Moving to Sydney from NZ to take up a job at UTS. I'm a clean, active, easy-going and social person hoping to find some fun people to live with. I will have a full time job so will likely be busy during the week but am always down for exploring the city, binge watching netflix or having a cheeky wine on the weekends. Looking for a large private room in a share house close to the CBD or close to a bus/train station - less than a 45min commute via public transport. Prefereably furnished with a double bed and avalible mid-late May. I'm not sure how long I'll need the room for but will most likley be between 3 months and 1 year+
Hi I'm Abeer, I'm an MBA student at Macquerie University. Have been in Sydney for a bit more than a year enjoying all the sights & adventures the city has to offer :). I'm quite easygoing, neat, considerate (in terms of flatmates & noise), a foodie who loves trying out new cuisines, and enjoy meeting new people and building connections. I am fond of Newtown and the nearby suburbs, where I am looking to settle down for at least the next 6 months.
Im a very independent clean and respectful person. Currently self employed and work very hard. I don't smoke do drugs or drink (will have occasional beer). Happy to keep to my self or have a chat and eat dinner together. Love to have a laugh and chill out in my down time :)
I'm a 28 year old guy, finished studying last year and now work as a civil engineer. I've spent the last few years living in share houses in the inner west while studying so I know the life well. I work in Lindfield now and am looking to be closer to work. I'm really just after a place where I can have a conversation with people and hang out and watch netflix or whatever. Stuff I've been watching lately: Arrested Development, Always Sunny, Walking Dead. I also play a bit of basketball. I'm pretty mature and like to keep things clean and tidy (but not obsessively). I also don't mind cooking.
Easy going and friendly. I like my own space and love to sleep in on weekends. Happy to sit and chat in the evenings. I usually leave town once a month for the weekend. I like socialising with my friends who live in the area, bushwalking, going to Balmoral Beach. Traveling is my passion and I have lived in many countries over the last 20 years. Love animals so if you have pets happy to help with their care if needed.
Hi, we are Annemiek and Esmee from the Netherlands and starting our internship in Sydney at September 1. We are really looking forward to it, but first we have to find a place to stay. We are looking for a 2 bedroom apartment or granny flat, preferably furnished. We are both easygoing and love to have a good laugh. We like to go to the beach/park and see new places. (We're not party animals). Our preferred lengt of stay is 5 months. We're also both very tidy. We will respect everybody's space, while also being social sometimes. We also enjoy cooking. Looking forward to hear from you!
I'm a middle aged "young at heart" man who is respectful and friendly, tidy, house trained, and likes to cook. I also like to socialize, but need some quiet time as well. I have my own business in the window film industry, so I'm busy during the week working in Sydney. I generally try to maintain a healthy lifestyle, which includes eating and sleeping well, exercise - gym and yoga, cycling, swimmming, time in the great outdoors. I love the beach, so ideally would like to live as close as I can. Looking for someone who is working and responsible, and in a similar position regarding accomodation. Happy to meet you beforehand. Phil
I'm staying with my brother for the moment so my move date is flexible. I'm an academic and I teach academic skills to incoming international postgraduate students. Long-time share houser: at least a decade in share housing, have lived with 40-50 people. Clean, tidy, chilled. Friendly, but probably not as social as some people on here. I'm looking for a place that's quiet, and I have an allergy to dust and mould, so I'm looking for somewhere modern and without carpet or smoke.
We, Jurek and Marina, are a friendly, peaceful, easy going, open minded and very tidy couple with a well trained dog who are looking for an accommodation not too far away from St. Leonards (max. 30-45 min. by car/train). Marina is studying sport and fitness and is working part time in St. Leonards and sometimes in Wahroonga. Jurek is an self employed Exercise Scientist/Health Therapist working in the northern suburbs of Sydney. We are enjoying an active life and are busy with our work and own business as well as the studies. We, including our dog Gorgi are quite and love to spend time outdoors. When at home we respect our flatmates and their privacy, but don't mind to get together sometimes to share a meal or spend time together. It is very important to us, if sharing an accommodation, that our flatmate/s are open minded, no party animals and tidy. Other than that we respect every person, doesn't matter from which part of this world. We love to meet new people and share our experiences and stories. Originally we are from Germany/Kazakhstan, but have been travelling for almost 5 years, now on the lookout for a place to call home. If this suits you, we a happy to hear from you! Thank you! :)
hello we are a young couple from Italy and we planning to stay in Sydney for at least 6 month but we will see for the future . we have an adorable house trained dog small size . he never made an y damages to the house where we where living before . we have excellent references .
Hey My name is Dylan. My friend Elise, Junya and I are looking to team up with 1 other person to start a new house around the northern beaches with a budget of $295 per room. I have lived in the northern beaches for a couple of years and love it here as both my businesses are locally and our families live around this area too. Unfortunately my lease is coming to an end so its time for a fresh start. I have 2 dogs -a French mastiff (Ralphie - well know around the NB ) and a French bulldog (5 months old but a daddies boy ). Quite the odd couple but both are pretty quiet, mostly live outdoors and come with me when they can. Low maintenance basically. We are currently looking at places that are pretty large so everyone has their own space. The good news is I have a whole house worth of furniture, electrics and everything one needs ready to put straight in where ever we move including Free internet. Workwise: I have run a martial arts academy based in chatswood for over 13 years, lived in Thailand on and off for over a decade competing in sport, run and manage a Parkinson's boxing fitness company and co own a custom water bottle business on the side. So I'm rarely there at night , often away on weekends and lay pretty low. We all cook and eat clean, love a VERY clean house and have lived with others since we were young so we know how to run a household and make it work efficiently and drama free. Oh and love movies, HUGE MOVIE buffs.
I am a PhD student overseas and I am coming Macquarie University to finish mt thesis. So, although I want some fun sometimes, I should work most.
Looking for some short term accommodation. 4-12 weeks. Very quiet guy, full time work and part time Uni student (external). Party years are behind me, few beers on a Saturday afternoon is must though. Gym regularly for powerlifting. Looking for a quiet place to study and sleep. Will cook once or twice a week for meal prep. Very clean and honest. Will happily supply character references.
I am a male Italian software developer looking for a job in Sydney. I landed the 9th of April with a working holiday visa, currently looking for an accomodation and a job. I am clean and respectful.
Young professional female, quiet and clean. Looking for a small but nice place to stay while my partner is away renovating a house. 3 - 6 months from the end of June.
I'm originally from Canada and came to live in Sydney for a year prior to returning home to finish my studying, I arrived in early April and am now looking for something more long term. I work full time in Willoughby and will be doing so for the entire duration of my stay, i'm tidy and quiet but I also love having a glass of wine at the end of the day if my room mates would like!
I'm an Italian journalist moved here in Sydney 4 months ago. I'm looking for a cozy place to stay, I'm an easy going, open mind person and willing to meet new people in this amazing city.
I am from Perth, WA relocating to Sydney for work. I am looking for an affordable, clean, modern (if possible) room to rent. I am a friendly, bubbly person who will respect your home and your privacy. I will be moving to Sydney in the next month or so and would be very eager to find something suitable :) I am quite outdoorsy, active and social but also like to chill/have down time on the weekends
Hi Im looking for a room in share house around north sydney areas very urgently as my lease will be finished in a few weeks. Here is a little about myself. My name is Vivien. Im 24 years old working fulltime in north sydney. Im an easygoing and very respectful person especially for other's privacy. And most of all Im a very clean person and always pay rent on time. I also have a 9months old kitten with me. She is a Scottish Fold kitten and 100% toilet trained.
Im Jean-Pierre, currently work part time and study. Looking to move from the Central Coast down to Sydney as both work and uni are there. Im clean, respect peoples own space and am easy to get along with. Enjoy exercise, but also enjoy a catch up over a few beers.
I work full time for a car manufacturer in Artarmon, I take pride in my work, am clean and tidy at home, and not looking for a party house. I'm a social guy though and enjoy the company of others, but chilled alone time is always great too. I'm the adventurous kind and to keep my work weeks from getting too monotonous I try to get out for a walk / bike ride / roadtrip when possible. Always an optimist, and if you've got a sense of humour we'll get on great. I have an 11 year old dog called Otto who is very friendly - he loves people and other animals too. He is a Lagotto (Google it!), who doesn't shed any hair, and spends his days mostly lazying around until it's time for a daily walk. I'm moving from a terrace in Kirribilli so he is used to being inside during the day while I'm out / at work. Looking to move now-ish but I'm not cemented on a date at present so taking my time to choose a nice place with people I click with.
