Hi there! I'm Héloïse, a 22-year-old Master student studying Communications and Marketing in Paris :). I just moved to Melbourne for the whole year: I'm studying a semester at University of Melbourne and then I want to do an internship here to have a professional experience in an english speaking country. I'm looking for a 12 months accommodation. I'm a joyful and tidy person who loves travelling, running, watching good films as well as Harry Potter, Lord of the Ring, GOT, going out with my friends, socializing... I always have a smile on my face and laugh a lot (you will soon discover that I have the most funny laugh on earth ahaha!). I like to do my own things but I also search housemates I can be friends with and do what friends usually do: drink a glass of wine in the evening (or maybe more like four or five glasses #frenchpeoplestyle), share meals, cook together and go out together on the weekends. Hope to hear from you very soon!
Hi! I am Jimmy, from Spain. I have been traveling for the past 4 years, working for an Australian travelling company (Contiki) and exploring every continent by myself, but now it's time to move to Australia! I am here to study (audio engineering), but I have to work too to be able to comfortably support myself. The diploma is 7 months, so that would be my minimum stay, but I might stay a couple of months more.. it depends! I love music, I love people and I love outdoor activities. I am active, positive, super easy going, honest, real. I am almost native in english so no communication problems. I am responsible and old enough (29 years old) to know what respect and social behaviour is, and I expect the same in return. I am looking for modern, fully furbished accomodation, with not more than 2-3 people to share the flat with, not far from public transport and with aircon/heater in the rooms! If you would like to know anything else about me, don't bother asking!
After almost 2 months travelling, and after my last 5 months living in Melbourne, I came back here for a new job and a stable accommodation from 3 weeks to 3 months for now, but I might stay here until April in next year. I am easy going, open minded, tidy, clean, clam, friendly... I love to meet different people from different countries, I prefer my future flat mates are English speakers, chilling together, like watching movies, listening musics, cooking and dinner together sometimes, also they will have to be clean, would like to clean in the common areas after used, thanks!
What's up People I'm Marco, I'm looking for a shared house and nice people to live with. About me I can tell you that I love to cook a lot and ride my bike everywhere, listen to music and play it, one passion I have is to talk about physics/universe and psicology/spirituality aaaand I work in the hospitality industry, obviously I sound like a very normal person...but I'm not hahaha!! I love to travel and I can offer free language lessons in Italian, Spanish and a little bit of Portuguese and French. I play the drum but don't worry never too late or too early and I play it good ;) I'm very respectful of housemates spaces and I'm clean, I've got a lot of experience sharing houses around the world. I'm very keen as well to team up with anybody, hopefully before the 2nd of August, which is when I'll leave the house where I'm living now.
Hi there! Currently in a temporary apartment but looking to move in a new place by Sept 10. I'm a working professional for 8 years in Hong Kong and have just moved to Melbourne for my master study. I'm both outgoing (ie. sporty) and enjoy the peaceful moments at home (ie. a movie). Food and wine lover but not into parties and don't smoke. I'm in building planning industry so would be quite specific for what I'm looking for - in a leafy and airy area but walking distance to cafes and restaurants, spacious (both living room and bedroom) with study desk, neat and tidy, large windows with plenty of sunlight (ie. north-facing room). For now I'm thinking to rent just 3 months. Open to look for female flatmate(s) sharing similar habit / value. Love animals but prefer a dog than a cat if she has one. ;D
I am a grad student at Melb Uni, and my partner is a grad student at Monash. We are looking for a place for our 2 years in Melbourne (may extend more).

Enjoy checking out melbourne on the weekends. • Always pay my bills on time, Respect and understand household structure, lived in many house shares in Australia and overseas. • Active with sports, touch Rugby, training for Melb marathon. Unwind with TV, love live music, surfing. • Hope to find the right place to live, stay long term, call it home and make some friends. Any questions, just ask. Cheers Nick
Hi there, my name's Matthias, 25 y/o, international student from Berlin spending one semester at Melbourne University and taking classes in Communication and Political Science. I consider myself to be an easy going, considerate, relaxed housemate and have lived in flat shares for the last five years, so I know the do's and don'ts. I love traveling (that's part of the reason why I'm here), cooking, trying (veg.) foods from all over the world and will probably pick up some sport while I'm here. I like it quiet at times but hardly ever say no to a coffee or beer and a chat. I'm also into languages, so if any of my future housemates are keen on practicing French or Spanish - I'm in! I'll be in Melbourne until early December. Seeking to move in asap. So if you're interested, don't hesitate to contact me!
I've house shared for the better part of ten years so I feel this has left me with a pretty keen awareness of the general do's and dont's of sharing protocol. I hold a permanent job and am always reliable with rent, very respectful of common areas and really like to make a place feel like a home (... the occasional meal, drink, chat together, that type of thing). I'd describe myself as warm, with a dark, self-deprecating sense of humour, an extroverted introvert insofar as being quite outgoing and social, but also needing quite a bit of downtime to retreat and decompress. Food-wise, I generally fend for myself most days but love to cook for the house when the occasion calls ... I cook 100% vego but that's largely because I-just-fucking-love-vegetables / have sub-optimal meat cooking abilities. I work for the public service in multicultural affairs, though I'm just about to drop to 3 days a week to start studying my first undergrad degree at Melbourne Uni. I am very food orientated, enjoy cooking, and eating my way through Melbourne's cafes and restaurants, and I've also been learning how to swing dance for the last year. I've also recently jumped onto the podcast bandwagon (S Town, This American Life, Radiolab, et al ... ) Finally, I also have a cat named Brian: a devastatingly handsome, affable tabby. He will enthusiastically headbutt you to indicate affection. He lives outdoors by day and on my bed of an evening ... may or may not have a few memes made in his honour (provided upon request).
My name is Diego I'm 27 years old from Colombia living in Melbourne from the last three years I'm a full time chef working in lygon street. l'm easy going, clean and I like Share occasionally a glass of wine or a meal in my day off with they people that I live with, I'm pretty organised, respectful and I have a really high sense of responsibility paying bills and rent.
Hi! My name is Chelsey and I'm from New York. I'm currently in Australia on a working holiday visa and I absolutely love it here! I work in hospitality, but at a cafe so no crazy hours! I'm a pretty quite person but also very sociable. I enjoy a good Netflix and wine session and occasionally having friends over, but I am very understanding of roommate boundaries. I've lived with a handful of roommates so I know what to expect. I'm also a pretty tidy person so no worries with me cleaning up! Hoping to find a roomie that is pretty similar to me, but only looking for a place to stay from September - March!
Hey future housemate, it's me, Nicolas. I am 23 years old and I study Chemical Engineering in Germany but now I am finally here - in lovely Melbourne - ready for my exchange semester at Unimelb and my internship afterwards. I grew up in Colombia but my parents are German-Colombians, so culturally speaking I am sort of a mix of both countries. I have lived for 5 years in Germany in a shared flat, so I know how it works and I know what it means respecting others personal space and sharing the house duties. As to me, I am absolutely into having great conversations and doing some sport (and of course dancing Latin American Music ;) )or just hang out a little bit and chill. And if you would like to practice your Spanish or German, let's go.
Hey lovely People, my Name is Kimi and I'm 23 years young. I'm from Berlin in Germany, open minded, spontaneous, clean and organized (it's probably a typical German thing), calm but also open for fun and I love to cook. Unfortunately I work a lot, so you will not see me a lot. xx
I'm orginally from the Gold Coast but I've spent the past 6 years living in New York and San Francisco. I just moved to Melbourne (never lived here before!) and am looking to live with one other person. I spend my time eating all the things, taking day trips away, attempting to find parks to run/exercise in, guzzling a nice amount of wine on weekends (and maybe a cheeky bevy during the week). I also love hosting dinner parties here and there and am super into watching stand up comedy. I love being around people but also appreciate down time (especially in the mornings). Looking for someone who feels the same way. Would be great to find a roomie who's into similar things but no biggie if not. Oh and I'm the one on the left. Feel free to add me on social if you wanna know more!
Looking for a new place to stay during my exchange, starting around mid-august! About me: Small town French Canadian early retired sexologist 28-year-old gay law student based in Montreal. I’m responsible, organized, and respectful of people’s space. Having been a counselor for a while, I don’t shy away from real talks and good connections. I also like to go out and dance from time to time. Oh, and I like biking and volleyball. Kind of household: I am quite sociable and I hope to spend some time with my new roommates. However, I kinda like/need my sleep and privacy, so I don’t think a busy or party house would be the best fit. Animals = sure. People around my age = yas. Quick witted spirits = damn right. Gardening extraordinaires = yes please. Hit me up, Brenda!
Hi, I'm an international student from Poland (but originally studying in London) staying in Melbourne for a year (I'm on an exchange programme). I will study at Melbourne Uni and looking for a nice place to spend a year. In general I am quiet but friendly and fun, I like having fun as much as I like a day-in. Not a crazy party goer, even after a night out I always come home quietly ;) I love pets, clean up after myself constantly (I have siblings so everyting that is left laying around is automatically lost). I can cook! I'm handy and creative. And most important - I'm always happy to make new friends :D
Hi everybody, I'm Luzie, 21 years old and an international student from Berlin. I'm going to study at Melbourne University for one semester. For that time I'm looking for a furnished room, especially in areas close to the university. I'm an easy going, friendly and independent person. In my free time I always enjoy meeting friends, going out, or having a nice evening at home. Besides that, I like doing sports (I've played tennis for a long time and thinking about starting that again; I also like going for a run or do spinning). And I enjoy food in all its variations. ;) I would love to live together with 1-3 other people. So, feel free to contact me if you have any questions or want to know more.
What up fine folks of Melbourne! My name's Sal, and i'm teaming up with my buddy Nathan to look for a 2-bedroom sort of long-term lease situation. I'm studying to finish a Master's degree at RMIT, and my weeks otherwise have me busy with part-time work as a Copywriter. Nathan is a fella who's likewise busy with work and his enterprise – so that pretty much makes the two of us busy urban types who are looking for a place we can look after, and call a home. If you're a home owner looking to fill a lease for a minimum of a year, or a current tenant with vacancy to fill 2 private rooms, we'd love to get in touch, get to know yas a little better, and arrange for an immediate viewing. Thanks for giving this a read – hope to hear from you soon!
Alex here. I'm writing my PhD in international relations and tutoring undergrads at Uni of Melbourne. I am from the UK/ NZ and have lived in Australia for 2 years. I've just returned to Melbourne from a big overseas research trip, and am looking for a long-term place to call home. Something 6 months+ in a Melbourne inner-city suburb is ideal. I'd like to be able to walk or bike ride to the university campus within 20-30 minutes. A bit about me: I like films/ cinema outings, reading, learning Arabic, hiking, camping, wine, beer, cheese... I enjoy conversations about politics/ IR, sociology, psychology, religion, science, films, books - most things, really! My schedule is kind of ridiculous - I work a lot - so I'm sadly not the best fit if you are wanting to create a super social house, but can still commit to 2-3 evenings a week for housie activities. I'd be happiest living with like-minded people who are politically progressive, working, and 25 years+. Bonus if you would be up for the ocassional cinema/gig/comedy outing or going hiking together! I'd be extremely happy to live with a dog. Admin-y things: I'm a non-smoker, financially secure, good with kids, very dog friendly but allergic to cats. I own bedroom furniture already, but I can sell it if absolutely necessary. I also travel interstate and overseas fairly regularly.
I'm easy-going, friendly and clean. Employed professionals, who works full-time. Looking for a place for 6months as I'm planning to move overseas. If you would like to know more about me. Please feel free to contact me.
I would a great person to live with as I'm clean, organised and love being social! I enjoy going out but also chilling at home and respecting others' space. I am looking to find a place with a couple of people. I work full time in real estate but will be doing a masters next year in the city so will be working part-time.
