Hi, I'm Karen. I'm looking for a place closer to work. I am an easy going, non smoker, friendly, respectful and neat person looking for similar person to share a house/apartment with. I'm very responsible and always pay the bill on time.
I am 24 years old and work in hospitality. I am from Brisbane and moved to Melbourne about 7 months ago so that I could utilise all the fun activities and culture this city has to offer. I am currently living and working in Bayside and want to move closer to the city but still be on the Frankston train line so I can get to work in Highett. I am currently not studying but eventually would like to work in wildlife conservation or any other occupation that involves caring for animals / caring for the environment. I am clean and social and would love some roomies of similar age that are like minded and fun. I also keep to myself a lot when I'm not working and appreciate that everyone needs their personal space.
My name is Zac. I'm a Virgo, QPOC and vegan for three years now. I am about to graduate from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts. Majored in Politics and International Relations. I'll be working full-time over summer with the Victorian Government. Originally from Sydney, went to a performing arts school. On weekends I like to go out for drinks with friends, spend the days tanning at the beach and exploring the city.

Hello I am currently on the search for a new home for the next few months. I am working full time in Real Estate in Berwick & have two days off work a week. I am usually out & about during the days and spend evenings at home relaxing. Bed provided is ideal, however if not I can source one. I am open to meeting all walks of life of any age & gender and generally find that I get along with just about anyone! I am honest, respectful of personal space & like to keep things tidy. I enjoy the company of others but I also need some alone time to recharge every now & then. I don't mind if you smoke & pets are an added bonus if you have them! Length of stay & price can be discussed further. Shoot me a message. I look forward to meeting you!
Down to earth German guy with a preference for solid, handmade music. I'm a sucker for bikes, craft beer, vietnamese/thai cuisine and I love travelling just as much as everybody my age. I'm super easy going and like to meet new open minded people. Why am I coming to Melbourne? I've been to Melbourne during July/August 2016 as part of an exchange project between my university in Germany and the Monash University Melbourne and I loved it! I continued to participate in this project and now I get that travel opportunity again! :) Also, I'm used to share flats with others from my exchange semester in Eugene, OR and my flat here in Germany. You won't find my stuff lying around the house - I'm tidy and clean. As I said before: I'm super easy going, let's grab a beer! ;) Cheers, Paul
I am looking for a share house with one other person only. I keep to myself and I am very clean. I am looking for a environment where I can relax and feel at home. I am intelligent and very friendly but also very shy. I don't have many visitors, just my adult children once a month or so. I am happy to more than my share of housework. I spend time in my own room reading books or playing games. I love watching ABC and SBS and am interested in science and science fiction. I hope to find an older gentleman that I can feel comfortable with. I am 48 years old, mature, high IQ, high EQ, interested in all music, philosophy, literature and star trek. I am also very fun with a great sense of humour.
Hi! My name is Leah and I’m an American on my working holiday visa. I’m easy going and like to have a good time! I love to hang out with friends and explore the city and love traveling. I also love to stay at home and just chill out. I’m looking for someone who is neat, clean, and shares the same interests as me. :)
Hey I'm Sarah. I'm an arts student at Monash Uni. I'm a bit of a book nerd, and not much of a party goer. I'm basically an old lady in a young(ish) body. Looking for a quiet and friendly place to rent, preferably with another female or a couple :)
Hi, I'm Ali. I'm a 50 year old single gal, looking for short term accommodation for at least 6 months in a house, with few rooms and a lovely garden to sit in :) . I am a trainer (classroom, adult teaching) by profession, sometimes working irregular hours. I'm into socialising, dancing and dance classes, yoga, good music, camping, reading, learning new things. I often go away to the country on weekends. I am clean, considerate of other people's space, respectful of the space I am living in, extra considerate with keeping shared spaces clean & tidy; love animals (if you have one, that is awesome as I don't), and good conversation and always a good laugh. I like to cook for myself and others - don't have a huge repertoire, always happy to learn more :) I am house trained, reliable, can pay the rent on time, pitch in to keeping the house beautiful. I look forward to meeting you and finding my new home.
Hello potential housemate(s), My boyfriend, Farkhan, and I need a room to stay for short term while we secure a house with our friends. We need to move in on Sunday, 29 October for at least a week, then we can continue the rental terms if we still haven't secured a house. It could take a week to up to a month for us to secure a house and able to move in, so I'd say a week first just to be safe. Looking for: - something in south east /east Melbourne (south east furtherest until Berwick, east is until Box Hill, Mitcham, anywhere between city and these places) - couple friendly - less than 210 per week (willing to pay more if you can accept our fur kid mentioned below) - Furnishing can be flexible as we have our own - happy to share toilet, but own bathroom will be a plus (willing to pay more for our own bathroom)! - Hopefully something with less bond required as well. We'll be respectful of the property and not damage anything. - We have an indoor cat, which we can leave with our friends if not suitable for the house or if you guys don't mind a bonus cute housemate, that'll be awesome!! Foz (the cat) will not make any mess or destroy anything. About us: Nancy is an international student from Taiwan doing last semester in Monash Uni, work part time. Farkhan is an international student from Singapore doing mechanic course in Kangan on Monday and Tuesday, and working as a mechanic in Springvale on Wednesday to Saturday. We are friendly and respectful. Not party people, mostly watch shows when we're at home so internet connection is essential. Foz is a 1.5 years old Tabby who only stays indoor. All he does all day is sleep, walk around and eat. Message us anytime:) Regards, Nancy and Farkhan
I'll be moving back to Melbourne in January/February in order to start my Master's degree at Monash. I was in Melbourne for 4 months as part of a working holiday and fell in love with the city, I'm back home in the States for now but can't wait to come back. I've lived in shared flats/houses several times, all through university and as part of my working holiday where I was an au pair and lived with two different families. When not in class or at work, I like running or biking, as well as curling up with a good book or going out for a few drinks.
So bit about me, I was born overseas. Have been living in Melb for over 10 years and it's home. Work full time in the corporate world. Love to explore pubs, cafes, go on road trips, travelling. Pretty easy to live with.

Hello! I'm currently living in Melbourne and studying a Bachelor of Science at Monash Uni (zoology & conservation biology). I'm a friendly, easy-going and tidy person who loves a good boardgame, movies, seeing live music and being outdoors! I love good conversation and spending time with friends but also enjoy downtime and my own space :) Having lived in a share house before, I'm respectful of other peoples privacy too. Also a vegetarian! I'm looking for a roommate or two to move out with somewhere within walking distance to Monash Uni or just a room to move into. I also need a space for my car :)
I'm a full time student, I work part time in a pastry kitchen on my days off of school. I am generally a quiet person. I respect people's privacy and personal space. I consider myself a considerate person as I always clean up after myself in the kitchen and the bathroom. Pretty much as house-trained as anyone can be! :)
Hey, I'm Felipe I'm 26 y/o. I'm currently working full time in hospitality, days can vary but I always work during the day. I am starting my Graduate Diploma in Computer Science next year. My partner and I are pretty relaxed, we are respectful, most of the time we spend it at work or at uni but when we are at home we normally watch TV shows/movies, play board game or video games. We also cook sometimes and would like to have some friends over, but are very tidy, quiet and respectful. We are currently looking a place to live near Monash University (Caulfield campus) as my partner who's 29 y/o teaches and studies there. However we are not limiting our choices to that area and will consider interesting places that are close to train stations on the Frankston or Pakenham lines. We are looking for a place where we can feel like home with relaxed and easy going housemates who are respectful and considerate as we are. We are up to meet in person and chat more before we shake on it.
Nurse, 33, from Philippines. Currently unemployed due to depression. Getting back on my feet and finding my way back to the workforce. Planning to move to Sydney soon. No problem with regards to paying rent on time. Dogs are a plus too, since I love dogs! Pretty much, I just like to stay out of your way, respects your space and privacy. But happy to chat and get to know people. I've been living in sharehouses for 6 years. No issues in sharing. Btw, my only issue was when I was told by my housemate to "get my act together". Clinical depression is a medical condition and not an act. I do not wish depression on anyone. If you understand mental health issues or open/accepting and willing to learn, that would definitely be much better. I'm more stable now. I think this is not a normal profile, considering the question I need to answer is "What makes me great to live with?" Perhaps, I just wanna put it out there. I'm not good with pretentions. I hope my profile doesn't come across as cocky. I'm just using every medium I know, to spread awareness about mental health issues and that people need not be ashamed of it. It's not our fault that we are sick. Even if this would cost me more difficulty and time looking for a place to stay.
