Hi there. Currently and for the last couple of years, I rent on my own after many years of share housing. However, for financial reasons, I'm considering looking to 'team up' on a new rental property preferably (mainly seeing as I've got a house worth of furnishings). I'm not in a desperate hurry to move and would only look to do so with the right housemate basically. About me; I work full time, play sport a couple of times a week, non-party animal, enjoy reading, listening to music and the beach in summer. I've been living in Newcastle just over five years now and don't mind playing tour guide if you're new to the city! Around the house, I'm easy going, tidy and respectful. I enjoy good company and conversation, but also enjoy a bit of quiet time too. Weekends are pretty quiet and laid back but in saying that, I like to get out of the house (not a lounge lizard). An ideal housemate would fit into similar criteria hopefully or at least think this sounds a bit like them. Similar age bracket too would be good. Let me know if that's you.
Emma and Kieran here! We are your standard description of a fun, friendly and easy going couple, who are welcoming and like to make new friends. We are both full time professionals working Monday to Friday as environmental consultants. We have one currently unemployed, awesome and low maintenance dog called Willow who is a 3 year-old small Corgi X (?). Current landlord can provide reference for us as well as for the dog. We are hoping to find a new place to jump into when our lease ends in late January. Can provide any further details upon request. Thanks! ☺️
Quiet person non smoker, currently doing an internship in social media marketing. Love animals. Not much of a socialite but wouldn't mind sharing accommodation with a few nice people, good with computers and a little artsy when the itch strikes. Spend a majority of my free time online, mostly gaming, so good internet is a must personally and professionally. Enjoy FFXIV, Overwatch, Dip into WoW on occasion ( Both factions c: ) pubg, little bit of csgo. Great things we could enjoy/get mad at together as roomies, would love to meet someone irl with some shared interests in these. Don't own a car to hog your driveway space and clean up after myself. Don't mind if you're loud (had a roommate that practiced drums every week) or smoker of any kind. Looking to live anywhere in the Newcastle area and suburbs close to bus lines. Prefer bills included in rent, but fine if they aren't. I've got a flawless rental history (3 years) and never been behind on payment, can provide references on request.
I am a 22-year-old uni student, looking to team up with a couple of people or find a room in a house in Newcastle. I have just finished my first year of Bachelor of Visual Communication Design and also work casually as a disability support worker. I only work day shifts so am usually at home of a night. I enjoy socialising with other housemates but also like time to myself. On weekends I like to go to the beach, catch up with friends, go for day trips to new places and occasionally have a few mates over for drinks and a platter before going out. I do have a 1-year-old kitten Nala, she is timid at first but once she gets to know you she is super loving, friendly and playful. I am currently keeping her as an indoor cat but at the right property, I would like to let her be able to go outside if she wants. She is house trained so won't claw at furniture and uses a litter tray. I have lived out of home for 2 years, however, wasn't officially on a lease so don't have a rental record. I am a very tidy person who will sometimes be up for a chat, dinner together and some drinks but also love time to myself and respect that of others. If you're interested then I'd love to meet up for a chat and a coffee!
My names Danni, I'm 23 years of age. I work full-time as a teacher and also study my Masters part time. I'm a pretty social person, often out and about on a weekend/beverages with friends, but i also love my own space and down time. Looking for a place in town with fun, clean people :)
I am 19, almost 20 years old and work two and a half jobs while studying a combined Law/Social Science degree. I work at Toys R Us in Rutherford and David Jones in Kotara, and I also teach saxophone on the side to school kids in their own homes. I am an organised, tidy person who loves animals, cars and bikes and is more than happy to help out around a house! I have financial records to show a consistent income, and am not a big spender or wild party goer. If you have any more questions please feel free to contact me.
i'm looking for a home! i've been trapped in semi-rural maitland for six months and i'm looking at moving back into town. i work, eat well and respect privacy. mostly i'll be found tinkering on a new project, lazing around with a book, working around the garden or on my writing. i'm also tidy, find solace is cleaning and prefer to do my required socialising outside of the house. finding enviro concious housemates i can not only coexsist with but create friendships with is the absolute ideal!! looking to move asap anywhere from georgetown to merewether (with islington being the central point) but not much further outside of those boundaries. i'm an experienced renter and can back up with references and receipts if you need reassurance that i can pay all bills on time. please hit me up with a message if youre offering a room that might suit!
Howdy hey! I'm Anna and I'm 20 years old. I'm looking to rent a room in the Newcastle Area such as Cooks Hill, Wickham, Hamilton, Maryville etc and may consider Charlestown/Kahibah/Adamstown Area - but not further south! Basically, to sum me up:- - Employed Full Time at a Law Firm - Vegan - Does CrossFit (yea I'm a walking meme, I know) - Enjoys a beer or 10 - Great record collection that you're most likely envious of - Loves preparing food and sharing with others I also have a Golden Retriever named Tyson. He's an old boy, he's 13 this year but he is still a puppy to me.. I would love to bring him along! He's quiet and doesn't bark at anyone or anything, he's very social and is super well behaved - he's a VERY good boy. If he were a human, you'd have a beer with him at pub because he's an all round good bloke. I'm willing to pay $50 extra a week to bring Tyson along. I'm looking to live somewhere clean, tidy, not a weekly party house but dinners/drinks on the odd occasion ok. I enjoy my space and privacy, but also enjoy hangin out. A veggie patch or lemon tree would be cool too! Please let me know if you have a room available in the above mentioned areas!
Hi, we are two friends looking for a third person to make up a three bedroom house. I am a Newcastle local who works full time and Demi is moving from North Qld to study med at UON. We would like a friendly and tidy person who has also lived in share housing before. If you like movies/tv, the gym, the beach, music, video games and the occasional night out we will get along just fine. Looking to move early to mid Feb.
Hey! I'm a chill and clean housemate who is a full time engineer in Newy. If I'm not at work, it's the gym, sport or shopping for food. Typically weekends I'm outdoors. Keen to find friendly housemates who like to chat and keep the house in good nick.
I'm easy going, tidy and always pay rent on time. I have a 5 year old golden retriever who is very well trained and very lazy. I have a whole house worth of furniture which can be used or put in storage. I'm in the RAAF and work at Williamtown. I travel to Brisbane about once a month so I need someone who loves dogs to be able to feed him when I'm gone.
Hi 😁 I am a nice 30 yr old guy who is very respectful of boundaries and space. I am a mathematician that works out near Kurri Kurri, so would very much be interested in anywhere there was somewhere that I could park my car. I am a fairly social person who enjoys the outdoors and activities like sailing, kayaking, mountain biking, camping, fishing etc... I am also a huge sportsfan, so would love to live with anyone into their footy (any kind ;) So let me know if you'd be interested in meeting up sometime for a chat. I am looking forward to an active, healthy and fun sharehouse in the future :) Thanks, Ash
Hey I am super easy going and don’t let things that other people do bother me too much. I am a neat and tidy person who won’t leave a mess too long before I clean it up. I’m an artist and also learning dressmaking so have a fairly creative personality. Animals are my favourite thing and I would love to find a pet friendly place for the future but it’s not a deal breaker :^)
Hey, I'm Rachel! I'm a full time uni student and I also work part-time at Genesis Fitness. I enjoy being active or just being outdoors in general but of course I don’t pass up quiet days in! Not much of a drinker nor do I party much so I can be quite the nanny :’). But nonetheless, I’d like to meet some likeminded people and hopefully become great friends/roommates :) I’ll be overseas from the end of January to the 23rd of Feb so looking to try and move ASAP when I get back!
Hey there! My name is Tahl I'm finishing my final year of medicine this year around Newcastle, Maitland, Orange and hopefully Alice Springs so I'll be drift around a bit throughout the year, but I'm looking for a home base in Newcastle. I also work part time in disability support. I like to think of myself as sociable and friendly. I'm a big fan of sneaky drop of vino, smashing out a few bangers on the guitar, having a laugh, making friends and cooking up something tasty. I'm super easy to get along with, I respect shared spaces and like to keep things clean and tidy without being a freak about it ;). I like to surround myself with beautiful people and share stories and laughs. I grew up in Melbourne and moved to Newcastle 5 years ago. I've just moved back from Tamworth where I was studying last year and I'm super keen to get back to my old stomping ground. I love getting outdoors in the bush, I rock climb, hike, scuba dive and like to throw myself into crazy adventures. I'm a good listener, I like to think deep and talk about questions that don't have answers. Before studying medicine I studied philosophy and I just can't get enough of it - I love to tickle my brain.
I am tidy, easy going and social 20 year old girl! I study journalism and work roughly 30 hours a week, both day and night work. I'm looking to move out in Newcastle at it is more suitable to get to my workplace and I love the young social environment Newcastle has.
Moving to work full time (8-6pm, Monday to Friday) around the Hunter in allied health. When home, I am clean and respect the privacy of others but don't mind a small chat here and there. Hobbies include newfound love of the beach, spotting furbabies on the sidewalk and exploring new coffee and brunch venues. Non smoker and (regretfully) no pets. Can be flexible with the move in date and open to long term stay. Would prefer females only. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions
I'm moving to Newcastle from Melbourne for work (lawyer) and I now need a place to live! As I'm new to Newcastle I'm looking for sharehouse with a good location and some fun/sociable room-mates. Outside of work I try and stay active , (gym, skiing, bike riding). Otherwise, I don't mind the occasional beer/wine, I'm easy going, tidy and I'm an okay cook. If you think we'd be a good fit send me a message
Hello! I'm a 25 year old female PhD student at the University of Newcastle, working at HMRI/John Hunter Hospital. I'm a hardcore science nerd who is also a huge fan of baking. I'm currently living at home and looking to move out. Ideally, it would be in a house of people with whom i could be friends. I will be in Newcastle for the foreseeable future so longer term stays would be preferable. I have a scholarship until march 2019 so reasonable rent isn't an issue. I'm looking to spend $250 (including bills and internet) maximum and preferably with a private bathroom but not a necessity. I have a car so somewhere to park would also be lovely. I'm not a party person, a chill night with wine and netflix suits me fine and I'm happy to keep to myself. If I sound like someone you might want to rent a room to (or you have a property in which I could live), please message me!

Hi :) I am coming to Newcastle end of December and I'm looking for a room in shared house. From January to April I'll be doing a full-time internship as part of my Applied Physics studies. Currently, I am based in The Netherlands, where I go to university. I like cooking, socializing, and every now and then go into my own bubble to recharge. Dancing is a great part of my life, I really like salsa, zouk and other types of latin dances. I speak 4 languages (English, Dutch, Spanish and Papiamento). If you have a room, or think we could be good housemates, let me know :) Other questions are welcome as well! Cheers, Andrew
