't wait to live in the great city. Looking for early Feb. Thanks

Hello I'm Arturo originally from Mexico. I've been living in Australia for more than two years now and have travelled around the world. Recently graduated from The University of Queensland where studied my masters degree. Somehow new to Melbourne and in love with the city, I work full time in the digital industry as UX Developer from 9 am to 5:30 pm. I must admit I'm a geek, unfortunately I don't know how to fix computers. When not at work, I enjoy reading, watching interesting shows and movies, long walks, good excuses to travel, concerts of my fave bands, techno music and peaceful and lazy Sundays. I'm looking for a place (preferably furnished) with no more than 3 people living in it and that I can call home. Besides all the common trades a good flatmate should have, like, cleanliness, friendliness, calmness, pay on time and be respectful, I've also mastered to keep the bathroom floor dry after showering :) same goes with the toilet seat. I am an introvert, which means that sometimes you'll find me in my inner world even with people around me. I like to live in balanced places where we are not strangers and we can share a meal, drinks or a night out from time to time, but where I can also have my own space and privacy when I'm tired. If you like to keep things to yourself it's ok too I won't bother you at all. If I sound like someone you'd like so share a place to live in, get back to me! Cheers!
Hi, I'm Rick, I'm 29 years old. I'm studying a Masters of Urban Planning at Melbourne Uni and currently working full-time for an insurance company (though may shift to part time when semester starts back). Looking for somewhere within a reasonable distance of uni. I have plenty of savings and an excellent credit history and rental history so paying rent/bills will not be an issue. During the week I'm normally pretty busy with various commitments, including trying to get to the gym a few times a week, on some committees and catching up with friends for brunch, dinner, drinks, movies or some live music, riding my bike around, etc. I'm a political junkie (ALP) and an avid music fan (anything that's played on Triple J basically). Because I'm generally pretty busy (especially during semester), I'm generally keen to relax at home and watch some Netflix or read. That said, I'd prefer a social household where I can have a chat, share a meal etc. Well-travelled and hoping to get to Japan soon. Also a frequenter of music festivals (Falls, Boogie, Meredith, Laneway). I've lived in an ace house in Kensington for 5.5 years with friends but unfortunately they've on so and it's time for move on too (*tear*). I'm a conscientious and respectful housemate, and very conscious of keeping common areas clean and tidy. I usually end up doing more than my fair share of cleaning. I love dogs, but sadly don't have one. My fiddle leaf fig is pretty high maintenance though.
I love useless facts but I usually can't memorize them. Looking for nice flatmates who can show me the best of Collingwood and things normal backpackers don't get to see. My ideal day starts with visiting a flea market (I might buy nice and flashy decoration), have a good brekky, take a swim, bbq, go to a music concert and drink a beer next to a campfire. My cooking skills are very average so I can't impress you with a masterchef meal. But I am willing to work on that. I am in Melbourne to work, so little partying for me. Probably drooling over Netflix series when I am home after I socialized.
My name is Matthias, I am 36 years old and originally from Germany. But I spent the last 7ish years mainly in Melbourne and got permanent residency. I am running my own business as consultant for 3D-printing and mechanical engineering but I am also tinkering on another start-up. So I am doing the usual 9 - 5 (+ X) hours in the CBD. I am a social person who loves to have a laugh and enjoys a good banter over a glass of wine. I do like cooking, so a gas stove is a must-have. On the weekends I like to give my bike a spin, catch up with friends for brunch or dinner. At home I am also more of a quiet person. Not much of a party person...anymore. I am interested in technology, sustainability, product & interior design, good food and wine. Over the last 13 years I have lived in multiple share flats in four countries. Respecting others peoples private sphere and the shared spaces should be an mutual understanding. I consider myself as a neat, clean, tidy and a well organised professional...no dishes in the sink. So I am looking for people with similar preferences. To me sharing is about that everyone respects the other, making an effort to keep the shared space clean and tidy to keep it enjoyable for everyone. Last but not least....I do pay my rent and bills on time. Looking forward to meeting you, Cheers Matt
Meet your new French best friend! Really easy to leave with, tidy but not maniac, friendly but not intrusive, serious but always keen for a few beers! I'm starting a second semester of master at the University of Melbourne and am looking to meet some new people with who I can socialize with to benefit from my abroad experience as much as possible. If you have any questions feel free to ask! Cheers
Hi, I'm super-friendly, sociable, easy going and love meeting new people. Originally from Sydney but just finished a lease in North Melbourne while studying. I'm a musician who likes to keep active and try new things. I don't mind nights in and nights out I'm looking for a roommate that's pretty easy going, and friendly.
24 and working full-time in finance. I'm easygoing and enjoy spinning a few records or frisbee in the park. Typically spend weekends out and about with friends and having a boogie, but also enjoy some downtime on the couch watching sport or Netflix. I have plenty of rental history, am considerate of others and always do my bit to keep the home clean and tidy. I'd like to move in early/mid February and would prefer a longer term arrangement of around a year, but this is all flexible. Looking for like-minded, respectful and fun-loving housemates who won’t pass up the odd drink together. Get in touch if we seem like a good fit!
Hi, I'm Hanna! I moved from Norway to Australia about a year ago to study architecture at Melbourne University. When I'm not studying, I like to draw and paint, listen to music, watch movies, swim, and enjoy a night out every now and then. I don't mind having people over, and will usually go to the library if I need to study. I also like to cook and bake vegan food. Don't worry I'm not militant, but If you have a garden/outdoor area I would love to grow some veggies :) Hope to find some friendly and positive house mates (read: future friends) and a home not too far from Uni.
Hey, hope you are well! I am a 20 year old full time worker in media (advertising). Working during the week I won't be home much on weeknights but would love to be social and out and about on the weekends. I'm looking to either team up with another person or move into a place that I can add a little extra personality too. Whilst I like having my own space, it would be great to establish friendships over wine, netflix or overall social activities. I am a neat and tidy person so I will be cleaning after myself wherever I go. Let me know what you think! Happy to catch up over coffee if interested. Otherwise happy housemate hunting! Thanks, Kim :)
Hi! I'm moving to Melbourne in January to start law school at the University of Melbourne. I'm a Canadian/Australian dual citizen, but have spent most of my life in Canada. I chose Melbourne because I fell in love with the city and want to get in touch with my Aussie roots! I studied Chemistry at Queen's University and graduated in June. Most recently I have been living in Düsseldorf, Germany, doing an internship for trivago. I'm a huge travel addict, always dreaming about the next place to visit and where I'd like to move. I'm also a bit of a foodie and like to think I'm a pretty good cook. I'm looking for a flatshare with 1-4 other people starting sometime between January 15th-30th (earlier the better). Ideally I'd like to live with people who are interested in making friends, or at least down to have a good chat over a beer/glass of wine. I wouldn't describe myself as a huge partier but I do like to go out and have fun occasionally, whether its a bar, concert, or just exploring the city. That being said, I will be starting a law degree and expect to be quite busy. Ideally my future flatmates would also be clean, open-minded, reasonably quiet (during weeknights especially) and just generally respectful. Can't wait to move to Melbourne and start this new adventure! Thanks!
I'm housetrained, quiet, respectful and clean. I like my own space but also really enjoy socialising with the people I live with, preferably over a cup of tea, a nice glass of red wine or a cold beer, depending on my mood! I love cooking and whilst I'm not vegetarian I tend to eat that way most of the time. I cook a lot of stuff I find off Facebook and I am happy to share it with you! Superpowers include making messes disappear as if by magic, cuddling puppies, getting good bargains whilst food shopping, dancing around the house To great music and being generally respective of diverse views, beliefs and lifestyles. Hit me up if any of that sounds remotely appealing!
Hey! My name is Melita, I'm 22 years old and about to move down to study composing at the University of Melbourne. I am essentially the aloe vera plant of housemates - zero drama. So if you're looking for someone who pays the bills on time but is also a good ear and a solid friend, swing me a message. I love: writing music for film, going to gigs, steamed pork buns, playing guitar, getting lost in books, cheeky beers, new stationary, earl grey tea, midnight maccas runs, people who are unapologetically themselves. (Don't worry I write music electronically, so you won't have to listen to my B grade piano playing haha). Not too fussed about: country music. I'm looking for a homely, relaxed place to live and make some quality friends, so if you think I'd suit your vibe, please let me know ;)
Hi. I'm a brazilian student who is coming to work with a professor of UniMelb. The length of stay will be four months. I'll arrive in Melbourne in 7 February. If the room is available, I'd like to visit the place. I'm a clean, calm and very organized person. cheers. Guilherme.
I am a hard working 18 year old Australian, I like spaces being clean, love to be social though would respect your space, I do have an outgoing personality and would be love to find a place to call home! At the moment I will be shortly commencing my studies at RMIT (Bachelor of Business - Financial Planning) at the city campus, I will be also working part time at Woolworths, though I also have a couple of business projects that I work on in my spare time. I'm from Bendigo and I'm excited to be moving somewhere closer to the city! For fun I like to go on spontaneous day trips to do something different, hang out with my friends & occasionally enjoy a good read! I would prefer to stay in a place where we aren't complete strangers, but would be willing to respect your space * Would prefer a place that public transport is easily accessible *.
Hi potential flatmates! We're an American-Australian couple that's just moved to Melbourne, looking for some place to live, house or apartment. One of us is a primary school teacher and the other is about to start a master's in urban planning at Melbourne Uni. We like wine and foods and Netflix, and now that I've said that I realize we're actually quite basic. Yay! But seriously, one of us really likes to cook and has dreams of starting a vegetable garden that will mean no more trips to fucking Coles for their surprisingly cheap produce. We're hoping for somewhere with good access to public transport, maybe some outdoor space, character, lighting, possibly a car space. Hit us up if you'd like to look at some places together and navigate this shitty maze that is nailing down a residence in Melbs.
Hi, I'm Llewellyn - Lewy ("Louie") for short. Australian, currently living in Carlton, but have a feeling I'll probably be moving in a couple months. Still wanting to be very close to the CBD for work. Mainly looking within the 1st ring of suburbs surrounding the CBD. I work in Audio/Visual for the events industry - most often in Docklands and do some freelance work as a Sound Recordist with projects for TV, Film or the Web. My down time, when I find it, is usually spent catching up on all the awesome TV shows I watch, going out for food and drink with friends or getting them together for card games/board games. I enjoy cooking at home, listening to music, walking everywhere (and combinations of these, though usually not cooking and walking). Would love to be living with other creatives (for shared passion reasons), events/hospitality/shift workers (for similarity of work lifestyle) and/or fans of relaxing at home with some good TV. I'd say mainly looking for teamups, so we're sharing the adventure of a new place, but happy to come across a good offer from someone already situated.
We are a young couple who are moving to Melbourne from Sydney at the end of January 2017. We are a working couple, following our careers in Engineering and Entrepreneurship. We are both happy, friendly people who have lived in plenty of share houses for the past 6 years. We are social, tidy people who are very interested in making new friends in a new city. We cook a lot at home and love some good banter with the occasional drink.
This is MO looking to find either furnished or unfurnished room around Carlton, Parkville, Brunswick, Fitzroy or any other suburb close to Melbourne uni. Currently I'm doing my master of architecture at the Melbourne university and spend most of my time at uni otherwise at work and when it comes to home, I'm looking to spend my relaxing moment there. I enjoy cooking, and share a good conversation over a glass of wine. I do reading in my spare time, as well as watching movies, hiking in the woods, long walk in city and neighborhood, and sniffing out good coffee and wine. I like to live in a creative environment where people share their lives together and eventually own the place with their creative minds not to nod along on the way of bathroom, and do my best for others to have the same vibe from me. feel free to contact. MO
Hi, I'm Ethan and I'm a 21 year old student from Amsterdam. I'm moving to Melbourne in Feb for an exchange semester at the Uni of Melbourne. I will be searching for a house close to the Parkville Campus with 2+ roommates. I'm social and easy going and love music, sports, going out and hanging out with friends. Please contact me if you're interested to team up or if you have a room available!
Hello ! We are couple coming from San Francisco and Paris. I (Ethel) will be studying in Swinburne University and Kimo will be working. We will be in Australia for around 6 months. We are familiar with Australia as we were both living in Sydney but we are new to Melbourne. We want to make the most of Melbourne and ideally want to find flatmates who we can enjoy with and not just live in the same place. We are clean and tidy and lots of fun on the evening and week-ends but we also like to chill. We enjoy seeing live music, travelling, Kimo likes to cook and we are respectful of the place. Now let's answer the question in everybody's mind : we do not fight :), we've been together for 3 years and we are not one of those annoying couples, we are fun to be around together of separately.
im Brian, I'm a mid 30's youth worker and studying counselling and community services, into cooking, swimming, natural medicine, being social. I also have a car and would need somewhere to park it. I'm clean considerate and tidy. No drugs, smoke free, non drinker. I would be interested in house trained people who are clean and tidy, ok with alone quiet time, mature minded, non smoking house, with no drugs or binge drinking. I prefer to make my own food, I'm a fussy eater. I have all of my own bedroom furniture and a fridge and washer. JJ is a 12 years old black cat, he doesn't scratch furnishings, he has a few scratching posts. He is more of a dog personality as he loves interacting and being friendly. He has loads of toys an is very playful. I'm very flexible, clean and tidy with him. 6 month preferred length of stay possible to stay longer. Let me know if your interested. Cheers, Brian
Hey, I'm 28 and just finished a bachelor of music as a vocalist. I'm currently living in Thornbury, single, and employed full-time in admin. I'm possibly looking to find a 3-4bdrm house with 2 other mid 20s- early 30s housemates. At present, I'm just assessing my options though still keen to meet up. I'm quite independent and introverted (not shy, just need time out to recharge) though I love a casual hang, house dinner or movie night. I'm very conscious and considerate of other people's space and belongings and I expect the same in return. Looking for a space where I can make music without imposing on anyone, open to the possibility of having a schedule. Paying bills and rent before they're due is a high priority for me. Prefer to live with musicians / creatives, also prefer at least one other female. I would love a light filled house with room for a garden as I LOVE spending time with my plants. I thrive in light bedrooms, not so good in dark houses. I am very house proud and very clean - I like to be organised. A peaceful space = a peaceful mind. I have a fair bit of furniture but no fridge or washing machine. Would love to find a place in Thornbury/Northcote, also open to certain parts of Preston, Nth Fitzroy, Nth Carlton, Fairfield, even potentially Ivanhoe, Heidelberg/Bulleen area if it means we get more space and storage and can pay less rent. Not in a huge hurry to move, just looking for the right fit :)
I'm an apprentice hairdresser at a salon/record store on Sydney Rd. I work full time during the week and like to go out on weekends. I play music and am very passionate about the Melbourne music scene. I'm friendly, easy-going and respectful of people's personal space. I'm also clean and tidy but not uptight. Looking to move in ASAP :)
Hello I am Kira, I am a crafty copywriter and grant writer, working in the not-for-profit sector. I also tinker with some freelance projects. I am a vego, and I love sustainable fashion and DIY. I also practice a healing technique called reiki, so that lures the good vibes into the space. I am looking to live with kind and creative like minded people.
I am a bright and charismatic 25 year old, music and movie nerd, working as a cleaner for myself and for a company so rent and bills will not be a problem. What I like to do outside of work, I enjoy listening to some Pink Floyd, Bowie or Zepp (yes this is all stoner music but I am not a stoner I can assure you), playing keyboards and sketching and because it's now that time of the year you will find me going for crazy walks or runs just in time for summer. I like to read, sing, play music, cook, draw and paint and learn about almost anything and very passionate about life. Weekends I enjoy a night outs at gigs or bars generally in Fitzroy and Brunswick, where else? I am very respectable of people's privacy/me time and I am not a loud nor a messy person. My occupation is a cleaner so I like to keep my areas neat and tidy. I do enjoy spending time by myself when I've has a big day at work but I can assure you I'd be one fun housemate! I do like to play music a lot but will happily respect the household if they do not wish for me to play music all the time. I am looking for a mix gender or males, warm, clean home with kind people and vibrant personalities and who's up to have a drink at the end of the week and a hang out. In terms of kind, friendly, neat and everyday motivated and outgoing, I am that person. I hope my description of myself is promising. Many regards :D
Hey how's it going? I'm Claire! I am a 27 year old female who has recently relocated from Bristol, England. I'm a friendly and sociable housemate who is also clean, considerate and tidy. I blog, love photography, music and adventures. I also enjoy exercise and good food / white wine in equal measure. Basically in a nut shell, I wont keep you up all night with wild parties but you will always have someone who is up for going out for wine or cocktails, I smell nice and will clean up after myself and I am always super keen for seeing or doing something new. I've lived in shared houses for years so I'm also respectful of other peoples space, sleep and property. I'm looking to get out of my current living situation ASAP so I'm open to short of longer term rentals so get in touch if you think you have a good fit! Cheers! :)
Originally from Europe, we're both very clean about our living, outgoing, open for everything new, interested in music, horse riding, surfing, ping-pong etc. I'm a full time photographer and Holger is a full time student / working a PhD in marine biology. We appreciate good food, great company, nice wine, all sorts of beautiful culture and arts. Ideally, the place should have a closet / double size bed / and maybe a working desk. Staying for a longer period would be preferred. We are only looking in Collingwood / Fitzroy area! Much love :)
Friendly, Social and love just relaxing for a few with friends! Moving to Melbourne with one of my best friends from New Zealand, lived in Aus before and now back to earn money and have a good time! If you are a person looking for a single room ask for a team up! easier to get a three bedroom house then a two!
I'm an architecture student from the University of Melbourne currently taking time away from study to work full time in an architectural practice. I'm a social, friendly and open guy as well as clean and considerate and hope to live with like-minded people. I'm passionate about what I do but couldn't do it without coffee, wine, movies and good laughs.
I am a 25 y.o. accountant working in South Melbourne. I tend to keep to myself but I am always up for a bit of banter over beers. I do enjoy my night life but did someone say games night? I cook and clean and I am pretty handy around the house (usually fix technological issues around the house). I love to binge on TV shows whilst smashing my dinner and sitting there until I realise I have achieved nothing tonight. I attempt to be active regularly by playing basketball once a week and trying to get into the gym a few times a week. Although I am shy at first, I am very easy to get along with. I am quite chilled and usually up for whatever. Looking for flat mates that are sociable but don't intrude. Looking for a place preferably with a parking spot. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
I'm a 22 year old, full-time gal who enjoys outdoor activities, reading and cooking. Always up for a cup of tea/glass of wine and a chat. I'm both outgoing and easygoing, and have lived in sharehouses before (so know the drill).
Hi I'm Chelsea I'm interested in the room you have available. A bit about myself; im 20 and working full time in the city as a chef. I'm very organised so bills and rent won't be a problem at all. I'm hoping to move into somewhere asap and I'm looking to stay 6 months +. I've had experience in share houses before so I understand the responsibilities of cleaning up after myself, my room and the rest of the house. My hours are a bit all over the place so I'm in and out of the house at different times during the week but I'm not loud and very respectful of others at night and early in the morning. I'm very easy going and easy to get along with, I like to socialize and chat away about how the day has gone but also like my alone time to chill out. Hope I fit the part and hear back from you, thanks!
I grew up living in rural Victoria, recently graduated from a boarding school in Ballarat. Wanting to move to Melbourne for 6-7 months before my Uni course in Adelaide starts in July 2017. Living in a boarding house has allowed me to grow respect for other's belongings, space and needs, so I feel I would be a valuable asset in a prospective share house. I enjoy cooking, reading, watching movies, hockey, netball and swimming.
HI there! My husband and I are moving to Melbourne from Texas, USA on 24 January and are looking for a furnished apartment/share. I currently work in architecture designing schools and will be researching with the University of Melbourne for the year. My husband will look for work and/or travel around the country. We are avid travelers (Australia will be continent #7!) who love good food and good coffee - both of which Melbourne is known for! We have both lived in shared houses in the past and love meeting new people. We are flexible with term and would like to stay in one place at least 3 months up to 11 months or a year. We prefer a private bathroom and keep our rent and bills to less than $300pw
I'm josh a 30yo guy who works full time in retail. I grew up in Newcastle and moved down to Melbourne from Sydney 5 or so years ago. Im clean and love cleaning and I'm easy as to live with, I like cooking, chilling out and having a good Central Otago Pinot with some friends. (The quiet things). I do go out from time to time but I'm definitely not a party boy. Those days are well done.I like any type of music, if I can dance to it. I have recently separated from my boyfriend so I'm looking for a place to call home for 3+ months to permanent.
I'm well independent. Very clean, tidy and a great company for chats, dining and drinks. Love trying out new restaurants and cafes a bit of a foodie - definitely that type who would instagram my food plus I do love food photography and I'm hoping to make a career out of it. I'm a barista and photographer by trade. Can make you a cup of coffee or an espresso martini anytime, any day. I'm doing personal growth thing and have decided to move to Melbourne from the Gold Coast. I have visited Melbourne a handful of times and I fell in love with the city. I'm looking for a room with preferable my own bathroom and a secure carpark. I have some furniture and a coffee machine that I'll be bringing with me. Ideal flat mates would be sociable people but respects privacy as well. We can chat and party if need be or watch Netflix docu or chick fliks cause we can. I'll be focusing on my health and career once I move to Melbourne so it would be nice to settle in a cool place with you all.
Hi there :) I've just moved to Melbourne to start a job with a publishing company and am looking for a a place to call home. I'm from Brisbane originally but have spent the last 2 years living and working in Edinburgh.I am really easy to live with and get along with pretty much anyone. Am very tidy (but never a dick about it). I love travel, music, books, and having a pretty active life, always want to be out doing different things/trying something new. Would love to find a place that feels like home, and although I have my own things going on (I like to keep busy), would be great to live with people who would like to have a glass of wine and a chat every now and then. So much better to live with someone you can call a friend! Cheers, Alice :)
Looking to move out ASAP. Originally from Perth I have been living in Melbourne for almost 2 years and am currently studying full time at uni. Hi there, I work 4 days a week as a dental nurse and also run my own business as an event florist! In my down time I love to cook and going on adventures with my dog. I'm a bit of a homebody and don't own a TV but do love watching series online or using the SBS and iview apps! I have a cat and a dog, both of whom are apartment trained and love a good snuggle! Ask me anything else you'd like to know :-) Kindly, Lou
I live, love and play aerial circus and thus Nicolas and I would be delighted to live near the Carlton/port Melbourne area to be near my circus space and my work. I am tidy, adore great wine and great conversation and out and about often.
Hi everybody. I'm a 24 year-old part-time student and wine-selling person. I'm currently doing my Masters in Social Policy at Melbourne Uni. I've lived in sharehouses in Carlton and Fitzroy North in the past and want to live somewhere northside again. I'm keen on basically anywhere north of the city but south of Bell St. Budget is ~$170/week max and on-street parking and a reasonably nearby train or tram are musts. I'd be most interested in living with other people around my own age. I'd also consider starting a new share house with 2-3 other people - preferably young professional and/or other grad students
Hi everyone, This is Ali. I teach International Business at RMIT University and also do research. During the last 7 years, I've been living in various share houses with people coming from different backgrounds among different ages and I'm familiar with sharehouse lifestyle. I do exercise regularly, it's been a while I do yoga, Tai Chi, walking and also swimming. I do like cooking and prefer to cook at home and would be happy to share a weekly meal with my future housemates. I prefer to live with people who care about keeping the place clean and I'm happpy to do so. I'm not only looking for a bedroom but also for people who like to communicate in their free time. Please contact me if you think we can get along.
Easy going, neat and tidy. Not a party animal, so minimal noise in house. Good with pets.
Hey, My name's Andrea, going on 23 and from Norway. I am currently studying psychology and geography at Melbourne Uni (2nd year), and between that and work I keep pretty busy during the week. I'm a responsible, open-minded and social person, keen to share meals and drinks every now and then, but also very independent and respectful of space. I spend my free time with friends, exploring Melbourne and surroundings, working out, I'm also a major foodie and absolutely love traveling. I'm looking for a sharehouse with 1-4 other people starting from January 22nd, the earlier the better. Ideally I'd like to live with people who are up for a good chat over a meal or drinks from time to time, and who are also quite relaxed, open-minded, clean and generally respectful of others. And of course keen to make the sharehouse a home! Hope to hear from you, thanks!
Hello! I am a Canadian student going on exchange to the University of Melbourne for a semester and I will be needing accommodations between February 15th to June 30th! Clean and tidy, fun and easy-going, very chill. I enjoy watching movies and TV, video games, cooking (eating), and having a good time. While I'll be focusing on studying and will be looking for part-time work, I will always be up for sharing a meal and/or drink and going out for adventures! I am a non-smoker, but smoking is okay. I am also fine with pets!
We are neat, tidy, friendly people who are looking for short term accomodation until we can work out our own rental. I am studying nursing and my partner is working as a carpenter and we will be spending the other half of our time exploring Melbourne as we have just moved over from Perth.
After spending the summer at home on the Surf Coast, I'm moving back up to Melbourne to study and work. In my spare time I surf, play footy, and enjoy hanging with friends and scouting out music. Cheers Tenz
Hey y'all! I'm Brittany from Texas! I'm friendly and love meeting people, but I'm not really a partier. I'm 30 years old and am clean and considerate. I'll be in Melbourne until late March and will work while I'm in town. I have a blog about travel and dessert-- so I love going on adventures and checking out all the new spots for freakshakes and doughnuts. :)
