Hi Everyone! In mid/late-September 2018, my housemates and I will end our lease together on what has been an awesome home in the heart of Preston. While we’re all moving in different directions, I’m looking to stick around either the Inner North/Northside up to Reservoir, or somewhere close-ish to Carlton/Parkville with the hope of securing a private room with some quality like-minded people in a shared home. I’m currently a full-time PhD student at Unimelb researching medication to manage behaviour in health settings, and I also work there part-time on a variety of research projects relating to mental health and the law. Additionally, I produce electronic music (with headphones on mostly) and very occasionally throw down a few tracks here and there in darkened clubs and festivals around the place. In a home, I look for a warm, friendly, respectful vibe with open communication and value people who generally care about the world and themselves. A bit more about me: 39, male, non-smoker, creative, LGBTQIA+ friendly, tidy, introverted-ambivert (i.e. social, yet values alone-time), and mellow. Interests: music, foreign/indie films with a touch of sci-fi, health & well-being, cooking, gardening, bicycles, art/design generally. I don’t have any pets, but I think dogs and other animal companions are ace. Thanks for reading and good luck with your searches!
I'm Romy, I'm 22 and looking for a place to call home. I am currently working part-time in hospitality but am looking for a full time or second job. I'm not really keen on living in a party house but I'm happy to have a few wines and celebrate special occasions. I'm clean and small so I don't take up much space. I like clothes, pilates, dance, being creative, food, movies, reading, podcasts, trashy reality tv and animals (but don't have any)
*Time period for the stay is flexible, 3 weeks minimum from 3rd Sep. I'm quiet, considerate, always pay on time, clean up after myself and am experienced in share housing. Moving from Perth to Melbourne on September 3rd. Will be new to the city, hoping to make some friends. Working in the fitness industry, so I like to keep active (but I do love my chocolate :p). I enjoy rock climbing, travel, dancing like an idiot, food in general and trying new things.
**I'm available to move out ASAP** I'm 25, in my final year studying Nursing and I am a Disability Support Worker. I'm a pretty quiet/laid back person. Always up for a chat over coffee/wine/beer/food. I like having some time to myself but I don't plan to be an invisible housemate. I always clean up after myself, especially in communal areas as I understand what that can get like. I've lived in share housing for the last 2 years. Love a good movie or TV show and listening to music quietly (and I have a small record collection). I cook when I have the time between studying and working. I don't smoke and don't have any pets. I'm looking for housemates who are nice, easy going, not party animals, relatively clean and LGBT+ friendly (and friendly in general). Please send me a message if you have any questions at all!

I described my self as a neat, clean, respectful and peaceful person. In my own time, I would love to cook, practice yoga, watch a movie, coffee-hopping and visit a gallery or just laying on the grass. I love bread, sunset, sunrise, and doughnut too much. Can't help myself. Interested in art, design, photography, traveling, health and well being.
Hey guys, I'm originally from Brazil, been living overseas for the last 13 years and Melbourne is now home. I’m a Personal Trainer and work full time between most mornings and a few evenings. Around the house, I'm very clean, tidy and considerate of other people's privacy. I enjoy sharing a glass of wine and a meal every now and then but mostly happy to do my own thing. I’m looking for a quiet house as I start very early most mornings. As for hobbies, I love cooking, reading, exercising, going out for dinner and drinks with friends, to watch a movie or a play / exhibition / comedy show. If you think we would get along, please send me a message and I’m more than happy to answer any questions you may have before booking in an inspection. Cheers Shirley
Hey, I'm James and I'm looking for some cool people to live with! I just finished a degree in electrical engineering in Brisbane and plan on studying psychology next year in Melbourne. I'm sociable, tidy, respectful, and looking to make some new friends in a new city. I like to hang out but also respect alone time. I love producing music and playing guitar and really enjoy jamming with other people.
My name is Erin and I am a 29 year old Canadian woman who has been in this wonderful city for the past year two and a half years. I am a full time law student at the University of Melbourne and so my main priority here is to study, however I can also be quite social. I tend to study early in the mornings and then I am out of the house all day at the the Uni, working at a family law firm, or interning once a week at an employment law firm. If I do anything on the weekends beside read too many cases typed in small print, I will tend to have a drink at a pub, go for a bike ride, hang out at one of the amazing cafes this city has to offer or catch a movie at Nova Cinema. As of late I am not much of a drinker (due to Uni :(:( ) but I do love a nice glass of wine or 3 and good chat. I like to keep active either riding my bike, moonlighting from time to time at a yoga class, and I am always up for a hike! My interests include; current affairs, the arts, philosophy, cuisine and travel, environmentalism and social justice. I graduate in December, so I am looking for a place to settle in long term and call home. I do not want a place to merely rest my head at night, but a real home, with great, smart, interesting, kind people whom I am hoping I can create some more community with as I transition from full time student to full time lawyer.
I'm a Canberran who has just moved to Melbourne to pursue new work and lifestyle opportunities. Just starting work in the Victorian public service. I lead a fairly low-key lifestyle at home though I do enjoy nights out (dinners, movies, drinks, occassional dancing). Travel, hiking, running, yoga, reading, movies are all fine by me!
Hello! My name is Maria Luisa, I'm 20 years old and I'm from Brazil. I've been in Melbourne for about three days. I'm studying English at afternoons and soon I'll be looking for a job. I am a very easy going person with anyone that is not prejudiced with others. I like to watch movies, tv shows and in Brazil I was studying movie-making. I need accomodation from August 25th to February 2th. I'm a quiet person when I have to be, I'm here to explore the city, learn about the Australian culture and make new friends. I'm clean and organized, and I'm up to do anything that is necessary. I'm looking for a bed or room in a cozy house or apartament, that is close to the city or close to public transportation.
Currently studying a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand but intending on studying Pharmacy at Monash University in Parkville next year (2019), hence looking for a flat with new mates that has great chats! Some pros of flatting with me include tidiness/cleanliness and great chats but will give privacy when needed. I'm particularly into basketball, cooking, fashion and music of all sorts! Message me for more info!!
I am Matias, from Argentina, I'm 27 years old. Came here with the W&H Visa and got a full time job as a business analyst in digital marketing (although I'm an Industrial Engineer). I want to share a house with nice people and make friends, have a good time and enjoy the good vibe of Melbourne. I like soccer, traveling, music, talking, sharing a beer, going out, basically enjoy almost any plan. Happy to be here and willing to meet you people :)
Hey, I have just moved back to Aus after spending 18 months abroad in London working as a nanny. I am planning on moving to Melbourne within the next month working as a florist. I am clean and tidy, enjoy a lazy day in or going out for dinner and drinks.
Both in Hospo, a couple of easy going lads who have a self-proclaimed great chat and love a beer or 9. both love a bit of fitness and stay active but never take things too seriously... Jays a kiwi and sep is from Manchester
I'm a scooter-riding English pastry chef working full time in Northcote. I have a smoochy tabby called Konrad who'll be moving with me - he spends plenty of time outdoors, or asleep around the house (mostly in my room). I tend to keep it low key during the week thanks to my long hours (I usually start at 6am), and my weekends are Sundays and Mondays when I usually go out for a boogie. I'm looking for a long term home with people who don't mind hanging out & having drinks or dinners from time to time. I can bring a home a steady supply of bread and pastries, plus coffee beans and cheeses. I also have some furniture to bring along!
We are Andrew & Celine. Andrew is from Melbourne, working in employee mental and physical health (wellbeing) full time. A lover of travel, all food made with love and coffee geek. Céline is from Berlin, on a Working Holiday Visa. She loves Yoga and spends most of her time out and about + studying for her Yoga Teacher Training. We're both really easy going people, very open-minded and always happy to meet new people.
I am an editor and writer working at Deakin University (city). I also do a few volunteering activities. I've lived with lots of people at various times in Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin and Brisbane and am properly house trained. I'm into cooking, reading and cinema and very keen on a place with a veggie patch in particular though I could live without one given the many potted plants I will bring with me.
I'm quiet but have sociable habits. I'm intelligent, can be chilled and happy to give people their own time and space, or happy to cook for others every now and then (nothing fancy) and enjoy a brunch or dinner together, to go out for a drink or meal. I love friendly, happy dogs, so am happy to consider moving in with someone who has a dog, and will even walk it or dog sit when you go away. I travel a bit with work, and from now onwards this might increase to weekly trips, so you could possibly have the place to yourself 2-3 days per week. As well as a full time job coaching business owners, I'm currently getting a business idea off the ground which means I'll be spending a lot of time with my head in a computer. The ideal flatmate, really!
Hi Everyone I'm moving back to Melbourne to start a new job after nearly two years living interstate and overseas. I'll be working full time as a lawyer at an environmental organisation. I'm 30 and have lived in many share houses in my time, so am well house trained! I'm looking for a share house that is friendly and respectful. I like to share a glass of wine or cup of tea after work, but am also quite independent. Interests wise, I like reading, the odd Netflix binge and am looking forward to settling back into Melbourne! Cheers Emily
I'm a mexican student doing my masters at Melbourne Uni. I love rock climbing (a lot), animals, being outside (unless it's cold) and watching movies/ tv shows. I am vegan, but I don't mind living with omnivores. I consider myself to be a chill person, but I do like living in a nice, clean and tidy place. I am also very respectful and easygoing. I'm just looking for a place were I can relax and be happy :)
