I am an international student, I am here to do my masters. I am neat person and like to keep my surrounding clean. I am looking for a quiet place to live. Up for a occasional chat. At the same time believes in giving privacy and expect the same. Hope to gear soon from you. (:
Hi, this is Una from South Korea. I am full-time PhD student in Monash. I am clean, tidy and like maintaining a common area well-organized. I will spend most of the time in the uni to study and to workout. I also prefer to spend my time listening music, watching Netflix, cooking, reading, and traveling sometimes. I believe respecting others' value and privacy is more than essential. But it will be greater if we build a comfortable relationship and chill out together sometime with wine or beer. ★ I will be in Melbourne on 6th Feb★ Before the arriving, please contact me by the online message. Cheers.
I work full time as a qualified landscaper, I’m a respectful, clean and organised person, I pride myself on being reliable. Most of the time you would either find me at work, or at the gym. I enjoy good conversations, and meeting new people. I’m a very social and easy going guy who would enjoy hanging out with others over a couple drinks or binge watching Netflix on a quiet night in, Im also very considerate of other people’s need for space. I’m hoping to find a place I can call home with great likeminded people for a long term.
Hi! I'm Bri, a full time Pastry Chef currently working at a hotel in Albert Park. I generally work the breakfast shift (5am - 1pm) monday to friday but occasionally (rarely) work a night shift. I am a relatively quiet person, I love getting to know people and watching movies/shows or playing board games! I love reading, watching movies/shows (slightly obsessed with Marvel, murder mysteries and animation, quite the mix I know), looking for new places to eat or things to do. I do have a netflix account which I am more than happy to share. I also love cooking for myself and others. I definitely keep my area clean, and I am always happy to split household chores with everyone! Move in date is flexible, not set on feb 1st :)
Easy going, clean and tidy person, career driven, enjoys a social night as well as relaxed nights in. I currently work full time in customer service I live in west Melbourne and am looking to move out of home for the first time. For fun I enjoy going out with friends, going to the beach and going on weekend adventures to different places around Melbourne.
Hey! I'm a part-time uni student and part-time waitress. I currently live at home (in Melbourne) with my family but feel it's time to venture out on my own. I'm a bit of a neat freak but also easy going, so hopefully that balances out? Outside of being scared that I'll forever be a student :p I enjoy playing hockey, drinking coffee and eating chocolate. P.S. I've never had a pet so if you have one, I'll already be sold.
Hi there! I'm Harriet and my partner's name is Mike, we are an English couple over in Australia on a working holiday visa. We have already been here for 15 months, so have about another 8/9 left before we have to leave (which we are very sad about). Myself and Mike are super easy going and friendly and we love meeting new people. Ideally we would love to share a house with a few others around a similar age to us as we like to socialise with our housemates to make the house feel like a nice home environment. We are moving back to Melbourne after having lived there for 6 months, attempted to leave but realised we loved it too much and are now returning. Neither of us has a job at the moment as we have not moved back to Melbourne yet, but we both have contacts in Melbourne which would mean finding work will not be hard (so don't let that put you off!). In our spare time we enjoy hiking, rock climbing, socialising either over a few drinks and dinner at home, going out for some good coffee or exploring some of Melbourne's great bars!
I am a really friendly, out going person and love meeting new people! I am also very tidy. I have lived away from home before, so i know what is expected of me as a housemate. I am currently completing my Cert 3 and 4 in Personal training, i am also training as a Yoga Teacher and am a netball coach too.
Coming to Melbourne on 8th February to pursue my post-graduation from Monash University as an International student from Chandigarh, India. A studious, soft-spoken and well-behaved person with respect for every person and their privacy. Maintains good cleanliness.
Hi there! I'm a 21 year old student from Sydney relocating to Melbourne to study Communication Design. Would prefer to live with other friendly students. Looking for a place within around 3 - 12km of the CBD. My strengths include being reliable and considerate. Will definitely clean up after myself and willing to share the responsibility of housework. I am quiet, a non-smoker and definitely not a party animal - looking to share a house with people who also have these qualities. However, would love to find housemates I can become friends with and chill together sometimes! Hopefully be able to share the occasional meal, go out for drinks, or even just stay in for a movie night. Most of my spare time will probably be spent trying new recipes, reading, watching tv shows/movies, going to the gym, and exploring Melbourne. :)
Hi there! I'm Alex, 23, and I'm moving back to Melbourne after a few years abroad to begin my Masters at Melbourne Uni. I'm friendly, tidy and sociable, I've been living in house shares for the past five years so I'm very well house trained. I'm looking for a private room in a share house within 30-40mins of the city. I lived in Melbourne a few years back so I am pretty familiar with the city. I will be studying full-time and will be looking for part-time work once I find a place in Melbourne. I'm happy to live with anyone of any age or background. I'm always up for a chat or a drink, but I do enjoy my own space and I'm very respectful of that of others. My budget is somewhat flexible, around $200 p/w, and that would ideally included some furnishings and bills. Feel free to send me a message or give me a call at any time. Thanks! :)
I am an outgoing, friendly and sociable person. I am clean and tidy and although like to be social, also like and appreciate my own privacy and will definitely respect yours! I enjoy music, watching crime documentaries and a few sneaky drinks every now and then! I am a non smoker and do not touch drugs of any sort. I am ideally looking to share only with one other person in the house if possible.
Hi there! My name is Jen. I'm a 34 yr old professional looking for a like-minded flatmate to share a new space with. I recently started a new job in St Kilda, so want to move closer to that area and looking for someone who wants to look for a new place, too (Or an established home that suits). I'm not home a lot as I work pretty long hours, have a house full of furniture (sans washing machine, or whatever you need in your room), and two lovely cats who are exceptionally loving and friendly. Their sort of like puppies in cat suits! I'm very easy-going, love to travel, play board games and have a chill old time. I'm not the kind of person who plays loud music until all hours of the night, so totally open to living with a shift worker. I am clean and tidy, but not a neat freak. I don't mind if the dishes get stacked and then a load done in the dish washer, I don't mind if you put your library of eclectic books in the living room, or leave your scarf on the couch. Honestly, we're both paying for the space, feel free to live in it. That being said, I think there's a nice balance between 'lived in' and 'outright messy'. I'm a great communicator, so always open to chats and talking about whatever comes up. You will also get the house to yourself from time to time while I'm visiting my BF in the US.
I work as a waitress currently but also have experience in administrative work, looking at going to uni in 2019 to study architecture. I love to keep myself busy with seeing friends, going to the gym, work/study, and going out but at home I'm pretty quiet and love to relax. I love to meet new people and chat but also will be respectful of privacy & space. Ideally looking for another female to find a nice, clean apartment with & spilt costs, or to join an all girls sharehouse. Not too fussy where I end up as long as it's close to a trainline (need easy access to the CBD for work) and a good gym/shops etc nearby. Moving out of home due to how long it takes to get to the city (1.5+ hours).
Hi there! My name is Marcie and I'm obsessed with art. That's why I'm keen to move from Brisbane to Melbourne and be engulfed by the culture and creative community over there. I'm a very clean, respectful and polite housemate who loves to cook. The social aspect of share houses is very appealing to me too, as I love to be around people. At the moment I work full time hours at an ALH pub and plan to get a transfer to Melbourne, so I would have a job as soon as I get down there. I'm also about to start a dual Arts/Fine Arts degree at Monash (Caulfield campus). For fun I like to read, make art and go to gigs. Can't wait to meet you xo M
Hello all! My name is Kelsey. I’m a Drama teacher living in the Inner South East on my own currently, and although I love it, I’m looking to team up with someone and move out of my place at the end of May/start of June. I’m trying to do this whole “saving for a house” adult thing, and it’s easier when you live with an awesome housemate. I’ve been teaching for 6 years (Drama/English/Psych), so I have a reliable job. I spend most of the week either slaving away at work (kidding...I swear I love my job), at the gym (let’s see how long that resolution lasts), playing tennis or visiting friends/family. Bonus points if you play tennis. I’m pretty relaxed and like to chill with wine and watch tv every now and then. If I’m in a bad mood, I know to lock myself away. Would like a housemate that isn’t going to lock themselves away 24/7 though. Wouldn’t mind making a new friend! I like to go out every now and then, but I’m not a huge party animal (probably because all of my friends are basically married, but anyway....) I have everything needed for a house (fridge, couch, coffee table, tv, storage cubes, washing machine etc). Please note: my lease runs out mid June, so not looking to move until at least May :) Thanks!
Hey! I‘m a 23 year old student from Germany looking for a room in Melbourne East for my year abroad at Monash. I’ve been living in shared flats since I was an undergrad student and I would like to proceed this tradition abroad 😉 I am also looking forward meeting new people to make the most of my time in Australia. I would describe myself as a laidback and reliable person. I like memes, doing sports, video games and netflix, and going out. So, I guess what everybody likes to 😉. As a roommate, I mainly qualify by cooking not only fairly passable, but also regularly too much for myself. I’m also clean and tidy and respect others private space. I will be moving to Melbourne on 10th February, so unfortunately, I can’t come to inspect the flat/house before, but it would be great to get to know each other via skype. Cheers, Leon
Hi, I'm Rajiv. Im going to be studying and working part time in Melbourne for awhile. I'm a neat and tidy person. I make sure to clean up after myself and like to keep things in order. I usually keep myself busy with work or studies but I'm always ready to spend sometime to relax and unwind. I'm easy to get along with and am happy to lend a hand with anything if needed.
I am Kristin, 24 years old, from Germany and coming as a grad exchange student in psychology to Monash University. I am a friendly, tidy, open-minded and uncomplicated person. I lived in shared flats not only in Germany but also for one year in India and for another ten months in Argentina. I like it to spend time with my flatmates and cook together or go out for a beer but also sometimes just spending time by my own. I love to sing and play the guitar, hike, read books and I am addicted to good (vegetarian) food and coffee. I am keen to learn new things and I try to play an active part in society for example in the feminist or the climate justice movement. Besides I like travelling and getting to know new places and people - hence I would love to get to know you too!
Hi, Looking for somewhere to live for at least 3 months in one room of a private home. I work full time in Bentleigh and would prefer to stay around areas listed on my profile. If you do not have a listing, please do not make contact with me. Only people with listings please. I do not have a budget so please be in contact if what you have suits. Please also note l will not give cash for rent, l will only direct deposit. If you don't agree with that, don't waste time contacting me and l say that in the nicest possible way.
Hi there! I have lived in Brisbane, Shrewsbury (UK), Coventry (UK), and Montreal (Canada), but am originally from Malaysia. I am friendly and polite (at least I think so), and love good food. I will be commencing full-time postgraduate studies at Monash (Caulfield) this year, and am looking for a place to live. The 6 months length of stay listed on my profile is really more or a minimum period rather than a preferred length. I'm neat, clean, and tidy, particularly when it comes to common areas, but not to the point of being obsessive about it. I don't tend to make a racket unless we're all getting excited over games night together. I tend to try to help out around the house where possible, and I will never be tardy with bills. I tend to prefer a night in with good company (board games, a drink or two, movies etc.), but will also gladly go out for a drink and meal now and then. I enjoy hiking, swimming, skiing, and badminton. Not exactly a pro, but I'm always happy when I get the time to do any of them. I can also chat a bit about Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and a few other fantasy novels/authors if that's your kind of thing. In Melbourne I'd probably like to watch stand-up comedy, live music performances, and theatre shows every once in a while. I don't smoke or have pets, although quite frankly I'd be very happy to have canine or feline roommates.
