Hey! I'm studying Mechanical Engineering at UoN. I've just returned from an exchange in Munich and am looking to move into a place in a good location with some friendly, funny people. When I'm free from study I like running around the city for cheap food/drink or maybe travelling a little bit, though I enjoy some hammock time too. I love a good chat and meeting people but I'm quiet and clean outside of that.

Hi! I'm Sarah. I'm a third year nutrition and dietetics student looking for a new abode in Newcastle before uni goes back. Very easy-going, neat and tidy. I'm not a party animal but definitely enjoy a glass of wine and a chat from time to time. I'm also very respectful of people's personal space and expect the same in return. I have just returned home to Australia after a few weeks of travel, so I'm looking to move back to Newcastle ASAP.
Hi, I'm a full time professional who has recently moved back to Newcastle. I work as a Commercial Manager (Contracts etc) for a Holiday Park group, located in Carrington - so i'm hoping to live close to work. I lived in Newcastle for the 5 years prior to this, during Uni, originally from Nambucca Heads on the NSW North Coast. I'm looking to move into somewhere pretty quickly as i'm currently staying with my girlfriend. I'm happy to provide some furniture, so let me know if the house requires anything. I have previously shared, and consider myself a pretty good housemate. I can (and do) cook & clean, am social but am respectful and enjoy privacy. I enjoy the occasional beer and like to know the people i'm living with, and have previously enjoyed the social aspect of a share house. Ideally, i'd like to be living with someone around my age who is working full time. Outside of work I enjoy getting outdoors, going to the beach or gym, plus all the usual stuff like dinner/coffee with friends. If you're looking for a solid housemate, please message me.
Neat and tidy, keep to myself. Work in the bicycle industry so can help out with your flat tyres. Work is Newcastle West, my ex and kids live in Merewether so looking for something local to that area.
Greetings! Looking to relocate from east Maitland back into Newcastle to be closer to family, friends and for work. Quiet, respectful, neat and tidy, and overall an asset to any place. Any questions?feel free to ask. Open to and interested in most possible living arrangements but hoping to meet some amazing people and join an amazing household
I'm a mean cook (you like risotto? we're gonna be friends), a clean hooman, avid reader and a happy housemate. Started working in a coffee shop here in Newy East, so closer the better. Probably spend my time between the beach and work and binging the back catalogue of Netflix's documentary section. Look forward to meeting, future flatties. Here on a WHV, so flexibility with the stay length. Thank you!
Happy, quiet, responsible, pay rent on time, likes and gives respect to others. Keeps active, looking for a long term with all bills included. Prefers not overcrowded places. Close to transport. Likes Pets. I have my own bed, looking for a private room. Not into parties, enjoys day living, walking, gardening at times. The locations 1) in the Newcastle choices have to be close to the Princes Highway to help me catch the 350 bus route bound to Swansea early morning, this bus is frequent during peak times which sets my traveling time very tight during non-peak hours. or 2) In the Revesby area or 3) in North Parramatta or 4) in Bankstown
28 year old registered nurse - just started working full time at the John Hunter and looking for a place closer to work. I am well-traveled and used to sharing living spaces - so I how important it is to be clean, tidy and respectful of others. That being said, i'm pretty easy-going, love a chat and a few beers. I'm an active kids, so I'll most likely be riding my bike around enjoying the sunshine on my days off. I'm also pretty handy in the kitchen!
Guten Morgen Welt (yea that´s German), So here I am, 24 years old, sitting in the hostel in Newcastle, planning my life in Newcastle. Even though I know life can´t be planned. Some facts about me could help you: - grew up on a farm south of Berlin (with horses and everything) - moved into a shared flat when I was 15 because of schooling (so I am pretty used to living with others) - lived in Botswana (southern Africa) for a year to work with disabled children - started to study in Potsdam (town next to Berlin) to become a teacher for primary level - still studying in Potsdam for my Masters degree;-) (puhhh, it takes forever) - living in Berlin in different shared flats over the years - travelled around the world every time I could (Botswana, South Africa, West of USA, Philippines, Nepal and a bit Europe) I would consider myself open minded and tolerant, desperate to see the world and have adventures. Coffee, beer and Döner Lover ;-) Diver and totally excited about it. The perfect day for me: waking up after a great night out, having an unplanned but still perfect breakfast with friends, which is more a brunch because it takes so long. Nobody has planes for the day, so we just hang out and chat all day. We got the time and energy to be totally spontaneous (it´s more a feeling than an actual day I´m describing). Looking forward hearing from you (ok, to be honest, totally excited and nervous;-) ) Yours, Tabea

Hey! I'm Todd. I work as an estimator for a big construction company and also DJ on weekends and occasionally through the week. I've rented houses with friends/randoms for at least 4 years so I'm pretty experienced when it comes to these living arrangements and find it easy and good fun. I'm very relaxed and respectful of those I live with and would expect that to go both ways. I'm pretty busy at work so my weekdays are usually very quiet and I also work away in Sydney every 3 - 4 weeks so I will disappear at times. Come the weekend I'm very social and will spend most of it out with my friends, playing a gig or at soccer now the season is around the corner. If you're chilled through the week and fun on the weekends like me then please give me a buzz. Looking to live back in the city or as close to as possible. Main preference is to start a new lease at a new property with someone.

I'm very quite but very well spoken. I don't like to bother other people and I'm very respectable, I do love metal music etc so hopefully that isn't to much of a problem to play music sometimes. I've lived out of home since I was 16 and I feel as though I've done very well
Hi! I am looking for 1 bedroom for a couple. Open to sharing with whoever. We tend to keep to ourselves but can be social when necessary. Very easy going and clean, references available. We have some furniture so can help furnish a house if necessary. Hope to hear from you soon!
I am in the Early Stages of looking into my next living situation. Looking at moving end of March. I have furniture for a room + lounge room. Fridge and washing machine. I can sell/ store some furniture, but would prefer to keep as much as possible. Looking at unfurnished room/ studio/ granny flat etc. I am an "Ambivert" (Both introvert and extrovert) I Like people, and socializing, however, I need my own space and time to recharge. I clean up after myself, and prefer a tidy house- but not an OCD clean freak. I like to think i'm a considerate housemate, and quite open for discussion for any house rules/ to avoid tense/ negative conflict.
Easy-going people are really the only thing I care about. Other than that, I'm easy. I've graduated UNI, and am now looking to work full time in Newcastle. I'm a laid back guy, who's always down for a good time. Social, considerate, not really good at talking myself up. Non-smoker, I enjoy a good drink or twelve (when it's necessary, of course), and I have an affinity for dogs.
Moving to Newcastle from Sydney. Spent the past year working and travelling, now looking for a change. I work full time in hospitality. I'm easy going and social, but love a nap and some alone time. Wanting to move in with people who are more than just flatmates that would enjoy hanging out, and are happy for my partner and Sydney friends to visit and stay over :) I don't know the area too well, but i'm keen to live near the beach, or an area with lots happening! I've got some furniture to contribute if needed like a really nice fold out couch! :) Looking to move asap for the right place! Feel free to message me
Hi My name is Markos. I was born in Greece, grew up in Germany and lived and studied in Switzerland the past 10 years. I'm starting my PhD (History) at UoN in late February and look forward to getting to know Australia. During my 10 years in Switzerland I lived on my own for a year and in shared flats for 9 years (which is not too uncommon for students in Switzerland). I'm pretty accustomed to sharing a place with others, be it students or people working in diverse fields. I respect different ways of living, and like to deal with differences before they turn into those little everyday fights in shared places. I value a tidy, clean and cozy place to live. I do enjoy socializing with flatmates, be it while cooking or just talking while having a beer. I came to like the more urban parts of Newcastle and hope to find some affordable place to share with others. Other things to know: I'm in a long and stable relationship with my fiancée back in Switzerland. I'm a smoker that respects non-smokers.
I work full time as a learning and development professional and part time managing a charity on a volunteer basis. I'm polite, respectful and have lived in share housing previously and appreciate the value of positive household dynamics. Most of the time I'll be busy between work and charity so won't be around a lot. I'm also a social and easy going person but respect the privacy of others. I like being active, play basketball, enjoy scuba diving and am hoping to finish my pilots licence this year if I get the time.
Hello, I am Marta, 28 years old, from Spain. I am here working in my PhD in HMRI (close to John Hunter Hospital). I am a tidy, clean and social person. I don't smoke and I don't have pets either. I would like to find a bed in a share room for about 160$ (all included, if possible), but I am open to hear other offers. I would like to live either around Hamilton or Cooks Hill or close to the HMRI (being in the centre of the city or close to my job place).
Hey guys I'm a 26 y/o youth worker. I'm super friendly and up for anything. I can be a pretty quiet person to live with. I spend all my time at the beach surfing or something along those lines. I would like to live with a female/s this time round. I'm super easy to live with and respect everyones things and everyones space. Anyway let me know :) oh if theres a space for a beautiful border collie ill bring her along if not then its all gravy too!
I'm easy going and work well with people. I always have an open mind and am happy to share where needed. Am just looking for a place to call home and to be able to finish my uni studies. I'm finishing a degree in IT and Business and hope to find a career with this in the education sector. I'm originally from Orange NSW and have a rural background.
I'm super laid back and really love going to the beach, live music, meditation and the wilderness. I'm studying film at TAFE which i really really love. I'm super clean and actually am a master dish-washer and am down for a communal vibe. Fire away with any questions or queries! :)
I'm a business consultant working full time in Newcastle. I'm friendly, easy going, tidy and reliable. Respect people and their homes as I would do mine. I love reading, travelling, like meeting people from all nationalities and open to new things in general. Good cook, enjoy a glass of wine occasionally.
Hello. I am a 40 yo Community Worker, moving to Newcastle from the Mid North Coast for work. I am a quiet and tidy housemate. I'm happy to socialise with you but am also able to give you your own space. In my spare time I like to see live shows and art exhibitions. I'm also a keen bush walker.
I'm an easy going sociable person, who is clean and responsible. I'm bubbly and can get along with just about anyone. I love animals big and small and I am highly respectable of others in any given situation. I love to have quiet nights in just as much as I love to have a night out on the town or some drinks with mates. I currently live on the Central Coast after travelling S.E.Asia and looking for accommodation close to the beaches and cycleways as I love to be outdoors and keep relatively fit and healthy. I'm currently in my 2nd year of study at UON, while I also work casually to fund my living and travel addiction. I'm looking to make some life long friends as well as find a place I can slot my bed into and call a home. If you're looking for a fun loving housemate that doesn't; hog the bathroom, leave dirty dishes around, has bad B.O or uses the clothes line as a wardrobe - I'm your girl!
Hey hey! I've spent the past 3 years living in Canberra both on campus and most recently living in a share house off campus. This year I'm hoping to come and see what the water tastes like in Newcastle. I've recently started a Certificate IV in Veterinary nursing so I'm looking to continue my study, pick up some full-time work and enjoy the occasional cold one with Housemate's preferably in a similar position. I'm tidy, easy going, make a good cob loaf and can provide some mediocre banter (and a 49" TV). I've mostly found it easiest living with guys while in Canberra but I'll also be happy as Larry in a mixed house. I'll be looking to move into somewhere at the end of June hopefully in the vicinity of Adamstown as I have a few good mates living there already. I'd be interested in looking for low maintenance and relatively modern houses/town houses (3/4 bedroom). But depending on what is available at the time I'm pretty keen to move anywhere. If you think we're looking for similar things and will kick it off pretty well or want to know if I'd be willing to compromise on location, bedrooms, rent budget, residential type, etc just swing me a message, I'm pretty flexible. I look forward to hearing from those who are interested. Woo hoo let's do this. It'd also be cool if you had a dog so I can pet it.
I have been living in Newcastle for the past 6 months, although I went to uni here and moved away for about 5 years before returning. I now work full time in town and have loved being back in this cool little city. I go to the gym regularly and generally like being active. I also like to get to the beach as much as I can during the summer months. I am pretty social and enjoy making new friends but I do have to balance this with a fairly busy work life. I love a glass of wine or two on the weekends but I don't like to waste them so I like to keep the hangovers to minimum.
Very easy to get on with. Clean and tidy. Working full-time Monday to Friday, currently building a retirement village I like going to the beach and will soon be playing for a soccer team. Not into clubbing but I don't mind the odd night out. I have a company Ute so I would need somewhere to park it close by.
Hi there, My name is Michael, I'm 28 male, full-time professional. moved to Newcastle from Syd last Feb and have been living by myself since. I'm over living by myself, prefer to live with others. I consider myself clean and respectable of others. I work Mon-Fri 9-5 but will sometimes work different hours or weekends. In my spare time I like to exercise and enjoy the odd drink. I'm looking to leave my current place in the next 2-3 weeks and ideally want a share place with other mid - late 20 yr olds.
I'm from New Zealand and I moved here for an engineering apprenticeship. I like reading, watching shows, playing games. I come with some outdoor furniture. I'm always ready to lend a helping hand or give someone a lift. I'm looking for housemates that are friendly and like to have a few drinks together and hang out sometimes. I work shift work, and I'm a very heavy sleeper so I'm not worried about noise.
I'm an easy and out going person, I enjoy being social but also like to have self time. I work 3 jobs, so I'm barely home. I'm a clean and pretty organised person, I also enjoy cooking and binge Netflix watching. 😅
Hi there, I am looking to share to save some money. I'm down to earth, friendly and a busy individual. I would like to live with people who are like minded- hard working and respectful. I enjoy keeping fit, good food and an occasional drink. I've lived alone for over 7 years.. so this will be a change for me! But I'm looking forward to new things 😊😊
